Friethuys MET is an experience of unparalleled quality and quality. The staff is incredibly friendly; the quality of the food makes you think 10 focused Michelin-starred chefs are working there. Nothing could be further from the truth; they have some really nice young people who are always up for a chat. I've also ordered from them a few times and had them delivered, and then you get the same quality food, and it's delivered quickly and hot. Unfortunately, you don't see any of the friendly staff when you have it delivered, but you do get a really nice and friendly delivery person with a big smile. In short, Friethuys MET, keep up the good work with the great food, the fast service, and the friendly staff!

Good portions, plenty of sauce and a nice seasoning, fast service and neatly packaged, friendly staff. What more could you ask for?!

A really top place with top fries!! Nicely seasoned and crispy. With 5 adults and 10 kids, the book made a mess, but they were not impressed and super helpful. Keep it up!!

You pay €10 for a fries of truffle mayo with parmesan cheese. Great, I thought, I was looking forward to it. I get a fries of truffle mayo and some kind of powder that is supposed to represent Parmesan cheese and tasted like breadcrumbs. For that price you would expect freshly grated parmesan cheese and not this nonsense. I might as well have gotten fries with truffle mayo, then it would have been €5 cheaper. Read: I paid $5 for breadcrumbs

Always good fries for a fair price. Big MET with chicken was very tasty! Nice that it has a cheese soufflé on it instead of a wet slice of cheese as you so often see. One thing: a portion of fries is often a lot, which is not a big deal, but we often throw some away afterwards. It's a shame

Made a special reservation for our son's 4th birthday to come and eat, the food was good and so was the service because the staff turned on the "heater" inside but did not check the temperature. It was very cold and we were eating inside with our coats on, I really regretted that we ate here for his fourth birthday. It was disappointing

Fries looked delicious but were brown salt. My snack also seemed like too dry peanut sauce. Reported the salt Was for my one-off.

After 8 months in Turkey, our mother is back in the Netherlands. The first thing she wants to eat is delicious crispy fries that are only available in the Netherlands. On the way to Almere we searched Google maps for the tastiest fries in Almere, which is how we came across Friethuys MET. The service was super nice and the fries were deliciously crispy! The portions were quite large, we couldn't finish everything. We also believe that the best fries in Almere can be ordered at Friethuys. Also nice to know that the potatoes come from the region; Zeewolde. The only downside might be that it was a bit chilly inside...

Since the departure of the old owner, the quality and service of the chip shop has declined significantly. It's really not worth driving that far for it.

Food is good Only the young employee who was there yesterday was very rude. And not really customer friendly.

Fries, really good. Also snack except for the butcher's frikandel, which is simply not a frikandel. Too bad they were closed today. While they should be open “normally” according to the website.

Check in advance whether they were open via the website. That was true, we drove fifteen minutes to eat there. Were they closed? Holiday. Would have been nice if it had been adjusted on the website!!

Lots of choice of different fries meals. A lot is served and the food is good. There could be a little less sauce served, as it is a bit too dominant.

Recently ate here, I would say for everyone you must have been here! Super hygienic and incredibly tasty food! Thank you very much and see you again soon!

It’s a cozy restaurant with special fries. They only use potatoes grown in Flevoland. The fries had an excellent texture crispy outside and soft inside. Highly recommend this local restaurant

Picked up food for the family. When we get home we miss food. No receipt in the pocket. After calculating and paying for it. Tried calling but couldn't find a phone number anywhere. Back in the car. Bad service, no apologies or anything. Small portions. Too bad, friethuysMET was high, but they have now been written off for us.

I didn't really think the food was that great, the combination of fries with a layer of spicy fries sauce, topped with meatballs with satay sauce didn't taste good, I also thought the whole thing was quite salty. Too bad I'll miss it next time with a different topping.

First time trying out this snack bar although we are always in the area every week. The food did not disappoint. Good portion and tasty combos. We will definitely try other menus once we’re back.

Paid a good €24 for fries and stew, a cheese croquette, a shrimp croquette and 2 drinks. I'm from Belgium and I know exactly what stew means. Pulled pork cooked into cubes with brown beer sauce and shallots incorporated. What I got for stew in this place was pulled pork of mediocre quality that was probably several days old (otherwise I wouldn't have had diarrhea fifteen minutes later) with a tasteless brown sauce on top. The drops of fat literally ran off my fries. I guess I don't want to know what it looks like inside that kitchen. Definitely a place to avoid.

