The fries are sometimes too hard and the snacks are mediocre. The 'patatje oorlog' is tasty though, and so is the 'frikandel special'.

I called an hour in advance to have an order for 17 people ready at 12:20, and with a smile on their face, the last bag was folded shut exactly at 12:20! Dear people, tasty fries.

What a fantastic company! I had an issue with Thuisbezorgt and couldn't get through to them; the lady really put a lot of effort into finding a solution, and she succeeded. A real star! I say everyone should go eat there.

Great snack bar, with a lovely old-fashioned snack bar vibe. Fine chairs and tables for waiting or eating, even with some magazines to keep you entertained for a bit. The owners work hard and are very nice! They have tasty ice creams, highly recommended while you wait for your order.

I've been coming here regularly since I lived in the neighborhood. They have a great variety of snacks, ice cream, fries, and more. Very friendly staff, and there's also seating inside :)

Exactly what you'd expect from a greasy Dutch snack bar. They also have a great selection of snacks, most of which you can think of as a Dutch snack. The milkshakes are also delicious! Definitely recommended. The inside is exactly what you'd expect, those indestructible tables and chairs from a long time ago, but the taste is different. Everything is perfectly fried and the satay sauce is damn delicious. Even though I've moved to the other side of Utrecht, I always come back. Sometimes I even drive 20 minutes each way just for the experience!

I come here regularly and I find the food (unlike my classmates) very tasty. The snack bar is not super special, but it does meet all the minimum requirements. Just a stable snack bar!

Very tasty fries. The Bali fries are highly recommended. The fries are nice and crispy and the chicken is tender. Also delicious peanut sauce and other snacks!

Pretty good snackbar. People are very nice although sometimes - when it's busy - it can be a tiny bit difficult to communicate because the owners are from Asia originally. Very good fries and I love their meatball cooked in gravy (gehaktbal uit de jus) on a bun.

I'm really happy that you're opening again this week because I really missed this snack bar. The range of snacks is really large, many snack bars can learn something from that. I have moved to the other side of Utrecht but I like to cycle around/have it delivered to my home. Sometimes the fries are just a little too short in fat, but if you ask for well done, they are really perfect.

I have to go back to my earlier review. Ordered again today and we were very satisfied! The fries arrived piping hot and the snacks were also great. Well done, Rhine snack ✨️ (Review from 2022) Quite pricey snack bar, price/quality is out of balance. The fries are nothing special. I got my snack floating in the garlic sauce (were the containers with a separate sauce compartment empty?). And if you put a frikandel XXL specifically on the menu, then I expect a real, intact frikandel XXL instead of one that has been cut in half. And then also cut completely lengthwise, instead of slit, so that all the special sauce fell out on all sides. No. Just no.

Fries double fried, hard and old, milkshake lumpy and watery at the bottom, made me feel nauseous. Wasted money

Unfortunately, the lady who spoke to us does not fully understand that she benefits from thijsbezorg.nl and is very upset that we have to pay again because we have to wait 1.5 hours. Sorry madam for your shortcoming.

Starting a snack bar review about your previous snack bar is a bit like talking about your ex on a first date; always a good idea. A few years ago, the iconic "big snack" snack bar was in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, it had to lose out to the quality stores and other terrible chains. Fortunately, I soon came across the Rhijnsnack. More iconic than the big snack snack bar? It won't make much difference. Good price quality? Yes, just not much wrong with it. What more could you really want? De Rhijnsnack is a cozy family snack bar with good snacks and surprisingly modern TV screens, which surprisingly little is done with it. The catamaran in particular is an absolute hit, especially in the bulk season! It's nice that we have not been given over to chains but can still go to a store such as the Rhijnsnack. Grow well and enjoy your meal!

Dry fries. Something with oil perhaps? It was not the first time, but unfortunately it had been noticed before. Long waiting time. Nice owners, yes. And the family pocket is quite full.

Ate twice. Unfortunately not the best sauce. Bad curry and that is necessary if you are a 'chip shop'. Also pricey and received with onions while ordered without onions. Fries aren't really tasty either. You can always eat fries, but as a chip shop you have one goal. good fries and good sauce. And that didn't work.

You have to wait a very long time for your fries. More than fifteen minutes today. I had already paid (plus 10 cents PIN fee, which I also think is crazy), but in the end I just walked away. I'll never come back there again.

Milkshakes taste chemically, and the fries have no taste and are very dry. After eating it we felt extremely nauseous and felt bloated in our stomach. Never had such bad food before.

Delicious fried rice with babi Pangang. Fried rice was definitely much better than other Chinese shops in Utrecht.

Regular snack bar. Hygiene is good. I go there often. Easy for fries. can be obtained with other dishes.
