New owners are doing well, very good quality and well maintained and enough fries are given for the price that has to be paid, this was different with the previous owner, unfortunately they were counted there I think 🙈 these new owners are doing better 👍👍👍

Today I picked up another delicious order of fries from Meijers Frituur. The new owners have gotten off to a great start. Still top-notch quality, you get considerably more than before, and thankfully, it's a bit faster than before. Back then, the wait was almost like getting varicose veins.

Visited twice in a short time, the new owners have taken over the quality and even improved it. Generous portions (fries aren't counted as they used to be) and plenty of sauce. Keep up the good work!

Delicious fries (large portion) and the Grizly spicy is highly recommended and what friendly people.

The food is the same and it's much faster, but the portions are unfortunately smaller. But the service is much faster, which is very nice. Other owners were so slow, it's unbelievable.

as an american this place is very concerning bc the food tasted like they let it soak in the grease overnight and then used that same grease to fry ALL of the food they served that day, the only redeemable quality was the nice lady that worked at the counter, tbh the only people this place is made for is those coming in from a drunk night out

the food here tastes like pure grease, like someone marinated it in oil. I do not recommend. I gain like 20 pounds just from walking past this place, and the worst part is that they only serve milkshakes during the summer!! why do they do that??? I get so nauseos simply eating their fries, and they put the sauce on them in the weirdest way possible. please do not eat from here unless you want the ground to shake everytime you take a step. this food will make you sick. their burgers suck too, they put too much sauce on them and they taste like foam. anytime someone I know mentions getting food from this place I get an actual panic attack.

Bah bah, medium fries stew, exactly 2 pieces of stew and a small bowl. Fries with a taste of anything and everything. Fries double fries sauce, uhhh.. where was that? Just a pump of fries sauce. Hogweed is also not to be hailed. Come to many different places throughout the Netherlands, but this one was one of the worst ever.

This chip shop is (unjustly) praised as the best snack bar in Vlissingen. I have the impression that it has more to do with nostalgia for a lot of people. Personally, I find it very variable and if it is possible, it is no more than moderately satisfactory. Unfortunately, I have often had undercooked fries in the past. I recently tried it again after 7 years of a fries war and I think the ''homemade satay sauce'' tastes very bland and on the very boring side. I also noticed that they are also more expensive there than the average chip shop. Unfortunately I can't taste that again. Shame. Who knows better next time or not... Edit: Tried a few more times (2 or 3 times) Fries have come a long way in my opinion and are indeed unique in Vlissingen. I think the homemade nasi croquettes are a nice concept. Unfortunately also on the bland side, otherwise an excellent product. I love the luxurious cheese soufflés. These are also not sold everywhere. Unfortunately I don't get the wow factor. Which unfortunately prevents me from getting a 4th or 5th star. Who knows someday ;)

After rave reviews, I also got fries there. Shame!! Forgot satay sauce on 2 fries, lots of hard, chewy fries. The other 2 had sateh sauce where you had to look for sateh sauce with the large fries. We took a photo within 5 minutes immediately after arriving home. Sorry only had to throw half away because they were all hard fries. Not a good first time. Pity! 2 stars for the snacks and the friendly lady!

Fries and snacks are good. It's a shame that you don't get a fork, napkins and a bag as standard. At Lammers in Middelburg I think this is better organized and you get help faster, even when it is busy.

I think these stores get everything frozen from a large warehouse, it tastes the same in every fry shop!

Meijer's frying is a real traditional fries shop with hand-cut fries/fries. Located near the center and within walking distance (200 meters) of the parking garage. Upon entering you immediately notice that it is spotlessly clean and... there is a long line :). Portions are good. Sauce is on the fries. Personally, I prefer it on the side, but tastes differ. Satay sauce is nice and spicy. The mayo tastes exceptionally good. No alcohol is served, but the place is not really set up for sitting there for long periods of time. There are three (standing) tables and a number of stools. The staff is friendly and does their best to help everyone as quickly as possible. In short: if you like a real traditional fries shop with hand-cut fries with very tasty mayo, then you've come to the right place!

A ten and that, if they stay in it, will remain the best of my life, I eat fries wherever I am, no Meijer's fries, no fries! Meijer's fries or otherwise!

Mijers has always been known as a good snack bar. It was always busy there. It is and remains fast food, but despite that it was always good. I really haven't been there in a while. This is because I am no longer that close to it. Actually, I should just go again, who's going with me?

Unfortunately, food has deteriorated. Owner does his/her best, but does not follow in the footsteps of old owner Meijer.

You have to be patient, but then you have tasty fries and snacks.
