Bought a portion of kibbeling. There were few spices on it, a fairly firm batter coating, and it was quite pricey. The view is very beautiful.

Unfortunately, this year was a disappointment. The fries were very expensive, there was little sauce, and the portion was small. It's a shame; it was much better for years.

Delicious ice cream in a great location. Where better to enjoy ice cream than in a beautiful spot with a magnificent view, like here? Countless ships sail past, the sea is right in front of you—simply a cozy place.

Waren schon öfters hier und haben, der Chef möge es uns verzeihen, nur immer Kibbeling gegessen, aber dieser ist hier einfach traumhaft. Wunderbar knuspriger Teig, zarter geschmackvoller Fisch und dazu noch eine tolle Aussicht. Wer Kibbeling mag wird diesen lieben.

"Please don't use cards" was written on a sign in the store. When we paid, we were asked if we had any cash. We told them we never do, and what if there's a card issue, they asked. We said no ice cream, we'll go to the ATM or send a Tikkie. The husband and wife were surprised we didn't have cash. I find this odd and unfriendly. The ice cream, by the way, was inexpensive and good, deliciously creamy. It probably has to do with taxes that they prefer cash.

A small kiosk right next to the statue of the famous Admiral De Rutyer. You can grab a drink, a coffee, or even something to eat and leave, but I recommend staying and enjoying the spectacular view, perhaps even seeing a huge cargo ship pass by.

Fries were fine, but I've never paid so much money for such lousy fritters. Frying fat dripped out, almost no batter and no spices.

Nice view and good selection of snacks and drinks. Prices are reasonable and usual for these tourist places. You should buy kibbelings and so on there. Tastes better than Henk's at the cart next to the harbor. You can sit comfortably here and enjoy the view, there is always something to see. We'd love to come back.

Had fries and soft ice cream. Was super tasty! The service was very nice and responded to special requests. And the location with the view is great anyway!

You are not allowed to use your debit card there. There is also a sign: please do not use debit card.

Beautiful and (clean) location for a quick bite and a great view over the Western Scheldt. The soft ice cream and milkshakes are my favorite. The prices are fine. Unfortunately, the staff is not always friendly. The opening hours are also not always clear.

Judging from the other reactions, the bickering should have been better. The one we ate barely had any taste and didn't seem like it was fresh.

In addition to the delicious fries, I find the design by architect Joos Nijsse even more interesting! Rust brown on the outside with two hydraulic, upward-swinging doors; you just have to come up with it. Michieltje looks on approvingly.
