The food is nice but! A lot of times when I order something they giving me something much more cheaper and different… not just when I asked, doesnt matter it is my dutch boyfriend or I order it in English. I feel like they just use against us that we drink and not really sober, but still I know what we ordered pretty sad that they treating people like this. Even tho the food is nice this is very not okay.

Today, November 28, 2024, I got some fries of pickled meat to eat at home. The pickled meat was still okay, but the fries were not edible, limp; not warm, probably fried fries from yesterday. Sorry, just nasty.

What a hopeless figure. Ordered food for 20 euros. Toilet supposedly clogged.,....just go to the neighbors ??????

Delicious fries, ready quickly, not too expensive and in a location that is easy for me to reach on foot...

Had diarrhea on the same day. Thanks for nothing!!! Unfortunately, Frikandel Special were probably no longer completely fresh, if you can call it “fresh” when it comes to frozen goods. Half of it ended up in the trash can in front of the store, otherwise things would have turned out badly. The fries were a disgrace because they were fried in old oil and tasted so rancid that I lost my appetite after 3 pieces of fries. That was an imposition. The worst Dutch fries of my life and I had eaten heaps of both Dutch and Belgian fries. Thanks for nothing. Please work on your goods/quality, your interior is unfortunately getting old (i.e. cleanliness) and you have unfortunately forgotten a lot about Dutch friendliness. Although I give you a generous 3* stars for that, you somehow made an effort to provide a team as large as us in a timely manner. In addition, your prices are really very cheap/affordable, that's to your credit. This should really only be constructive and, above all, honest criticism. You can learn, work and grow from this feedback. There's no point in lying to yourself. Important: Please check the deep fryer oil often, depending on use and replace it occasionally, this will save other of your customers possibly diarrhea, we had two people who were affected by this. And disposable plastic containers will no longer be up to date in 2024. p.s.: There are no toilets or sinks, there is no hand washing. Many greetings and this can be a lot better 👍

The service is friendly and you have many types of snacks. The frikandel, croquette and bamiblok are perfect. The amount of fries is large per portion. But the fries are super bad, very dark brown in color and not tasty and limp. So the entire bag could go straight into the waste bin. Never gotten this anywhere before.

Fries completely tough and dark brown, satay container not closed properly, everything was covered!! Super bad service, orders are made 1 by 1 so we waited half an hour. Brutal when asked for something. Paid €15.50 for fries, 2 Mexicanos and a bowl of satay sauce. SHAME ON YOU!!

For many years I have been driving the 30km to eat delicious fries here, Gus knows what he is doing. Fries with love. And of course all the other delicacies can also be seen and tasted. For me the best chip shop far and wide.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! My first visit to Roermond and I walk into this restaurant (I can only talk English) and when I walked in I asked the worker if he can speak English, one time he says he doesn’t know English and later on he started speaking fluent English, the fact that he lied already put me off but I still gave the place a chance. The man insisted that I speak very politely by calling him sir or else he will not serve me, then I receive my order and start using my phone. The man then came over to me, telling me to put down the volume fully because it’s none of his business? But then I see him playing a movie with the volume blasted up?? The whole room was either uncomfortably quiet or there was a random movie playing in the back with full speaker volume. The worker was impolite, ignorant, service was horrible and communication was the poorest I’ve seen. No wonder why the place was empty and I’ll never be thinking about going again.

Heerlijke frietjes! Speciaal. Guus doet goed werk. Gezellig, snel en klantvriendelijk.

Geen gastheer zo lief en attent als Guus. Super friettent!

Echte frites lekkere saté saus echte gehaktbal.

Lekkere friet. Had grote friet saté en de saté was lekker en dat groot klopt ook wel. De caissière zet graag muziek aan terwijl je wacht/tijdens het eten en de wacht gebied is niet erg ruim, het is niet echt geschikt voor groepen.

Lekkere frietjes en héérlijke mayo goed door gebakken dus niet van die kleffe en slappe frietjes en vriendelijk personeel.

Wenn ich in Holland Pommes esse, dann will ich richtig gute Pommes. Diese waren besten falls unterer Durchschnitt. Insgesamt wirkte alles auch etwas schmuddelig bis hin zur Schürze der Bedienung.

Sehr leckere Pommes und eine unglaubliche Auswahl an verschiedenen Soßen und Snacks. Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer. Spricht auch deutsch, freut sich natürlich auch über den Versuch niederländisch zu sprechen. Klare Empfehlung. If there is one thing that the Benelux states have in common its their expertise in serving the best french fries around. While I'm aware of the fact that it might not be the healthiest food around, I at least want to have some decent reason to cheat on my diet if I'm going to regret it anyways and Fritessalon Remunk is perfect for that. You get what you expect when buying fries in the Netherlands: fair priced, crunchy, great tasing french fries with awesome mayonnaise!
