The burger was truly next level. It's a bit more expensive than your average burger joint, but definitely worth it. Everything is halal and no boycotts 🍉. Hats off to these guys.

Stopped by at 11:20pm. Everything off, two people chatting around. When I wanted to go in, got a strange response. Why so aggressive? No need to be unkind. Ended up picking up food from Eerste Oosterpark.

The BEST loaded fries I’ve ever had. The chicken loaded fries were unbelievably good. The burger was also super good but the fries were the star of the show. Best meal we’ve had in weeks.

A smaller establishment, but really worth a visit. Very nice owners, friendly atmosphere. Burgers were delicious and original, perfectly seasoned. Fries were also not bad. Highly recommended.

Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The ingredients are top quality, the flavor is amazing, and the cooking is just perfect. Go there with your eyes closed, you’re paying for real quality!

Average burger, but okay. Fries are not included in the burger price. So, about €20 per person. Note that the fries are homemade and in a large quantity (one fry is enough for two people in my opinion). Quick service.

We went there based on the reviews and placed our order, but we waited for about an hour. Unfortunately, the burger wasn’t as good as we expected. In addition, the staff member was tense and rude, so overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience for us..

The food was amazing. The Spicy and Traditional Burgers were a 10, and the fries were a very decent amount. The meat was Halal, and there were plenty of options, including vegetarian options. 2 burgers + 1 fries + 2 drinks: €43

I visited Food Brothers on 16/08/2025 at around 10 PM. I ordered the €26 Dutch XL Grill Beef with an additional €5.50 fries. To begin with, the food itself was a disappointment: the burger was served without even asking how I wanted it cooked, and what arrived was a dry patty lacking in tenderness and juiciness. For a dish marketed as Black Angus and priced at €26, this was unacceptable and felt like pure overcharging. But what truly shocked me was what happened when it came time to pay. Hidden away on a small plaque, the restaurant declares that it charges a €1.75 fee for card payments with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. This is blatantly illegal under European and Dutch law. Under Directive (EU) 2015/2366 – the Revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), Article 62(4), EU member states must prohibit merchants from charging consumers extra for the use of payment cards regulated under Regulation (EU) 2015/751. This covers all consumer debit and credit cards issued in the EEA, including Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, and Maestro. The Netherlands has implemented this directly in its national law under Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) 7:517. When I confronted the staff, the worker immediately claimed that “Visa Debit is not covered, only Maestro is” and that “the business has to pay extra fees.” This excuse is both misleading and false, as the law is crystal clear, and business costs cannot be shifted illegally to the consumer. His defensive tone and quick response made it obvious that this wasn’t the first time a customer had raised the issue. To make matters worse, the surcharge was not even listed on the receipt. Instead, the worker manually calculated it and entered it into the payment terminal so that the receipt would not show the illegal fee. This is a deliberate attempt to conceal the violation and make it harder for customers to report. This restaurant is not only serving overpriced, mediocre food, but is also knowingly and systematically breaking both Dutch and European law. The surcharge on card payments is strictly prohibited, and their method of hiding it from receipts shows clear awareness that they are acting illegally. In sum, avoid Food Brothers unless you enjoy paying high prices for average burgers and supporting businesses that openly disregard consumer protection laws in the Netherlands and the European Union.

The place is nice and cozy, and the food hits HARD. One of the best burgers of my life (and probably the best fries actually). The owners are fantastic.

In a quiet place there is one of the best restaurants in Amesterdam ! I tried this because of the high rating I found it worths more 😍 The meat is super delicious and Halal ! They take care about details, sauce additions! The staff is very kind and smily Highly recommended

Wow this place is awful. I haven't been so disappointed in a very long time. We came in late and were sat at a table and after waiting around 15 minutes our order was taken. Maybe a half hour later our burgers arrived and they were just terrible, tasted like something out of the frozen aisle. The man asked us if we wanted fries, and we didn't realize it was €5.50 per portion, not included with the nearly €20 burger. The fries were also borderline inedible as they were soggy and greasy. Anywhere else is better, stay away.

The food and service here are always top-notch! It seems like it's gotten a little better every time (if that's even possible). Food Brothers has taken fast food to the next level. The burgers, fries, and chicken are top-notch. The value for money is unparalleled compared to other fast-food restaurants. The portions are huge, perfect for sharing. And we haven't even mentioned the taste... so good! I ordered the loaded chicken fries yesterday, highly recommended for movie night. Tip! Sometimes I order extra chicken tenders, which I use the next day to make a Cesarean salad 😋. In short, if you don't like this... it's really your fault.

Food was very tasty, however we waited over an hour for food when the restaurant was empty. Burger and sides came to us separately so we’d finished the burgers by the time the fries arrived. It was also difficult to pay. 3 stars.

Amazing. We had this on the list for a long time, and it was well worth it. My husband and I really enjoyed the burgers and fries, definitely fresh ingredients and everything cooked and most importantly seasoned to perfection. They have absolutely delicious burgers, real meat and NOT frozen! I really enjoyed the beef burger; I almost ate my fingers dry. The place is also very halal-friendly. I was very happy with it. I'd say give this place a try; you'll definitely agree with me.

Had chicken wings for my dinner. They were really good. Super crispy and juicy. Dogs may not enter the restaurant. But there are seats at the pedestrian area, where people can enjoy the food and let their furry friend stay under the table.

I had a burger in this venue and my experiences , in terms of service and friendliness of staffs, was awful. I have waited somebody to give my order roughly 10-15 mins and 30 mins to get my meal. And people did not seem to be very friendly.

Overrrated and overpriced. Burgers were good - not amazing. Waited so long - over 30 minutes for a to go order of six burgers and two orders of fries. Four of the burgers were identical and nothing off menu. Got them home 10 minutes walk away, at nearly midnight, to discover cheese on the burger that wasn’t supposed to have it and no tomatoes on any of the five that should have had it. At that point it was so late and we’d waited so long that we didn’t go back, but for 100 Euros I absolutely expected more.

Truly excellent late-night comfort food. They've kept me well fed for a year now. Everything is delicious, so it's impossible to choose wrong. To start: super tasty food. The spicy beef burger was super tasty and tender! Not to forget the farmer's fries where you can really tell that time has been put into them. Furthermore, the sauces, specifically the 'Mexican-jalapeno mayo', are extremely tasty. All in all, a great experience and definitely worth repeating. Ps: the staff was super attentive and the time it took to get our food served could be counted on two hands in minutes.

Amazing burgers! The food brothers have yet to disappoint me! This has been my 4th time, and it's definitely not my last. Oh and by the way, I only gave 5 stars for ambience so the overall rating would be 5 stars. It's clean to the spot but a 3 at best, but if you care about that you don't care about burgers. I'd eat those burgers in the middle of a dumpster fighting off the mutant rats while munching down that tasty delicious smoked BBQ beef burger. Totally worth it. No go and get that burger. I was excited to visit this restaurant, as they are Halal and we were hungry after a 6 hour drive from Hamburg to Dam. When we got there it was packed because of lack of seats, they did have outside seating but it was freezing. The young brother was good, hardworking and you can tell he was trying his best to accommodate and tried to get us a seat as soon as possible. The downside was the other older brother who said to his younger brother we have to pay first, I found that a little disrespectful especially as the large group who were seated were paying after their meal. The food itself was good, my fried chicken burger was decent, chips were ok but love their selection of drinks. I would go back but I hope the service improves in sha Allah
