Got a super delicious sandwich and what a wonderful atmosphere this shop has. I'll be back more often.

A truly fantastic cheese shop with a wide selection of cheeses and cured meats. It also has a cozy lunchroom where you can enjoy delicious sandwiches and cheese or mixed platters. A particularly nice feature: you can buy the cheeses you've sampled directly in the shop. As a small suggestion for improvement, I would recommend labeling the different cheeses on the platter with small, labeled flags – this would make choosing later in the shop even easier.

A dream come true for someone who loves cheese in all its forms. You can buy the cheese to take home or enjoy it in the beautiful garden of the cheese shop. For example, there's the cheese platter for two, served by an exceptionally friendly waitress, at very reasonable prices. This establishment is worth a visit if you ever want to explore Middelburg.

We stumbled upon this place by chance; the reference to the garden restaurant piqued our curiosity—it's magical! We sat sheltered from the wind and heard the bells ringing. The service was very friendly, prompt, and unobtrusive. The menu is interesting; all the dishes at other tables looked great, too. The cappuccino was truly large and delicious, and the dishes and cutlery were beautiful. We didn't think it was too expensive either. Highly recommended.

An absolute delight – cheese art at its finest! We came back to Middelburg just for the cheese from Fromagerie Forianne. And what can we say: It was more than worth it! Every bite is an experience – whether creamy, spicy, or finely aged, you can taste true craftsmanship and passion here. The selection is not only diverse, but also curated with an exceptionally good sense of quality and taste. We were particularly impressed by the warm and expert service we received. You immediately notice: Cheese isn't just sold here – it's lived here! For us, Fromagerie Forianne is a real insider tip and a must-stop when in Zeeland. Five stars aren't really enough! 🧀✨

Lovely garden terrace with wonderful staff! The cheese-pesto salad with Serrano ham is highly recommended! The coconut ball with the drinks was a delicious treat in the sunshine!

A beautiful terrace in the courtyard. It's a shame, though, that the coffee comes with a strange, greasy, bitterbal-shaped cookie filled with coconut. I'm also not a fan of coffee being served in a small, handleless pot. The egg salad sandwich was only moderately tasty. And the portions are enormous.

Nice place with tasty sandwiches and a recommendation is the tap pas plank. Friendly staff and a nice beer or wine for lunch is simply on the menu. A wonderful location for lunch for a reasonable price. Dogs are welcome!

This cheese shop is highly recommended. We always come here on our vacation in Holland and buy great cheese—and if possible, take it home with us. Every cheese tastes exceptionally good, whether it's with wild garlic, pesto, rosemary, truffle, or soft cheese. The service is friendly, and upon request, they will vacuum-pack the cheese for longer shelf life.

Today on the terrace shared this delicious tapas platter. I have NEVER eaten from such a delicious and large snack platter!!! And that for a very reasonable price! Also the fact that you are served a bowl of nuts with just a drink on the terrace is a nice gesture that you don't see often these days. A gem in our own city and we will of course be happy to come back!!

On 4/19 we bought a piece of old crumbly cheese that we cut on 4/20. The taste we tasted from the taster in the store was hard to find (it tasted like vomit), so 12 € in the trash. I wanted to return it this morning on 4/21, but the store didn't open until 12 noon.

Despite my positive response below, I unfortunately experienced something unpleasant. We regularly eat here and this time there was a hair in my food and the reaction of the employees was not what you would expect. She really reacted as if this was the most normal thing in the world, which is a shame! You expect a cheese shop, but if you walk through the door to the back you can also sit inside or outside. They serve delicious coffee and tasty sandwiches with various toppings here, so even if you don't like cheese like me, you can have a delicious and enjoyable lunch here. A cozy courtyard has been set up so that you can sit here when the sun is out.

Sehr leckere Baguettes, das Ambiente und das Personal war beides ausgezeichnet. Ein netter Ort zum Entspannen und die Tapas Platten sind bei den Gästen auch sehr beliebt.

Fromagerie qui propose dans l’arrière-boutique une terrasse pour déguster du fromage. C’est en fait un vrai restaurant, avec à la carte du vin et des sortes de tapas pour aller avec le fromage. À part les deux seules planches sur la carte, il me semble que tout ce qui est proposé sur la menu est servie sur une grosse tartine (aussi bien le fromage que les salades). Cela n’enlève rien au fait que c’est excellent et pour un prix très raisonnable (quantité généreuse, trois tartines étaient suffisantes pour deux)

The tapas plate for 2 people is simply a dream. The small room is simply wonderfully furnished, the terrace is very nice, but that's exactly the reason why there is one star less. The whole concept with details etc. isn't quite carried through here and therefore a little something is missing. To get the last star, it's simply not enough, you need a fabulous or wonderful one. Nevertheless, an absolute recommendation and whenever I'm in Middelburg I like to come here. Whether with family, friends or as a couple. It is worth it

Nice lunchroom/cheese shop with an extensive range. My favorite is the tapas board. Then you can taste all kinds of goodies from the store. The lunchroom is nicely decorated and when the weather is nice you can sit in the garden.

Had a very nice lunch on the cozy terrace at the back of the store. We had a warm sandwich with goat cheese. We were even able to order a soft roll (sandwich) with sausage for the children, who were very satisfied. Friendly staff, clean toilets, pleasant location, good value for money. Next time we will come back for the cheese board, which also looked very tasty.

Our sandwiches were absolutely delicious: super fresh, delicious bread and generously topped with the most delicious things! We would like to try a lot more here, so this will be our regular stop when we are in Middelburg! The staff is very nice and the prices are very reasonable, on the low side. They really care about the business here!

The food, a tapas board with bread, was delicious and more than enough. The service is top notch, very friendly. The atmosphere is great, this afternoon we sat under the veranda in the courtyard. This was not the first time but certainly not the last time we came here. The next day we ate the delicious sandwiches.

What you don't see at the front and don't quickly notice when you walk in, you can also have a nice lunch here. If you continue, you will enter a small but nicely decorated room with a number of tables. When the weather is good, they also have a surprisingly large courtyard where you can enjoy a nice meal. They have many types of sandwiches and salads. Obviously mainly focused on cheeses and meat, but there are also other options. The portions are quite large but very good quality. A not so well known and kind of undiscovered gem. Highly recommended. I can't tell you much about the store itself. They have many types of cheese.
