Geronimo Food & Wine – Christmas Dinner We had Christmas dinner here tonight. We drove over forty minutes and found it through TheFork. It turned out to be a very good choice. The food was of a high standard. Everything you expect from a Michelin-starred dinner: balanced flavors, refined techniques, and a calm, thoughtful progression of the courses. Every dish was perfect. The wine pairings were perfectly matched to the menu. Not too heavy, not too safe, but perfectly complementing what was on the plate. That demonstrates knowledge and sensitivity. What was particularly striking was the focus: no unnecessary show, no fuss, but attention to quality and taste. That's impressive, especially at Christmas. For this level of experience, we'd happily drive an extra 80 kilometers. We will definitely be back.

Went to dinner with clients last week and were pleasantly surprised. True Brabant hospitality, as it should be. We had the fine dining menu, and every course was delicious and beautifully presented. I'll be back here again soon.

We had a stop during the glow route. What we got was good; it was impressive to get everything on the table with a group larger than 30 people.

What a fantastic establishment. Everything is perfectly balanced. The staff is incredibly friendly. The flavors are excellent. A lovely atmosphere.

We went for dinner with the Amex package. It was a two-course surprise menu. We received a pleasant welcome. The food was sublime. The service was very smooth. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, but if you pay over €100 per person, you hope to have eaten, not to go elsewhere because you're still hungry. So, in that sense, definitely not recommended. There are several truly good restaurants where you can leave the table feeling satisfied. For example, De Romario.

A warm welcome on the terrace with heated cushions. Very friendly staff and an excellent chef with surprising dishes. We will definitely be back for a more extensive dinner. You have to try and see this. The presentation was also a feast for the eyes.

The three-course surprise menu was exceptionally well-prepared and delicious. Perhaps the desserts and coffees were a little less appealing.

We had a great experience with the AMEX dining for 2 special. The optional 3rd course was a nice addition to the set menu. Also the wine list had various great options from all over the world. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant in the Dommelstraat. We could sit outside with the nice weather. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the steak and sole. The steak was a little overcooked but the fish was perfect. We enjoyed it and will be back.

Hermosa presentación, pero los sabores carecían de armonía — muy decepcionado Visita hace un año. No quería escribir una reseña demasiado pronto, ya que prefiero reflexionar antes de publicar cualquier cosa que pueda parecer dura. Teníamos muchas ganas de cenar en Geronimo, y la diversión - bouches servidos al principio eran absolutamente deliciosos - un gran comienzo. Optamos por el gran “verrassingsmenu” (menú sorpresa). La presentación fue impresionante, con cada plato bellamente arreglado. Cada ingrediente y salsa, en cada plato, era claramente de alta calidad y sabía bien por sí solo, pero juntos, los sabores a menudo se sentían como si estuvieran compitiendo en lugar de armonizar. Es una lástima, porque el potencial está claramente ahí. Los precios altos son perfectamente aceptables cuando se combinan con una experiencia gastronómica refinada, pero en este caso, el resultado general no cumplió con las expectativas.

The food is good. And it's a good restaurant. The service is good. But I don't leave with the feeling that I've had delicious food and that I'll return. It's delicious, but average.

I ate here once at Christmas, 5 course menu. My wife indicated that she has a shellfish allergy. I was told this was taken into account. The entree was a fish in a light oyster sauce. I once again indicated that my wife is allergic to oysters, this was treated with a laugh and the chef/owner laughed it off and said that there were no shellfish in the oyster sauce (how stupid we were not to know that). My wife ate the food, and 10 minutes later she rushed to the toilet because she had an allergic reaction! Puked it all up in the toilet. So not recommended! Well, it's true, the male owner himself was cleaning up the vomit in the toilet and came back into the restaurant upset. Good luck with managing your restaurant

Amex deal. We hadden via amex o.a. dit restaurant ter optie om te dineren. En wat heerlijk! We hadden 2 gangen van amex, extra Gang moest je voor bij betalen. We namen 3 gangen. Vriendelijke , gezellige bediening Eten echt zalig. Precies genoeg. Heerlijke wijnen. Hoofdgerecht met tournedos precies goed gebakken. We gaan zeker een keer terug. Bedankt voor de fijne avond. Personeel, zowel voor als achter de schermen een dikke pluim!

