Picked up two large fries and when I got home I saw that I had received two small bags of fries and absolutely no large fries as ordered 🤦🏽‍♂️

Well, everything had just closed, but I was hungry and decided to order a bag of fries here. It didn't take a minute, and I already had it in my hand. It was very salty and greasy. You could literally taste the used frying fat, so there wasn't much flavor in my mouth. Hunger kept me eating until I encountered an unpleasant surprise: half the bag was filled with burnt, blackened crumbs that I had to throw away. A day later, and I'm still suffering from it: stomach ache and the greasy, salty aftertaste. Despite drinking plenty of water, I don't feel the same as before. It was my first, but also my last, time.

Really rude staff. Little blonde boy ignored us and kept talking to the other two brunette co workers.

A large portion of fries is small here, or at most a medium. Definitely not "large." Two unfriendly ladies behind the counter. Very rude. Enormous amounts of salt, the fries were inedible. At the end of the fries, there were leftovers that had probably been fried hundreds of times throughout the day. The fries themselves were of very poor quality. The frying fat was clearly in very bad condition. I didn't order any ice cream, but I saw that the ice cream had completely melted when they were scooping it for others.

The staff is very young and inexperienced. The fries are very greasy, and the satay sauce they serve is inedible. First time and never again!

During our time in Amsterdam we tried fries all over the city but Frietboutique set the bar. Manneken Pis, Vlaams, and Fabel Friet were all ok but this was by far the best. Biggest portion, best crunch, perfect seasonings, and the best sauces. Not to mention their veal croquettes were phenomenal. Skip the huge lines at the touristy spots and get yourself a big helping of Frietboutique!

Everything was hot and delicious. Loved the truffle mayo. I also found the service to be very friendly and quick!

These are the most delicious fries in the Netherlands! And also the old cheese croquette and the chicken pieces are my absolute favorite :) You can't skip Frietboutique if you're in the neighborhood!

Patatje oorlog + kroket, always nice. €9.10. The cone looks nice, but eating it is a bit awkward (dirty hands after the sauce sticks to all sides). So there is always something to complain about :-) Good location.

A great place I found online. Tucked away from the center of Amsterdam, but easily accessible by public transport or on foot. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Order delivered for over €30, almost everything was missing upon delivery and the two products that were included were cold + the sauces were missing. What a disappointment, I called again and two stressed teenagers on the line. Waste of money.

Fantastic frites in Amsterdam! We took a stroll from the Rijksmuseum through the classy residential streets, bought our frites and then ate them in nearby Vodel Park. Perfect!

Ice cream is very expensive (4.60) for 2 small scoops. The ice cream wasn't very special either. One scoop tasted quite artificial…

Tasty fries and good satay sauce. Old cheese and beef croquette less tasty. Very expensive here for what you get, paid €18 for 2 fries and 2 croquettes. To be expected, a neighborhood where mainly snobs live. That's why they have crispy fried chicken pieces on the menu with sour cream and caviar, which comes in a very nice box.

An expensive name doesn't say it all; Very tasty ice cream, but the employees have no idea how to make a scoop and how to put it neatly on the cone. Maybe time for a walk-along day at a real ice cream parlour?

Nice little place with ice cream and fries. The fries are also sold in some restaurants, but they are often short, chipped fries. Shame. So now I tried the basic fries. And what do you think? Nice length but baked too short so very soft on the inside. But then the biggest mistake: the forks. Long with two closely spaced teeth. You can't prick with that. So each frie immediately broke in half with the fork. And it became stumps of fries again. It could have been so beautiful.

Absolutely amazing fries in a cool atmosphere shop! The staff is super friendly, and the aesthetic of the shop is great, but most importantly the fries are crisped to perfection and the sauces are amazing! We tried the truffle mayonnaise (must get!!!) and the peanut sauce with regular mayonnaise. All of the sauces taste so fresh. I’d definitely recommend this spot to any fry lovers out there!

These were my first “frites” so I didn’t know what to expect, but it was delicious. To be fair I was expecting a bit more based on the hype around this place, but for the price point and the convenience this is a great pick. They recommended the spicy mayo and I loved it. Service was efficient. Although not anything spectacular, it makes for a good meal.

The Frietboutique is ideal for quickly grabbing something tasty. It is not designed for dining. The ambience is accordingly. The ice cream is super delicious and we had the best fries of our lives there. Absolutely recommended. The service was quick, very nice and competent. The prices are absolutely reasonable for this expensive corner. If we're in the area, we'll definitely come back!

