Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere

The service was friendly. We had one minor complaint: the steak was still red and very tough. They said they'd throw it back in the pan, but a little later it came back just as tough and red... a real shame, because we paid for it.

The tables are a bit cramped in some places (privacy), hence the 4-star rating for ambiance. However, the food is excellent and definitely worth the money. Friendly staff and relaxed service allow for some peace and quiet between courses. All in all, highly recommended.

It was delicious again, mussels for 'her', and a perfect saltimbocca for me.

Last week we had a delicious lunch and dinner here. The portions are large and very tasty! Staff likes to think along about making choices and are very friendly. Recommended!

I had a lovely meal here with my mother and sister on a Friday evening before the evening rush. Very friendly staff, extensive menu and good food. The steak was very tender and the black angus hamburger very tasty. Very good price-quality ratio. Real Brabant hospitality.

We regularly have lunch or dinner at t Menneke and you are warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and the interior is neatly maintained. The menu is fairly extensive and has something for everyone. We really like coming here! I have a low-salt diet. The chef and the service are always willing to think along or adjust dishes!

Bread at twelve o'clock is dry and simple

Order large pasta bolognese, and get a child's portion served with Tagliatella Scampi on the bill € 19.95, according to the staff the price is the same. Also order Fried Scampi as a starter but have to pay for it as a main course € 23.50 for a few scampi with dried frozen vegetables that are inedible... Complaints about this are not negotiable, this is the second time I've been screwed there but now it's also the last time, I feel cheated and won't go there again. Wine and water and 1 tea total € 54.15 and hungry to the sandwich bar further on.

It was delicious and we will definitely come back again.

Ate on Boxing Day at 't Menneke with 5 people. Great starter, nothing wrong with it. Main course was clearly less. The meat was almost gone when the fries were served, 1 bowl for 5 people, so about 5 pieces per person. Besides the fact that the fries came so late, they were also very few. Normally, 1 bowl is for two people. The mushroom sauce contained 1 mushroom but a lot of flour, so it was a flour sauce. The dessert, a surprise from the chef, was a chocolate bavarois with a small scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. Not really surprising. No, no really exciting Christmas menu this year. Next time I'll look elsewhere.

Didn't quite receive what I expected (home delivered once but never again) very poor and unfriendly complaint handling Tried to make contact in various ways, blocked via social media, tried through home delivery, but could not get in touch for proper complaint handling. Customer friendliness is hard to find, disappointed, one star is actually still too much for what one deserves.

Small-scale restaurant. Excellent food for a very reasonable price. Plates neatly laid out with a little bit of vegetables. Friendly service. Price/quality perfectly fine.

Delicious food here. The salads are not normal size. Staff is very nice and helpful. When we were there there was 1 other table. That was not very pleasant for the atmosphere. This was partly due to the lighting. It's almost the end of the evening and we can already feel the light. Also highly recommended if you are in the area.

Eersel has many nice dining options. This is definitely one of them 😊. Cozy atmosphere. Onion soup is highly recommended, presentation and taste are excellent. Main courses tasty and with quite a few vegetables.

We had a delicious sandwich, it's a pity that the waiter made us wait so long. Definitely worth repeating.

A friend and I ordered fish and we both got food poisoning afterwards. The fish had no taste and the vegetables were hard. We had to pay 40 euros for it.

I had the pork loin in pepper sauce and that was a 10 out of 10! Really tasty and sufficient. At €21 it's a bit expensive, so one star is deducted.

I was really looking forward to my first portion of mussels. When I opened the jar, the stench was already very bad. We were sitting outside so I thought I'd give it a shot. However, after eating 4-5 mussels, the taste and smell was unbearable. I tried to report this very quietly, after which I asked for the mussels to be taken away. They asked if I wanted something to drink and I had a mint tea. When paying the bill I was presented with €32 for the jug of mussels. A lot of money for 1kg of mussels, but certainly for a portion of bad mussels. When I made a comment, she indicated that she could only deduct 1/2 of the price because I had actually eaten the mussels. In my opinion this only made matters worse as I believe that I would NOT have wanted to taste the mussels and this would not have been necessary if the chef had done his job. In the end she took the cost of €32 off the bill.