It was a bit busy and cramped and we felt like there was a lot of sauce and cheese on the parma truffle fries, but it was very tasty and the staff was friendly. Delicious fries, so highly recommended.

Very tasty fries that are unfortunately ruined without intervention because fries are normally thrown with seasonings over them. It is completely a mystery to me why the new owner adopted this idiotic habit from the old owner. My advice; Order the tastiest fries in the Netherlands here (probably) WITHOUT fries seasoning.

The food is really tasty, but the portion you get, which you pay almost €10 for, is actually a bit small. Bit disappointing for that price.

Een aanrader op gebied van lekkere friet en bijgerechten. Ze hebben overal net even wat meer moeite voor gedaan, ambachtelijke producten, ook uit eigen keuken! De friet met heerlijke kruiden zijn erg lekker! Evenals de verschillende bijgerechten, welke ook allemaal erg smaakvol zijn! Niet te vergelijken met een traditionele snackbar of cafetaria. Het is meestal een drukke boel, weinig zit plaatsen. Wij waren er met een groepje van 5 personen, waar het buiten vies nat weer was. Dan een plekje vinden binnen om te zitten is een uitdaging, al hadden we geluk! De zitplaatsen zijn niet van dezelfde kwaliteit als het eten, maar prima te doen. De focus ligt niet op het ter plaatse binnen opeten, maar buiten, waar diverse zitplekken zijn. Het was binnen niet echt warm, het tochte behoorlijk omdat de voorgevel open staat om mensen te ontvangen voor bestellingen. Hierdoor is het comfort om er te zitten niet hoog. Het eten wordt via een pieper aangegeven als het klaar is en opgehaald mag worden. Doordat het best fris is, en tocht, kan eten ook vlot afkoelen. Dat is wel jammer, je kan niet even lekker zitten.

Lekkerste patat van Almere, vriendelijke medewerkers, eten was snel klaar ondanks de drukte. Zelfgemaakte sausjes zijn erg lekker.

Hier kun je altijd terecht voor een overheerlijk frietje. De loaded/topped frites zijn geweldig. De huisgemaakte berenklauw is ook een aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke service!

Als de milkshake machine weigert en geen ijs produceert, zeg dit dan gewoon eerlijk tegen de klant en bied wat anders aan. Vloeistof met wat harde stukjes erin is niet lekker als milkshake. Als je 'luxe' patat verkoopt mag je wel verwachten dat de kwaliteit top is. De zoete aardappel frietjes die we gehaald hadden waren zacht. Ik ben beter gewend van Friethuis M E T

Sinds het vertrek van de vorige eigenaar Paul, is de kwaliteit teleurstellend. De friet is slap, geen chips meer op voorraad en het rek met verschillende soorten flessen sausen is zo goed als leeg. Tevens neemt men veel te veel bestellingen tegelijk op. Dat geeft sterk de indruk dat ze het op sommige momenten niet meer in de hand hebben. Jammer, een heel goede snackbar weg!!

Wat is dit een feestje om hier te eten. Echt geweldig, meen ik oprecht. Nette zaak met goede service, topkwaliteit, verse olie en schoon. Heel belangrijk. Echt een aanrader

Great fries. The normal size was very big. I would recommend the small size if you're not sharing. The sweet potato fries come especially recommended!

Heel appart, geen "normale" patatzaak. Eigen gemaakte berehap en zo meer. Veel beter als de standaard dus. Maar het blijft patat. ;)

Crazy experience! Gotta spend 2hours in the gym after that, but it was worth it! It's generous and delicious, and served in a lovely place with a smile!

Nog nooit zo'n lekkere friet gegeten. Wat een keus, zeer vriendelijk personeel en een enorme menu kaart, wij hebben dus nog genoeg om te proberen. Porties waren ook zeer toereikend. Comfortabele stoelen en een heel goed ijssalon er gelijk naast. Hebben we deze keer geen gebruik van gemaakt, helemaal vol van twee normale friet en een heerlijke berenklauw. Absoluut een aanrader

Wij vonden de patat niet lekker. Heel veel kleine stukjes, die ook nog heel hard gebakken zijn. Ook vonden wij de patat te vet, niet onze smaak. Wij gaan volgende keer weer ergens anders heen :). Ziet er voor de rest wel leuk uit.
