Even for vegetarians, everything is done to put the most delicious dishes on the table. I enjoyed it and like coming here.

We had high expectations of this restaurant that had previously received a Michelin star. The prices are in line with a top restaurant, but the dishes did not stand out. The flavors were often completely out of balance. The wine arrangement was sparse, it seemed more like a driver's arrangement. But unfortunately that was not the price. The wines weren't very exciting either. All in all a somewhat disappointing evening. We won't be coming back here again. The region is poor in good restaurants, but it is better to choose one of the other Den Helder restaurants where you get value for money...

Fantastic food at c'est la vie. The 5 course menu was very varied and tasty. Extensive wine list and super luxurious and attractively decorated. The service is nice and informal and very professional. Come visit sometime.

It's always a treat when everything is perfect from start to finish in a restaurant and this evening it was spot on! First of all, the decor, overlooking the North Sea, this restaurant is a pleasant place to be. Decor is top notch and so is the first introduction to the service. Small tip, play some Ibiza-like lounge music, it suits the ambiance more. House wine was so good that we drank it all evening. The food was of a ridiculously high standard. appetizers top and then the bread. Brioche executed to perfection. All dishes not only looked beautiful but tasted perfectly. This has to be a star restaurant, otherwise those Michelin guests will be sleeping. The service was at the same level as the food, so you had the perfect evening!

Beautiful setting , amazingly detailed food with outstanding flavours. Each course served was given with a description of the food and its origin, each courses presentation also top of its class. This restaurant is by far the best in the area. I look forward to this whole experience again ! Well done everyone there , it surely shows your high standards and levels of professionalism !!!!

A fine dining experience in the tip of North Holland like no other! Highly recommended!!

We had a really delicious meal here. We had bread, tomato soup and the ribeye as a main course. This was all very tasty! We enjoyed every bite. When we ordered, we received vegetables for two. 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 carrots and a few beans. That was very poor. When we asked for a little more, that was of course possible. We later saw on the receipt that another 3.95 had been charged for this. Still special when you hardly give anything for 2 people in vegetables with two dishes for almost 60 euros. I also ordered pepper sauce. Ribeye and that was also charged 3.50, this was not on the menu. Still a shame! We paid for it, but I actually think that's special. You should have mentioned this on the map. Furthermore, we had a delicious meal and I say keep it up, but adjust the menu. And give the customers more vegetables, it's so healthy! 👍

Enjoyed a great Christmas dinner! All courses were very well taken care of. The wines also paired very well with the dishes. The service was friendly and relaxed, not as formal as is sometimes the case at a restaurant with an (almost) star. We will definitely come back!

Delicious food, super nice service and super nice location!

In één woord: indrukwekkend! Gastvrij ontvangen, als aperitief een glaasje “prik” bij de openhaard is altijd goed om mee te beginnen, plus drie amuses. Gekozen voor vijf gangen. Veel smaken uit de zee; oester, kaviaar, langoustines, heilbot, scheermes. Als vlees gerecht een heerlijk stukje dubbel doel rund. Vlotte bediening met veel (wijn) kennis en flair. De sommelier is zeker een topper met de uitgekozen wijnen. De chef maakt intense smaken en mooie combinaties die modern worden gepresenteerd.

Unieke locatie op de derde verdieping van grand hotel Beatrix met uitzicht over de Noordzee. Bediening zeer kundig en vriendelijk. Sfeer en uitstraling van het restaurant is chique waar je als gast gewoon met een gulle lach aan tafel zitten genieten. Gerechten zijn uitgebalanceerd. Proporties kloppen en de smaken zijn goed op elkaar aangesloten. Wijn spijscombinatie bij 7 gangen goed gearrangeerd. De chef kwam nog even aan tafel om te vragen of alles in orde was. Absolute topper was het gerecht met roomijs van biet kaartjes van aardappel en coquille en een beure blanc met zee-egel. Ongelofelijke creativiteit en smaakbeleving. De vraag: was alles naar wens? Is niet voor de vorm. Bediening luisterd naar de complimenten en naar de kleine aanmerkingen. Worden doorgegeven aan de keuken en wordt een terugkoppeling over gegeven. De gehele avond krijgt een dikke 9,5.

It was a wonderful evening. The individual courses tasted amazing 🙏🏻 One star deduction because we reserved the table via the Table app and couldn't make any comments about allergies/vegetarians. When we entered the restaurant the first course began straight away without any questions…

Super genoten gisteren van een gastronomisch 4-gangen menu. Helemaal top!

