I had a wonderful evening at the Gildehuis. Unique dishes that were incredibly flavorful. The price-quality ratio was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the sharing platters. The service was also impeccable. It was a very pleasant experience and I definitely recommend it!

A strange sharing concept with portions that are difficult to share (small and not conveniently served). The service was clumsy, and we often had to wait a long time for drinks. The food was generally good. Only the venison steak was too sinewy. The portions are small. The price for one dish is reasonable. However, you should order three or four dishes to have enough. This makes the whole thing expensive.

More of a place for dinner than for lunch. It was very tasty with a nice glass of wine.

The chef is always right, but the dish was truly awful, even disgusting, yet it wasn't removed from the bill. Four guests will never return. Such a shame.

Too bad, really not a pleasant experience. Besides the small portions for these prices, we didn't like the loaded shrimp. They were still half-raw. The waitress took them away and advised us to order the fried shrimp. Indeed, they were overcooked, nothing special, just greasy. Except for the times we wanted a drink, the staff came to our table ten times, notepad in hand, asking if we wanted another drink... sorry, our glass was still full. I understand that turnover is important, but this felt more than a nuisance and certainly not desirable. The prawns were included on the bill; according to the waitress, because we had taken a bite. Duh... how else can I judge whether they're good? The main course, the tenderloin, is a piece of meat of max. 50 grams... a bit on the small side. We paid a total of €149.80 for a meal for two people. There are better places in Eersel offering better value for money.

Very tasty... but too small portions for me.

Just had a drink. It's also perfectly fine. It's a bar, after all. I unexpectedly got a small wine tasting and learned a lot. Great atmosphere!

It's a nice restaurant, and the food is delicious. They do assume you order multiple appetizers. Just having a main course and dessert won't leave you feeling satisfied, which immediately drives up the price. There's a long gap between courses, probably to increase the number of drinks. That wait isn't very pleasant. The restaurant is probably better suited for larger groups who have two to three hours to spare. But it's delicious nonetheless.

Upon arrival, you are politely escorted to a table of your choice. Throughout the evening, you are asked at appropriate times if you would like another drink and if you have already made a selection from the menu. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, such as the different cheeses on a cheese board. This personal touch makes the experience extra enjoyable. The Food The restaurant operates with a semi-tapas concept, where you choose between three and five smaller dishes throughout the evening. The portions are deliberately smaller, allowing you to sample a variety of flavors. There is a wide selection of dishes, including special options for sharing. While the menu is generally varied, it's a shame there's only one soup on the menu. Fortunately, there's a wide range of delicious dishes for vegetarians, making the restaurant also suitable for groups with various dietary requirements.

We enjoyed it here; the food was delicious and the service was very friendly. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

What a nice place! You get the Brabant coziness from the service, some friendliness. It is very attractive inside, and outside there is a lovely garden where you can enjoy the sun. Highly recommended!

after 2 good dishes for dessert I had a pear with sabayon / everything was except sabayon / after reporting this I received a 'froth', but no sabayon at all / very unfortunate, especially considering the good experiences with this building in the past

Poor price-quality ratio. Service: friendly but very slow. Food: OK, nothing special, but you do have to eat three portions, the men between us even five portions. Unfortunately, it is simply too expensive for what is served.

I have enjoyed many tasty and enjoyable meals here for many years, but apparently things have changed. Yesterday our visit was a huge disappointment. I have a garlic allergy, which means that a selected dish (which I had previously eaten without garlic) was no longer possible. No problem. What cannot be done cannot be done. I could choose all the other dishes on the menu. So I opted for Diamond tenderloin with scallops, especially for the scallops. When the dish arrived, the brisket had been replaced by extra vegetables, and even that is possible, but it must be reported in advance. In my foolishness I ate the dish, of course I would have been better off refusing. When I was asked if I had liked it, I said that I really did not agree that the brisket had been replaced by vegetables without prior consultation. To make a long story short: I was offered to serve the brisket with garlic after all. My table companion and I left without finishing our dinner. Of course, the bill has been paid in full, including the steak that was never served. This restaurant is no longer for me

Food was tasty but not enough. Very small portions of fries and main courses, not expensive but not much either. Almost no vegetables with dishes.

We come back here every time. Fantastic food with nice wines and very pleasant staff. Nice interior design and if the weather permits we often sit in the huge backyard in the sun.

Delicious food and friendly service

Had an excellent meal last weekend, although in my opinion too few vegetarian options (options without meat, fish, chicken). Service was good. Service, however, not 5 stars, because I have difficulty with the fact that in a restaurant where I digest well I can only get bottled water (for a fee) and not so-called municipal lager. I'm used to different things in self-respecting restaurants. Another unsolicited piece of advice: provide toilet seat cleaner in the toilets. Very hygienic.

