This place is awful! We've been going to Molkwerum for many years, and I've never met an unfriendly Dutch person. But if you really want to meet unfriendly Dutch people, this is the place for you. We left without even eating ice cream.

Very rude, you immediately get yelled at. I wanted to give the store a chance despite the bad reviews, but it doesn't deserve it.

We just wanted some ice cream, but were treated so rudely that we left immediately without buying anything. Absolutely not recommended.

The waitress was very unfriendly to us because we don't speak good Dutch. This has only happened here in Friesland. We ended up ordering most of our lunch elsewhere. We won't be back and unfortunately can't recommend this snack bar.

The fish was truly, truly, delicious. But the staff is a bit weary.

Really poor customer service. They couldn't help my visually impaired wife. My wife asked what they didn't have, and they didn't say anything. They just took what they did have without saying anything. Very poor customer service. I don't recommend this business. Customer service needs to be addressed first.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The quality of the food was truly subpar – much of it tasted old or poorly prepared. However, the way the staff treated the guests was particularly unpleasant: The service was consistently unfriendly and condescending. It was very irritating to observe that guests were spoken about disparagingly behind their backs as soon as they left the restaurant. It was also noticeable that some of the staff seemed unusually young (the only positive: the children were very nice and competent) – whether they were even old enough for the job is hard to say, but it didn't seem professional. What was particularly negative was that the staff obviously treated guests differently. While Dutch guests were greeted warmly and served promptly, German guests encountered a noticeably colder and more irritable tone. Such unequal treatment is simply unacceptable. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant. The hygienic conditions, the lack of friendliness, and the feeling of being unwanted made the visit very unpleasant. We are all equal – and should be treated as such. It would be nice if all guests – regardless of origin or nationality – were greeted with the same friendliness and attention. Respect and openness are the foundation for good cooperation and a positive dining experience. Perhaps this can be an opportunity to reflect on your own attitude and how you treat people. I walked up, said, "Hey, good afternoon, do you have something for me?" and before I could finish, the woman in the cart said, "Excuse me? You mean, do you have something for me?" I thought, "Okay, that's odd," because I understand you might want to be addressed as "you," but to act like that is outrageous, especially as a female employee to a customer. Then, after waiting for my order, it was called out. I asked if they had any takeaway bags, and they threw one large and one small bag in my lap without anything to say, like, "Do you want me to wrap it for you?" or "Sure! Here you go!" because I also had to wrap the potato sticks and snacks myself. Very unfriendly staff.

Herring roll for 3.50 euros. The roll was old, the herring was tiny.

Very bad. I didn't get my €10 change back or a receipt. The employee was unfriendly and, from the looks of it, incompetent at counting. The ice cream tasted too artificial for me. I would prefer not to give you any stars. First and last visit. Reply to owner: That's not entirely true. We had been eating for less than half an hour. Unfortunately they only gave me the receipt at the end and not after the purchase, which is a shame. Also, I don't remember scolding anyone about anything. Thanks.

Very young, and untrained personnel plus the Woman in charge was arrogant with an aggressive tone and unwilling to help . We had a problem she could tried to help us but she didn't want to !

The ice cream was some of the worst we've ever had. €2.25 for a ball that size is too expensive. The ice cream tasted artificial. Sorry, but that could be better - especially for this price!

Delicious fries with peanut sauce, with ice cream. It suddenly started to rain very hard, causing edema to get as close as possible under the parasols.

Delicious fries, delicious frikadel, delicious cheese souflé and the icing on the cake is very friendly staff! Everything was ready super quickly and tasted delicious. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious flurry KitKat with caramel. Highly recommended!'

Ice cream was delicious and fresh

War mal besser, geschmacklich nicht mehr so wie es mal war.. Musste 6€ bezahlen für meinen Kibbeling. Habe 10€ gegeben, und 3€ zurück bekommen. Als ich die Dame darauf angesprochen habe, wurde sie etwas unfreundlich und meinte, dass ich Unrecht habe. Lieber ein paar Meter weiter gehen, dort schmeckt es besser.

De lekkerbek was taai, bevatte graten en het korstje was week, bovendien prijzig en klein. De kibbelingen ware niet veel beter. 2 sterren is aan de ruime kant.

Über die Essenskultur hier im Land kann man sich streiten aber das, was hier als Hamburger verkauft wird nicht. Einen Pressfleisch Lappen in einem trockenen Weißbrot, ohne Sauce? Was ist los mit euch? Kommt mal im Pott und esst dort einen Burger. Die ältere Bedienung zieht dazu noch über die Kunden her, sobald sie sich umdrehen. Nebenan war die Bedienung nett, ein 0.3 Dosenbier kostet aber 3 Euro.

Graaien met 4 handen en wij vinden het leuk...ik denk dat je de naam zo mag vertalen. € 2,- EURO per bol en dan ook mog met ijsklonten erin. Volgende keer maar even verder lopen......

Die Kibbelings sind lecker. Die besten die ich am Eissel mehr gegessen habe.

Duurste ijs tot nu toe van 2 euro per bolletje. Service....tja vriendelijk is anders. De smaak van het ijs was wel goed.

Erwartungen erfüllt. War sehr lecker, es gibt jedoch einige Buden in den Niederlanden, welche die Frittate Mosselen etwas besser zubereiten.

Vriendelijk en Topservice!! Voor ons dochtertje van 10 maanden hadden we een potje met eten wat opgewarmd moest worden. Helaas was hun eigen magnetron niet beschikbaar. Echter was dit geen enkel probleem, ons potje werd meegenomen en er werd aangebeld bij een buurvrouw die het potje heeft opgewarmd. Hartstikke fijn! Super service wat ons betreft! Overigens bevelen wij het ijs ook van harte aan!

Heerlijk ijs kan in Friesland geen betere vinden.!!

A place of delicious encounters, that's why I like to go there. Whether you eat there or take it with you, it always tastes good. A variety of delicious dishes are available there. All are there nice and master English, German and of course Dutch. There are also many ice cream varieties that meet every taste. So definitely my favorite place for delicious food.

Very tasty ice cream but probably the most unfriendly ice seller in the Netherlands.
