Gastrovino La Liguria - Market in Wijk 07 Scheveningen

We sat on the terrace here earlier and enjoyed a delicious wine. We came back today because we wanted to take a bottle home, but we couldn't remember which one it was... I walked over to one of the hosts, and he remembered exactly which wine it was 😱 We were then helped by Maxime, who really took his time with us and even gave us a pecan truffle tip. In short, delicious products, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and a beautiful shop (and a lovely restaurant). Highly recommended!

Delicious food. The bread and pizza crust are exceptionally good. Fantastic wines. Friendly and efficient service. A nice little shop with a deli, cheeses, meats, desserts, as well as tableware, soaps, pasta dishes, and wines.

Definitely a hidden gem in The Hague. Beautiful restaurant and gourmet store. Food is very fresh, delicious and nicely plated. A must-try Italian restaurant if you are in the area.

We often come to Gastrovino. The food is excellent, the staff super friendly and professional, wine selection is great with many beautiful Sicilian options and the place is tasteful, spacious, luminous and very welcoming with a nice veranda and a terrasse. Last but not least : the Italian enoteca (also sells food) where you can buy the wine you tried at the restaurant … and more.

Great restaurant with an attached delicatessen. We went there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The antipasti were of high quality and very tasty. The wine selection was, as expected, extensive. The ambiance and service were good!

The best proof of the quality of the dishes served is in the attached half-dozen pictures; plan to spend at least 2 hours and 3 hours would be best!

Nice restaurant, sunny terrace and Italian shop. Super nice service. Located in the old lock keeper's house and has been beautifully renovated. Only stopped for a drink, will eat next time.

Beautiful location with beautiful and cozy conservatory. It's a pity that the temperature rises there because of the sun, but even more annoying that the sharp sun shines in your face. A few Roman blinds could solve that. Food is fine, 2 course lunch incl. glass of prosecco for 39.50. Not cheap, but excellent quality. It turned out that for that money there was also dessert included. I would recommend it as a 3 course lunch even though the first course consists of anti pasto to share.

On February 24, we celebrated our twins' 21st birthday with 8 people. With the chef's table including wine package for 5 courses, we were taken through the vineyards and the delicious cuisine of Italy with our own salmonier. A pesar de haber estado cerca varias veces, nunca habíamos aprovechado la oportunidad para visitar este impresionante lugar — hasta esta semana. ¡Ojalá lo hubiéramos descubierto antes! Nuestra experiencia gastronómica fue nada menos que excepcional. El menú, aunque pequeño, fue cuidadosamente cuidado, ofreciendo una selección de platos simples pero bellamente hechos con los ingredientes más frescos. Cada plato no solo era una delicia para el paladar, sino también un festín para los ojos, mostrando un equilibrio perfecto de sabores y presentación. Para colmo, el servicio fue excepcional. El personal era atento, acogedor y bien informado, lo que nos hace sentir verdaderamente valorados como huéspedes. De principio a fin, nuestra visita fue memorable, ¡y no podemos esperar a volver!

We were too early on January 16, as it was not yet 12 o'clock, but the friendly young lady let us in, referred us to the store as a tip and said that she had a table afterwards. She was also looking for a charger for my wife's phone. It turned out that we had been received by Alessia Piacenza, daughter of one of the founders of this beautiful establishment. Referring that was a good choice, because since our own daughter imports organic delicacies from Sardinia, we didn't need olive oil or pasta. But there was such a beautiful water jug... You understand; it cost money. Smart girl, that Alessia We then had a delicious lunch, perfect lasagna and tartare. And that Foccacia! In addition: an excellent matching wine, good temperature inside that wonderfully beautiful conservatory. Parking was possible next to the door! Recommended! What ? You MUST visit here once. In any case, we will definitely come back

We passed here by chance and went straight in. Nice little shop with a counter & also sweets. The cannoli were very tasty. Unfortunately, the seller was unfriendly and stood at the entrance like a bouncer with an evil eye.

A fantastic range of wines from many countries. Everything to set a beautiful table with plates, bowls and carafes. If you are looking for a nice gift, you will find it here. Everything housed in a tastefully decorated room, which leads to the restaurant with conservatory and terrace. Nice seating areas at the bar, round table or a nice sofa where you can also sit with a larger group of guests. The food is served with knowledge: various delicious dishes of frutti di mare or a nice piece of meat. You can, as we did, coincide with a wine tasting. Very nice, a passionate explanation from the restaurant chef who is also the person to make a choice together from the wine bible! Service is of paramount importance to enthusiastic employees, who made it an unforgettable evening for us. Not to forget the artists in the kitchen, who presented us with a mouth-watering 4-course menu. If you fancy a pinsa, this is also possible. You want to experience this! The best Italian in The Hague and surrounding areas!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Es wurde eher aus Zufall ausgesucht. Wir waren beeindruckt. Das Ambiente ist eine absolute 1. Man sitzt egal wo total gemütlich. Der Kellner war kompetent und freundlich, die Speisen der absolute Hammer. Gute Qualität wurde in tolle Gerichte umgewandelt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Het eten was goed. En daar draait het in eerste instantie toch om. Bediening vriendelijk en deskundig, maar helaas niet nederlandstalig. Sfeer ook prima, ook al ligt t n beetje verscholen tussen allerlei nieuwbouw. Maar t historische gebouw zelf is fraai.