What an evening! At Geronimo in Eindhoven I ate a 5-course menu that makes you spontaneously fall in love. Those scallops? So good that I forgot what my name was. Every course was a party, the service pleasant without fuss, and the atmosphere was like eating with that one friend who happens to be a star chef. In short: I came for the food, stayed for the scallops… and am now seriously considering moving to a table there.

Today we were guests at 19:00 via American Express Platinum. AMEX offers a 2-course menu worth €100.00 for 2 people via its partners. After reading the reviews on Google, we made a reservation at this restaurant. Upon entering, we were completely ignored. After we walked towards the open kitchen, the fair came to life. We had to scan a QR code immediately and were guided to a table. Then we were given a special card in which we could choose multiple courses for an additional charge. Normally, as we are used to, a two-course menu is sufficient. (starter and main course) sufficient. This was not the case at all at this restaurant. As a starter, we were served two very small pieces of beef loin. I estimate a total of 30-40 grams. I can therefore not call this a starter. I would have served this as an amuse-bouche. Then, right after the starter, we were served the main course. We took a picture of this because it just looks like a child's portion. The main course was a tenderloin of +/- 120 grams with a gravy and some pieces of vegetables. The flavors were good but the portion is really far too small. In addition, they want to come across as very decadent but then forget to ask how the tenderloin should be cooked. For €50.00 per person I would have expected a different portion and/or wanted to order something from their a-la-carte menu. After indicating this, the owner started a discussion with me about everything I found. When I read the Facebook messages from the past, I understand why they want to strip AMEX to the bone!! The result… leaving the restaurant within 55 minutes of arrival with a moderately full stomach. Not something we would do again and this restaurant can really be added to the list of "tourist traps"

Ate on Easter Sunday. It was delicious. We had a number of courses, every course was a party. The taste the layout. Beautiful wines. Atmosphere was perfect and the service top notch. Highly recommended for those who want good food. Big 10

What a fantastic experience! We had such a nice meal here - the atmosphere was really great. From the moment you step in you feel the warm, inviting ambiance. The furnishings have been done with so much attention to detail: stylish, cozy and perfectly balanced. Every corner radiates character. The plates were all beautiful to see. The presentation was refined and creative, almost a shame to eat. But when we started… what flavors! Every dish was simply incomparable. Everything fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with love - you can taste it. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back here!

Excellent food, beautifully presented, quick service. But what was missing was an amuse snack. No sandwich was offered beforehand or in addition to the starter. The coffee was also missing a cookie or chocolate. Very unusual for restaurants of this level.

Voor Valentijn gegaan. Helaas naar 3 gangen weg gegaan. Aangeboden om te betalen voor de gegeten gerechten en gedronken wijnen, maar gingen niet akkoord. Moesten meer dan uur wachten op hoofdgerecht, terwijl wij al de wijn geserveerd kregen. Verder klaag ik nooit snel, maar het leek alsof het rechtstreeks uit de supermarkt kwam. En zeker als je kijkt dat wij €333,- moesten afrekenen. Ik klaag nooit, heb veel restaurants gezien en vind dit eigenlijk wel echt heel heftig. Ook jammer dat ze niet een tegemoetkoming kwamen.

e bediening was vriendelijk, de wijn uitstekend, maar het eten was echt zwaar ondermaats. Wij zijn nog voor het hoofdgerecht vertrokken, nadat we eerst 3 gangen kregen die regelrecht uit de supermarkt kwamen, uitgepakt en omgekiept op een bord, tussen de gerechten zat een uur verschil, de wijn was op voordat het eten er was. Heb bijna €300,- betaald (zie foto)voor iets wat ik 100% zeker beter had kunnen maken en ik had al €50,- aanbetaald ook!! Wat een leuk valentijnsdiner had moeten worden is uitgelopen op een regelrechte teleurstelling!

