If you care about quality coffee/espresso, this is an excellent cafe for you. (I could really taste the funky-in-a-good-way El Vergel “guava banana” beans that were used to make my cappuccino. ) And if you just want a chill vibe with good service, this is still an excellent cafe for you.

Pleasant cafe to sit down for a coffee, tea or a tasty pastry or even to spend it as a place for working. The inside is usually not too busy and the atmosphere is pleasant and tastefully decorated. The matcha and cardamom buns are very nice :)

Giraffe Coffee is a gem in Rotterdam for coffee lovers. The coffee is truly exceptional – rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. They also offer a nice selection of coffee tools and gear for home brewers, which is a great bonus. Don’t miss their pastries – fresh and delicious, they pair perfectly with your cup. A great spot all around!

Super super rude staff, very unpleasant experience. We sit down and my friend needed to jump right into a meeting so I went to order first. One of the female staff reminded him to order while he’s talking in the meeting. He said he would order after the meeting ends. However, to our surprise the staff came to interrupt again to request order. I had to ask her to come with me and I would order for him so that she’d stop interrupting someone in a business meeting. This is outrageous and very unfriendly. If the rule is to order before sitting down, please write down it somewhere. If not, please have some patience. 👎🏽 The matcha 🍵 is too strong; the chai latte is among the best I had. But still, I find cafe giraffe to be a shitty place because of some employee.

Great selection of daily changing batch brew. If you sit alongside the bar you can chat with the barista. Especially Jayvee is a great conversationalist and knows tons about coffee and recipes!

Delicious tea options, very good quality. Coffee was also very popular with my friends. The service is super friendly and pleasant. Don't even think of having lunch here, there are only sandwiches and sweets. A very nice tea/coffee shop!

I visit the establishment sometimes when im in the neighbourhood. I am mostly happy with the coffee and even the service all tho sometimes it can depend on the person working. But today the blond curly haired barista was really rude. I noticed the place was busy when entering and waited in line to speak to him. I wanted to buy a pack of coffee beans but wanted a quick recommendation. However when i asked he told me in a really rude tone that its busy so he cant and went on with his work ignoring me. I had no problem waiting or just choosing the coffee myself. But because of the rudeness and denial of service i went somewhere else. I hope this will not happen again and they know quality means nothing if you cannot be kind and give good service.

Formerly known as the BombaBomba cyclingstore , this little coffee and tea deli is a prime example of quietness , down to earth mentality of its staff and fine hot drinks to enjoy or take with you , if u compare it to other surrounding deli’s , like Ten or Nine who are more buzzing because of its visiting college students and their following of the insta hype surrounding these two places .

What a great experience at Giraffe Coffee Bar on the Hoogstraat! After a disappointing experience at Harries Wine & Deli across the street, where I politely asked if I could use the sanitary facilities out of necessity and was flatly refused, despite even offering to order something, I decided to go to Giraffe Coffee Bar to go. There I was welcomed with open arms. Without any hesitation, I was helped kindly, and the staff immediately showed understanding and compassion. They radiated a customer-oriented and warm attitude, something that is so important in these times of humanity. When I indicated that I wanted to order something, they emphasized that I should mainly do what I needed. Here you really feel welcome and appreciated. With their warm atmosphere and committed attitude, Giraffe Coffee Bar definitely impressed me. This contrast with the experience at Harries Wine & Deli across the street underlines even more how well they understand what customer friendliness means. This is a place where I will definitely return more often, and I am even considering organizing a drink or outing here with my municipal colleagues. Giraffe Coffee Bar is a true example of hospitality and customer friendliness, and an asset to the municipality of Rotterdam. A wonderful example of how it should be done!

My favorite place for coffee, I notice that I can experience many aromas and notice the difference between the beans used. What I drink has more depth than what I experience elsewhere.

