Friture Max in Wijk 02 Margraten

Had a nice peanut fries. We actually wanted soft ice cream but they don't have it. They did sell individually packaged ice creams at the café next door. For a small fries you pay €3.50 and with peanut sauce it was €5.05!!!! So very pricey! The taste was good. And the size was more like a medium fries. So you do get a filling portion. The two of us shared it. Fries were just cooked through. So if you like crunchy you will be disappointed. I like the fries that were just cooked well, so I was definitely satisfied. Nice terrace in front and next to it, so you can also visit the café for a drink.

Nowadays it is called Cafeteria Dito! They get the very dubious gold cup for the grossest fries I have ever eaten anywhere in the world! Limp and tasteless! I, on the other hand, really liked their goulash croquette.
