WOW !!! Restaurant Meerssen, Preuf - Bistro & Bar is SO GOOD !!! We had been looking forward to eating here in the cozy center of Meerssen for 4 weeks. The onion soup is AMAZING !! Delicious flavor !! The sour meat is really TOP !! The service is really super friendly ! When we return from the Randstad, we will definitely eat at Restaurant Meerssen, Preuf - Bistro & Bar again !!

A nice little day trip from Maastricht ☀️ Came here for brunch on a summer day and sat outside opposite the church. Definitely worth visiting the church and the park nearby too if you have some extra time!

The place is very atmospheric on a cozy square with a beautiful view of the church. The staff is friendly but not very attentive. We had a toasted sandwich of mediocre quality with a bit of flavoring on it.

One of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had. The steak sandwich is really top-notch. Service is good and fast.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Preuf – Bistro & Bar in Meerssen. The food was fantastic. Everything we had was truly delicious, and you could tell they prioritize quality. We also highly recommend the dessert – a perfect ending to the meal. The service was just as excellent as the food. No matter who we spoke to, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous. We were even able to communicate in German at times, and otherwise, English was no problem. This made us feel very comfortable as guests. For us, the whole package was perfect: great food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely eat here again. A clear 5 stars and an absolute recommendation.

We had a delicious meal, the service was good, and we were offered another table out of the sun if we wanted. We had three courses, and it was all great.

It took a while before we were served a menu and something to drink. It wasn't even busy. But lunch was ready fairly quickly. It was tasty and looked good too. A nice spot to sit under the large parasols. The terrace is divided into two sections with a wide path running through them.

We were received very hospitably this evening to dine on our 25th wedding anniversary, complete with a complimentary cava! We already had a fantastic lunch yesterday with beautiful fresh products, and enjoyed a 3-course meal again this evening. You really get value for money, with excellent service and attention to both the customer and the products.

Beautiful medium-sized square by the Basilica of Meerssen. Good atmosphere; with sun and occasional music, it feels a bit like the Côte d'Azur 🍷🍷🍹🍹

Nice location on the square in Meerssen. Service was good. Food was decent.

I ordered a total of 5 Val Dieu salads in weeks 36 and 37 (and about 30 in previous years during holidays). In week 37, Monday, the salad had been halved in cheese. After I commented on this and found some sample photos online, the chef insisted that this salad was always served with just one Val Dieu cheese...well, no way! See the photos online and my experience here. Later in the conversation, he offered a discount (...) but I didn't accept. I had already paid and didn't want to escalate the situation because my wife was there. I'll never be back, but apparently, they don't care! For the first time in 50 years, I didn't leave a tip.

Last night, my mother and my girlfriend had a lovely dinner at Preuf. After sharing a delicious vegetarian appetizer platter, my mother really enjoyed the grilled tuna. The vegetarian pasta tartuffo was also delicious! The portion was so generous I couldn't finish it. When I asked to take the leftover pasta home, it was expertly sealed, and I enjoyed it again tonight! It was so nice that this was possible, thank you for your attentive and friendly service. And deliciously sustainable, too.

A nice quick beer and a drink during a bike ride—always enjoyable, the Burgundian way of life. And a visit to the basilica, for what it's worth.

Na lang zoeken dachten wij een leuke, gezellige brasserie te hebben gevonden maar viel ons dat enorm tegen. De bediening was druk bezig met ander personeel en hun telefoon. Eenmaal het hoofdgerecht op tafel was de biefstuk volledig rauw en wouden wij nog wat drinken bestellen maar werd dat meteen vergeten ( 2 tafels maar vol op dat moment) en kwam de serveerster ongeïnteresseerd over. Wij hebben betaald en zijn daarna weggegaan. Enorm jammer en vervelende start van onze vakantie.

Restaurant Preuf is located in the charming town center of Meersen. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the terrace, with friendly service and a beautiful view of the square and the basilica.

The digital reservation via the site and email went well. Special wishes are taken into account as much as possible. The young service was friendly, polite and professional. Had a wonderful evening with family.

Love coming here! Both for fun in the summer on the terrace and for an evening out for dinner. The atmosphere inside is fine, but could be a little more cozy. But that doesn't detract from the delicious food, even taking allergies into account. The chef is happy to adapt the dish. Compliments! And see you next time :)

Relax on the terrace at Preuf. A snack board is always recommended. The drinks board at Preuf Meerssen is an excellent choice for a pleasant drinks evening. The combination of delicious flavors, friendly service and an inviting atmosphere makes this a must for anyone who enjoys good food and a good time. We will definitely come back here again to enjoy this delicious snack board.

Yesterday we enjoyed the three-course menu on the terrace of Preuf. It is wonderful to sit on the beautiful market square. The service is very good. Finally a restaurant where the service is friendly and visits regularly. The food was very tasty, duck breast in the starter and sirloin steak in the main course were tender and full of flavour. We'll be back.

The square is nice but the restaurants next door are much better. Poor quality dry hamburger with hard pieces in it. The waitress forgot to place the order and I waited 3/4 hours before finally being served.

Leuke accomodatie midden op de markt. Overdekt terras. Redelijke keuze menu. prijs kwaliteit redelijk. ruime zitplaatsen en voldoende privacy. Een voorafje dmv broodplankje met diverse tapenades is voor 2 personen wat aan de grote kant.

We hebben in het paasweekend hier 2 keer gegeten, heel relaxed met een riendelijke bediening en prima eten, zorgvuldig bereid.

Verrassend lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening zonder poespas of gedoe. De preufburger is een aanrader. Zou hier zo weer komen al we in de buurt zijn.

Niet super slecht maar ook niet top. Eten matig (weinig smaak bij de hamburgers.. Eentje zelfs nog rose van binnen terwijl gevraagd was om hem volledig door te bakken. Dit wel aangegeven bij de bediening. Sparibs en saté geen ruime portie) Bediening wel vriendelijk.

Op zo'n locatie zou je booming business kunnen zijn. Het eten was redelijk, zeker niets speciaals en de bediening was vooral bezig met zichzelf en met elkaar. Gemiste kans.

Bij Preuf hebben we gisteren heerlijk op een loungeset in het zonnetje gezeten. Het uitzicht op de Basiliek en de groene omgeving zorgde voor een vakantiegevoel: heerlijk. De bediening was vriendelijk en snel. Kortom: een fijne plek naar toe te gaan en iets te eten en/ of te drinken. 👌🏼

Super zaak met leuke bediening, ruime kaart en mooie locatie in hartje Meerssen. Heerlijk met mooi weer op het terras gezeten en genoten!

Gezellig terras aan de Markt, vriendelijke bediening. Alleen wat gedronken met wat bitterballen. Helaas waren de bitterballen van zeer slechte kwaliteit.

Keurig en nette horeca gelegenheid. Net personeel. Jammer dat men de gasten met je en jij aanspreekt. Not done....👎

Heerlijk eten en de stoelen zitten echt lekker

Voor de één een goed gebakken eendenborst en voor de ander een riante rosé gebakken tonijnsteak. Prima! En donderdag nogmaals uitstekend gegeten.