Genoten van het 5 gangen verrassingsmenu met het bijpassende wijnarrangement. Zeer lekker eten en goede wijnen. En ober Mitch heeft van de avond een hele leuke belevenis gemaakt.

Samen met mijn vrouw een heerlijke avond gehad. Verrassende gerechten en smaken met als hoogtepunt de zeer attente bediening.

Heerlijk 4 gangen menu. Dit rooftop restaurant bevindt zich in een oud hotel en straalt een warme en familiaire sfeer uit. Echte aanrader!

This place IS worth a stop! Restaurant is at the top floor of a hotel with nice view and non pretentious pleasant atmosphere. Food made with the freshest ingredients, tasty and looking beautiful. 4 course meal actually had 8 servings and great wine recommendations. Service was excellent!

Heerlijk gegeten en goede wijnen en whiskey. Zeker de moeite waard.

Heerlijk genoten van uitstekend menu en lekkere wijn goede bediening een echte eet beleving.

Heerlijke culinaire pareltjes op het bord. Een belevenis was het De wijnen erbij .. de uitleg van Demi en Mitch ( Somonlier ) Ivar ( gastheer) maakte het dat wij écht een avond uit waren en nog lang nagenieten van al die heerlijke smaken ! Dank jullie wel

Een hele fijne avond beleefd. Was al wat rustiger volgens de bediening, maar dat vonden we eigenlijk helemaal niet erg. We zouden eigenlijk voor een gangen diner gaan, maar uiteindelijk gekozen voor losse gerechten. De vegetarische dingen op de kaart waren erg beperkt, maar heerlijk ! Fijne bediening, die vaak genoeg even langskomt om te checken of alles naar wens is en/of er eventueel tekorten zijn.

We komen hier ongeveer een keer per jaar, ons favoriete restaurant in de noordkop. Gisteravond ook weer heerlijk gegeten; het 5-gangen gastronomisch menu, uiteraard met bijpassende wijnen. Leuk enthousiast jong bedieningsteam. Uitzicht op zee en het mooie Huisduinen. Zelf wonen we in het Zuiden, dus overnachten dan in het hotel, lekker makkelijk ook. Aanrader!

Prachtig interieur. Gerechten, wijn en kwaliteit van bediening vallen echter tegen. Jammer voor zo’n mooie locatie. Dit kan beter.

Mooie plek/uitzicht op zee en vuurtoren. Eten vond ik niet super, veel peper die te overheersend aanwezig was.

All dishes were prepared with love to the food. A subtle seasoning makes the best of ingredients stand out. The service was nice and friendly too. Our dietary restrictions were carefully taken into account.

Wij mochten hier op 22 juli 2022 een bruiloft filmen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het hotel heeft een mooie ligging met uitzicht over de zee. Het eten is zeer goed en erg lekker.

Ein grandioses, regional geprägtes, teilweise überraschendes und sehr kreatives 7-Gang-Menü, welches durch diverse - auch traditionell niederländische - Zwischengänge auf 12 Gänge ausgedehnt wurde. Dazu ein Service, der nur eine Note verdient hat: eine glatte 10 von 10. Auf Sonderwünsche (kein roher Fisch), wurde spontan, wie selbstverständlich eingegangen und Gänge durch ihre vegetarischen Alternativen oder gänzlich neue Kreationen ersetzt. Das Restaurant mit seinem direkten Blick auf das Meer bietet die passende Atmosphäre. für einen insgesamt unglaublich lohnenden Abend. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, erst recht bei dem Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis!

Nous avons passé une magnifique soirée ! Vue sur la mer et le soleil couchant. Excellente cuisine créative, originale et surprenante par l'association parfaite des saveurs. Mmmh, heel lekker 😋👌 Service impeccable et très agréable et pourtant, nous ne parlons qu'un tout petit peu le néerlandais... nous avons pu comprendre et nous faire comprendre avec un mix de néerlandais, d'anglais et de français. Très belle adresse pour passer un délicieux moment!

Küche und Service auf Sterneniveau in perfektem Ambiente mit großartigem Blick über die Nordsee. Absolute Empfehlung.

Heerlijk gegeten, fijne bediening en een goede akoestiek maken dit een fijn restaurant.

Wir haben im angeschlossenen Hotel übernachtet und dieses Restaurant war für uns der Abschluss eines wunderbaren Tag. Äußerst lecker was wir hatten …. Vorspeise-Hauptgang-Nachtisch inkl. Wein und Drinks. Es wurde ein aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service geboten ….. die Preise sind angemessen. Je nach Tisch mit einer netten Aussicht auf die See. Ist zu empfehlen 👍