I visited your café to work on my laptop because it looked quiet from the outside. After ordering, I was told that laptops aren't allowed on weekends, which I understood. However, I was asked to close it even while simply enjoying my coffee, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. While the coffee and overall experience were lovely, a clearer sign at the entrance about the no-laptop policy would help customers make more informed decisions and avoid similar situations.

Worst coffee i had in Rotterdam, and these guys claim to supply the other places in Rotterdam and teach people about coffee :)

Shockingly bad service. Barista refuses to prepare a filter coffee for us as they are closing in 30 minutes. A deep disappoinment as the vibe looks great and we were keen to buy coffee beans too. Have gone across the road, to a very friend day reception instead.

Was looking for speciality coffee in Rotterdam. Had this picked because of the positive reviews and location. Staff were super nice, Barista knew his coffee, setting area was cozy and abundant, prices were reasonable. Therefore, my coffee was great and set my mood for the rest of the day 👍🏻

Did the Latte Art workshop. Super fun and educational. Good clear explanation and enough time and guidance to practice making hearts and tulips in your cappuccino.

Amazing spot. If I would live in rotterdam I would come back often. The cappuccino was great, The 10€ breakfast deal is crazy good and the service was very kind. The space was very bright and open and would also be optimal to get some work done while enjoying a cup of coffee. Amazing!

Lovely place! I had overnight oats for breakfast and a flat white with oatmilk. Service was very nice and I could have a lookaround at their bicycle shop. I recommend it

One of the best place for coffee in Rotterdam. The coffee is always of good quality and the baristas are polite. You can also purchase coffee beans here and grind them if you do not have the possibility to do it at home. I always get a free coffee if I buy a bag of beans, which is a nice bonus. It’s clean here, the kitchen and the bathroom looks neat. There are women products in the bathroom which I find thoughtful.

Really great coffee and chai latte! ☕️ They don’t prepare the chail latte from powder so it’s not so sweet as usual and you can more enjoy the testa of all the ingredients! Atmosphere here was really cozy with nice music🎵

Best coffee bar in Rotterdam! Good service, nice staff and especially very good and tasty coffee!! We have been coming here for a number of years now and that is almost on a daily basis. This place was amazing. Chai latte which I had ordered was delicious, one of the best which I had had in my life. atmosphere was so good, refreshing, with comfortable seats and relaxing music. Well apart you can buy coffee beans and accessories for making it.

Good place with decent coffee, but the staff is not polite. I came in on Sunday with a bag and a laptop and then they have a "weekends without laptop" policy. I ordered, sat down and when they brought my order I was told I couldn't use my laptop. They didn't bother to put my order in a to go cup.

Went there to buy coffee beans for my own espresso machine and they offfer their own blend, together with beans from around the world. Def one of the best beans in the area, freshly roasted and well packaged. The ladies in the counter were super friendly while answering my questions and also gave me a coffee on the house :) Will be back for more!

One of the best places for coffee in Rotterdam. Apart from well trained baristas (never had a bad coffee here - very consistent quality) they also have a good and changing collection of coffee beans as well as accessories. Very different level compared to the other coffee places in the area.

Great v60 and aeropress filter coffee & you can choose your beans. Can use your laptop on the big table at the back on weekdays. Bicycle and coffee products to buy too.

Super gezellige zaak. Leuke sfeer en aardige werknemers die veel verschillende dranken voor je kunnen klaar maken en als je nieuwschierig bent er van alles over kunnen vertellen. Ik heb heir ook een latte art cursus gevolgd. Erg aan te raden.

Lovely place serving coffee, pastries and breakfast. Great for cyclists. Of which I am not one. Big bar area and lots of plants, books and interesting stuff to look at if you are on your own.

Great spot and they really know their coffee. Had a cortado to taste the coffee but also het a nice bit of milk foam. Immediately grabbed 1kg of their ten-tastic blend beans on my way out. The fact that you drink your coffee amidst a bike/bikeclothing shop feels a teeny bit off at first. I would’ve loved a bit more of an intimate or café feel to it. Friendly staff for sure!
