The chicken is excellent, the burgers are amazing and the fries are perfect even if they are a little expensive... but there's nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the products!

I visited food brothers whilst solo travelling in amsterdam, I went twice. This was due to the food being very nice and fresh, hospitality was second to none aswell. I can not rate this place any better, in a really nice location with good views also.

We cycled there yesterday and had a better burger than in our luxury hotel! Superb ingredients, perfectly prepared. We'll definitely go back on our next trip.

Came here because of the good reviews, but the burger I got was awful: overcooked and with an unpleasant "old meat" taste. The staff said the place had just reopened after being closed for six weeks, but even that doesn't explain such poor quality.

Was in the area and stumbled upon Food Brothers. Morad was immediately a very good host, friendly and patient. He seated us promptly and directed us to the menu. Turkish Cola was delicious, but man the food!! We got two grill burgers with cheese and an order of vlaamse friets. The double-fry was very crispy and flavorful, even the ketchup and mayo were tasty. The burgers are some of the best I’ve had in Amsterdam. Morad was short-staffed and did an excellent job with our food, even as the restaurant filled up during our time there. The burgers were cooked well and the toppings were very fresh! Thank you Morad for a really satisfying dinner by the Amstel River :)

Our two bicycles were leaning against a tree in front of this shop on Saturday and were apparently in the way. They were moved, but it was done so roughly that both bikes were damaged.

We arrived late, and the inside was full. There was some space outside, but it was a bit chilly to sit there. The person taking orders was rushing and came across as a bit rude, and the food took a long time to arrive. We tried the Mexican Grill beef burger with red cheddar and Mexican jalapeño mayo, as well as the Black Truffle Grilled Beef with Italian black truffle mayo. Both burgers were good—nicely priced for their size and taste, although they looked a bit unusual. We also tried a Turkish cola, which was nice. The regular fries were the disappointing part. They were quite hard, even though they seemed to be made from fresh potatoes. Some other people did not eat them at all. I had considered ordering loaded fries, but I am glad I did not, as the fries would have made the experience worse.

Ordered food for delivery. The burger and fries were good, but I'm only giving 2 stars because I paid full price for a Coca-Cola and received a knockoff Turkish cola instead. I used to work in the food industry, so I understand the pressure to keep food costs down, and you might save a few cents by using a cheaper alternative. But if a customer pays for Coca-Cola, they should receive Coca-Cola. If you want to substitute it with another brand, clearly mention it on the app or menu before people order. Sending a different product without informing the customer is simply disappointing.

The burgers were delicious, and considering the quality and the city, the price is very reasonable. The man who served us was incredibly friendly and even knew a few words of Spanish—he was the best. The best part is that it doesn't close at 10 pm like everything else in Amsterdam, so it's perfect for dinner.

Leaving a very honest review. As we arrived, the host was not friendly and looked liked he did not want to be there, we sat outside and the atmosphere was lovely, we did not wait long until he asked if we were ready, he was rude and remained unfriendly. Wait time for the food must have been approximately around 1 hour and 20 minutes which i did not mind as it was nice outside. He got one of the orders wrong but was apologetic and quick to fix the mistake which was nice but should not have happened in the first place. The burger was okay, not worth the 4.7 stars it had and I almost broke a tooth eating the fries. I would have rather ate paper(not joking) 3 stars for the burger 0 stars for the fries As a business owner i understand its hard meeting expectations and the negative comments make it harder, but if you arent cut out to run a business work at a retail store. Edit-Reponse to Owner. You claim the food is fresh and during busy periods it may take a while. There was 1 other table who arrived after us and no one else waiting. A 1+ hour wait when its quiet and there is no one else is unacceptable. The food did not taste fresh and the fries were definitely frozen. Looking at recent pictures from other reviews it looks like there is a clear divide between the cooks and table service during the day and night. Please be honest with yourselfs and look into this.

The best burger I've ever had. An excellent supply of so many different sauces, all of them delicious. Ketchup that tastes like tomato instead of processed sugar syrup. Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. For sure a must-visit in Amsterdam.

A special shout-out to the employee, who was very friendly, talkative, and attentive. The fries we ordered to share were fantastic. I ordered a chicken burger. One of the spices in it bothered me a little; I didn't like it very much. Otherwise, the bread, sauce, and toppings were very good. My wife had an Angus Burger. Since they didn't have Black Truffle sauce, the gentleman working there made it with a different sauce. The staff were very attentive and polite. They even brought the sauce beforehand for us to try.

Waiting for 42min(timed), asked them if the order is coming soon and they said "yes, yes". Next time they saw us looking at the phone and asked us if we're leaving a bad review, they said cancel the order and to come outside to discuss....I leave it to you to decide what it means

A treat for the eyes and the stomach! The burger was huge and the meat very juicy. On the recommendation of a staff member, I also ordered the sauces and they were very tasty too: truffle, spicy mayo, and a spicy red sauce. Definitely worth repeating.

