Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very bad. The service was much worse than I had expected. I ordered certain dishes, but received something different from what I had ordered. Moreover, I had to pay for something I hadn't ordered at all. Additionally, there were significant delays and little attention paid to the customers. Our table remained dirty for a long time, and no one came to clean it or look after us. Also, the attitude of some staff members was unfriendly and absolutely unprofessional. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. I had expected much more from this restaurant. I hope they improve the service and the way customers are treated soon.

Every time I come here, I always enjoy the food, the atmosphere is always good, and I get good help from Fatos.

I recently visited Florya Café in Amsterdam and overall had a good experience. The owner/manager was very friendly and welcoming — it really made you feel like a valued guest. Unfortunately, I had a less pleasant interaction with one of the staff members, who was quite unfriendly and unhelpful, which took away from the overall experience a bit. That said, I’d still recommend the café for its nice atmosphere and the great host.

Food is a 10/10. Extremely tasty! The servings might seem small but it’s actually a lot of food. The restaurant itself is beautiful, both inside and outside sitting. And I want to give a huge shoutout to Yusuf (I’m sorry if I’m misspelling the name) he was amazing! Very very kind and made the experience ten times better. Thank youuuu!

Yesterday was my birthday and we chose Florya as our venue. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy too. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mr. Malik, in particular, helped us out really well. 👍 I definitely recommend Florya to everyone! 👍👍👍👍

Decent Turkish spot near Amsterdam. Food was good, nothing special but enjoyable. Only issue: we asked what's in the mixed grill and how much of each meat, and staff said "it depends on the chef" — not exactly a professional answer for a restaurant.

Very disappointing customer service The food was okay, but the customer service really needs improvement. You basically have to go to the staff yourself if you want to order something or need anything, because they don’t seem to check on the customers. The staff seemed uninterested and didn’t really make us feel welcomed. A restaurant shouldn’t make customers feel like they have to chase the staff just to get basic service. Hopefully they can improve their customer service and pay more attention to their customers, because the experience could be much better.

A large, spacious Turkish restaurant located on a canal. The staff are extremely kind, attentive, and helpful, especially Elken.

The setting and view are beautiful. The waiters are friendly. The wait was long - the food was terrible. I ordered penne arabiata, it was like they'd poured leftover menemen from the morning, greasy and completely lacking in spice, the tomatoes and onions were raw and tender. We ordered mixed kebab on a tile, half of it was just zucchini. They described it as Antep-style ezme (a type of Turkish dip), but it had no spice, no flavor, just sour tomato juice. It was really unacceptable. We left the plates uneaten, but they didn't bother to ask why.

Food was not great. Service was not great. First brunch buffet I ever went to where you pay extra for water, and no coffee or tea either. Staff was borderline rude, would not repeat. Atmosphere is nice. On the water. Only thing this place has going for it.

We ordered a mixed grill platter and an Acılı Tavuk (grilled lamb chops) – what we received was incomplete food and disappointing excuses. Even before ordering, I asked if they could add an Adana kebab to the grill platter instead of the lamb chops. This was refused. When the platter arrived, the surprise came: there was a very small portion of meat, absolutely no salad, and no sign of an Adana kebab. When I inquired, I was told that they generally serve the grill platter without Adana. However, this is standard practice for a mixed grill platter – if the restaurant does things differently, they must inform the customer before ordering. The service was completely uninterested in my pointing this out. Unfortunately, the Acılı Tavuk was a similar story: the salad listed on the menu was also completely missing. When I asked, I was simply told that the menus had been changed and only the printed menus were still the old ones. However, the salad is listed on the printed menu, the website, and the digital QR code menu. The dishes were served incomplete, yet we were charged the full price. Unfortunately, the waiter seemed completely unsuited for his role. Such disinterested and rude treatment of guests is disappointing. Instead of checking on the tables, the staff stood huddled inside, solely occupied with the shisha customers. When it came time to pay, there wasn't even a proper farewell – the waiter simply gestured silently to pay inside. In short: overpriced, missing ingredients on the plates, and disappointing service. We won't be back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant for breakfast with our family and decided to give it a try. The welcome was friendly, and we were shown to a table. Unfortunately, this area was located in the most crowded and consequently noisy part of the restaurant. A relaxed breakfast atmosphere was hardly possible there. So we looked for a quieter spot and found a free table on the other side of the restaurant. Unfortunately, both the chairs and the sofa were visibly dirty, which didn't make a good impression. The breakfast buffet itself was okay. The selection was adequate, and it offered everything you would expect for breakfast. However, the way a simple request was handled was disappointing. Our young son was thirsty, so my wife wanted to get a glass of water. An employee explained that water was charged extra – which wasn't a problem for us in principle. However, we were then repeatedly asked which table we were sitting at and whether we would pay for the water immediately or at the end. This situation seemed unnecessarily complicated and not very welcoming. Overall, our first impression was mixed. A friendly welcome and a decent buffet are unfortunately not enough if cleanliness, atmosphere and the way guests are treated are not convincing.