Very nice restaurant. It looks attractive, the staff is very attentive and enthusiastic (but genuinely special) and the food is very good. Price-quality certainly not bad either. Also a plus, all drinks are only really Italian, so no Fanta etc, but the Italian substitutes add something, I like it! The only disadvantage for me was that, as a 22 year old guest, the pasta portion was simply too little, even though I had had an extensive lunch 3 hours before. I think that's a shame, but I still recommend it.

Gastrovino La Liguria is not your average Italian restaurant. The composition of the chef's menu with perfectly matching wine pairing really surprised us. Especially the asparagus prepared with a delicious sauce with pieces of eel and the risotto fruit de mer were excellent! The dinner, which we received as a gift from the children for our 45th wedding anniversary, had an extra special touch because of the personal and cheerfully caring service by our host Bas! We would love to come back here!

This was our first time dining at this restaurant. Location and interior are great. Food was fresh and tasty. Can’t say the same about the service. The waiter (seemed to be the manager) was really unfriendly the moment we entered the place and started asking about the lunch menu. He didn’t explain how it works clearly and when we ordered one lunch menu, instead of two he got pissed and didn’t try to hide it. We approached him later again to ask about our main and asked why he’s so irritated to what he replied that he explained the menu to us 3 times but we still don’t understand. That is not true because it wasn’t clearly explained to us. Even if we don’t understand, we are clients, we pay for our food and if we need an extra explanation I don’t see a problem and that is not an excuse to be acting so pissed and unfriendly. I’ve worked as waiter myself and it’s a shame to be treating your clients this way. We ended up asking for our main to be packed to go, didn’t want to spend any more time in this unfriendly environment, felt like an intruder.

Once again we had an excellent meal here: Ligurian cuisine at its finest, beautifully and sympathetically presented - this restaurant is worth a trip!!

Gastrovino La Liguria is not an average restaurant, partly due to the presence of an attractive shop/caterer. This also applies to the menu, which lacks most of the average dishes of an Italian restaurant. Everything is on average a class better at Gastrovino, but that does not apply to everything. The steak tartare with truffle is probably not coarsely cut by hand, but appears to have been ground by machine. The structure was a bit soft and lacked a 'bite'. Nevertheless, the taste was very good. The Fregola al frutti di mare, a pasta-like dish with seafood, was quite boring. A small piece of octopus here and there, 5 or 6 shrimps and some pickled mussels (!) were prepared rather sparingly. Enough pasta but little seafood. The taste was okay but not enough to make me want to come back. A starter with various Italian meats, artichoke, olives and dried tomatoes was delicious. The olive oil served at the table was also soft, fruity and aromatic. The meat specialty of the day was a large sirloin steak. It was very tasty and excellently prepared. The fat edge and the streaky meat ensured a non-dry, tender and above all tasty piece of meat that even reminded me of Wagyu. You rarely get a sirloin steak this good. Finally, the tiramisu is not convincing. It is easy to make it better. Shame . The double espresso was remarkably good. I ordered almond cookies with that. These various filled cookies were also particularly tasty and, together with the spicy excellent espresso, actually formed a perfect desert for me. The ambiance, decor and friendly service were also excellent. In short, it was worth it, although some points need to be added here and there. For example, I don't understand those sour mussels from a jar in the dish. This restaurant certainly has the potential to take another step forward. That requires a little more attention to a number of details.

Sat on this cozy terrace on Saturday with 10 degrees. But because they have glass wind screens, it has become a suntrap, so you can sit there even though the temperature is not yet great. The food is delicious. The wines and limoncello spritz wonderful. And the service tops it off. Truly La Liguria brings summer Italy to Scheveningen in March.

Nice place, Friendly service Prices ok

Rarely have I experienced such an unfriendly sommelier who was annoyed by 3 children playing who were only enthusiastic They didn't break anything or touch anything or throw anything on the floor! Add to that the mediocre and expensive food, this was an evening to quickly forget! We were 10 adults to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as mentioned, 3 children. I thought Italian was synonymous with warmth and hospitality and family!! Unfortunately not here!! For me this was the first and last time!

Unique Italian restaurant, wine shop, caterer in a special location near the North Sea and the Scheveningen harbour. The decor is tasteful and the atmosphere and food are excellent.

I would like to concur with the good experiences. At least I can share this. In addition to the quality of the food, I pay attention to the ambiance and the cordiality of the hostess. There is nothing to argue about. I already think it's fantastic in the winter and I'm curious to see what it will be like in the summer with an undoubtedly cozy terrace. Something that is definitely worth exploring.