Today, after a day in Amsterdam, we chose to end the day here, and what a good choice that turned out to be. The food was delicious! The burgers and fries were incredibly tasty. You can taste the quality immediately: from the delicious bun and fresh ingredients to the tender, flavorful meat. Allergies were also taken into account very well. Additionally, the owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful burger, the restaurant owner is a lovely guy too, seems very passionate about the food he prepares. All the vegetarian options were finished by the time we reached but he happily made a customised vegetarian burger for me which was yum, also have us some dips. Thanks guys

The fries are amazing and the burger is not too greasy, very tasty especially after a day on a boat in the summer!!! You just sit down and ask for you burger and taste. Wait times can vary on busy day.

The traditional beef burger with cheese was very very delicious. The meat was very tasty and soft. And we loved the bread! The fries were also incredible! Definitely recommend this place and will come back again to try the chicken burger!! Update: went back there again on a Friday evening, and once again the burgers were so so good. But do consider that it’s only two people running the place so it may take longer to get your food if it’s busy!

I can't tell anything about the food because we were told to wait outside for our order to be taken. There was one person working as far as we could tell, and he was very rough mannered. We waited 15 minutes to order and left because he kept telling us to wait more. I think they are not equipped to operate a restaurant, or provide friendly service.

In any case, it was overpriced and bad. Not to mention the credit card fees; I'm already giving it two stars to be polite.)

This was one of the worst experiece ever. We waited in an empty Restaurant for 1,5h for our food. The food looked good but was all in all just bad. The fries were ok... thats it. They forgot components of the burger, you have to pay for everything seperatly and the BBQ sauce was just Hot sauce. I dont get all the good Reviews...dont trust it - never been more disappointed in my life.

A burger doesn't can any better than this. It feels so clean and you can tell the ingredients are of high standard. Just as importantly, the french fries are top notch - hand cut, fresh, perfectly crispy and salty. It doesn't get better than this.

I have sampled a variety of items from their menu, including burgers, loaded fries, and chicken wings. Each dish has been fresh and flavorful. The other reviews are not exaggerating, this place is that good. I had the Hot Java burger, with fries, and it was honestly among the best burgers I've ever had. The beef patty was perfectly grilled, the sauce was delicious with a bit of spicy kick to it, and the fries were wonderful and crispy. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant whenever you have a burger craving.

The best meal we had in AMS, and definitely one the best Burger we've ever had! Although you need to get a bit outside city centre, it's worth it! Amazing and definitely going to eat again here if we'll revisit AMS.

I had an amazing experience at this burger spot in Amsterdam. The food was incredibly fresh, super tasty, and honestly just brilliant. You can really tell that everything is made with quality ingredients. The burger was juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly prepared, and the overall taste was outstanding. It’s the kind of place where you take the first bite and immediately know you picked the right restaurant. Also it is Halal, so Perfect for our Muslim Brothers and Sisters. The atmosphere was great as well, making it a perfect place to stop for a relaxed and satisfying meal. If you’re in Amsterdam and craving a really good burger, this place is definitely worth visiting.

A very strange atmosphere. Two brothers were being vicious towards each other. One of them was also being aggressive towards customers. A customer asked the two brothers and another customer if they were triplets, to which one replied, "Have you had too much to drink?" The customer walked away sadly. The tension was palpable afterward. You have to wait at least 30-45 minutes for two burgers. Two burgers and fries for around €35 ​​weren't particularly special either.

This is definitely a place you should choose when it comes to halal-friendly options. The service quality is excellent, and the burgers are delicious and definitely worth trying 🌟 I will definitely be choosing this place on my next visit to Amsterdam 🙂

On a friend's recommendation, I went here for the first time. I live in Utrecht myself, so I honestly thought: I really hope this is worth it. When I walked in, I initially thought: okay, standard place. But that feeling was instantly gone. We sat down and got some great advice from the staff. I left the choice entirely up to them — and phew… what a burger. Deliciously juicy meat, perfectly prepared, and so full of flavor. The combination of the meat and the various sauces is truly next level. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. I can tell you one thing: it's more than worth driving from Utrecht to Amsterdam to eat here. I've been here several times now, and every time I think: how can this place stay this good? I recently got a burger and fries from Food Brothers in Amsterdam, and everything was truly perfect. The burger was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. The fries were nice and crispy. What makes this place extra special to me is that the food is completely halal and the atmosphere feels very pleasant. Instead of music, Quran recitation was played, which created a sense of calm and a lovely ambiance. You don't see that often, and it is absolutely appreciated. Additionally, the service was excellent: friendly, fast, and professional. You feel welcome here immediately. In short: delicious food, top-notch service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended, and I would love to come back.
