Great location, small terrace right on the canal, also very cozy inside. We ate savory pancakes... soooo delicious 😋. What arrived at the neighboring tables also looked very tasty.

On our first short holiday of this year 2025 we are in the north of the Netherlands. We visited several small towns and on our fourth day we visited Hindeloopen. Without a doubt 😍 we find this restaurant 100% percent recommendable. We will definitely come back 👌🤤😜😍

The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are also completely sufficient. The staff is very friendly and child-friendly. There is a play area for children and a small farewell gift. The restaurant is very rustic and is reminiscent of the history of ice skating.

Heerlijke pannenkoeken in een knus restaurantje in de binnenstad van Hindeloopen. We zaten binnen omdat het weer te slecht was voor het terras aan het watertje.

The tastiest pancake eaten bacon/banana....heavenly! The Hylper Omelet is also highly recommended. Once you have finished eating, there is a beautiful shop, the First Frisian Skating Museum and of course the picturesque Hylpen.

An entire tray of drinks spilled on my lap, which I was entirely reasonable about and went to wash up, on my return, to be told it was because I had taken a drink from the tray,thereby destabilizing it, which wasn’t true!! The owner let me know that I need to refrain from touching serving trays in all restaurants in the future. No apology. We left, shame, because it looked nice in there 😟

After the beautiful museum - amazing how versatile and interesting ice skates can be - head to the Pannenkoekhuis for refreshment. Nice and friendly service. And an absolutely great pannenkoek “Hindeloooen” with fresh salad! Simply recommended.

Prachtig idyllisch plekje aan het water. Waarbij je ook zou denken aan heerlijk vers gebak maar niets is minder waar. Kant en klaar. Hopelijk passen ze dit nog aan. Pannenkoeken, bitterballen waren wel goed. Mogen nog wat vega opties aan toe worden gevoegd.

Lovingly designed, both indoors and outdoors. Staff very friendly and attentive. All dishes are very attractively prepared, of high quality and extremely tasty. Definitely include it when visiting Hindeloopen!

Wat een fijne plek! Mooi aan het water, personeel is super aardig en vrolijk, eten is heerlijk! Een aanrader voor iedereen! Veel keus op het menu. Enige verbeterpunt: van mij mag er meer vegetarisch op het menu. Verder fantastisch, we voelden ons thuis.

Na een bezoek aan het museum heerlijk pannenkoeken gegeten. We hadden de dag er voor gereserveerd en toen was het regenachtig. Bij aankomst hadden ze een tafel buiten en een tafel binnen gereserveerd omdat het inmiddels weer mooi weer was. Goede service en aardige bediening. De pannenkoeken waren heerlijk! En voor 5 personen super snel geserveerd.

Wir waren heute zu Besuch im Friese doorloper. Die außenterrasse war sehr schön. Essen super lecker , die Bedienung war sehr sehr freundlich! Ganz toll fanden wir, dass das Restaurant so kinderfreundlich war. Es gibt eine tolle Spielecke für Kids und beim verlassen sogar noch ein kleines Geschenk! Alles in allem sind wir top zufrieden und kommen sicherlich wieder

Waren am frühen Nachmittag dort, um uns eine Kleinigkeit zu „gönnen“😎 Meine Frau hatte einen Pfannkuchen mit Kirschen und Sahne - für mich gab es die herzhafte Variante, mit Bacon & Käse 🤤 Preislich kein Schnapper, aber hier muss man natürlich bedenken, dass derzeit Saison in einem Touristengebiet ist und meine „Kleinigkeit“ sehr lecker und doch etwas mehr, als nur eine Kleinigkeit war. Wir fanden‘s gut und meinen, dass man sich das gönnen sollte 👍

Leuke plek waar je voor een eerlijke prijs een heerlijke pannenkoek kunt eten! Geen 'haute cuisine', maar wel een pannenkoek zoals je oma hem vroeger maakte! 😃 Een aanrader is pannenkoek met spek en banaan, staat niet op de kaart, maar ze maken hem heerlijk! Uiteraard zeer geschikt voor kids, maar ook als ouder kom je dus niets te kort!

Heerlijke, grote pannenkoeken. Het interieur is antiek, maar ook smoezelig. Ik snap de nostalgie, maar mis de verzorging en een stukje onderhoud. Aardige bediening!

Dieses Maritime Restaurant bietet eine große Auswahl an Pfannkuchen, Omelett, strammer Max, Panini, Waffeln, Kuchen und einigem mehr. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren in den 2 Wochen Urlaub 3x mal dort. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Vielen Dank für die gute Bewirtung.

Leuke ouderwetse inrichting. Toen wij er waren (het was rustig) was onze bestelling er heel snel. Grote en heerlijke pannenkoeken.

Typisch holländische Pfannkuchen - pikant oder süß- große Auswahl. Nettes Ambiente, egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Empfehlenswert!

Rutmer ist ein guter Arbeiter. Dem jungen Mann erkennt man die Bemühung während des ganzen Besuches an.

Sehr hübsches Ambiente, sehr freundlicher Service und supergroße Auswahl an süßen und herzhaften Pfannkuchen. Portionsgröße absolut ausreichend, hat allen geschmeckt. Die Limo in der Karaffe für €5 der Liter war uns etwas zu süß, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Dessert sah auch lecker aus, hat aber nicht mehr rein gepasst. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, auch glutenfreie oder vegetarische Speisen erhältlich. Sehr gut auch, dass eine barrierefreie Toilette vorhanden ist.

Wir sind froh dieses Restaurant durch Zufall gefunden zu haben und sind allein deshalb im Urlaub ein zweites Mal nach Hindeloopen gefahren um das Restaurant ein zweites Mal zu besuchen 👍🏻👍🏻!

Wir sind spontan hier eingekehrt, um endlich mal das Nationalessen der Holländer zu probieren :-) Unglaublich gemütlicher und freundlicher, herzlicher Laden, authentisch und friesisch. Sehr fluffig und leckere Pfannkuchen- eine Auswahl von 50 verschiedenen Pfannkuchen steht zur Verfügung.

Nous avons pu goûté aux fameuses crêpes hollandaises sur la terrasse de ce restaurant au bord d'un des nombreux canaux qui déambulent dans la ville. C'était une bonne decouverte, elles nous ont plu, en particulier la salée. Seul point négatif : l'attente entre le plat et la crêpe sucrée ... On s'est sentis un peu comme oubliés.

Das Pannkoekenrestautant in Hindeloopen ist absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr netter Service. Gutes Preis-Lsietungs-Verhältnis. Und natürlich sehr gute Pfannkuchen in allen Variationen