Today we had lunch here, I had a pan of stew with fries. In itself it was tasty but not special and the portion of fries was also very small, for 16.50 I expected a little more. I drank an ice tea with it and unfortunately it was no longer available. The staff was super friendly and the place looked great.

Leuke stopplaats voor een hapje en drankje

Leuk plekje met waar voor je geld, zo wil je het hebben als je ergens gaat lunchen.

Rondje aan het wielrennen en hier koffie gedronken. Niet gegeten.

De groente was niet zo ! leek een beetje diepvries groenten het vlees was lekker. Maar het was niet zo een bijzondere tent. De Wijn was lekker maar dat is overal zo. Bediening was prima aardige meiden.

Simpele maar lekkere gerechten. Binnen en buiten eten, uitzicht op de mooie markt. Fijn personeel.

Wir waren hier heute spontan essen. Ich war zuerst durch die letzten Bewertungen verunsichert, wir haben uns aber dann doch dafür entschieden. Und was soll ich sagen? Es war super. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Vielen Dank!

Ich habe ein Schnitzel mit Pilzsauce bestellt, die Pommes sehr lecker, das Schnitzel war gut, war aber quadratisch, ein Schnitzel ? Die Pilzsauce, nicht so doll und drei kleine Pilze drin. Dazu , als Beilage, Kaisergemüse, gekocht, ohne was dabei , Sauce oder gewürzt oder so. Deswegen das Essen nur drei Sterne. Sonst alles prima!

Voor de eerste keer daar gegeten eerlijk is eerlijk alles was lekker 3 gangenmenu. Vriendelijk personeel weten hoe ze moeten uitserveren het was gezellig kom et zeker nog een keer terug.

Erg lekker geluncht. De bediening was wat aan de trage kant en vergat onze bestelling. Verder lekker zitten op het terras met goede sfeer.

Beetje druk met langsrijdend verkeer. Bediening vlot en vriendelijk. Prijs redelijk.

Heerlijk in het zonnetje gegeten op doorreis. Stop meer dan waard. Uitzicht op het langzaam voorbij rijdende verkeer en lekkere gerechten. Wat wil je nog meer?

Heerlijke vissoep en voor twee personen mosselen gegeten. Mijn vrouw vond de tomatensoep met schnitzel heerlijk. Ik raad wel aan om een reservering te doen. Een echte aanrader.

Erg gezellig restaurant met goed eten voor een betaalbare prijs en aardig personeel. Wel wat krap binnen. En toen wij er waren was het er binnen aardig op temperatuur. Glutenvrij zie de rest van mijn review.

We zochten glutenvrij eten voor onze dochter. Toen we dat aangaven werd er met ons meegedacht wat ze kon eten. Heel fijn!

Leuk restaurant met mooi terras. Lunch kaart is goed en broodje carpaccio is een aanrader.

Prijs/kwaliteit prima in orde. Op de menukaart stond Atlantische tong. Vroeg aan de bediening of dit sliptong of zeetong was. Moest hij even vragen. Kwam terug en gaf aan dat op de verpakking alleen stond Atlantische tong. en dat men verder niet wist wat voor soort tong dit was. Toch maar genomen en moet zeggen het smaakte voortreffelijk. Tijdens onze vakantie zijn we daar toch een aantal keren neergestreken op het terras. Gemoedelijke bediening, gezellig terras en zeker niet duur te noemen. We hebben heerlijk gegeten daar.

We stonden op camping Ter Spegelt en zochten een lekker restaurantje en dat hebben we gevonden. We hebben heerlijk gegeten met ons gezinnetje. De service is ook helemaal top. Als we weer op Ter Spegelt staan komen we zeker weer een keer langs
