I've ordered from here about five times now. Through home delivery, their own website, by phone, and in-store. Each time, something went wrong, which is a real shame. Either the food arrived an hour late or the order was wrong. Today, they failed again to deliver the correct order. It contained something I can't eat (and I clearly stated I wanted to avoid it). I immediately tried to reach them, but couldn't. Now, an hour later, they're still unreachable, and I'm starving. This is a real shame and a waste of money. Incidentally, the food they offer was delicious, which is why I tried again, but unfortunately, the staff can't read very well.

Delicious fries in the heart of Sneek! Always worth a visit.

Really delicious. My sister picked up a hamburger, frikandel, milkshake, and fries. My sister, nephew, and I had a wonderful meal. 5 stars; if I could give more, I would. Compared to the previous owner, this is night and day.

Fast delivery. Fresh fries and tasty snacks. One time the fries were cold, but other times everything was nice and hot.

On my way to Ljouwert, via Sneek. At De Kolk, they have a real "Frisian Burger" with sugar bread, and it's definitely worth a try. A great snack, with a delicious spicy sauce!

The food was okay, but the staff was yelling TERRIBLY loudly at each other. So loudly that I got a headache and left the restaurant. So... ABSOLUTELY not social!!!!

The sugarloaf burger was delicious. The staff was friendly, and we were served quickly despite the crowds.

Shawarma roll review Nice and crispy, and the soft dough grips the meat immediately after the first bite. The meat is also well-seasoned, even though it was ready very quickly. Ultimately, it's a good roll and sauce, and plenty of it. Oh yeah, and the "Netsies" burger (a piece of meat on sugar bread) gets a 6.5/10 from the rest of the table! It's okay for the hype, but I recommend the regular version.

Better a good steal than a bad invention. The burger with sugar bread and Beerenburg sauce has been on the menu at Restaurant Mijn Zusje in Drachten for five years. The team at this restaurant created this burger for a culinary competition and won a prize with it. So, Snackbar De Kolk: don't show off!

During Sneek Week, we stopped by Eetcafé De Kolk—and what a fantastic choice! The food was truly delicious: fresh, well-seasoned, and generously served. The atmosphere was great, and despite the crowds, the staff remained friendly and efficient. And importantly, the beer was ice cold, just as it should be on a summer evening by the water. In short: cozy, delicious, and definitely worth repeating!

Yes, Sneek Week 2025! The guys were hungry and craving a greasy snack. We ended up at Snackpoort de Kolk. What can I say other than that the Legend Burger was legendary and the fries were generously served with way too much sauce. And oh yeah, before I forget, ice-cold beer here to fully enjoy the greasy snack. 10/10, next year's Sneek Week we'll be back for the big, fat Legend Burger🔥🌚😋

Normally I would never choose to review a Snack occasion, but this is simply a great place! Products are fresh, orders are delivered quickly and the delivery person is extremely friendly. Price/Quality ratio is synchronously connected.

The food is delicious, but these people just think of a time every evening to close home delivery. The opening hours are incorrect and sometimes I get a message in the middle of an order that they are suddenly closed. I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY 💀

While passing through, we had a special fries war and fricandel here. It was delicious and the fresh fries in particular are highly recommended. And friendly staff. This snack bar is great.

Ordered mozzarella soufflé, got something completely different, then I got the order again and got this delivered and they wanted to tell me that this was mozzarella and I was just hung up on. And then you've been waiting 2.5 hours for your food.

Ordered fries and a croquette. I felt like the fries were lying around for a very long time. In the fat. When the order came, the fries were quite on the dark side and tasted like used and old frying fat. The croquette was overcooked and tasted burnt. Staff were complaining about each other and had no regard for the customers

Frietje en kroket besteld, duurde lang voordat het kwam. Friet was bijna donker bruin, kroket proefde ook aangebrand en smaakte naar oud vet. Personeel klaagde over elkaar maar hadden geen aandacht aan klanten

Never had such a lousy dining experience. Half of the menu was out of stock, and when, after an apology, our ordered satay was finally brought (about 10 minutes after the other food) it turned out to be completely blackened. This was followed by an "apology" between the various employees about: this is how it should be! and: sorry! Later we got part of our money back, which was just proof that we weren't wrong. Never, never again!

