Gasterij Vuurland in de Pijp en Wijkerbroek

We made a reservation at 5:00 PM, drinks arrived immediately, followed by the appetizer, and then we waited, waited, and waited some more... The steak was tough and the potatoes were cold. We were told we didn't want any more food because everything was taking so long and we had small children with us. They met us with coffee. The dessert was also disappointing. I really didn't think the menu was worth the money. The staff was friendly and did their best. The lady with the kids was fun, cutting, slicing, and playing games. We were so looking forward to Boxing Day with the family, but it's a shame it turned out so differently.

At 5:30 pm, we arrived right away with the wine and beer, the food was excellent, I ordered even more beer, they were quick with it, it was delicious, really great. Waiting, waiting, waiting, at 7:30 pm, finally our food, I was so hungry! I ordered Australian steaks, and now it was time to eat. Damn, the meat was cold, but I didn't want it to be sour. My friend looked at me and said it was cold too. My wife's steak was really bad, then you call someone, and then someone else comes. The solution? New, no, this is because of the small children, and it takes so long again. A bill of €365.00 for 7 people, and then I heard nothing more. I will definitely never go back here again.

We haven't eaten there yet, but we definitely will. Great play area for the kids and friendly staff.

I've heard so many good things and now I can finally experience it for myself. A really great place has been created there in the middle of nowhere. A cozy atmosphere, a nice play area for the kids, friendly service, and excellent prices. All in all, highly recommended.

We come here often, and the food is decent. However, after we'd ordered drinks and food, our two-year-old daughter was still hungry, so we gave her a baby biscuit. As we ordered more drinks, the staff immediately criticized us for this in an arrogant manner, saying that this wasn't allowed. We won't be coming here again, whiners.

We like to come to Gasterij Vuurland with our children aged 3 and 6. There is plenty to do, outside a playground (fenced off), inside a mini play paradise and upstairs a small cinema. Nevertheless, it is certainly not a screaming paradise. Children are generally very quiet. While waiting for the food, which is really good value for money, our children enjoy themselves. This makes for a lovely time to chat with each other. Nice young and smooth service who understand that you don't want to dine for 3 hours with little ones. For the children also a lot of choice in addition to the delicious pancakes (only 6 euros on Thursday and Friday!). I didn't have lunch there myself, so I don't know. In terms of dinner in any case highly recommended with small children.

Very dark, busy, a lot of noise. Running screaming children that no one pays attention to. That makes it very noisy and restless. You can't really talk and eat together in a relaxed way.

The children had a great time playing there and we had a delicious meal! More vegetarian options would be nice!

They still don't allow dogs in a restaurant. 99% of restaurants in the Netherlands allow dogs. We had small dog in a fully closed carriage

De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is absoluut niet in goed: je krijgt geen beetje sla of atjar bij de hoofdgerechten of iets van groente. 5 van de 6 hoofdgerechten waren lauw, de “manager” die er was reageerde volkomen verkeerd en hij twijfelde of we gelijk zouden kunnen hebben met onze klacht over het lauwe eten. Het kon ook niet gaf hij aan want de spare ribs zouden net uit de frituur komen volgens hem. Uiteindelijk kregen we na enige tijd de maaltijden warm terug, maar de patat hadden ze gewoon nog een keer in de frituur gegooid dus die waren hard. Het speel gebeuren voor de kinderen is wel leuk, de animatie die er zou zijn stelt werkelijk niets voor. Verder was het rommelig en niet echt gastvrij. Kortom, het was ons eerste bezoek en er zal geen vervolg meer komen want er zijn veel betere, gastvrije restaurants in de regio die ook kindvriendelijk zijn.

Prima plek voor gezinnen. Veel te doen en je hebt er geen omkijken naar. Eenvoudige maar prima kaart. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Kom wel bijna de parkeerplaats niet uitkomen omdat de paden erg smal bleken toen we terugkwamen en alles vol stond.

Great place to have something to eat and drink if you have children.

I used to like this place, but last time I was there something very weid happened. After having lunch, coffee, etc., I ordered a bottle of water for my 6-year-old daughter. She asked to put the water in her pink unicorn water bottle. A few minutes later, a waitress, who was not the one serving me, came screaming, saying how rude I was for bringing my own water to a restaurant. I calmly explained to her that I've bought the water and showed her the bottle. I explained my child liker her pink bottle. She continued screaming, saying that even so, this was unacceptable. I decided not to try to understand and asked for the check and left. So sad, I liked the place.

