Filtro is a cozy place where you can get a well made coffee, surrounded by a nice decorations and people that are enjoying many of the beverages that serve here. I really enjoyed the Rose Espresso that I ordered! You can also grab something to eat along with your coffee though!

One of my go-to cafes to work or sit with friends. The staff is absolutely lovely and they have a good selection of drinks & food. Love their iced mocha ;) Would 100% recommend !

Recently ate at Filtro and it was delicious! I had the panini with brie, walnut and honey. The coffee is also very tasty! In addition to all the delicious food and drinks, the staff is also very friendly. I'll be back here!

Quite disappointing. Crockery that doesn't really look clean. Tomato mozzarella pesto sandwich. Pesto from a jar (shame!). And as a bonus, a piece of chicken from another dish stuck to my sandwich (see photo). Meh..

I waited half an hour for a completely average-tasting coffee, then another 15 minutes for a panini, with no apologies offered. The place is noisy, stuffy, damp and overpriced.

Visited on 31 Dec, and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the experience felt quite average overall. The cappuccino lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for, and the banana bread was overly sweet for my taste. Service was slower than expected, which might have been due to the holiday. It was an okay stop, but nothing particularly memorable.

Rubbish coffee, definitely not “specialty coffee”. The service wasn’t great either.

A place that'd probably label themselves not a café, but a "coffee experience" or some other empty term. Serves their coffees in mugs that have no handle but aren't double-walled either. So watch out not to burn your hands. The place is an open space but lacks any fabric on the walls and floor, so is incredibly noisy. Doesn't help that it succumbed to the open kitchen trend either. Keeps you competing with the noise level of their machines. But at least you can watch them prepare their 11,- sandwiches. Service took a long time, but that's understandable given the huge crowd present. Should probably get more staff and seclude the kitchen area. But that would cost some seats and thus go against the obvious primary goal at play here: cash. Alas: the coffee tasted great. Go here to stare at your laptop with noise cancelling headphones on.

The best spot for catching Up with friends. I had amazing time in Filtro. Everything from service to atmosphere and food was perfect. I had grilled bread with smashes avocado and it was delicious. They hlave also dome vegan options with i really appreciate.

The filter coffee is probably the wastewater from the machine's cleaning process. Worst mess. Cake bone dry and mini. Service falls asleep while working. It's better to bring plenty of time.

Very disappointed with today's experience. Coffee beans were burnt for both coffees. I hate to complain, but it was really not great. I asked politely if it's possible to remake and I got told "you can add more milk" and then they turned away and ignored me. It was really surprisingly rude as someone who is a regular customer.

On this cold Saturday afternoon, near the shops closing time, we walked past the steamy windows of this coffee bar. We wanted to have a nice cup of coffee after our early dinner. After entering we asked what time they were open until. Until 6 p.m., but then we still have to clean up, so you still have more than an hour to drink coffee, we were kindly told. Nice people and nice coffee. A piece of cake was also good to eat. Not cheap but cozy. Until next time!

We had to wait 40 minutes to get a coffee that wasn’t brewed well, our food order never reached the table. Terrible service, will not visit again

What a gem in The Hague! We came here on Christmas Day for a cup of coffee and something tasty, and what a wonderful experience it was. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and cozy, perfect for a cold winter day. The coffee was fantastic, clearly prepared with love, and the cake with it was a real treat. What really makes this place special is the hospitality. Despite the crowds on such a special day, we were warmly welcomed and it felt like we were coming home. Very lovely vibe cafe with some nice art on the walls and cozy decoration. Friendly warm welcoming staff. I had the grilled bread with smashed avocado (vegan) and latte macchiato with oat milk (side note: no cookie with the coffee). While waiting for my friend I ordered the same portion for her also, she has tomato allergy and the portion had tomato on it, there was no mention about it on the menu (I wish there would have been a list of the main ingredients). Therefore I am mentioning it just in case it's helpful for others. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. I think it would have been even better with the house kimchi extra that I didn't order (which I regret a little bit). Especially when there was no vegan mayo with the portion (the non vegan options seemed to have more sauces). At least there was no misleading information like in some other places that claim to have vegan mayo but when you order it is not available. Still I would be pleasantly surprised if a cafe did have vegan mayo, it would be thoughtful. Personally as an avocado bread fan I would have liked some slices of it on the plate, even though it had smashed avocado it was not much visible underneath the other ingredients. But I could see there was still a lot of thought put on the presentation and added spices so the bread was still highly on the plus side. Someone on a light diet would definitely be happy with this kind of portion. I would definitely recommend this place for people who like a cozy little gem of a place on a side street. Wasn't too busy or packed up like some of the bigger cafes. 5 vegan options on the menu and some gluten free cake.

I love this place and tend to go once every two weeks in the morning and work for an hour or two. The breakfast is 5/5. Coffee for me is 3.5/5, but only because I’m sort of a snob about coffee. Vibe is 4.5/5. Really like this place though and I’ll keep coming back!

Coffee is great, service is great, but the loud, bass heavy music make it a very claustrophobic experience.

I always get a panini, and it is so good! The service is really good especially when Vanesa and Viktoria works there! The chocolate cheesecake is a must have! Would recommend!

Perfect place and great coffee!

