Grand Café 1909 in Wijk 06 Het Koegras

We stopped by for coffee at lunch and then made a reservation for the evening, which was absolutely no mistake, as the restaurant was very busy. Very friendly service and a generous and delicious starter for two people. For my main course, I had the daily special of spare ribs with fries and coleslaw (I wanted to know if the slogan of another restaurant nearby, claiming to have the best spare ribs in Julianadorp, was true). But I have to say, the spare ribs at 1909 definitely won me over. They were plentiful, well-seasoned, and served with salad; they were super tasty and my best value for money! The steak with mushrooms was equally delicious, and the cocktails rounded off the evening perfectly.

Wir waren mit unserem Enkelkind hier einige Stunden und habe uns sehr wohl hier gefühlt. Top Service aber auch Tol Küche. Wir waren sehr sehr zufrieden mit allem.

A spontaneous, hospitable evening! Recommended! With the spring sun on the terrace we enjoyed a delicious drink and nice people. The service is very hospitable and attentive and special requests are accommodated. Every effort is made to ensure that you as a guest are completely satisfied. You really feel at home! Inside you won't get tired of the beautiful interior. We cycled back to the campsite with a big smile on our faces. Thank you 1909 for a wonderful evening. We would love to come back again!

We would be accommodated in Anna Paulowna. It's a disaster to find a good restaurant that's open on a Monday or Tuesday. Just bad snacks. The Grand Café, on the other hand, was a blast. Easily reserved online (!!!). Great ambience. I had the Carpachio XXL. Very tasty and delicious combination

Today we had dinner at 1909 in Julianadorp. We had a cheese soup, the bacon-wrapped pork fillet and an apple crumble. My wife and I shared the soup and crumble. In total we paid €72 (including drinks, without service). Food was very tasty and we would go here again and again. Service was also very friendly and attentive. Our dog was also welcome. We were very satisfied 👍

Lovely setup, nice open design. Thoughtfull some water for the dog. Once every 2 weeks sushi Tuesday. Quick service. Quality food is good. I would recommend.

Isn't what it once was, we had a plate for 2. Weak fries, diamond tenderloin with so much blue cheese that the rest has no taste anymore. Really dirty. Stew full of chunks of fat from the meat, so really very low quality. Pork tenderloin with bacon brie... yes, reasonable. Chicken satay was fine. Reported that it did not meet our expectations, but that could happen. # be warned

Delicious dinner for two tonight at Grand Café 1909. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. As a starter, pork belly & nettle cheese spring roll, tasted excellent... good start! Then as a main course a very tasty pork tenderloin with brie & a well-cooked venison steak. Served with various stir-fry vegetables, sweet potato fries & a mixed salad. Only negatives: the sour (red wine vinegar) coleslaw. And it's a pity that the plates were not heated, which made the stir-fry vegetables lukewarm. Recommended!!

Went there spontaneously with 2 small children. Without reserving a table. We were lucky and were served quickly. Very child-friendly, the children had plain pancakes and we were given syrup and powdered sugar without asking. The chef burger was very tasty, although I don't need the raisins in the salad. The waitress was very friendly and quick, which is important with children because the mood can change suddenly 😄. We were very satisfied.

Cozy little cafe When we came in it was quiet when we left it was full but not so full that you notice a cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly, food was served quickly. Food was simply superb, meat was wonderfully tender and quality was simply superb. Waitress made time for a chat and it's a shame it's too far away otherwise we would eat here regularly!

Het smaakte, maar het was zeker niet bijzonder. De kipburger was erg klein en was een stuk duurder dan het broodje beenham. Daarnaast stelde de clubsandwich ook helemaal niets voor, ook deze was een stuk duurder dan het broodje beenham. Al met al erg jammer, en voor verbetering vatbaar! Wel vriendelijk jong personeel!

Best place in Julianadorp and surrounding areas The Drag bingos in particular are great! The carpaccio XXL is unsurpassed.

Nice ambience. Food and drink very good. Unfortunately there were no napkins for the snack plate. The service was a bit distracted and therefore inattentive but still very friendly.

Kleine nettes und uriges Lokal, das wir für Kaffe &Kuchen aufgesucht haben. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung und jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Na een dag van tevoren te hebben gereserveerd, uitstekend ontvangen en konden we kiezen uit een paar tafeltjes te plaatse. De bediening is attent en scherp, beleefd en correct. (serveerster was klein maar groots) Het eten was buitengewoon goed...echt niet verwacht in een dorp, daarbij dus een aanwinst en waar wij zeker terug gaan komen.