A Fantastic Wedding at Gasterij Vuurland After a long search for a suitable location for our wedding, we ended up at Gasterij Vuurland. What a good choice! The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic from the start. They were always willing to think along and gave us valuable advice. The location itself is beautiful and well cared for, exactly what we had in mind. The food was of high quality and was enjoyed by all our guests. What was particularly striking was how well the team responded to our wishes. They really contributed to us having an unforgettable day. If you are looking for a nice place for a special occasion, we can definitely recommend Gasterij Vuurland.

A beautiful place in itself. But mainly aimed at children. The food is good. But here too, like everywhere else, the prices are almost expensive.

This will be a wonderful place with small children, you can sit outside with a view of the children playing. However, we were with a group and were going to do the VR murder game. It was a sunny day and we were seated inside at a long table in the full sun. It became very hot but the windows could not be opened. We were not allowed to go to another place or go outside even though the restaurant was not full. It was probably good for the bar turnover, but the heat really ruined the whole dinner. I blame the staff for not thinking flexibly with us. The killing spree wasn't great. It was a bit of here you have it and figure it out. I think that could be designed better. For example, 1 room for starter, second room between starter and dinner, etc. More structured and also better supervised. But staff will probably not have time for this. Food was not of high quality. Carpaccio did not taste fresh and was sick during the night. Dessert very tasty.

Yes, the food was really mediocre, but a fun experience for children. I also enjoyed playing laser tag! Play corner with animation that really suits the kids.

We were here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary with our dearest people Beautiful and importantly very clean place with an excellent and affordable menu. The play area for the children was great. The 3 year old grandsons had a great time there and it was also nice to have supervision! We had a super nice young lady who served us and who thought along with us about a change in the 12 hour that had both meat, fish and vegetarian options! Thanks to her, the afternoon was more than successful. All in all, I would like to give it a 5! Stars and the bill for 13 people wasn't too bad! We will definitely come back Thank you

one of the worst places I've been. After reserving a table for the ground floor we are sent to the first floor and the waitress, who is not happy with my request for an baby chair, points to the floor below and tells me that I can help myself. with the 16 month old baby in my arms I go down the stairs and take the baby chair myself. in the meantime the very kind waitress want takes my friend's order and I wasn't even ON THE TABLE. we were told that it was not allowed to give the food (raisins and biscuits) to the child because it was not bought there. 16 month old child. Don't ever go there, the worst place I've been. Horrible place where go with your child friends and family. 15 euros worse expenses in life.

Reservation was processed as expected, the place is awesome for kids, the food is good and the staff is kind and well trained. A suggestion would be to add a TV, during the EK, so parents can watch the games while kids play and wives chat. Awesome place. Kids loved it.

Great restaurant and especially good with children because of the many play options. Parking is super easy and spacious. Upon arrival we were asked about the reservation. We didn't have that, we came spontaneously, which was a bit strange, even though it wasn't very busy. Finally we were able to take a seat. This could be a bit more customer-friendly in my opinion. The service was then friendly and fast. They are clearly used to groups and are flexible. It also goes very well with small children, so that's great. The restaurant has a nice appearance with all the wood details. The food has excellent taste and appearance. For the price, I would expect the portions on the lunch menu to be slightly larger. The pancakes are nice and big. I would definitely come back here, especially considering how child-friendly it is.

Super verjaardag gehad voor mijn 12 jarig zoontje!! Lazergamen was leuk eten was heerlijk en de dame die de leiding had, volgens mij was haar naam Beau was fantastisch!! Zeker een aanrader. Tot de volgende keer!

Een restaurant waar ik graag kom. Ze houden enorm rekening met voedsel allergieën. Hebben een ruime kaart voor alle gerechten. Met de vegetarische mensen wordt ook rekening gehouden en hebben ze een ruime kaart. Kinderen kunnen lekker spelen zowel binnen als buiten. Ben je met je partner en wil je iets rustiger zitten kan je op een verhoging zitten. Ouders met kinderen zitten beneden waardoor de kinderen lekker kunnen spelen. Een restaurant waar we zeker vaker heen gaan

A spa red from a pkastic 1.5 liter bottle of spa red tapped in front of you costs 3.5 euros. Requested an ice cream (twister?) original round but it was flat and had more ice crystals than ice itself, wanted to exchange it but we were waved at... We don't go there voluntarily anymore...