The service was friendly, the wine excellent, but the food was seriously substandard. We left before the main course, after we first received 3 courses that came straight from the supermarket, unpacked and tipped over on a plate, there was an hour's difference between the dishes, the wine was gone before the food arrived. I paid almost €300 (see photo) for something that I could 100% certainly have made better and I had already paid €50 down too!! What should have been a nice Valentine's dinner turned out to be a complete disappointment!

Wonderful evening with excellent atmosphere, service, dishes and matching wines. Opted for the 5 course dinner. We were asked about allergies or ingredients that we would rather not eat. Was well taken into account. Nice combination of different starters and entrees of fish and meat. Bubbles and (dessert) wine to match the dishes.

our party was recently refused entry for an unclear reason. We would have liked to eat and drink there with a group of 8, but Joost or Arno or whatever they are called nowadays for the Tax Authorities even stood right in front of the entrance... also the staff who work or have worked there are poorly treated or not at all. paid, according to insiders. so no stars for this soup kitchen because we were not even allowed inside. keep it up, Arno-Joost or whatever...

Prima eten, mooi opgediend, vlotte bediening. Maar wat miste was een amuse hapje. Werd ook geen broodje vooraf of naast voorgerecht aangeboden. Bij de koffie ontbrak ook een koekje of bonbon. Zeer ongebruikelijk bij restaurants van dit niveau.

Sla dit restaurant over! Er zijn genoeg andere leukere in Eindhoven. Na met 16 personen een hele avond gezellig gedineerd te hebben krijgen we de rekening gepresenteerd. Naast de €125 per persoon die we moeten afrekenen, moeten we ook betalen voor 1 persoon extra omdat we die pas op de avond zelf hebben afgemeld. Tijdens het diner wordt er geen melding van gemaakt en het extra couvert wordt ook niet op tafel gezet. Erg triest als je zo omgaat met klanten die <€2.000 afrekenen en er verder bijna niemand op de vrijdagavond binnen zat. Op z’n brabants: mee dun leste keer!

I missed little extras such as an amuse or some bread with butter or oil. I thought it was strange that fries or potatoes had to be ordered, this does not really suit a decent kitchen. I expected just that little bit more, the food was very tasty.

The food was good, and the meat was cooked perfectly. The service was very friendly, and the 4-course menu was a nice experience for a one-time try. However, it was a bit noisy, and the wine we wanted was out of stock. The dessert could have been better, but overall, it was still a solid choice for a special occasion!

Had a delicious meal here again. We chose the 4-course menu. All dishes were beautiful and the flavors were original and well matched. Staff was a bit inexperienced but friendly. Two areas for improvement. Serving was done by the waiter, but as a hostess she keeps an eye on the guests' experience and asks about this. Our comment about the dry fish was now ignored. The cheese was very tasty, but it is better to serve it with neutral bread instead of "date bread" with a very specific taste.

I visited the place twice, recently. Somehow the second time we had somewhat better experience. On both occasions it was a business dinner. The first time we were a large group, while the second it was just a handful of us, perhaps that helped.

We were not that happy with the food quality and the service at this restaurant. The food was quite blend for the pice (main dishes around 30-40€). The mussels with the lobster had almost no flavour and the truffle sauce with the beef steak didn't taste like truffle. Also, I asked my Ossenhaas to be cooked well done due to being pregnant and when the meat came, it was medium. I asked to have it well cooked again and they said that the chef had already cooked it at 70° and that even though it was fully pink and a bit bloody it was safe to eat. I insisted since that is not the guidance from the health services and finally they cooked it well done. We will definitely not eat here again and don't recommend it. To answer to the restaurant reply: regardless of being pregnant, what if I want my meat cooked well done? It seems like the chef didn't want to cook it as the customer wants. Also, our friend with the tuffle sauce steak did conplaint to one of your waiters about the lack of truffle so no, the rest did also not enjoy the food.

