Golfrestaurant De Hooghe Bergh in Wijk 01 Mierlo

This week I ate the new flour balls introduced by Libéma. Bitterballen look à like. No, they weren't tasty. Too bad, Toon's bitterballen were so tasty.

My previous review is unfortunately no longer appropriate. Great terrace remains, but the prices? Mai. Hadn't been there for about 2-3 weeks. Apparently change of ownership. Enjoy a nice, tasty Cornetje or Tripel after a few hours of hard work on the track or at practice facilities. Many new faces in the operating team; very young. At Cornet a huge mega contraction had suddenly taken place, from 0.35 to 0.25 glasses, 40% less!. Type of whistling cornet. 8 bitterballen, 2 wine 2 very, very small cornet. 31 euros please. It's better to bring your own beer there

Everywhere I go, nationally and internationally, I eat where possibly fish soup. In the Netherlands I know three restaurants where the fish soup is very tasty, but nowhere is it as good in terms of taste and filling as at Toon van Rooij in restaurant De Hooghe Bergh at De Gulbergen golf club. It's just a shame that the chef doesn't serve rouille with it, which I understand in warm weather, but if you ask Toon before you come, he will certainly serve it with it. And I hope they will keep this fish soup on their menu for a long time. Wout de Vries

Cozy restaurant and terrace with beautiful views and friendly staff

It's a great meal after a run or practice round. Also great as a stopover during an outdoor activity.

Staff are very friendly and hospitable. That makes it somewhat good. They certainly didn't learn this from the owner. Sayings such as: "Fuck off man whining" are not strange to him. A full terrace and then promptly turning off the lights to ruin the atmosphere in order to get you out as quickly as possible is apparently also normal. But please still pay! I haven't spent a euro here yet. Fawty Towers is nothing like it

Uitstekend gegeten en waar voor je geld. Zeer attent personeel en vooral corona proof.

Een golfbaan met een uitstekend restaurant. Het menu was van voor- tot nagerecht top en dat voor 40 personen. Heerlijk gegeten, complimenten aan de kok!

Heerlijke avond gehad met heerlijk eten en ontzettend gastvrij personeel. Een echte aanrader.

Leuke pauze plaats voor fietsers.
