Nice in Rotterdam Centrum

Good food, good vibes, what's not to like. Still have to try their coffee.

The cappuccino was really good and the service really fast taking in consideration the queue. The cookie itself was a bit very sweet and overwhelming.

I had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop. I had a cafe latte, which I usually have, but it was simply not good and therefore didn't even finish it. It is priced around €4–5. Could be something personal but the interior lacks any chare, it is very bare. I was here at a warm summer day, it was stiflingly hot inside. So I sat outside on the small stools despite it also being hot. But this was better than inside. The cashier wasn’t unfriendly per se, but certainly not welcoming. I will not go back and would not recommend this place given the price and quality of the coffee and the fact that there are far better cafes with better coffee and ambiance nearby (in the same street, around the Meent or at the Oude Haven).

Cafe with an industrial vibe. Nice drinks and their chicken sandwich is amazing, but you have to be patient because it can take a while.

This place uses coffee beans from the AMOC Coffee Roastery. It was through this roastery that I discovered this coffee shop. And by following the cookie aisle, I highly recommend trying the white chocolate miso cookies. What a light cookie! I really like the texture. The cookie pairs better with coffee than matcha, though. Hopefully, we'll try the banana bread next time. The staff was also fun to chat with. Very sweet, too. It's a shame you can only pay by card. Cash payments aren't accepted.

What a fantastic place! Delicious matcha, a super tasty lunch, and really friendly staff. We enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the day. The coffee was also perfect. You'll just want to come here more often.

Very nice coffee, using high quality milk, you can really taste the difference. 1st visit, Home Soda is really good, as well as the toast (melted mushroom), the shaved Parmasen cheese is bravo! 2nd visit, sadly the kitchen was closed that I did not get to try another flavour of the toast, but I ordered a cappuccino, so far the best coffee I tried in Rotterdam, maybe the entire Netherlands.

Hip little place, had taken a seat and someone who I thought was serving directed me to order inside. Once ordered inside, my place outside in the sun was given away. Iced coffee wasn't very tasty either or something

My favorite coffee spot in Rotterdam! The staff is always very nice and you are helped quickly. The coffee beans they use are very tasty (and so is the decaf grind), the matcha tastes perfect and the cakes they have are always delicious. I've never ordered a sandwich myself, but they look good. It is a small cafe with a small terrace, but you can always sit comfortably. I see some comments complaining that you have to sit in the window frame, but I actually find that pleasant ;). At busy times you can often find a seat, but you can always ask for your coffee to-go!

In love with the place!!! Very delicious matcha latter for such a good price! Very well made and it tasted very very good. You should also try the chicken sandwich for sure!! The bread is so nice and freshh, the chicken is also very tender and yummy and the sauce was also very tasty!! Must try. They have an outdoor space which is very nice and cozy!

Nice is simply my favorite food spot in Rotterdam. The energy of the café is always great with nice conversations, fun staff, good music and fantastic food. Their matcha is one of the best in Rotterdam, their coffee is extremely flavorful and the food is always great. My favorites are the sweet potato melt sandwich, super soft bread topped with a spread so creamy and comforting and finished with the perfect umami sprinkle of parmesan and chilli crisp. As well as the saturday special egg bun. I don’t want to spoil it but it is one of the most perfect bites of food I’ve ever had. I could complement their café for a very long time but I would rather have your reader go try it out for yourself and sit in the sun with a nice drink and their amazing dishes. 10/10 would highly recommend. Ps.: don’t forget to try out their sweet and salty espresso cookie, divine…

I wanted to try this place due to the reviews but was a quite a disappointment. Ordered a matcha lata and a normal coffee plus a carrot cake ( sadly nothing stood out)

This place is amazing, the coffee is great, the sandwiches are super delicious and the staff is lovely!