Been several times. A top restaurant! It's run by a great couple. You can taste love in everything. They are very friendly and passionate. You immediately feel at home. Nothing is too much, everything is possible. And what can this man cook? Hats off. Highly recommended for everyone!

The food was good but everything else was dreadful. The first thing we noticed was the music being overbearingly loud. The second thing was that it took 45 minutes for a drink to come and an hour for the first course out of a 5 course tasting menu It was advertised that there would be live music. For valentines 8pm reservation you expect a piano in the corner or some serenading. What we got was a screeching andre haas impersonator. In total the cost was over 230 for 2 people (a reasonable amount for a nice dinner) but we came out of there feeling like we had just come off the markt for a beer and stampot. With all of the chanting we would have been better off in the McDonalds at 4am. At least then you expect the assault on the senses. We left before finishing the set menu we paid for as we could no longer bear it. Next time at least serve the dinner before turning the place into a dance party. Left the restaurant with ringing in our ears as if we had just come from Stratumseind. And worst of all a bad feeling

We had a last minute booking and luckily they still had a table for us. First impression: the restaurant was small with a nice ambiance. We had to wait for quite some time until we got the menu, after asking for it twice! The same waiter forgot our order so we had to remind him. As a starter we had oysters. They were very fresh, good quality. As side dish we had focaccia with humus. The focaccia served warm, humus was very tasty. We chose for a 3 course menu which consisted of fish and meat. All dishes were very good and presented beautifully. As a restaurant that advertises with the slogan "fine food and wine" the wine selection was very limited. Maybe they have separate wine selection, but we were not offered one. The restaurant was also very noisy, but the owner is aware of that. Overall, great food, not a bad service and we might come back during the week days when it's less crowded.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to! Very unfriendly (I think) manager/owner. When we entered, the starter was already arriving. The dishes were not explained so we only knew half of what we had on our plate. Had to wait over an hour for the first entree. Then even had to ask for the 2nd entree. When we indicated that we found boiled cauliflower with a sour sauce disappointing for a Christmas menu, the lady immediately went on the attack. If we didn't like it, we could also pay for the first 3 courses and then just leave. She literally said "if you are not satisfied I would rather not have you as a guest". Very strange that the staff starts arguing when you politely indicate that the dinner is disappointing. And I haven't even mentioned the inattention yet. Never had such bad service before. They can't even handle feedback. Never again! And definitely NOT recommended!!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve! Delicious food from Bas, Joost and Nicky and fantastic service from Angelique and Demi. Breathable family atmosphere and perfect price-quality ratio!

We had a delicious meal and after some searching we found our place. Definitely recommended in Eindhoven. We enjoyed it.

Super food: Lobster soup and tuna starter CHATEAU Briand alone was worth a 10. A knife was not necessary. Excellent house wines for a nice price Friendly people.

Bij binnenkomst weinig aandacht om aan een tafel te worden gezet. 1,5 uur op het voor- en 2,5 uur op het hoofdgerecht moeten wachten. Ook veelvuldig met lege glazen aan tafel gezeten. Na beklag te hebben gedaan enkel een slap excuus ontvangen. Erg jammer, want het eten was echt wel van uitstekende kwaliteit en heer-lijk... tenminste, zolang beschikbaar (door drukte waren de kwaliteits gerechten "uitverkocht").

Slechte ervaring. Uren moeten wachten op een voorgerechtje. Veel teveel mensen binnen (> 50) met veel te weinig bediening (2) en keukenpersoneel (2). Desondanks lieten ze gewoon steeds mensen binnen die niet hadden gereserveerd. Was geen plek meer, werden aan de bar gezet tot een tafeltje vrij kwam, maar dat gebeurde bijna niet, omdat iedereen lang zat te wachten Het eten was niet bijzonder. Erg duur. Na de 2e gang van mijn man de rekening gevraagd. Ik had pas 1 gang op. Zou nachtwerk worden. Hele avond verpest. Geen enkele tegemoetkoming van het restaurant. Nooit naartoe gaan, tenzij je een hele lange avond op een harde stoel wilt zitten en uren op je eten wilt wachten. Sommige mensen kregen dan eindelijk hun eten, maar dan werd het bestek vergeten en zaten ze alsnog te wachten tot het koud was. Nog nooit zo slecht behandeld door een restaurant.