Nice location for lunch, plenty of entertainment for children

We had a wedding there and it was well organized and the food was delicious.

I ate delicious fresh meat here. A piece of juicy beef and a small burger, but I didn't like that as much. Little taste. A bit pricey! But the service and staff were also great! You get a 5 star rating from me.

Beautiful and cozy location. Dishes are meager. As mentioned often here. Staff can be a little smoother at times and a little less sociable with each other. With an open kitchen, it is annoying to see that your waiter is chatting with the chef while you have been sitting with an empty plate in front of you for a while...

Vriendelijke humoristische ontvangst.Zeer klachtgerichte bediening. De kleinkinderen( 7 en 11 jaar) konden heerlijk binnen en buiten ravotten.Ze waren moeilijk mee naar huis te krijgen. Prima menu kaart en zeer smaakvol opgediend.Eten was lekker. Absoluut een aanrader om met kinderen leuk en lekker te tafelen. Een minpuntje! De buitendeur naar de speeltuin ging steeds open, dat gaf steeds een koude stroom naar binnen.

Had a very special experience... short version: real candles on the table in a child-friendly restaurant? We had put this aside for the children. Then a jacket/vest rolled on top of the candle and it caught fire. I was completely surprised and huh, what happened to me. Fellow guests came to help me and the employees continued to watch from a distance. I sent an email saying that I thought it was strange that they didn't come to help. Answer: you should have hung your coat on the coat rack and/or blown out the candle…. 🤷🏽‍♀️ (I know it's my own fault, but if the whole tent had burned down they would of course come😂😂) the name says it all. For the rest it was super fun and enjoyable!

Very nice place to go with kids. The playgrounds are supervised, so you can also catch up. Laser gaming on the weekend. Food is child friendly and adult good. Very nice service. Save coins for gifts, but miss the sustainable option (China plastic, is that still possible?).

Alleen de carpaccio was lekker. Kipsaté was nog te rood. Het nagerecht liet een uur op zich wachten. Men kan een grote groep niet aan. Het VR moorddiner duurde te lang. Het uitserveren liep in het honderd. Tweede wijntje kwam niet. Na aangegeven te hebben bij een derde ronde dat mijn tweede wijntje er nog niet was. Daarna kwamen twee serveersters apart van elkaar nogmaals de bestelling opnemen. Het nagerecht was véél te zoet. Vond het niet lekker. Ben teleurgesteld in dit avondje uit met mijn collega's. Zou zeker geen aanbeveling doen hier te eten. Verschrikkelijk!! Heb mij kapot geërgerd aan de slome opeenvolging van de gangen.

Bad experience. Christmas pub quiz was quite fun but took way too long! We have been inside for more than three hours and have had a mini starter. You had to pay attention otherwise it would blow off your plate while we were inside. Not even tasty. There was more than an hour and a half between the starter and main course. Of course I understand that the quiz had to be done, but this was really too long. In the meantime, they continue to walk around with alcohol. Which is good in itself, but I had the idea: They drink you rich... The young girls in the service try very hard and do a good job. The older ones take the glasses off the table several times while they are still half full. Happened 4 times. The employees in the kitchen are very bored. It doesn't get more hygienic there either. Rubbing cloths in the eyes and ears and yawning in the black gloves. Main course was okay in taste and quantity, but the portion of fries was laughably small for 4 people. Dessert was a hard piece of brownie and a chemical tasting jar. Sorry I can't make it much better.