The place is in a neighborhood further away from the busy center. Well located in a square. We ate a large potato with two sauces, truffled mayonnaise and normal mayonnaise. We got two canned sodas.12 euros. Great value for money and delicious

My 11-year-old son gets a family bag of fries every week. We noticed that the quality deteriorates every week, but ok. The reason we don't come here anymore is because he was recently forced to tip. Ridiculous.

It's a pity that there is an abundance of starch in the fries, which takes away the taste and makes them appear very dry. Crispyness is good and sauce portion is fine. Peanut sauce could have tasted better. Some tables on the terrace which is very nice, especially with the nice weather. I secretly hoped that this would become my to-go chip shop, unfortunately

Not an exceptional setting or service but a cuisine that does not put the famous Dutch fries to shame. I recommend even if other shops offer this type of fries, if you are in the area don't hesitate to order.

I ate large fries with satay sauce. The fries were delicious, but I think the amount of satay sauce (1 tablespoon for 1.30) was really stingy. It is for that reason that I prefer to choose the borderline competitor Adam Aveen.

The fries are excellent, wide choice of sauces. The old cheese croquettes and the shrimp croquettes are very good. The breading is quality. The “frikandel” is also very good. Prices a little high, probably due to the neighborhood. Too bad the service and smile were not there.

Absolutely the best fries, we tried the most famous ones and those are on the next level. Forget the other chains (Manneken) and the other recommended places. The best ever.

Small but cosy! Beautiful place to go eat, very welcoming to me and my boyfriend who are English. Would definitely recommend to everyone! The size portion was great & loads of sauce, I had Vegan Mayo with mine which was delicious & my boyfriend had Chip Shop Curry both very nice :) I also tried their sorbet - chocolate & raspberry, strong flavours. Would be nice for more vegan icecream options but had a good amount anyways ❤️☮️

Overrated. But I also understand that the girl was totally maxed out working there all alone on a Saturday evening… all alone. We actually had stale fries I spat out. Sorry just really overrated.

Truly the tastiest fries! But also nice service, friendly and informative. A lady explained to me in clear language how the best fries become the best. I was here on January 23 in the afternoon.

Winner of best fries 2023! I drove by with my kids and thought we must have this. Fries were soggy and the girls behind the counter were busier with each other than helping us. It looked like a chicken coop with the word cancer being shouted several times. (My (young kids) even noticed it. Too bad, but perhaps we should employ clever staff who can make it an experience.

I got the regular size of fries with truffles mayonnaise, the portion is very big for one person. Fries were good, workers were nice and friendly. It has a cozy atmosphere.

Even een kalfsvlees kroketje gehaald afgelopen zondagmiddag. Het kan op zich niet zo snel mis gaan zou je denken. Maar dit frituurvet was veel te oud en smaakte gewoon echt niet lekker. Ik denk ook niet goed op temperatuur want het vet droop van de kroket af. En dat voor een ‘chique’ kroket (zonder brood) a € 3,30 …

The food was quite delicious. Croquettes were really special, as was the fried chicken. The frites reminded me a lot of English seaside chips in flavour, but with a nice crunch. Service was… typical. Disinterested, but took the money and gave the food. A little extra focus on the customer would be nice. Atmosphere… the place does a job, but it’s not somewhere I’d want to sit to eat. I found the prices a little high also.

Ben je in de buurt en wil je een snelle hap? Dit is jouw plek! Heerlijke friet, een goed assortiment snacks en ook nog eens heerlijk ijs en milkshakes! Zitplek is beperkt, maar het is desalniettemin best gezellig.

We come here every Saturday. Between all of their sauces I would specially recommend the pimente mayonnaise and the speciaal of oordlog. Their croquettes and the kass soufflé are also worth the visit 🤤 Good job guys!

Super leckere Pommes, ganz leckere Frikandel. Die Auswahl an Soßen ist super. Der Service ist unfassbar freundlich, geradezu herzlich. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme sicher wieder. Die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung, für die Gegend sowieso. Absolute Empfehlung!

Food was ok, but the service not so much - mistakes in our order, and when we tried to correct, the ladies rolled their eyes, not interested in providing a bare minimum of service and common courtesy. Observation - they do that at everyone. Also, if you dine in, no plates are offered - eat with your hands.