The breakfast was very tasty. I just missed cream, kaymak, and honey. The soup was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Moreover, it is a beautiful and cozy place. Definitely recommended!

Regarding the food, we didn't order anything specific to give a full assessment of the restaurant. We ordered salmon, which was dry, but okay. I appreciated that they served it with potatoes and grilled vegetables. The bulgur was delicious, the fruit was excellent, and the restaurant was clean.

First of all, we came because it was supposed to be a Turkish restaurant, but as we saw, it wasn't. The tea was ice cold, the künefe was burnt on the bottom and tasteless, and the baklava burned our throats. I think you shouldn't be making desserts. If you're going to operate under the name of a Turkish restaurant, or if you want to, you have to be professional and delicious. The service was practically zero, but when it came to the bill, it was exorbitant. Customer satisfaction was zero. Even the staff had no respect for each other. There was loud talking and arguing among the customers. I don't even have a rating to give this place, sorry.

One of the best breakfast restaurants in Amsterdam. The open buffet, €18 per person, is diverse and offers many options to suit all tastes. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the place is very clean with a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and deserves five stars without a doubt. I recommend it to everyone visiting Amsterdam, and I will gladly return.

Today we came from Germany to Floraya Restaurant for breakfast. The atmosphere is very nice, the manager, Fatoş Abla, was very good, very helpful, and a very cheerful lady. The food was delicious, and the place was clean. I will definitely come again as soon as possible. We recommend it; anyone who comes here should find Fatoş Abla.

Lovely food. Waiters are tremendously rude and personally interested in my date. I went there with a girl, these waiters couldn’t stop hitting on her in front of me. One of them speaking Arabic with her as he was under the impression that I didn’t speak the language myself, asked for her number, commented negatively about my looks with her, he was all over us for the whole dinner. absolutely outrageous. Never going back ever again. I’m sooo disgusted.

The location is beautiful and the view is nice, but the service is absolutely terrible. The food arrived 30 minutes late and was cold to boot. I then waited 10 minutes for a staff member to come over so I could tell them the food was cold and not hot. Eventually, no one came; everyone working there acted like they were super busy and completely ignored the customers. In the end, I just got up with the food myself to say that it was freezing cold. When the plate came back for the second time, it was cold *again*! They didn't even apologize. The place is nice, but the service and the food are both a complete zero. And we paid €60 for it, too.

Yesterday, my family and I, four people in total, went to the buffet breakfast. To be honest, the breakfast menu didn't quite meet my expectations. We arrived around 11 am, and some breakfast items were already finished. We waited for them to refill them, and when we asked for more bread, they seemed to be putting out small amounts so that customers wouldn't take too much 😂. Actually, these aren't things to make a big deal out of, but when they all happen at once, it creates a nuisance. Now, to the main point. While eating breakfast, my wife found a hair in her food. I didn't make a big deal out of it, but I mentioned it so they would know. And what happened? Nothing. Instead of apologizing, they tried to close the matter by saying that this is a buffet and they've lost customers. There was absolutely no embarrassment, no apology, and they didn't even ask which menu item or which dish the hair was found in. They knew there was a hair in the food and continued serving it to the customer without touching it. I told this to two female employees there; one of them was named Fatoş. Would I go again? NEVER.

The layout of the seating areas within the establishment is unclear. We sat in a section where the waiter told us that smoking and the use of shisha were not permitted. However, after 9:00 PM, shisha was allowed in the same area, which caused confusion regarding the applicable rules. Therefore, we recommend placing clear signs and instructions indicating where shisha is and is not permitted. Additionally, I would like to mention that an employee named Malik left a less positive impression on us due to his manner of interacting with guests. In contrast, the restaurant manager was very helpful, professional, and customer-friendly, for which we offer our compliments. Overall, more clarity in communication and the layout of the spaces could prevent many misunderstandings and improve the guest experience.

I ate at Florya today. The food was delicious, the shisha was good, and the location by the water completes the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The staff spoke barely Dutch, Turkish, or good English, causing orders to be taken incorrectly and arguments to ensue. We also had to ask for drinks and tavla multiple times, but this took a very long time or never arrived at all. Additionally, tables were cleared late. That is a shame, because the restaurant has a lot of potential in terms of food and location. With better service, this would truly be a top-notch establishment where I would love to return more often.

Arrogant staff, and lamb chops and sweet potato fries are very mediocre. It is a nice location by the water though! Unfortunately, almost all guests are sitting outside smoking a hookah.

