Garden of Asia in Binnenstad

Picked up for the first time today. The service was friendly and efficient, and it was ready quickly. The food (tenderloin with vegetables in pepper sauce) was still nice and hot when I got home, and truly delicious! Kudos, I'll be back!

The food was very tasty. Great service.

I ordered seafood soup, satay and steamed shrimp dumplings. There’s a wide variety of ingredients in the soup including egg white, shredded crab meat, shrimps, bamboo shoot and mushroom. The shrimp dumplings were just reheated packaged food. Not good value for money. The satay was a disappointing scene: chicken meat in skewers boiled in water and soaked in a gooey brownish yellow sauce. I just wondered if the cook had ever eaten a proper satay. On the whole, food quality is mediocre and cooking skills need much sharpening.

I had seen the photo of mihoen Singapore, and it seemed nice to me, it was very tasty, nice and spicy, richly filled, as far as I'm concerned I recommend it!

We were always a regular customer but unfortunately disappointing again. Ordered a Chinese rice table... ready within 20 minutes... (!?) except for the just fried shrimp and cow loe yoek, we think everything came out of the microwave... no wok flavor to be found and everything was very hot but mushy and flat in taste. Tjap Tjoy = especially a lot of limp bean sprouts. We say goodbye!

Absurd prices now, we have dropped out, but we will make our own noodles/nasi. Too bad, we liked coming there, but there is a limit and it has now been reached.

We just visited Leeuwarden for the first time and found a high rated Asian restaurant, I wanna say it deserves the nice reviews and high ratings The food is very authentic, and the owner of the restaurant is such a nice lady! She is very nice and friendly and very talkative, we had a very nice conversation with her. Every dish tastes good, and the fried rice as well! I’m sure we’ll come back again! Wish the owner good fortune and best wishes for her :)

Kom hier al jaren voor mij is er geen betere chinees hier in Leeuwarden. Ook vandaag 8 mei weer babi pangjang nasi en een grote loempia met pindasaus gehaald was weer helemaal top het blijft de betere Chinees in Leeuwarden.

Tsja… de bediening is erg vriendelijk en absoluut behulpzaam maar men loopt er in dagelijkse slobberkleding erbij. De aankleding is sober en goedkoop. Tafels met incomplete of ontbrekende kruidenstellen, espresso serveren met verkeerde schotel onder kopje… Kleine dingetjes. Het eten is oké maar kwa smaak en opmaak ‘nietszeggend’ mits je waarschijnlijk de duurdere Chinese gerechten/rijsttafels besteld.

When I came to Leeuwarden, I had a better chicken dish than I had in Shanghai! The sweet and sour pork and stir-fried bok choy eaten in a comfortable atmosphere were really delicious, and it was even better that all the customers who came to the restaurant seemed happy! If I come to this city again, I definitely want to have dinner here again.

I ordered noodles Singapore, I received a children's plate and there were too many peas in it and corn should not be in it either, which was not tasty. my partner had asked for babi pangang, it was terribly dry. And the blue spa had cold tap water. Your plate was immediately taken away and the coffee was not tasty either. So they certainly won't see me here again. 42.00 I could have just thrown it away

Just got food and mostly in the trash..., there is no crack or taste, nasi Ramses didn't taste like cow loo Kai, 8 dry tasteless balls luckily the nice owner had saved us from a large portion... we didn't see sauce and white rice... .very disappointing, shame

potential customer be aware. This business may discretely overcharge tourists. In ordered Remes of the house, which on the eat in menu is 17 something, and 18.8 on the take out menu. After finished I was handed a pos machine and told to just scan my card, which I scanned unsuspectedly. Only later I found out I was charged 19.1 instead. Then I had fleshback of the waitress handed me the machine with the screen facing herself, prevented me from reading it. But I am already on the train leaving the city. So the only thing I can do is warning future customers to always double check the number on the machine before paying anything. business like this preying on naive tourists should be ashamed of themselves.