Matig, wijnen op de kaart vaak niet aanwezig, tussengerecht ook op, na 1,5 uur eindelijk voorgerecht. Chateau Briant was deels rauw.

Gisteravond heerlijk gegeten bij Geronimo. Vanaf de barkruk hebben we met interesse de werkzaamheden van de kok bekeken. Met veel passie en deskundigheid werd ook ons verrassingsmenu klaargemaakt. We hebben genoten van o.a. de heerlijke tonijn en de malse ossenhaas en bijpassende wijn. Ondanks dat het heel erg druk was, was de bediening attent en erg vriendelijk.

Super gegeten. Ossenhaas super goed. Echt geweldig. Fijne sfeer en bediening Prijs kwaliteit meer dan goed

Het verrassingsmenu is een aanrader. Erg goed. Ook qua locatie is het erg fijn zitten. We zaten aan een gezellige ronde tafel… top! Voor de prijs mag er nog net wat meer beleving. Het meisje dat ons hielp was niet goed te verstaan en vertelde alleen het broodnodige. Gemiste kans met zo’n mooie bordjes. Ook de wijnbeleving kan beter met wat extra toelichting. Ondanks die verbeterpuntjes een aanrader!

Niet geweldig gegeten, wijntjes op de kaart waren ook mwa. Moesten met z’n tweetjes €180,- afrekenen, voor dat geld kunnen we elders een stuk beter eten.

Echt fine-dining. We hebben de 4-gangen menu met dessert gehad. Superlekker!

Fantastisch lekker gegeten. Verassingsmenu gehad (Vega en vlees/vis) 3 gangen. Passende wijn erbij en goed glas whiskey na! We doen dit normaal nooit maar we hebben even ongegeneerd naar de kok staan kijken. Iemand die weet wat hij doet, oog heeft voor detail en vriendelijk is. We gaan hier zeker vaker komen.

Eten was echt super. Heerlijke tonijn als vooraf en de lam als hoofd was mega lekker. Beide super goed bereid. Mooi rosé van binnen dus perfect gebraden. Ook al gingen er wat dingen mis in de bediening maar door de vriendelijkheid van de mensen was dat geen enkel issue. Werd super goed op gereageerd. Aankleding is niet mijn smaak, bij de buren oogt chiquer maar door de vriendelijke bediening en het perfecte eten geen enkel issue.

Fine dining in een relaxte omgeving Met een vriend die ik lang niet heb gezien streek ik neer bij Geronimo. Gelijk een fijn onthaal van de aardige gastvrouw met heerlijke amuses. Gekozen voor het menu van de chef waar de passie voor het eten vanaf spatte. Unieke, moderne doch herkenbare gerechten met verfijnde smaken. Super mooi opgemaakt maar zonder elitaire bijsmaak. De lieftallige gastvrouw vertelt graag meer over de wijnparingen en weet goede suggesties te geven. Naast de smakelijke wijnen ook een uitgebreid bierassortiment met zelfs een eigen Geronimo bier (die ga ik de volgende keer proberen. Afgesloten met een ongecompliceerd maar toch ook verfijnd dessert (inclusief wijn) en een zeer goede kop koffie. Op dit gezellige Eindhovense straatje heb je veel keus om op allerlei manieren uiteten te gaan. Als je zin hebt om culinair verrast te worden zonder de druk te voelen om de hele tijd rechtop te zitten en u te zeggen is er maar een beste keuze: Geronimo. P.S. het uiterst verzorgde toilet is ook een groot pluspunt!

Tussen de middag eten voor op het werk besteld en ik moet zeggen dat je het weekend niet beter in kunt gaan dan hier je lunch te bestellen!

