Fries shop 't Bakhuus in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

The potato I was given was medium size. I asked for 4, but he filled 2 of them as much as the small size. The other two are not even as small as in the picture. He doesn't care as much as before.

TW: rip-off i came to this place with my mother to get food.. there was a sign outside with “frikandel, chips bag + mayo” for €5.50. So I said 2 frikandellen, 2 chips bags, one with mayo and the other not.. in the end they didn’t give me that deal at all. So I also got 2 milkshakes and that ended up being 20 euros together. My mother and I sat down and then they said those milkshakes were not possible/available. So then we were allowed to drink instead of those shakes. I asked “how come I paid 20 euros for that drink because those milkshakes were €4 and the drink was cheaper… And I asked about that deal. Then she said “well then next time you should mention that deal and not the order separately?” She didn't even answer the drink thing, real bullshit. Instead of just closing the deal she said that and I could whistle for the money from those milkshakes. next time I'm going to put flyers with "shit shop" written on them on your door. With poop on it, because you didn't have any satay sauce... it also smelled like sweat...

Tasty fries and good sauces. Snacks also fine. In short, a good snack bar!

After placing a take-away order (1x large fries, 1x small fries, 1x croquette, 1x frikandel, 1x frikandel special) it took quite some time before my number (54) was called. It was busy, so that was to be expected. However, what I received was one cone of fries and not the order I placed. After pointing this fact out to the employee, it took another 10 minutes before my number was called again. This time a bag with the order…. I thought. When we got home, it turned out that there was no frikandel present and the cone with previously received fries was at the bottom of the bag. To make matters worse, everything was almost cold again. I live in the center about three minutes away from the store, so the chance of it getting cold during that time seems negligible to me. So I called the shop to report the lack of the frikandel. After I reported the lack of this snack to the person on the other end of the line, it became quiet on the other end and the connection was disconnected. You understand that we will place our orders elsewhere in the future.

Delicious fries for a decent price.

Really mega delicious. I didn't know what to expect from the Italian frikandel, but boy, was it delicious! The staff is also super friendly. Highly recommended!

Excellent fries and lots of choice. Very cramped to eat with several people.

If my favorite snack bar is closed, I go to this one. Good option, food is great, but nowadays an order takes quite a long time to receive. I have tried several times, but now it is standard to wait 20 minutes, previously this was not the case. I have no idea what's different, but it's not recommended if you just want to get something quick to combat hunger, I can watch my order until it has cooled down before I finally get it handed over.

Dutch feeling, order outside, possibly go inside to eat, but mind you, limited space. 4 seats at the window, cozy. Vegetarian frikandel was very tasty.

The order did not arrive until after 1.5 hours. Was cold & did not think about a solution at all by telephone.

'Standard cone, if you want a container please let us know'. If I get a container, even though I specifically indicate that I want it done, I have to walk through the city with a container and a bag with half of the fries loose in the bag. #to compress

Vegan curry fries did not have curry sauce. Instead a tiny amount of mayo was put on it. It did not look anything like the picture and tasted very underwhelming

Disappointing compared to the reviews here. Satay was dry and cabbage not created, in my opinion cabbage had no added value whatsoever.

The variety of typical Dutch snacks is impressive and everything tastes fantastic! The staff is friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The fair prices are particularly positive, as they are really impressive given the good quality. The central location right next to the large church makes it perfect for a refreshment while strolling through the city. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, their fries and stew are spicy (my partner can't eat that) There was also a hair in my girlfriend's stew.

Bizarre waiting time on Saturday. Waiting 20 minutes for 1 frikandel when it is not busy. Good food but really not worth the wait. Staff unable to process orders efficiently.

Delicious loaded fries! The fries taste traditional and the topping is perfect. The frikandel from our own kitchen with its own sauce is also recommended or blue mayonnaise. Fortunately, they now also deliver in the Aalanden again. Service is now also 5 stars 🤩

We thought we'd better get some fries. After 5 minutes the frikandels were put in the containers and the sauce was poured over them, so we thought it was ready. In the meantime, the staff, a bunch of girls, are always talking/chatting with each other and only later did they think of putting the fries in the fat and we had to wait even longer. All in all it took 20 minutes. The frikandellen special were completely cold and they were not even cut, the sauce was just poured over them, which makes it annoying and not tasty to eat, strange. The fries had burnt bits all over them and the rest was soggy. We ate a few bites of it and threw the rest away because it wasn't tasty. Because of the long wait we were in a hurry to catch the train. We haven't had time to say anything about it. Well, a snapshot can happen, but an hour later it makes us feel nauseous and that is simply unacceptable. That's because we ate that stuffy junk, because those toddlers just don't know how to make fries. We do not need any apologies or money back and if it is better next time, I will adjust the review upwards, but we think it is especially important that the manager/manager is aware of this and does something about it. The food made us feel nauseous and that's just not possible.

