The sandwich is very bad: two slices of ham, no butter, nothing at all. No one speaks German. I do not recommend this place. I'm giving it one star because a lower rating is impossible.

Another baguette baked too hard (and too long), with the edges as brittle as rusk and the top so sharp it leaves your palate open. This used to be so much better with (a different) and larger pieces of baguette (a shop on the boulevard). I also don't understand why the tomato has to be "meaty" every time (for a relatively high price) and why they so often forget to cut the baguette in half, even though I just asked (when ordering at the counter). Unfortunately, my experience in Vlissingen over the past three years has been no different.

I'd sooner hit the jackpot than have them serve an order where they didn't forget something.

The last two times I waited over 20 minutes for a sandwich, but today I thought, I'll try again. After standing in line for a while to place my order, I was told, "It will take at least 20 minutes because there are only two of us." This time I didn't have the patience to wait almost half an hour on the bench again, so I got lunch from the neighbors.

We always like to come back to smos for the sandwiches. We will skip this location next time. The order is no longer taken at the table, you have to stand in the same line as the take-away. You are already fifteen minutes further before your order is taken. Tables dirty and when you ask for a cloth to clean the table yourself (!) you get a grumpy answer which, judging from the reviews, is not the first time.

Today Martino sandwich and roast in mustard sauce... Bah bah, very unfortunate and disappointed. Martino was inedible, you only taste sour and the other sandwich was very salty. It wasn't a roast, it was a mustard sandwich with cheese. That's how Smoske gets a bad name.

As tourists we thought we had found a nice tent. First of all, I didn't know where to order, it was very unclear. Then I placed the order, but I think the person didn't feel like it because he was just a grump. We also saw that with others. This was a real travesty! Received a tip from many people to eat here, so I gave it a try. It already takes 5 minutes before someone comes to take my order, in a quiet place, which is striking. Javanese Chicken cannot be beaten in terms of taste, it really is a winner. Order was also prepared very quickly and the bun was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Benches and tables were still covered in crumbs where I was sitting, which is something that can still be improved, but you can eat well here!

They took 30 minutes in preparing a sandwich which was literally 99% mayonese and 1% chicken, they used to be good, but never again.

The atmosphere is just like a chip shop, the service is fine, long waiting times. Sandwiches are often baked too hard, damaging your palate. You can notice that there is now a quality and a quantity at play compared to the beginning of Smoske, when they really wanted to give the customers quality, now the more we sell, the better the turnover. Maybe better to order from Helen's Bakery then you can really taste the difference, the sandwich is crispy and better topping.

I ordered a sandwich here a while ago during the break from my training. I had to wait 40 minutes for this sandwich and so in the end I didn't get much out of my break. I can understand that it can be busy around 12 o'clock, but 40 minutes for 1 sandwich is a bit too long in my opinion.

I have never experienced such bad service in my entire life. The boy served us to eat there when we requested to eat away. He was also very rude about it and asked us to pack the sandwiches ourselves when I paid for that service and it wasn't my job. He rudely apologized for it and threw his hand at us when he said sorry. As we were leaving he commented that we shouldn't cry about it. The next customer was also treated poorly. The waiter was rude and racist.

Order was also recorded incorrectly: -2 coffee instead of 1 (we didn't have to pay for the extra coffee, so we got free coffee👍😊) -A sandwich was €6.75, but on the receipt it was €6.25, so we accidentally had a discount! The tables were a bit dirty. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good, had a bit of a Christmas atmosphere (in July🙄) So a great place for lunch. They need to work on the speed a bit.

Never eaten anywhere before and ordered orange juice that has been diluted with water(!!). Making a profit is good, but give customers what they are entitled to. Diluted orange juice would have been better on the menu. The sandwiches were ok. II response to the owner: very lame to immediately label someone's review as 'false'! I know very well what water tastes like and what orange juice tastes like, so you can call my opinion false or incorrect. It doesn't change the fact that it was simply 100% diluted during that visit!

Staff was friendly but painfully slow, 35 minutes waiting time after payment although it really wasn't that busy. Sandwiches are too expensive for what they are €14.75 for a martino and brie. Not that big and seemed thrown in from far away. Nothing wrong with the taste, but cannot justify the price or waiting time. I would much rather discourage this business than recommend it.