We were having dinner on 05/27 with my son, the overall assessment cannot be more than positive, the owners and chef are very nice, excellent quality food and a very pleasant atmosphere, they make you feel like at home. Excellent tuna tataki, carpaccio and about all amazing the chateubriand. To repeat the visit a thousand times.

Tijdje terug een sinners shared lunch gehad met 2 vriendinnen. Het eten was goed. Helaas kregen we alles tegelijk op tafel. Na de soep was het volgende gerecht koud geworden, etc. De bediening viel tegen terwijl er maar 1 tafel bezet was (die van ons). Tikje ongezellig qua sfeer. Jammer, hier kom ik niet meer.

We were delighted by the chef's first "surprise" dinner (scallops as a starter, filet of beef and asparagus as a main course), and returned the next day for a culinary delight based on fresh foie gras as a starter, followed by a revisited risotto and a strawberry dream as dessert. Quite simply, this is an address to share with all lovers of gastronomy. Worthy of certain "starred" restaurants, we look forward to our next visit, thank you again

Ik kom hier graag, deze keer het verassing menu genomen, echt super lekker! Geronimo is geen doorsnee restaurant, hier wordt gespeeld met smaken waardoor het eten van top kwaliteit is! Zoals ik de eerste keer ook al zei; hier wordt met passie gekookt!

Vanavond ontzettend lekker gegeten. Verrassingsmenu van de chef gekozen. Geen van deze gerechten stond op de reguliere kaart wat het voor ons extra verrassend maakte. Ontspannen sfeer en goede bijpassende wijnen. Tempo van de gerechten lag voor ons prima uit elkaar waardoor we lekker lang hebben kunnen tafelen. Leuk personeel ook! Zeker een aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Geronimo. Wij lieten ons verrassen door de chefs. Wat een creativiteit leggen deze chefs in hun gerechten. De tonijn was echt smullen net als de rest van de gangen. De bediening was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, en gaf ook goede tips voor de wijnkeuze. We hebben op het terras gezeten maar binnen zag het er ook heel gezellig uit.

I was there second time, and as always good was so tasty. This time we tried lunch menu, burger was so huge and yellowfin salade full of taste. Everything is always so fresh, service soo nice. Love this outside terrace, it’s so big, and calm on charming street

Heerlijk eten en fantastisch drinken. Hun amuse is mijn favoriet. Het personeel is erg aardig, alert en maakt graag een praatje. Ik kom zeker terug!

Vandaag heerlijk genoten bij Geronimo! Ik had een Pink Gin en die was heel lekker! Ook de Chateaubriand was super, echt een aanrader

Het eten was werkelijk heerlijk! Bovendien was de sfeer geweldig!

Onze huwelijksdag, wij bestelden een 5 gangen surprise menu. Gelukkig hadden we brood vooraf genomen, het duurde meer dan 1 uur voordat we een voorgerecht kregen. Ook de wachttijd tussen de gangen was véél te lang. Het was zéér rumoerig in de zaak en de uitleg was sumier, en/of niet te verstaan, de aardige Poolse juffrouw sprak onduidelijk en zacht. Er ging naast ons 2x iets goed fout en de heer had het gerecht al op, voordat de dame het gerecht opnieuw kreeg. Normaal worden beide borden meegenomen en tegelijk terug gebracht. De gerechten waren ok, vooral de kleine macaron ( wij dachten dat het een amuse was) zalm, gans lekker, maar lauw, hoofdgerecht prima ossenhaas met weinig saus en vlak van smaak, heerlijke frites, nagerecht cheesecake + ijs kaasplankje viel tegen. Ook de prijzen van de wijn en AV bier zijn meer van het niveau van een sterrenrestaurant. € 7.50 voor AV bier v Mol en € 10 glas rode wijn... Een beetje teleurstellende avond. Geronimo team bedankt voor het commentaar, maar wij eten niet voor de 1e keer in een restaurant op zaterdagavond.