Friendly service and delicious food. I thought it was a disadvantage that the owner was hanging at the bar with her child and kept the staff from working with a voice that was too loud. Found this messy and restless.

We wanted to spend a nice evening with the family with delicious food and drink and had reserved a table accordingly. The ambience is quite appealing and feels cozy. Starters and drinks also came quite quickly and everything was fine. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the main courses, some of which were only lukewarm. All of the supplements were missing, some of which were then added later. However, here too the fries were wobbly (clearly not cooked through) and only lukewarm. Even though a small discount was granted, we would have liked to have enjoyed this evening and would have liked a complete and warm menu. A pity!

Heerlijk gegeten van de all you can eat sushi op dinsdagavond. Eten was erg lekker, goede bediening, fijne sfeer!

Ik heb hier geluncht in oktober en ben zeer te spreken over de sfeer bij grand café 1909. Alles was leuk in thema. Het eten was goed en de service was top! Ik kom hier graag terug.

Gezellig restaurant waar we in een goede sfeer heerlijk geluncht hebben. Voldoende keuze op de kaart en heel vriendelijke bediening. Het restaurant is niet te groot waardoor het een 'knusse' uitstraling heeft. Kortom, fijne plek om wat te gaan eten.

Wir waren am Sushi-Abend dort zum Essen. Es hat wirklich ganz hervorragend geschmeckt, alles war schön angerichtet, die Bedienung immer freundlich. Was will man mehr für einen gelungenen Abend...

Leider kann ich nur zwei Sterne vergeben. Als wir ins Grand Cafe kamen, war nur ein Zweiertisch belegt. Alle anderen Tische waren frei. Man muss vorn am Eingang warten und wird dann an den Tisch gebracht. Wir wollten gern am Fenster sitzen, aber das wurde uns untersagt, weil wir ja nur zu zweit waren und die Tische am Fenster für 4 Personen sind. Wir mussten dann an dem Zweiertisch, direkt hinter der Kaffeemaschine sitzen. Grundsätzlich wäre das ja kein Problem gewesen, wenn es wirklich um die Personenzahl ginge, aber das war scheinbar nicht so. Denn dann kam ein niederl. Paar in den Laden, zu zweit, und nahmen am Fenster Platz, nicht an den noch freien Zweiertischen und ein weiteres niederl. Paar nahm auch zu zweit am Fenster Platz. Das war absolut nicht in Ordnung. Das Essen dagegen war in Ordnung, sogar mehr als das, es war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Preise waren auch in Ordnung. Die Halloweendeko sah auch toll aus. Schade, dass das mit dem Tisch nicht so toll war. Wir versuchen es im nächsten Jahr vielleicht nochmal.

Heerlijk eten, mooi opgemaakt, regelmatig wisseling van de kaart, vriendelijk personeel, avond vullend indien gewenst!

Das 1909 Grand Café ist ein sehr gemütliches Lokal. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist super angerichtet und schmeckt hervorragend. Und der Dessert ist nicht zu toppen! Wir können dieses Lokal nur weiter empfehlen. Beim nächsten Urlaub werden wir dort wieder essen. Danke an das gesamte Team, ihr seid super 👍🏼

Sehr leckeres Essen (super Burger, toller Pfannekuchen und leckere Sandwiches), welches alleine vielleicht sogar 5 Sterne gebracht hötte. Wenn der Service nicht überfordert gewesen wäre. Es hat viel zu lang gedauert und es wirkte etwas chaotisch. Abgesehen davon echt zu empfehlen.

Goede kaart, goede bediening en heerlijk eten.

Heerlijk eten. Spelletje om te spelen voor of na het eten. Kindvriendelijk en erg vriendelijk personeel.

Dit is echt een topplaats om iets te eten en of te drinken. 1 maal steak en 1 maal kabeljauw. Deze gerechten waren echt op en top, even had ik de vrees dat het een tijdje zou duren, maar niks was minder waard. Geen wonder dat het restaurant binnen zo goed als vol was. Hier komen we met plezier terug!

Heren hadden burgers met frietjes, was lekker. Ik had een salade met geitenkaas, top! Leuke entourage om te zitten. Jong en nieuw (maar wel vriendelijk) personeel. Wachttijd was 15 min. , prima dus.

Prima restaurant. Alles vers uit eigen keuken. De surf& turf is een aanrader.
