It's so lovely here. The service was wonderful, friendly, and attentive, and the pancakes and waffles were delicious. You can sit both outside and inside, although the tables are a bit closer together inside. Our dog was allowed in the restaurant.

I went there for dessert the icecream was really good they were also really nice and they even agreed to let me in before 5 mins of closing time but the problem is the price 3.20 euros for one scoope of ice cream is really expensive.

What has already been shared frequently is 100% true: the very nice, authentic pancake restaurant is truly in the fantastic town of Hindelopen. Even though you might think it's just a village, nothing could be further from the truth; it actually has city rights and is a protected townscape, and rightly so. What a beautiful place on the IJsselmeer! For anyone who hasn't been here yet, it is more than worth the visit. As for the pancake house, it is located next to the skating museum; here you will find everything related to all the winners of the Frisian Eleven Cities Tour and the paintings for which Hindelopen has become famous. If you are in the area, combine these two activities and you won't regret it.

I've really eaten the best pancakes here; numbers 42 and 45 are definitely recommended.

After waiting half an hour for the order to be taken, while the people across from us who were late were enjoying their soup, we just left. We had a nice meal with plate service at a cafeteria somewhere. It turned out to be a nice wedding day after all. If it's that busy, couldn't you just work with a QR code?

A very Frisian restaurant, attached to the Ice Skating Museum. However, you can also visit the restaurant without visiting the museum. The specialty is pancakes, both sweet and savory, but other dishes are also available. You have a direct view into the kitchen, which appeared very tidy.

Visited today. The food is okay, nothing special. But every table has dogs. Some of which really don't smell right. We found this address online. It doesn't mention this there. So this was an unpleasant surprise. We asked for a different table. But they didn't look for a solution and put the blame on us. Apparently, there is a sign at the entrance saying dogs are welcome, but if you call or enter through the shop, you can't know this, and certainly not the large number of dogs. Absolutely no service.

Everything was great: the bike ride there, the location, the harbor, the food, the staff.

We ate pancakes and filled panini there. Both were delicious. The service was friendly, kind, and helpful. There's also a nice outdoor seating area. A lovely restaurant. Next door there's a shop where you can buy typical Dutch souvenirs. All in all, a great experience. If we're ever in Hindeloppen again, we'll definitely come back.

Nostalgic pancake restaurant right next to the Skating Museum. The location is beautiful, in such an old historic building. Nicely decorated; it feels like you are on a ship. The chairs are quite hard, though. You can sit both inside and outside. The pancakes were large, generously topped, and tasted delicious. Our desserts were also excellent and nicely made (ice cream shaped like a boat). The service was also fine. Friendly and welcoming. Excellent restaurant for eating pancakes or just having a drink if you are visiting Hindeloopen.

The most delicious pancake I've ever eaten, bacon and banana...heavenly! The Hylper Omelet is also highly recommended. Once you've finished eating, there's a lovely shop, the First Frisian Skating Museum, and of course, picturesque Hylpen.
