it's that I have to give 1 star, but otherwise this place definitely deserves 0. super bad staff. I went with my partner for a nice bite to eat (we thought) we were helped to the table and the table was reserved later, which is no problem at all of course! but while we were sitting there, tables were added, and chairs were added very inappropriately because we were still sitting there. We were not asked for food at all or if we wanted anything else, in the end we ordered 2 drinks, paid and left. was terrible will never come back here again. strange tent.

A super nice place in Den Helder. Been twice now and both times pleasantly busy. Friendly, sharp and smooth service. The food tastes good, the price quality is excellent! I would love to come back here again.

Lekker gegeten. We konden toch nog een plaatje bemachtigen op de thema avond, want daar is een hoop animo voor. De spareribs waren goed gaar maar ik had niet het idee dat er veel verschil zat tussen zoet en spicy en ook de bbq smaak misste ik en leek het alsof het in de oven was klaar gemaakt. Zo ook het vispannetje misste de bbq/grill smaak. Verder was het zeker voldoende en lekker. Leuke bediening en een goed prijs!

Good menu, but sorry...toasted cheese with onion and some other things on it...didn't seem like anything. 2 Paper thin slices of bread, cheese...I really had to check if it was there, and I didn't see what else was supposed to be on it. Fried too hard. Didn't make any sense. But it was nice to sit there. Service fine.

Wij waren hier met de hele familie, 16 personen. Tafel was klaar en heel efficient opgebouwd. Speelhoekje voor de kleine kinderen waar dankbaar gebruik van werd gemaakt. Het was vol en daardoor wat lawaaig. Ondanks het grote aantal personen kon er individueel besteld worden en het eten kwam snel. Was bovendien perfect toebereid en kwam warm op tafel. Service was heel vriendelijk en opmerkzaam ondanks de 'volle tent'. Voor kleine kinderen is een compleet dessert te veel, zonder problemen werden er enkele bolletjes ijs geserveerd. Iedereen was zat en tevreden!

Went out for dinner with good friends last Thursday and really enjoyed the food (sparer ribs menu). Very personal service by staff. Arrival 6:30 PM to 10:20 PM. You could enjoy a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere. In short, an establishment to recommend with very good price/quality, so a very satisfied guest....

On an "exploratory tour" through Den Helder we ended up at Flow. The warmest welcome and when we ordered lunch we were really surprised. My friend wanted the Tuna Salad but asked if it was made fresh. To put her words into words, she was given a sample in a container to taste! We don't experience that (anymore) in the Randstad. Had a delicious lunch and something to drink. Also a very nice and cozy city café in terms of interior and appearance. We will be back 😉

Génialissime, aussi bien la salade césar que le plat avec morue/saumon. Nous avons passé un excellent repas en couple et l'ambiance était top. Les serveurses/serveurs sont très gentils également. Bref, on recommande vivement !

You can go there! Also twice ;-) Ate there in the evening. Very good portions and very tasty! Pasta in sauce with 10 fatty and fresh prawns, that can be something...or the BBQ fish pan...or the pulled pork...boy boy! The staff is almost devoted to their guests, that in itself was great. The only caveat: it's a little loud. All in all, two thumbs up! Thank you for everything ;-)

We had received a gift voucher, and had never been here before, a nice and attractive restaurant, modern yet with a warm appearance. Friendly and fast service, and normal prices. We only had coffee and pastries for now, but we will definitely come back to try the menu.

Delicious food, good atmosphere and good service. I received flowers from the people we were having dinner with and the waiter was kind enough to fill a wine cooler with water so that the flowers were in the water. Really great! Steak was really delicious, yes really great food here

Very nice restaurant with nice staff. I was there on a Tuesday and only then can you eat unlimited spare ribs, chicken or fish. That is well worth it. A table companion had spilled his espresso and received a new one straight away. Definitely recommended!

It's a pity that Den Helder is so far away from IJsselstein, otherwise we would certainly have eaten here more often. Dit is inmiddels wel ons stamplekje waar wij altijd heen gaan met het gezin om van alles te vieren. Van verjaardag ( zoals vandaag) tot jubileum of mijlpaal, altijd keren wij terug bij flow!!!! Staff change did not do any good, sat on the terrace for 20 minutes, the waiter walked past several times but received no attention, had to really dance like a monkey on the table before they saw me They pass by, the "old" permanent staff is really good but the young guard still has a lot to learn The colleague from the waiter who was sitting on the terrace had her drink within 1 minute and the rest of the waiter only had an eye for a chat with her instead of serving customers

We hebben op zaterdag 1 juni hier gezellig gezeten en prima gegeten. Het restaurant is in een grand-café stijl ingericht. Vlotte bediening, eenvoudige kaart tegen goed betaalbare prijzen.