Oh, what bad fries. Twice-fried small pieces that you can't pierce with a fork to fish them out of the cone. Rarely bad 😩

The fries are good, but lack of a sauce pocket in the fries bag ruin the experience. Had to throw out a big portion of my fries because everything on the top was drowned in sauce. It's such an easy change to introduce!

This used to be a top tier fries shop, but it's gone downhill over the years. Especially the interior, blasting loud music and generally filthy isn't giving the dining experience anything extra.

Lekker patatje, zeker de moeite waard

Sehr gute Pommes mit leckerem Pulled Chicken zu einem super fairen Preis. Gerne wieder und weiter so!

Helaas was mijn "vaste" snackbar zonder aankondiging gesloten dus ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een alternatief. Via Thuisbezorgd kwam ik hier uit. Het kon wel even duren (18.47 werd mij gezegd in de mail) maar dat kan je verwachten als je om 17.45 gaat bestellen op zaterdagavond. Tot mijn grote verbazing stond de bezorger voor 18.30 al op de stoep. En het was ontzettend lekker! Deze frietwinkel heeft er zéker een klant bij. Ruime porties en alles verpakt in karton/papier. Kortom, een fantastische zaak!

Als ik er langs loop stop ik graag en vaak even voor 2 lekkere zelfgemaakte frikandellen met saus. Helemaal top. En dan bestel je een keer.... Krijg ik 2 gewone frikandellen in saus maar geen zelfgemaakte. Te vies om te eten dus weggegooid. Werkelijk zo jammer. Ook de berehap was niet wat ik gewend ben, maar dat was al wel poosje geleden dat ik die gekocht had. Satesaus net water. Snap het niet waarom anders maar wel opgegeten. Uiteindelijk niet tevreden.

Opzicht een prima tentje, de frietjes waren best wel lekker maar helaas was de kroket echt matig, het smaakte oud en was niet erg vleesrijk, als die kroket verbeterd kan worden dan heb ik niks meer om over te klagen, al in al een prima tentje waar je snel iets te eten kan halen!

Super leckere Pommes. Frisch zubereitet und mit ein wenig Salz verfeinert. Dazu eine Frikandel und oben drauf Majo. Genau mein Geschmack. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Zwolle bin ich wieder bei euch.

Nadat de bestelling niet helemaal goed was gegaan, hebben we een nieuwe portie gekregen inclusief 2 gratis drankjes. Top service!

The "frikandel" is one of the quintessential Dutch fried snacks. It's usually served with onions, curry sauce and mayonaise, but these guys managed to level up the snack! I tried their "asian" take on this typical Dutch snack and it blew me away! Never thought this weird meat stick was suited for this much creativity, but the flavours they added were just amazingly complimentary. Also, the fries were perfectly baked and jacked, paired with a very tasty mayonaise. Woudl definitely go here again if I ever find myself in Zwolle again

De frietjes waren goed knapperig maar zoutloos. De mayonnaise was zoetig in plaats van zoutig, niet zo lekker. Wel wat zout gevraagd en eroverheen gedaan.

Wegen diese Frittenbude wollen meine Kinder unbedingt noch einmal nach Zwolle.

Bestelde een frietje truffelolie: mijn teleurstelling was onmeetbaar en mijn dag was geruïneerd. De rest is echter fantastisch. Zeer goede specials en eigenlijk allemaal aan te raden. Behalve truffelolie dus, dat is een patatje mayo met een druppel geurolie wat je ophyped voor die lekkere truffelsmaak om je vervolgens helemaal onderuit te halen met smakeloze gebakken lucht over de patat.

Goede kwaliteit, lekker maar.... bestel je maar voor 1 persoon dan moet je geduld hebben... mensen die als koppel komen gaan voor! Wel jammer maar is me beide keren dat ik kwam overkomen.
