FEBO Haarlem - Paul Krugerstraat in Transvaalwijk

Wanted to order online, Unfortunately just like last week and the week before...still 3 types of snacks sold out. As a snack bar you can't go weeks without snacks or can you?

Always friendly and good food. Pricey, but really a quality snack bar. And special frikadel with mayo/ketchup instead of curry/mayo, so +1

Really ridiculous prices. €5 for a special frikadel sandwich. More than €3 for a meatball. €7 for 2 skewers of satay of 100 grams. 1 frikadel special €4.15. And the gentleman on the phone was a bit rude. I don't recommend this.

As far as the cuisine is concerned, it's Febo, it's not bad but there you go. On the other hand, the service was a disaster, apart from the fact that the person who took our order made no effort in English or even that he completely ignored our requests, not a smile or a pleasant look. Almost contempt in the eyes, for that alone I strongly advise against it. On top of that, what makes Febo so charming, the filled windows where you choose and get what you want straight away were all empty. Very disappointing when you come to eat quickly.

What disinterest radiates from the staff, terrible. Can't get a smile or a hello, yuck. Although I understand that it can be depressing to work in a snack bar that, in my opinion, is not running well, I really don't understand why the staff is so grumpy and prefers to make 0 contact. They do not seem to me to be independent operators, but rather uninterested employees whom I would very quickly kick out of my snack bar. Fries are not fresh but made from potato flour or something like that. Ridiculously expensive, 4.80 for a medium fries war. I would rather give the container size XS. As a customer you can use the toilet but have to pay 50 cents. This was the 3rd time I have been here and definitely the last time.

Grumpy people who work there. The food is way too expensive for what you get

The people who are here have been working there for a long time, but I don't think they enjoy it as much anymore. I had a fries war and a special, not to be eaten! Fries barely fried, sauce far from tasty. Specially, you used to burn your mouth because of the fat, but now it is a tasteless compact mass. It used to be said, madam, this is for you, now people point out and the order is slapped on the counter!! From now on I will go to Reko again when I am in Cronje.

I've been coming there for years. Friendly employees. Wherever I eat, fries are especially tasty here. When I come here I always bring a chicken burger. It's a shame that it's small in price, but it remains my favorite!

Very long wait today, I'm not hungry anymore. Out of misery I took something from the freezer.

Had to call twice to place an order, yes, they arrived within 15 minutes, so we've never been there and have been closed for an hour in the meantime. I will NEVER order anything from here again.

1 star is still too much, if you can't make a snack or fries, you really have no chance. 2 big old toddlers behind the counter

Waited 2 hours for my order then received it as cold and for that 30 euros luckily hygiene is also priority 1 I just couldn't make a wig from the hair on my burger

The old guy are grumpy, I think better stay at home and give your job to someone else who will appreciate the service. And they talk about the customer on their own language. Which I understand what are they talking about 😂 that’s rude AF.

Just rudely refused with my assistance dog. Supposedly allergic while the gentleman is standing far behind his counter and I have a labradoodle specifically for allergies. The gentleman did not want to listen that he discriminates against me based on my physical disability. Left and in addition to this review I will file a complaint against this ball tent. They will never see me and my partner there again. 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. This man is breaking the law

The review below was written after the experience. Later I contacted a branch manager. They made up for it with a free snack and an apology. That may be said. I personally don't come here because of a previous bad experience years, years ago. Now had lunch at the request of a colleague. The gentleman was very passive, even when I asked about prices and options, no referral. Because there was a breathing space between frikandel sandwich and mayonnaise and ketchup and onions, everything was processed separately. Later I found a price list and it did not match. So paid a lot more. Received a rude, absurd response when I asked about the difference. Prices absurdly high, especially when a frikandel sandwich is split up special (€5.35 paid for it), very strange. Nasty man. This is really the last time here.

Never seen such bad staff. Grumpy, disinterested, unfriendly, blunt, autistic. I live nearby so I've been there every now and then, for 15 years. No sign of recognition. They can't talk either. Absurdly expensive.

Customer unfriendly!! You are not even allowed to stand a little further from the counter to read the signs and then order. I was treated very unfriendly. Nasty guy here!

As we know, they have tasty snacks, but if you didn't feel like cooking, always visit Febo

Not too friendly staff. Prices are 30% higher than elsewhere. At Kwalitaria Reko, a few hundred meters away, it is nicer, more choice, much cheaper and the quality of the products is better.

Staff not very interested. But the milkshake is on par with that of McDonald's

Good fast food. Love there chicken nuggets. I often get a kroket or frikandel here. I recommend both. Putting either of them on some bread is great.

Lieferung ging schnell. Essen war lecker leider fehlte das was doppelt bestellt war. Die Pommes waren matschig. Dafür das es kurz vor Feierabend war ok.

Ging wel...patat te snel gebakken...vreemde zure smaak aan de ketchup...ik vind het geen aanrader

Veel te duur geworden , is diep triest , triest heid straalt er vanaf je zou het je hond nog niet geven ..febo tijd zit er op Is mooi geweest ...stop er mee ..!!

Het is gewoon een Febo franchise, dus de kwaliteit van het eten is wat je mag verwachten en gewoon goed. Helaas houdt het daar op. Ik heb het vermoeden dat het personeel geen zin heeft om hier te werken. Enkel het te betalen bedrag en "hier is uw bestelling" is wat er tegen mij gezegd is bij mijn bezoek. ls ze die bespaarde energie dan in het goed krijgen van je bestelling stoppen zou het top zijn, maar helaas ook niet het juiste gekregen (al gaat dit normaal wel goed). t is dat het loopafstand is en dat ik lui ben, anders hadden ze een klant minder ;).