A woman greeted us at the entrance (I think she was the owner's daughter). She seated us at a table. Before we could even fill our plates, a young waiter moved us from that table to a less crowded one. He said there was a reservation there, the woman who seated us didn't know, and that we had to leave. To avoid spoiling our mood, we agreed and moved to the new table. A very long hair was found in one person's plate. The manager from the entrance came back to us. She said, with a pout, "That hair could be anyone's, it's a buffet, it's normal, sorry." Madam, we didn't ask you to tell us whose hair it was! As a business owner (especially in the food industry), you can't just say "sorry" half-heartedly to a customer who's having a problem! A proper apology, perhaps offering a coffee to make amends, would have prevented the customer from leaving cursing and ruined your peace of mind. It's unbelievable how people who don't understand communication can be business owners. The attitude was disgusting. I wish we had been understanding and not left that table, and that our reservation had been cancelled. Everyone deserves to be given the response they deserve.

This was recommended to us on the kings holiday and it was not a great experience. The restaurant was busy with family activities and therefore very noisy. The food was acceptable but very expensive for what we ordered.

The location is the only good thing. The service is terrible, we asked several times for assistance and we never had anyone come, it wasn’t busy, just very poor customer service. The customers are mainly men smoking shisha. The food was OK, but the breakfast buffet is not good at all. Be careful when paying your bill as they get it wrong and you can be overcharged if you are not careful. It’s a shame as the location on the water is nice, but the restaurant is not managed well at all.

The food was disappointing. Everything was served cold and it seemed as if it had been prepared long in advance. The menu stated that the meat was grilled over charcoal, but in reality, it tasted as if it had simply been reheated in the microwave. Certainly not what we had expected. Unfortunately, not recommended.

A Turkish restaurant located a 20-minute drive from the city center. The restaurant has a dedicated shisha section and a non-smoking area. Our order included hummus, shish tawook, and manti. Tea was complimentary. The waiter, Ayman, provided excellent service, and the food was absolutely delicious. The view is beautiful. I will definitely be back! ✨

The restaurant was a lovely, spacious, and beautiful space. I thought the vegetable stew I had was wonderful. My wife also had pasta, and she loved it. The service was fast, and we had dinner in a truly tranquil setting with a truly beautiful view. I'd like to thank the restaurant management for serving dinner in such a beautiful setting. The price was a normal standard.

The food was OK, nothing memorable. We ordered soup and drinks and a starter, and the drinks never came. The waiters were never around. One of the terraces is for shisha... Prices are quite high. Honestly, the food is flawless. It's a family-friendly place, perfect for tourists. They offer shisha, Turkish tea, and kunafa, and the prices are reasonable. Avoid places like Amsterdam's inner-city shisha cafes where Egyptians mix hashish. This is an excellent spot for families. The staff are friendly, especially the Syrian employees, Subhi and Nidal. I highly recommend it. For taxis, use the Bold app; it's the best way to get a taxi. Taxis are double the price!

Florya, a floating joint on the water in Amsterdam, is absolutely the latter. The meat didn’t just “fall apart.” No, it swan-dove into oblivion, breaking up gracefully in my mouth like it had been rehearsing its death scene for years. The sauce? Some family secret probably handed down in a dimly lit kitchen with everyone swearing loyalty oaths, maybe a knife on the table, no one making eye contact. The restaurant itself sways just enough to make you wonder: am I drunk? In love? Or just delirious from eating something so good my brain’s short-circuiting? It feels like eating on cloud nine — if cloud nine came with enough plates to feed a small army. There was so much food we actually had to take breaks. Real breaks. Picture me in the corner like a washed-up boxer: towel over the head, water bottle in hand, while the next course comes at me like Tyson in his prime. The service? Doesn’t matter. They spoke some English, but the real language was food — and they’re goddamn poets. Each bite a masterclass in comfort, hospitality, and the kind of generosity that makes borders feel imaginary. Traveling with my buddies, bouncing from city to city, you start to realize culture isn’t just in museums or postcards. It’s in the plates that land in front of you, in the way strangers insist you eat more, drink more, laugh more. Florya was all of that. The kind of meal that doesn’t just fill you up, but wrecks you beautifully, the way only great food in a strange city can.

Great atmosphere, great service. A quick note: there is no alcohol. I made a mistake I shouldn’t have and ordered one of the few non-Turkish options on the menu, the ribeye, which wasn’t good. The quality of the meat wasn’t great, but it was good. I asked for medium rare and got it well done, and it was a really slim cut. If you go to a Turkish place, order any of the available Turkish plates with weird Turkish names. I went with some colleagues, and they told me what they ordered was delicious. Sadly, even if the service was great, my experience with the food wasn’t good this time.

Very attentive staff, adequate food selection. Seating is available both inside and outside (the outdoor areas are covered). The food is delicious and suitable for a family breakfast. One drawback is the lingering hookah smell in the outdoor areas, though you get used to it.