This has quickly become one of my absolute favorite cafés in Rotterdam; the staff is so welcoming, the food and coffee are consistently delicious, and the vibe in general is really enjoyable ! Highly recommend getting the soft scramble on brioche (with the optional parmesan, although I feel like a bit more could be grated on top), and the banana bread is amazing too — will definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu !

Such a cool place! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had the banana bread, which was absolutely delicious, and also tried a pistachio and lemon cake (I don’t remember the exact name), but it was excellent. Highly recommend!

I heard a lot about this place and it didn’t disappoint! The coffee was great. The chicken sandwich - one of the best I hav ever tried. The combination of chicken, pesto, halloumi and the sauce is just perfect. The portion is also quite big.

Very good coffee, well dialed and the barista also explains to you which coffee you get! The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. As a coffee lover, definitely worth a visit! My fav is their espresso cake 😍

It’s alright. That coffee corner changes a lot so it is fine - go in, get coffee, go out. Pretty uncomfortable if you have to sit next to the door, not a lot of space inside, chairs for tables, overall they are trying to make something of a small what-looks-like-naked space.

Let me start with the fact that the sandwiches are tasty and the people who work there are very friendly! It is logically very busy on Saturdays, but there are only a few places with a table. The sandwiches taste very good, but in my opinion they are too expensive. Especially because, when it's busy, you have to sit on the windowsill with your plate on your lap.

Coffee is not bad. Sandwich is way overpriced and horrible. The aubergine was cold in the hot bun, weird combo. Then too much sauce so it’s way too salty. Overall, you can come for the vibe. Just don’t hold high expectations.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The cookies were ok. The service is fast and the employees are nice and speak good English. The space overall is good for either remote workers or grabbing a drink on your own or with a friend. Not enough space for big groups of people and not convenient for eating there. So take out was the better option. Overall, highly recommend trying the food!

Best coffee around here, delicious home made cakes. The pistachio cake is highly recommended. Top service with a personal touch, from start to finish I have never seen them slacken.

Stumbled upon this cute cafe when visiting Rotterdam and I really had a great time here. Great sleek interiors and lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. The batch brew was nice and I also got the chicken halloumi sandwich which was honestly way better than expected. Pleased with my time spent here and would 100% go back!

I was on the Hoogstraat last week and thought I would have an expresso after all those positive messages. The Expresso is undrinkable and has a sour taste, perhaps I think this is normal, but I have had some coffee in my entire life, but I have never had one as nasty as this. All in all, it must be a hip place, but everything is open and exposed on the counter, which is not really beneficial...... Waste of your money..................

Good Quality Coffee (we drank batch brew and a cappuccino with oat Milk), quickly made and really nice and friendly service. The atmosphere is more urban with stylish people around. Next time def trying the freshly made sandwiches, they looked so good

Incredible establishment to have breakfast or lunch. I had a matcha latte to drink, incredible, and to eat I ordered a Chicken sandwich, I have to say one of the best I have had in the city of Rotterdam. If you have any doubts, I recommend this establishment.

Nice was okay. The energy of the space is minimal and clean. People working there were very very warm, but if you're coming there for a coffee you would expect a good coffee and someone operating a cafe would want their coffee to be good. That's all I have to say.. sweets and the rest were actually very nice. So if you're not there for coffee, you're okay

The service is rather bad and the food (I ordered the pistachio loaf and sweet potato melt) is meh. For the price point, I don’t think it’s worth it. Wouldn’t go back again.

The food was delicious (scrambled eggs) the coffee was alright, the facilities are basic nothing special but what I did not like was the waiters where moody and that ruin a bit my mood. It would be better to just have a smile 😊 every now and then.

In my opinion, it is the best matcha latte that you can find in Rotterdam. Considering price and portion, it is very good. I am just waiting for them to have the sproud milk as an option as well. Then it will 11/10. 🤩 I tried their chicken sandwich. Quite a nice portion with a lot of tastes. Chicken and halloumi was so soft. I was worried it would to tough. I would recommended as a lunch more than breakkie as the tastes are quite intense. Not many places to sit but I usually prefer to take it as to-go.

