Friet Handel Middelburg in Binnenstad

Dirty fries, rancid, yuck. Expensive too, especially for what was delivered. You wouldn't expect it in a prime location in the city center. Disinterested staff, too. I'll never go back.

The fries were delicious (I can't compare prices because we rarely eat them, and location obviously plays a role). Not the best, but still simply delicious. It was quick, and the service was friendly. They came with salt, but we were told right away that the fries were lightly salted (or maybe not salted at all?). But I got the bag, and that settled that. I think the fries are OK for the price. I don't think the drinks are OK. I wouldn't pay $3.55 for a drink at a chip shop.

Absolutely fantastic! The kibbeling are truly delicious, and the fries are perfect. If you get a seat behind the stall, you'll have a perfect view of the town hall. You can't get any better kibbeling in Middelburg—a definite recommendation.

If you order fries with satay sauce at 5:30 PM, the satay sauce is no longer available, and you can't get the kibbeling either. Then I wonder, why are you open until 7:00 PM? The fries are also tasteless.

Cold fries (only short pieces) on a dirty tray. They are clearly used to tourists here, so returning customers are not important. There are two much better options nearby. Service is pathetic. The place, on the other hand, is beautiful. For something tasty, go to b'tje anders or smulhoekje.

Because our favorite chip shop was closed, we ended up at the market in Middelburg. The place is called Friet Handel because it's simply a business... With fries with sauce, the sauce is served separately in a separate compartment. If you ask for the sauce to be poured over the fries, you're told to do so. Eventually, the fries were ready, and the sauce turned out to be separate... oops, mistake (it wasn't because of the crowds; apart from one or two annoying seagulls that were also being fed from the fish shop across the street, we were the only customers). Fries and snacks were accepted anyway. Fries were cold within 5 minutes. -2* Sauce (separate after a special request) -1* Special frikandel without incision -1* Hence 1 star (because Google doesn't allow 0). It's still Handel.

Bestel een kibbeling met knoflooksaus. Krijg kibbeling met mayonaise. Hier betaal je kibbeling 7 euro en saus 1,25. En dan nog maak je fouten.

Very bad, having worked in the catering industry for 37 years, this is the worst thing I have ever eaten in the snack bar. Fries cold, even after the complaint I received new ones that were cold and very poorly cooked, we do not recommend eating here. Whether these people need to improve

Kibbeling was fresh but prices are insane 16 euro for small fry wit kibbling and a can of coke. Makes no sense they are ripping you a new one here

Lively chip shop with the classics Kibbeling and fries, but there is also Bamischijf, Frikandel, Kipkorn etc. We had fries and fish with two different sauces, everything tasted very tasty, fries were perfectly fried, fish was nice and juicy. You have to wait a bit because of the crowds, but there are beepers so you can sit down and then pick up the hot food as soon as it's ready. People sit at wooden tables under parasols. Would come back at any time.

Unfortunately, the fries had been in the somewhat rancid frying fat for far too long. Apparently we got the leftovers from a large pack. It was just the small fragments of the large fries. At least the service was very nice and we could sit in the shade.

During a visit to Friet-Handel in Middelburg we were served the tastiest fried fish and the best fries with mayo in a long time. Everything is freshly prepared and ready to eat with short waiting times. Absolutely recommended…

Wij hadden allemaal 3 grote friet. Ten eerste kreeg je maar een karig bakje,voor het geld. Verder waren het kleine stukjes friet die erg hard gebakken waren. Zeer slecht

When we went to eat with a whole group, we sat at Friet Handel Middelburg. We are very satisfied with the visit, and the employee has been included in the big book as employee of the month. We are going back to Enschede, we will take this as a tip for everyone there! If you are ever in beautiful Enschede, we would love to have a beer with him. The small portion of fries was very large for the price. But they could have been a little crispier and more seasoned. The mayo, peanut and onion sauce was good. The seller was very nice and spoke German well. The backdrop with the town hall couldn't have been better.

If you are in Middelburg and you feel like having fries and something tasty with it, you should immediately go to the chip shop. Very tasty food, fast service (even when it's busy). The fries are one of the tastiest fries I have had in a long time. We also had chicken corn and it was super tasty.

Got 1 small fries today. There were still people waiting for me, but I received my order within 2 minutes. Uhm...that was just really cold fries that were still there. Now I can't eat very hot things at the moment, so it wasn't a big deal for me, although there were some very cold ones. If it had really just come fresh from the fryer, it would have been tastier. But this time it was doable.

Fries-Handel ist eine Frittenbude direkt am Marktplatz. Die angebotenen Sachen sind alle Sauteuer(für eine Frittenbude), ABER auch sowas von lecker. Das ist einmal Cholesterin intravenös. Wir finden, das der Laden ein Muß bei einem Besuch in Middelburg ist.

Recently got fries with Indonesian Rendang...not normally tasty! Fresh and homemade of course, with delicious vegetables. Suitable for everyone, as it is not spicy. Highly recommended. Is a complete meal. Worth a solid five stars. Compliments!

Sur le principe je ne suis pas contre la friterie sur la place où on mange sur le pouce, cela peut être tres bien. Par contre ici tout est trop gras, et l’hygiene laisse à desirer, c’est surtout le problème. Le cuisinier attrape les aliments à pleine main sans gants, alors qu’il vient d’aller fumer… les tables exterieures ne sont pas nettoyées entre les clients, donc si les gens mettent les pieds dessus bah tant pis si vous passez juste derrière.

The car journey towards Middelburg began with high expectations to experience Dutch cuisine again at Friet Handel. But the high expectations were not met, especially when preparing the kibbeling. The entire tour group noticed that it was unfortunately completely over salted and therefore difficult to eat. Unfortunately, the fries that were also ordered couldn't be saved either, as they didn't get beyond the "satisfactory" status!!!

It was very crowded and therefore a very long wait. Fries and kibbeling were absolutely okay, but not a revelation either. But recommended for a little snack in between.

I have never had such a wonderful experience, even when me and my friends were in our darkest time, the lady from the chip shop saved us with her fries and even gave us a frikandel. A lot of love has been built up for this business!

I bought a bami disk here on Thursday evening around 6:15 PM. I had to wait a very long time. There is a non-transparent system with numbers. I had number 68. When I was waiting they were serving order 62. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for a very mediocre bami disk that had a crust that was far too hard and the contents of which were excessively salted. Unfortunately you have to rely on them as in Middelburg after 6 p.m. nothing like a herring sandwich or the like is available.

The fries aren't really good, not crispy at all. I would rather go somewhere else...
