The food was really good, their menu exudes luxury, but the interior isn't. Especially the staff. Not good at all. Unfortunately, they're grumpy.

On the way to Maastricht, the weather was nice, so we stopped in Meerssen. A pleasant square, already busy around noon. We also had lunch right away. Decent portions. Nicely presented, friendly service. Definitely worth it. It's a shame that some food delivery drivers were working there, which was quite noisy. When some wasps visited our table, the staff immediately put down a propeller, which significantly reduced the noise. The prices were also reasonable, especially considering the well-filled plates.

We hadden een pittige wandeling achter de rug en het weer was af en toe een buitje. We zaten net ongeveer 10 min en wilden wat bestellen want bediening had het druk, toen werden wij gelijk vriendelijk verzocht van tafeltje te wisselen. Ik moest toen buiten het luifel gaan zitten, plaatje gereserveerd ontbrak. Niet erg vriendelijk.

I called to make a reservation for lunch, and we got a great spot. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent. It's a shame I don't have a photo because we were really hungry and were already enjoying our food.

A nice restaurant on the characteristic market of Meerssen with a view of the beautiful church. Lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner on the terrace. Ate here with a number of people and this was certainly not disappointing. Good food and good atmosphere and that also with good service. A recommendation for everyone.

Got to know this restaurant through. A pearl that the village of Meerssen can be proud of! Super fun and relaxed atmosphere, tasty and pure food without difficult frills. The host and his right hand have everything under control. We are fans and will definitely come back!

Delicious cherry pie and the chocolate milk with whiskey is definitely recommended. It's a shame that everything in Valkenburg closes so early. It is a tourist attraction after all.

We had lunch in Meerssen on the beautiful market square, a very hot day, sunny, 30c⁰+ and decided to have lunch when we felt like it. A nice cozy decorated terrace with decent chairs with nice cushions and sturdy tables (finally no shaky tables for once!) a light breeze, in short, perfect ambiance. It arrived quite quickly. A nice, cheerful lady provided us with a drink and a menu. We ordered salad with hot chicken (a beautifully served salad with a tasty dressing, a generous portion of hot marinated chicken, fresh prawn crackers and delicious bread), a scampi salad (a generous portion of scampi, 8 pieces... tasty salad with good dressing and delicious fresh bread) and pickled meat with fries (tasty pickled meat with a very generous portion of fries with mayo and a tasty salad with delicious dressing) everything was nice and fresh. very friendly staff and the price was also very reasonable 18 euros for a salad and 17 euros for the pickled meat.... the wine (white chardonay was good 5.75, and soft drink was 3 euros ) definitely highly recommended

Cozy terrace on the market, where we had lunch.. terrace is nicely decorated with plants, cushions in the chairs and carpet.. We opted for the pinsa salmon and the pinsa vitello tonata, both were delicious! Friendly staff who are up for a chat, we will definitely come back here again!

Het eten was zeer matig. Het voorgerecht kwam niet overeen met hetgeen wat op de kaart stond en smaakte heel erg flauw. De truffelsaus bij de tournedos was geen truffelsaus maar een bruine ietwat zoete saus. De bijbehorende groente waren slap. Hier kom ik niet meer.

Didn't ask how the food was. During dinner our glass was empty. We didn't ask if we wanted anything else. It wasn't busy, there were 3 tables.

Take shelter from the rain and immediately enjoy some tasty snacks from the menu. The menu was varied and looked good. We will definitely come back to try the rest. The service was fast and friendly.

The two of us came here for a bite to eat. Staff was friendly and cleared a table so we could still eat. The food came quickly and was very tasty, portions were also large enough. The only point is that there may be a bit of a lack of vegetarian options, but otherwise the choice was great!

Unfortunately the visit wasn't worth it for us. We had the feeling that there was a two-class society: acquaintances and regulars and the rest. Food was ok, but nothing special. The location was nice and pleasant. Unfortunately, the service completely ignored us. While the table next door was served almost constantly, we sat dry for a long time. That was a real shame.

Beautifully located restaurant with a large terrace on the church square in Meerssen. What is striking is the village-like quality of the visitors and the picturesque surroundings. Staff is customer friendly, facilities are available and the food is to your liking. Perfect location for a snack and drink on a Sunday afternoon, especially when the sun is shining! Recommended!

De lekkerste salade val dieu ooit gegeten.

We aten een voorgerecht en als hoofdgerecht aten we vis. Ook namen we een dessert en ter afsluiting cappuccino. Een diner in menu vorm zou wenselijk zijn.

Wir hatten heute ein wunderbares Abendessen. Die Portionen sind gross und sehr schön hergerichtet. Die Abstimmung passt sehr gut und ausreichend gewürzt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit viel Sonnenschein und guter Stimmung.