Was not sure from the outside appearance on a windy cloudy day whether this was for us. However the inside is lovely, airy and relaxing. Service was absolutely great and my salmon sandwich on dark brown bread was delicious and generous. Less veggie choices for hubby but he said his omelette was good.

Had a delicious meal with a number of colleagues, enjoyed the Flow Bites. A special version for myself due to allergies. With or without allergies, you can eat here with confidence. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice. We called in advance about allergies and a check took place again upon arrival. When I was handed over the dessert menu, I was immediately told which desserts I could order. Enjoyed the panna cotta. Team Flow, thanks for the fun and good care, keep it up. Rarely have I eaten somewhere with such peace of mind. Would love to come back again.

Had coffee and eaten cake with family in this beautiful place. Everything is tastefully decorated and has a luxurious appearance both downstairs and upstairs. This has even been implemented in the toilets. The covered terrace at the front of the business is also very nice. The service was very attentive and interested.

After a short walk through the city, I accidentally "bumped" into this City Café! The "Lunch menu" looked nice and promising... We sat outside on the terrace until the rain started, then we moved to the covered terrace. I chose the Pulled Pork Sweet with Sweet Spicy Frites, my partner went for the Wrap with Carpaccio! Super tasty! Recommended... Operation and services were TOP...

At Flow the food is always delicious, whether you come for lunch or dinner...always good. You can also go there for a nice cup of coffee, with something tasty. Also very friendly staff.

You shouldn't expect much from the service, especially if you sit upstairs. Unfortunately, this has been the case for years. We waited for 30-45 minutes when an owner's jellyfish came to replenish supplies. After a while he came to ask if we were ready, to which we replied that we had been for a long time. He didn't like Toon and he thought we'd better leave. The story was of course shared with acquaintances, and it turns out: the gentleman cannot handle criticism anyway (no matter how/by whom it is given). We won't be back.

Zijn nog nooit zo asociaal geholpen door de “eigenaar”. Als je niet geholpen wilt worden moet je naar flow gaan en vooral boven gaan zitten. Geef je aan dat je al een tijdje wacht wordt je onvriendelijk geholpen en kan je maar beter weggaan. Heb gehoord van bekenden dat de eigenaar weinig kan hebben en totaal niet weet wat gastvrijheid is. Jammer dit want kwam er vaak.

Today we spent a day in Den Helder from Friesland and had lunch here. Nicely decorated and a nice atmosphere. We were upstairs and had a great spot here. Food was good. Service also excellent and everything was delivered quickly. Music was a bit too loud for us. As a result, it was sometimes a bit overbearing during the conversation. Overall a great place for lunch. Will definitely come back here again.

Relaxed, cozy atmosphere, friendly and committed staff, they put their own twist on the food and we really liked it. Due to circumstances we haven't been there for a long time, but we are going to change that. Had a great evening.

Lunch met vier personen. Eten qua kwaliteit in orde, derhalve de opmaak van de borden laat zeer te wensen over. In een woord fantasieloos. En het oog wil ook wat. Wij hadden een plaats direct onder de trap. Het werd gedurende de lunch steeds irritanter om op die plaats te moeten zitten. Als iemand de trap op-/afloopt klinkt dat heel erg door. Als kinderen dan naar boven of beneden rennen is het helemaal een overlast gevende situatie. Jammer, bovenstaande heeft onze lunch op negatieve manier beïnvloed.

Flow is top voor mensen die glutenvrij moeten eten. Daarnaast veel lekkere opties.

Food was fantastic and they were also great with gluten free. They have a special menu with all the allergens and have quite some options without gluten. Also they do fries in a separate deep fryer to make sure they are gluten free. Highly recommended

Op een doordeweekse dag voor aanvang van het lichtfestival op goed geluk binnen gestapt bij Stadscafé Flow. We waren vroeg, en dat was ons geluk. Er was nog een plekje vrij, boven in het lounge gedeelte. De rest was allemaal gereserveerd!! We bestelden Saté met frites en salade en wat te drinken. Het zag er prima uit en smaakte heerlijk. Service was prima, personeel erg vriendelijk. Sfeer leek wel goed. Wij waren er nogal vroeg, dus misschien beter te beoordelen als je er later bent. Sanitair prima in orde. Je moet hier dus duidelijk van tevoren reserveren!!!
