Foodbar Zilvr in Centrum

What a lovely restaurant! Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service. The beef and Guinness pie, but also the stuffed eggplant… so delicious! A real asset to Wageningen.

We ate here for the first time on Friday evening, April 11. Nice restaurant with historical history of the building. Also nice to read that on the website. The food was very good, service friendly. But a side note. Unfortunately we were given a full tray of wine and glass, which of course can happen, but it would have been customer friendly if, for example, had given a drink in compensation.

Very good food (both meat and fish as well as vegetarian options) nice atmosphere and personal service. Great value for money! Be sure to visit!

The food at Zilvr was absolutely delicious! And the service is excellent! It is a charming restaurant, not large, but few tables occupied. Feel free to eat here because otherwise you will really miss a nice and tasty place to eat! Ordered different dishes and different wines. Downright GOOD!

Stingy portion on the garlic prawns. Did not have plain piece of bread to soak up tappas sauce. Staff could use personality transplants.. on the other hand the aubergine, polenta and octopus were 😋

The food was mediocre. The service was a bit less than stellar. Inexperience seems to be the issue. The atmosphere was mediocre due to the very few visitors on a Saturday evening. The ambiance was quite good.

Gezellig tentje met veel leuke veg gerechten- aanrader om ergens te gaan eten in Wageningen. Er zijn meer van dit soort restaurantjes nodig.

Geen aanrader! De amuse was veelbelovend, de vissoep als voorgerecht was ook lekker, maar ging vergezeld van een nog half bevroren stokbroodje. Vervolgens hebben we ongeveer anderhalf uur (!) moeten wachten op het hoofdgerecht, terwijl de zaak niet vol zat en mensen om ons heen wel eerder eten kregen. Het hoofdgerecht was zeer matig van kwaliteit: kip en gevulde paprika die ik zelf thuis ook had kunnen maken. Kortom: de prijs niet waard.

Great that Zilvr is open again! Delicious food!! Compliments to the chef. Good flavors, many vegetarian options and pleasant shared dining. We will definitely come back!

Excellent experience at Foodbar Zilvr! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The menu offers a lot of choice, even for vegetarians because half the menu is vegetarian. Definitely recommended for a wonderful evening out!

Vol lof over dit gezellig restaurant. We kregen een voorafje als welkom, het zag er zo mooi uit dat het bijna zonde was om het op te eten. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening meer dan prettig. De achtergrond muziek was qua volume ook echt achtergrond. Kortom een aanrader.

Atmospheric, the layout of the tables provides plenty of space for privacy. Friendly staff and tasty food. Nice to be surprised with the multi-course menu. The reasonable surcharge for side dishes should be mentioned.

We had Zilvr's dishes delivered to our home tonight (vegetarian menu) and enjoyed it immensely. Delicious food, nicely packaged, can be 'prepared' at home with little effort, delivered on time. Surprisingly good!

Delicious homemade vegetarian gnocchi. Everything was ready at the agreed time. Surprising little treats with the main meal! Furthermore, attention was also paid to as much recyclable packaging as possible, really great. Food was relatively salty, but that's really the only thing to note. Price/quality ratio very good. We will definitely come back!

Ordered a Zilvr box for Saturday evening at home and it was excellent! Highly recommended!

Intimate, homely, personal, tasty, high-quality, well-groomed, friendly, surprising, delicious... It is clear, a wonderful asset for Wageningen.

The food is super good. Certainly the idea behind it. Choice of different courses in a surprise menu. Only the price is also a surprise. With a full-fledged 3-course menu, I expect fries or potatoes to be included and that no additional charge of € 4.00 is charged, in fact you get 1 container for 4 people, the same container as for two people, so we ordered a container. you can pay €8.00. Then the dessert was very tasty, but on the list there was an option for an additional cost, which was not mentioned to take a cheese board. Later we see an extra €4.50 on the receipt. We also thought that was on the high side. Perhaps better to mention all prices in advance.

I've eaten here a few times now and it's been more than excellent every time! Nice building. Beautiful dishes. Recommended!

Delicious food and enjoyed the cozy environment. We had a surprise menu and we were certainly surprised. Really enjoy. The cook was great but we would like to give an extra compliment to Helena. What an asset that is, she served on her own (with occasional help from the cook) and stood behind the bar and had a really admirable chat for everyone, what a hostess. The planning was also good, even though there were only the 2 of them, they had everything under control. Looking forward to next time. Gr. Ab and Heleen Nab.

The snacks are very tasty and so are the wines (although pricey), but afterwards you have the feeling that you have missed something. Too few vegetables and overall no "meal balance". This is the case with comparable "Drinks & Bites". The room is attractive and the front path is very nicely painted.

Here you can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Two real professionals gave us a wonderful evening. Surprising combinations of ingredients ensure delicious rounds. The sommelier served delicious wines as icing on the cake. Surprisingly good dessert: not too sweet or too heavy, but just as well balanced as the other courses. Recommended!

Food isn't feed, and Zilvr deserves Gold. If you are like us, you've seen this restaurant for a while, walked by and keep telling yourself, I should go. So we finally did. It was during the week of the heatwave and the lovely hostess greeted us with a gazpacho of watermelon! Perfect start! Everything else was a highlight in its own right: the Salmon was to die for! Do enjoy Zilvr, one of the better establishments in Wageningen.

Dover sole.........a beautiful fish with a delicate taste and therefore one of my favorite dishes. Zilvr does not have it on the menu as standard, but a colleague was considerate enough to have sole served in advance in consultation with the chef. Perfectly baked (light brown) with a beautiful presentation as a starter!! and that is not self-evident in my experience. The other dishes were also very successful, a beautiful tender ribeye as a main course, a nice fresh salad as the first starter and beautiful cheeses for dessert. Excellent accompanying wines. Absolutely great.

Nice, attractive decor, good and fast service, delicious food. Good place to have a drink with small dishes, or to taste several dishes in detail. All dietary requirements/allergens are taken into account.