Jammer. Zo geweldig begonnen en nu is alleen de prijs nog overgebleven en de vriendelijke serveerders. Maar het eten is t niet meer. Ik ging hier regelmatig heen en nam veel mensen mee omdat t zo goed was. Dat zal ik niet meer doen. Ik gaf aan dat een gerecht smakeloos was en kreeg terug dat ik de eerste was met een klacht. Duh. Mensen klagen niet maar komen gewoon nooit meer terug. Een klacht is n kadotje voor n goed restaurant. Ontzettend jammer maar de tijd van dit restaurant is voorbij. Mijn regelmatige komst met mijn familie en vrienden dus ook

We zijn hier met een groep gaan lunchen. Erg lekker gegeten. De zalm was erg goed en een mooie hoeveelheid. Personeel erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Ons zoontje van 1 kreeg ook leuke aandacht. Hij kon ook af en toe zonder problemen even rond kruipen. Kom er zeker nog een keer terug

Heerlijke avond, eten is echt amazing met huigemaakte burrata’s, mozzarella’s en pasta’s. Fijne ambiance en personeel dat hun werk heel leuk vindt, niet geheel onbelangrijk als je ergens gaat eten. Ik kom zeker terug..

Veel te prijzig voor wat krijgt, prima producten maar niet heel bijzonder. Ik had een broodje mortadella en dat was alleen wat brood, vlees en zongedroogde tomaatjes. €20,00.

Prachtige plek mooie sfeervolle inrichting. Hebben hier met een groep gegeten en hadden een 3 gangen keuze menu wat helaas voor de prijs erg tegen viel. Te weinig waardoor er nog wat mensen trek hadden na het eten, lijkt mij niet de bedoeling als je zulke prijzen vraagt.

Prima tent. Lekker gegeten. Beetje aan de prijzige kant. Maar de kwaliteit van het eten is goed. Dus het is het wel waard. Echt Italiaans is het niet. Meer Italiaans voor de Hollandse mond. Maar niet voor de Hollandse portemonnee!!! Whahaha!!! Wel allemaal hele leuke en lieve mensen die er werken.

Afgelopen vrijdagavond voor het eerst bij dit mooie restaurant gegeten. Dit beviel ons zeer. Bij aankomst konden we op de parkeerplaats naast het restaurant makkelijk parkeren. Bij binnenkomst konden we alvast een glimp opvangen van de open keuken en een deel van de eigen winkel met echte Italiaanse producten. We kregen een mooi tafeltje aangeboden tegenover de mooie wijn voorraad die achter glas stond. Toen wij de menukaart kregen viel het ons op dat het vol stond met niet de “standaard” Italiaanse gerechten, wat wij juist erg leuk vonden. We hadden als 1ste gang 3 voorgerechten gekozen om te delen. Die ons alle 3 erg bevielen net als de 2 hoofdgerechten (zie foto’s). Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk tegen ons en achteraf hebben wij nog 2 echte Italiaanse zeepjes gekocht in het winkeltje. Erg geslaagd en zeker een aanrader!

Wat kan je hier ongelooflijk goed eten. Wij zaten aan de chefs_ table en je kon zo de keuken in kijken. Bij ieder gerecht een geweldige wijn. Zelfs een gerecht waar koude rode wijn bij hoorde. Wel eens geproefd??? Niet normaal lekker. Al het personeel zo aardig, dit kom je nog maar weinig tegen. Kortom een dikke 10 !!

Vooraf veel goede verhalen, helaas viel het "live" een beetje tegen. Eerst in restaurant, helaas alleen op zondag werd er een Italiaans menu geserveerd, 40 euro pp, Dat vonden wij het niet waard. Namen dubbele espresso en een latte, Lavazza koffie, rekenden 8,50 (!) af, niet eens een glaasje water bij koffie. Prima als je deze prijzen rekent maar dan moet alles wel top zijn en presentatie een 10. Inrichting wel super , daarna naar delicatessen winkel , ziet er echt aantrekkelijk uit maar erg overpriced. Leuk concept, slecht uitgevoerd.

We looked for a place to eat lunch on sunday and accidentaly came across here,as a vegeterian i was a bit worried about the fixed menu but it was delicous. absolutely amazing food and service, the staff is very kind and always cheking in on you. the duo playing the guitars and singing really made the atmosphere perfect.

Het personeel spreekt voor een deel italiaans en engels. Er zijn gelukkig wel Nederlandse serveerders indien je geen engels spreekt. De namen van de gerechten zijn enkel in het italiaans, waardoor het lastig is om te zien wat een gerecht precies is. De 'njuda pasta viel wat tegen maar de pesto di pa was wel lekker. Wel een mooie sfeer. Er zijn 5 parkeerplaatsen waar je gratis kan parkeren, wees dus op tijd.

Very nice food, great decor, very friendly staff. All in all a great meal. I had the 4 course .meal with wine pairing, each meal had an explanation as to why the wine was paired.