Wonderful place! Especially when you have children up to the age of 10/11. It is busy, not only all tables occupied, but also in terms of votes. Lots of loud talking because there are children playing. Keep this in mind if you think you want to eat in peace. The service is very good and the main course (I had a round steak) was incredibly tasty! Just the way the knife slid through it. The Vitello Tonato there and then was not tasty. Unfortunately this was without the Tonato and that ensures the good taste combination. I love this dish and have enjoyed several, unfortunately not this one. This is supposed to be a tuna mayonnaise with capers, but unfortunately it wasn't there. There was too much greenery, especially arugula, and that didn't improve the taste, unfortunately. Otherwise we had a very friendly server and we really enjoyed it. So we will definitely come back, but for a different starter 😉. Thanks for a nice evening anyway! Updated version December 3, 2023: Received a very nice table for our daughter who turned 10. Being able to dine deliciously and comfortably with 9 and later 10 people. We were given a room and received super nice and great help from the waitress. Playing laser tag for the children between meals was a perfect way for them to lose some energy. They also really enjoyed watching a movie upstairs after dinner. Once again we had a really wonderful evening. Thank you also for the attention and good care. We look forward to seeing you again next time! 😊

Ideaal als je kleine kinderen hebt. Ze kunnen binnen of buiten spelen, voor de allerkleinsten is er zelfs iemand die oplet. Echter de kwaliteit van het eten is laag. Er is slechts één vegetarische optie, die niet veel verandert over tijd, en de spareribs waren nauwelijks gemarineerd. Er zit ook geen/nauwelijks groente bij de gerechten (behalve de vegetarische).

Vriendelijke bediening en service gericht. Lekker gegeten!

Redelijke ervaring, zal met jonge kinderen ideaal zijn. Zelf zou ik niet snel meer heen gaan. Bij aankomst tafels vol zand (gewoon binnen) geen uitleg bij voorgerecht Bourgondische plank. Biefstuk was doorbakken, hier een nieuwe voor gekregen, het nadeel was dat hierna de rest van de tafel al klaar met eten was. Bediening vriendelijk, maar laat soms wel op zich wachten.

Nice place to come with your kids. We ordered a burger but was raw inside so we send it back. Pulled chicken was nice. Also had some glass of wine and normal drinks. But services was not that great. But hé it was more for the kids than for the adults :) No pic without the kids, so i didn't at one. But I added a picture of a nice deal that i saw going to the restroom there. I am certainly coming back to do that without the kids 😉

een heerlijk restaurant waar echt ook aan de kinderen gedacht wordt. uiteraard kom je als volwassen aan niets te kort. het eten is er voortreffelijk. wij komen er aan ook heel erg graag. enige wat jammer is dat het enkel open is op vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag.

Heerlijk gegeten met de kinderen. Echt gericht op kleine kinderen met speelplaats. Erg rumoerig. Maar dat is als kleine kinderen er rond hobbelen. En heerlijk kunnen spelen.

Paasbrunch gedaan met 5 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Buffet heel goed, personeel top en (kinder)vermaak goed georganiseerd. Belangrijk minpunt is dat je ondanks de stevige all in prijs die je betaalt, de cappuccino en frisdranken apart moet bijbetalen ook nog eens zonder dat dit er bij wordt verteld. Zelfs voor kinderdrankjes als limonade, Fristi en appelsap! Jammer.

Wat een feest voor groot en klein. En nog belangrijker, je betaald je eten en drinken. Alle animatie is gratis.

Eetschuur, ingesteld op grote gezelschappen. Ik was hier met een vriendenclub en we hebben ons prima vermaakt tot aan sluitingstijd (22:00 uur). Wij waren de laatste gasten en het personeel liet niet blijken dat ze ook wel eens naar huis wilden; netjes 👌. Eten was aan de prijs, zeker gezien de afgemeten porties zoals bijv. slechts 1 stokje bij de kipsaté. Garnering en frites maakte een hoop goed, evenals het nagerecht. Heineken en Skuumkoppe van het vat.

Echt een topplek. Ideaal met kinderen.. speelruimte genoeg, lasergamen op zaterdag en aan het einde van de avond een klein cadeautje uitzoeken. Eten is echt heel erg lekker, fijne sfeer, de zaak is smaakvol ingericht, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Dikke aanrader :)

Wat een heerlijke plek met jonge kinderen een hapje te eten. Wij waren heel erg verrast door de vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Er is een hele leuke klim en klauterhoek, waar zelfs toezicht aanwezig was. Complimenten voor deze jongedame, wat maakt zij leuk contact met de kinderen. Erg leuk dat de kinderen na afloop iets kunnen uitzoeken met hun verdiende muntjes. Goedkoop is het allemaal niet, maar dat is in deze tijd geen verrassing meer. Je krijgt wel echt een hele prettige, relaxte avond voor terug!