It is an extremely Nice place - an excellent stop for a quick brunch or coffee. The menu is relatively small, but soft scramble brioche with chilli is delicious and deserves your attention. The chicken sandwich also looks super interesting, so I’m excited to get back and try it out. Apart from the big table inside, there aren’t other places to eat comfortably, to be honest, as other counters and small tables are too low to sit and eat. I get that it’s the whole concept, though:) The coffee is excellent - it’s a coffee place, after all.

So overhyped. I didn’t try the food but the black coffee was disgusting, so bitter and with a weird aftertaste. Inside, the smell of garlic was so overpowering, I couldn’t stay. Basically just a place if you want to sit outside and show off your outfit, everyone looks at you from head to toe to check if you have the “right” style

Cool little spot on the East end of Rotterdam. I got the banana bread with walnuts to go. It was good....maybe with a little heat and jam or butter it'd be next level. The white chocolate miso cookie was chewy. It was a good item to take away for later today.

WOW! Small menu but coffe and matcha were absolutely epic. The bun with eggs made my day. Such a shame there is not that much space to sit… would be nice to have a bigger sunny terrace there.

Amazing neighbourhood cafe with very friendly people and a great minimalist look and relaxed ambiance. Food selection is a small but seasonal menu with something for everyone. They also sell a selection of sweet pastries and cookies. Coffee and drinks wise its also just perfect. They also stock tea, sodas & juices for the ones who don’t like coffee. Been here countless times and its been great every time!

Nice in Rotterdam is a fantastic coffee bar with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, the sandwiches and pastries delicious. The furnishings are beautiful and well thought out, with an eye for design and details. An absolute must for those looking for a cozy place to enjoy good coffee and treats! In the summer you can sit in the sun and in the winter it is very cozy inside.

Came here three times. The food is great and coffee is too! Especially like the mushroom melt. I don’t recommend the matcha here (it was to strong and lumpy). The vibe is fresh but consider that the overall atmosphere of the cafe is not very relaxing when it’s a bit busy mainly because of the (lack of) noise-regulation and the mirror + bright lights. Other then that the interior and aesthetics are amazing.

A very nice tent in Rotterdam. Very pleased with the chicken and portobello sandwiches. It employs sympathetic people who do their work with attention and love. The only downside is that there is little seating space so it can be very busy at times. Keep up the good work, guys.

Heerlijke, kleine kaart. Koffie fantastisch. Sfeer ongedwongen. Zie nu al een tijdje dezelfde mensen er werken en stuk voor stuk vriendelijk en relaxt. Fijn hoekje zo in de straat erbij

Van buiten leek het nogal sufjes maar eenmaal binnen werden wij mega hartelijk begroet en werd er met bestellen alle tijd voor ons genomen om zaken uit te leggen. Echt veel leuke dingen op de kaart; koffie was echt top en apart, kombucha heerlijk, broodje melted mushroom geweldig en taarten ook lekker. Kortom echt een aanrader.

The mushroom melt was so good that i am going to attempt to copy the recipe and have it in my personal recipe book! Warming, hearty and full of flavours. The staff is lovely and the place is cozy to sit in for lunch :)

We came by for a coffee and a bite ended up ordering a chicken sandwich and brioche with egg. The chicken sandwich was amazing, I asked for a hot sauce, they gave an spicy oil with complemented it nicely. Coffee cold batch brew was delicious and the cholacte grenache cake a great finisher.

A very nice cafe near station Blaak. The matcha latte was really delicious and rich. Went with a friend and we ordered the scrambled egg brioche which was really amazing. Must try when visiting! Next to that, the workers where really nice and friendly!

Best coffee I have found in Rotterdam. Faultless. Not very comfortable surroundings but worth it just for the smooth coffee. Had cake and said normally pastries. They do sandwiches too.
