Got a shawarma sandwich. It was delicious.

waited forever for a sub-par pizza despite being the only customer. very expensive and place looks incredibly depressing. was kicking myself for ordering from there as soon as i sat down. AVOID.

What a drama, ordered food, they say I don't see a receipt, picked it up after a long wait, didn't get the delivery costs back and were fobbed off with a can of Fanta

Average kebab shop with very tasty doner wraps, loved the taste. I’m giving four starts nebude of their toilets, they were horrible.

The food took ages, and it was a super easy order. Three people who ordered later were ready before us. The atmosphere was grim, and the food was meh.

Kapsalon with too little shawarma meat in it and weak fries, then paying € 12 for a marked off container, scammers and no shame, pfff. Ordered Dürüm döner, hardly any meat in it, you only taste the lettuce and the sauce, stingy. Snack bar for drunk students, that says it all.

3.50 for a hogweed without onions and without satay sauce. 👍🏻

Large fries mayonnaise for €7.00. No mayo when you get home and fries that are as weak as the Schoof 1 coalition agreement. A waste of your money and your appetite.

I had a durum with falafel and it was really really tasty! 👌 Rich flavor and crunchy.

What a scam. 6 euros for a large fries? Sauce is completely gone and is all over the bottom of the pathetic pile of limp fries. Staff not really friendly, a lot of noise in the background and it smells like cigarettes. Then also pay 1 euro for a dirty toilet, already a customer? I don't think you'll find anything worse than this in Utrecht.

Gilo's fries are especially tasty. You notice that real love and attention is put into this.

UPDATE 2022: Now I have to go back to my review from years ago: what a RIDICULOUSLY expensive thing. Many have become more expensive, but this is really absurd/not normal: mini spring rolls for 5 euros (4 elsewhere); simple sandwich with cheese 4 euros (elsewhere 3); durum falafel 7 (elsewhere 5(.50)). I definitely wouldn't go here again. Apparently they really just scam you, because I see normal prices on Thuisbezorgd.nl (surprisingly enough: it's usually more expensive online)...

Sick antisocial rude people who work there, I ordered food and then didn't receive it and they acted as if I hadn't ordered it, it was just written off, then I ordered something again and now I see that I paid way too much for it. Also facking gross, better eatery or huzur at least nice people who work there and value for money

Gilo's is the best Turkish restaurant I have eaten at in my entire life, the staff is super nice and the food is of the highest quality. Where else can you find such a beautiful restaurant with a plastic terrace? Absolutely great, keep it up Gilo's!!

You deliberately charge extra for what you order and if you indicate this, they try to make up for it with 10 extra fries

Gross tent; old fat, dirty guys (especially that tall rat with the tattoo on his hand). If you give a note, they don't give anything back in the hope that you forget that you are owed change. They think everyone is drunk, and they probably are. Stay away.