Took my family here who were visiting me from the UK. The staff were super helpful as we required vegan alternatives, they even suggested their cakes etc, very welcoming and really nice to have one or two options. The coffee tastes good and the tea was also delicious.

Place with coffee,tea and other beverages and being able to combine it with some nice food/sweets. It also has Greek Freddo Espresso, so if you are a fan of that, this is the place to be.

Mid-size caffe in the very center of the city. Can sit outside too. I preferred to take place inside, because November. Coffee is simply great! I took cappuccino medium. Sandwiches are very tasty and look gorgeous, if you can say it for food. The team is very friendly. I will come here again.

Me and my partner were looking for a breakfast/lunch place and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The service is incredibly helpful and lovely. Vibes inside were immaculate. Food was super fresh, salad bowl comes with an abundance of toppings!! Great place and can 1000% recommend

A cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying high-quality coffee. The tosties are delicious, and the beautiful garden offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.

Despite the good reviews, very disappointed by this case. It seems like more attention is spent on making everything Instagram worthy than on making good coffee. Although this is not mentioned anywhere on the menu, all drinks are available in 3 sizes, the price for a different size is also not stated. The “small” cortado was bitter and sour and honestly only the second time in my life that I would rather not have drunk a coffee. The “medium” cappuccino also had the bitter and sour aftertaste, which is strange considering the amount of milk it contained. The spoons we received with the coffee also showed stains and were not clean. The staff was also quite disinterested, possibly due to the crowds. To end on a positive note, the cups were very nice and the place looks nice.

Nice café with a small but fine selection of food and drinks. We had the toasted bread and a fresh smoothie. Both were very tasty and a good portion too!

Very friendly service. Cappuccino was great and I ate a nice grilled bread with chicken, mayo and a salad on top. They have a variety of grilled bread and panini with avocado, mozzarella, brie and more which all looked good.

As a coffee snob you will never find your new favorite coffee shop, but there you have it: found the best coffee place in The Hague. Truly incredibly refined and perfect coffees, from cappucino to specially made filter coffees. Also good sweets and delicious lunch dishes. What a discovery, and a nice one even though it was busy on a Saturday. ⚡

Excellent coffee, food, and service. It has filtered coffee, which is a rare thing to find here in the Netherlands. The flavor is fruity and lightly roasted. The panini is delicious. It has fresh ingredients. The pastel de nata is the best in the Hague.

I had a filter coffee and a cappuccino to choose from among 4 types of coffee, and they were all good. The atmosphere and location were great, so it was great for a break. I was particularly satisfied that the Wi-Fi was very fast.

We came to have a coffee and a quick bite. We chose a table close to the window inside, and were so amazed by the view of the idyllic backyard outside the window, that I couldn’t help but start to draw. Before I realised, an entire morning was spent there! Ps, the smashed avocado bread was delicious too!

This is a specialty drip coffee shop located in The Hague, Den Haag. We have a variety of coffee beans and a delicious brunch menu. The staff is very friendly and the coffee tastes very good. I highly recommend it if you are nearby.

Coffe is good, but it smells weird in the cafe. The prices are not worth it, coffee is watery. The atmosphere defers from the expectations. The cafe does not really match the photos as on Google Maps. Overall it is okay.

The smashed egg and truffle mayo bread was super tasty!

One of the loveliest cafes I came across when visiting Den Haag. They offer different types of coffee to your liking, the taste couldn't be any better. They also have a cozy garden at the back. Highly recommend if you love coffee or want to grab a bite to eat.

I was expecting a specialty coffee espresso. The surprise was when when I tried it I immediately noticed that it was commercial coffee. I asked what coffee they had served me and he showed me the package. I was told the specialty coffee was for filter only. The price was €3,95 for a commercial espresso. I felt cheated.

Mediocre coffee and really loud music. The staff were more interested in their own conversations than helping the customer. Would not recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place recently. While waiting patiently in line to check out, a man walked right in front of me and started placing his order with the staff. To my surprise, both the man and the staff completely ignored me as if I wasn’t even there. This obvious lack of respect for customers was incredibly frustrating and made me feel disrespected. Such rude behavior from both the customer and the staff is unacceptable and left a very bad impression. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place and wouldn’t go there again.

I've ordered filter coffee and carrot cake. Both were quiet tasty but I couldn't properly enjoy my coffee because of the dirty dishes. The carafe and the cup were very visibly dirty. When I touched the inside of the cup, there was residue stuck to my finger. I asked to replace my cup, and what? The next one was dirty too! Only the 3rd cup I've got was clean, because it was freshly washed on the spot. The staff acted like nothing wrong has occured. It made me wonder what else behind the counter might be dirty too. Wouldn't go there again nor recommend it to a friend.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The Service was incredibly nice. We felt very comfortable. We ate the Granola Bowl and the grilled bread, both we can definitly recommend. It is definitly worth a visit!

Filter coffee is watery (slightly unnatural, no aftertaste and aroma), cappuccino with coconut milk tastes more like coconut than coffee.

the best study cafe spot in my opinion in the hague also in a very nice and central location. internet also works really well, there are a lot of places to change your phone/ laptop and also small garden in the back. i would recommend:)

Freaking hot coffee. Average taste, but you literally can’t touch the cup for first few minutes.