Great meal. The concept is not very favorable for my husband, as he can continue eating. The snacks are all a bit smaller, so you have to order several if you are a big eater, which ultimately makes it on the expensive side and we would rather eat somewhere else for that price.

I don't know what exactly has changed compared to 4-5 years ago, but it was really GREAT! That really wasn't the case years ago and wasn't worth repeating then. Now it is! Delicious food, well prepared and neatly prepared. Sweet, neat and calm service. It's all just a bit better and more exclusive than in an average restaurant, really an evening out and I enjoyed it.

On Valentine's Day (again) we had a delicious meal at the Gildehuis. Everything was great, only the veal carpaccio was tasteless and the blondie was a bit dry, while it should have been nice and soggy. But otherwise it was fine, the service, the atmosphere, etc. Oh yes, we couldn't order pink prosecco by the glass even though it was on the menu. And so we drank pink sparkling from the bottle all evening. Also tasty, but a red wine might have strengthened the carpaccio a bit, so there is room for improvement. We will definitely come back!

Super nice location. Very atmospheric. The service was smooth, neat and likes a joke. Our allergy wishes were also no problem for the kitchen. The honoring was super nice. 'Sharing' done in advance, swapping tasty snacks with each other. Then venison steak as a main course and a starter (pulled duck) as a main course. That was no problem either. The desserts looked and tasted very delicious. We enjoyed the Dutch dumpling, cheese board and vanilla ice cream with ganache and kletshoofd. The only disadvantage is the limited parking facilities in the immediate vicinity. But yes, it is a popular place. 😉

Food: Good but not in the price-quality ratio. Too expensive. Service: We hadn't eaten out yet, but dishes were already being taken away. We quickly asked each other if we wanted something to drink. Got the idea that the order had been given to sell as much as possible. Service and atmosphere are determined by the employees. But they have to be aware of that. Although the concept is fun and surprising, it doesn't work out that way. Guests like to be surprised and welcomed and the host makes the difference. Tip: If a dish is not liked, put a positive spin on it and come back to the guest instead of tasting it in the open kitchen and then doing nothing with it.

Heerlijk gegeten en goede wijnen, vriendelijk en kundig personeel en een hele fijne setting. Mooie en originele kaart met veel keuze. Begonnen met vier kleine gerechten om te delen, daarna gang koude gerechten, daarna gang warme gerechten en afgesloten met chocolade combinatie. We hadden om een tafeltje in een rustige hoek gevraagd omdat mijn moeder ontzettende gehoorproblemen heeft en dit het eerste gezamenlijke etentje in een jaar tijd was, hier was netjes rekening mee gehouden. Wel stond de achtergrondmuziek voor haar nog steeds wat te hard, wat meteen werd opgelost door de speaker boven onze tafel zachter te zetten, dat is nog eens service. We hopen het snel weer over te doen!

Kreeftensoep met gebakken kreeft. Je krijgt een bord met 6 rivierkreeftjes, rauw en koud. Dan komen de serveersters met vazen kreeftenbouillon die ze over de rivierkreeftjes gieten, en daar betaal je 16,95 voor. California sushi roll, 3 stukjes kokend heet en 2 stukjes uit de koelkast. Dat is toch ook niet hoe het hoort. Dus eten Mwah!!!

Zitplaatsen erg dicht bij elkaar. Bediening matig. Het eten was wel goed maar vrij duur voor het geen wat je krijgt

Vandaag een bewogen spannende dag bij de oogkliniek in Eersel! Dit na een doorgemaakt Hersenletsel in eigen horeca zaak na een gewelddadige overval. Ik werd naar de behandeling getrakteerd op een heerlijk diner. Jongens wat een genot zoveel smaken en alles met zorg bereid!! Na zelf 32 jaar kijkervaring kan ik echt iedereen aanraden daar naartoe te gaan want het is er geweldig goed een dikke 10. Ware aanrader voor iedereen alles klopt. Graag tot een volgende keer wij rijden graag een uurtje verder om bij jullie te komen eten want dit vind ik echt het enige restaurant waar ik echt eten krijg! Great place....felt very special !

Eten een dikke prima, porties zijn netjes opgemaakt, niet te groot en bovenal lekker. Bediening is goed en vlot, het restaurant is gezellig druk. Het enige minpuntje (voor mijn partner en ik) de oncomfortabele hoge stoelen, vandaar 4 sterren.

Heerlijk gegeten en super vriendelijk personeel

Ziet er leuk uit. Geen plek om echt te lunchen. Zelfde kaart als in de avond. Mogen ze van tevoren duidelijker aangeven.

Erg goed en gezellig geluncht. Zeker binnenkort weer voor herhaling vatbaar.