Slecht, ik had dit restaurant uitgekozen omdat die net wat betere scores had, achteraf snap ik die scores niet. Het was slap, nat en klef, de tjap tjoy vol met blubber, de nasi met teveel smaakversterker ('s nachts wakker worden met een droge mond) en van de saté had mijn vrouw de volgende dag last van haar darmen (ik had geen saté en mijn vrouw heeft nooit last van haar darmen). Aan dit soort slappe Chinees restaurants gaat dit concept ten onder.

Last weekend I had dinner at Garden of Asia with my girlfriend, brother and sister-in-law. As always, the food is excellent, the hostess and her daughter are very friendly, add a nice Chinese beer and you have a pleasant dinner. We have been coming here for years and this restaurant never disappoints.

Never had such a bad experience. We had chicken mushrooms with noodles but it wasn't great. So never go here again.

We always liked to pick up food here, but after our last experience here we will never do that again. We were walking around town and my youngest son really needed to pee. We walked in and asked if he could go to the bathroom and were very rudely refused. Who wouldn't let a child pee when he needs to?

Fuimos a comer a medio día. Sobre las 15h. No había nadie y tampoco cuando nos fuimos. Solo una persona jugando a las máquinas tragaperras. La comida estuvo bien aunque creo que un poco cara.

We always get take-out here when we want Chinese food. It's pretty close for us. We always get 2 special spring rolls and a small noodles, which is more than enough for 2 people. The quality has always been good with us and it tastes good. I have also sometimes kept the noodles for a day and reheated them later, which worked fine (of course less tasty than fresh).

Von außen unscheinbar, ist dieses Restaurant innen ansprechend eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Umfangreiche Speisekarte in englischer Sprache. Wir hatten ein chinesisches Gericht mit Hühnerfleisch und Ananas, sowie ein indonesisches nach Art des Hauses. Beides war sehr schmackhaft und fein gewürzt. Da ich es gerne etwas schärfer mag, habe ich nach Sambal Oelek gefragt und ein Schälchen mit gut scharfem und aromatischem Sambal gereicht bekommen, das offenbar frisch gemacht war. So ein Aroma kenne ich nicht vom Fertigprodukt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Personal sehr freundlich, Essen sehr lecker und auch geschmacklich definitiv chinesisch (entgegen anderer Rezensionen). Gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder da sind.

Hoewel Chinees eten niet mijn favoriete eten is werd ik aangenaam verrast door de heerlijke nasi rames met kip. Ook een normale, niet veel te grote, hoeveelheid.

We hebben hier vanavond heerlijk gegeten. We hadden de chinees indische rijsttafel. Wat een lieve snelle bediening zeg en lekker eten. Zou hier zeker weer naartoe gaan.

Beste Chinees die er is. Maar wel het juiste nummer doorgeven als je telefonisch besteld. Anders krijg je soms een verassing als je naam “ de Buurman” is. ;-) Schatjes zijn het.

Vriendelijke mensen. Gezien de recensies hier iets teveel van het (ophaal) eten verwacht. Maar het was eigenlijk heel gewoontjes Chinees. De bami had weinig smaak. De babi Pangang was verrassend mals. Het eten past goed bij de bescheiden prijs. Woon je in de buurt? Dan zeker eens proberen of het iets voor jou is.

The atmosphere is welcoming, calming, quiet, like stepping back in time. The waitstaff were pleasant and prompt. The beer was ice cold. Ordered several dishes including Babi Pangang, Foe Yong Hai, and Loempia. Servings are ample, enough to share. Some meals may have been prepared earlier as there was a distinct lack of fresh spices and herbs in the dishes. Leeuwarden has several grocery stores that offer a wide range of imported spices and herbs. One of the stores, Toko Anphuc, is less than 5 minutes walk away from the restaurant and offers an extensive selection of fresh herbs and spices that would be a quick way for the kitchen to elevate the meal(s). Based on reviews of others I really wanted to give the restaurant a 5 star rating but now reluctantly settle for 3.