Ordered and picked up via social deal. Turns out I was given the wrong bag of food. After calling, we received the order again within 10 minutes, super fresh, hot and free of charge! Great solution!

We hebben genoten van een Legend Burger, heerlijke patat met ruim saus erbij en een stoofperen Sundae. En alles van uitstekende kwaliteit en lekker klaargemaakt. Zeker een aanrader!

This snack bar is located at the water gate in Sneek. Spacious and with a terrace overlooking the Waterpoort. Smooth service and friendly staff. We enjoyed a Legend Burger, delicious fries with plenty of sauce and a stewed pear Sundae. And everything is of excellent quality and deliciously prepared. Definitely recommended!

I've been ordering from them for almost a year now when I'm in the mood for fries, and I really consider their business to be the best in town. The fries are always well prepared and tasty. The snacks are also expected to be fine. This week I accidentally indicated incorrectly that I would pay the exact amount, and they came by again without complaint to deliver the rest of the tip.

Shawarma fries in small and large sizes. Well, let's get a big one to take with you. Raw vegetables separately in a container, which is a plus. Simply throw it into the container with your bare hands, which is not really hygienic. 3 sauces of your choice. Nothing wrong with it! Once I arrived, I saw that this large shawarma could also have been used as what many snack bars serve as a medium shawarma. The shawarma turned out to be some kind of chicken substance that was unfortunately much too pale and very tasteless. The place is busy enough so the rest of the food will be fine. But this shawarma gets a failing grade.

De Kolk is really the best. The fries are delicious. The ratio of sauce to large fries is absolutely right. The peanut sauce has the taste and quality of peanut sauce from Indonesia. The food is presented very neatly in beautiful paper containers. The snacks are also of the same quality as the fries. You just notice that they fry in clean fat. Well, I'm just very enthusiastic about the Kolk.

We were fishing in Sneek today so we spontaneously went into the living room. We were warmly welcomed and served accordingly. The food was served quickly and was appetizing. And it tasted great. We will be back.

Haben uns diese recht neue Snackbar am Waterpoort für einen Mittagssnack ausgesucht. Man findet auf der Karte neben den typischen Snacks auch hausgemachte Burger. Wir hatten lediglich die frischen Pommes, die perfekt frittiert waren, und den Eierbal, eine regionale Spezialität, die nicht jede Snackbar auf der Karte hat. Ist unserer Meinung nach zumindest in Sneek der Beste! Außergewöhnlich ist die tolle Lage, bei gutem Wetter sitzt man draussen mit perfekter Sicht auf das Waterpoort.

Nice place, good staff. And the food was delicious, ordered fries, hamburger sandwich and a tartare sandwich. The latter is packaged separately, so not with the hot snacks. So that's a great deal for me!

If you have already ordered and paid and have been waiting for the order in the store for a few minutes, an employee will come to you with the message that the tartare has run out. How could I order and pay for that? First check the stock and then offer it. I received a replacement sandwich "from the company", but yes, it was cheaper than my initial special tartare sandwich (the most expensive on offer). Interesting way to make money... The quality of my second sandwich (healthy) also left much to be desired. For quality sandwiches I would order elsewhere, but the staff was friendly.

Visited the Snack Bar for the first time today, pleasantly surprised and also with the friendly owner 🍔 Furthermore, it all looks neat, clean, new & cozy. You can sit inside and outside (on the side of the water), nice view of the Waterpoort too and finally the fries were delicious 🍟 (best I've had in Sneek so far). Next time I will definitely come back to taste some burgers 🤩 Price/Quality ratio Top 👍🏻 & not to forget, besides the owner, the staff is also very friendly 😉
