The worst steak I've got here. They ruined a meat!

The service was incredibly friendly. We didn't have a reservation, it was busy, and they still made room for us. The food was delicious, and the service was super friendly. Highly recommended.

We dined here with a small group. We arrived quite early and were quickly given the menu and drinks. After that, it seemed like we weren't noticed anymore, and it took a long time before we could order. Several people ordered a medium-rare steak. They received a well-done steak. What a waste of meat. It was supposed to come with fried mushrooms and onion. Well, I think it was three slices of mushroom and two slices of onion. The mixed salad was good, though. The fries seemed fried in fat that wasn't quite right. Brittle and far too small. You eat them because you're with other people and want to eat together. Sending them back to the kitchen is simply inconvenient and impractical. Someone had a dish with fish and baby potatoes and described it as dry. He didn't eat it. And you pay between €25 and €30 for such dishes. Which is fine if the quality were truly good. But to my regret, I have to conclude that it's not worth it.

If you are in Den Helder, definitely recommended

Ate mussels, tasty but small. The restaurant can't do anything about that.

The food is excellent, compliments to the kitchen staff. Service is a typical case of running around looking but not seeing (observing). Clearing tables, ordering dessert, and asking for the menu doesn't really show hospitality. Tip: pausing occasionally and looking around would make things much easier.

Ate the worst CÔTE DE BOEUF Dry Aged | 450 gram | Saus naar Keuze 34 euro. Very tough, no taste and middle part rare instead of medium rare as recommended!

I went with a friend to test the carpaccio here, she took the sandwich and I had the salad. Both super tasty! The service was also very good. Fast, correct and very friendly. When leaving I forgot my bag and left it on the terrace. Fortunately it was found and I was called quickly pfff I was very happy with that! Thank you very much dear people, I will definitely come back!

Very nice place! What a nice service. There was no more room at a table but we could order and have an aperitif in the comfortable seats. A special request regarding the food was accepted without fuss and executed perfectly. The food was just good. Recommended.

glutenvrije opties. Steak was heerlijk. Zijn voldoende op de hoogte van gluten. Lunch is het brood glutenvrij niet lekker. Veel te droog. Niet aan te bevelen. Voor de avond is de steak heerlijk. Ze hebben speciale allergenen kaart.

Staff change did not do any good, sat on the terrace for 20 minutes, the service walked past several times but no contact was made They pass by, the "old" permanent staff is really good but the young guard still has a lot to learn The colleague from the waiter who was sitting on the terrace had her drink within 1 minute and the rest of the waiter only had an eye for a chat with her instead of serving customers A few days later, having a drink in the evening, a group of drunk people are shouting and cursing throughout the restaurant If nothing is said about it, leave after 1 drink, report it to the waiter Stupid reaction, you should have reported it earlier... You're not a pub, are you?

We were 4 adults and 2 kids. They did not give us a table because of our kids. Terrible service!

Delicious Food and live music on a Friday night, 10/10

Friendly staff greeted us immediately. Drinks came quickly. Outdoor seating was plentiful, with shade from trees and umbrellas. Sunny spots are also available. Ordered nachos. Took very long to be served. They forgot about the order. Nachos were served cold with hardened cheese. Toppings were skimpy at best. Barely any cheese, which is the point of nachos. Without the cheese, we were basically eating an overpriced bag of tortilla chips. Handful of scallions and onions sprinkled on. Which tasted weird without the cheese. Regular sides of guacamole, sour cream, and sweet and sour sauce (?). Don't understand the sweet and sour sauce. Interesting blend of Mexican and Asian food. Don't recommend it honestly, but that's my taste preference. When I want Mexican I want salsa, not sweet and sour sauce.

This is a great place. You will receive an exceptionally hospitable and cheerful welcome here. Also a very attractive decor and very nice service. The appetizer, bread with butter, is very good, you won't find that much delicious fresh and tasty bread anywhere else. Main course: chicken thighs is nice but this could be better. Not much salad and very monotonous little taste. It didn't look attractive (in my opinion). A small red container with what looked like red cabbage. A nice skewer of chicken thighs and more than enough, but the bite was a bit flat, this could have been seasoned better. It came with a nice bowl of spicy sauce. Also excellent hot fries in a nice bucket, but the quantity could have been a little more. Still definitely recommended, a big 4 stars, if only for the overall picture. We will definitely come back here again

Had a delicious meal yesterday. Unfortunately, our first and 2nd choice were both sold out, but a super alternative was offered on our own initiative. How nice when people think along like this! We can still enjoy a delicious piece of meat together with a very tasty garnish. Will definitely come back here again :D

You can have a delicious lunch & dinner here, but make sure you reserve in advance to avoid disappointment.

We had flow bites...it was very tasty, the service was also good and the atmosphere was really nice. The only thing that was a pity is that they have adjusted the flow bites, which is of course always good to keep changing in your menu, but we didn't like everything as much anymore... but tastes differ, if you like goat cheese it will certainly be tasty. Staff is very friendly and the wines are tasty..

Menu changes regularly and always offers something surprising. The food is always good. The steak, perfect. The interior is regularly refreshed and it shows. Service is good, they think along with you, a good dose of humor here and there creates the atmosphere. Flow is the place for a cup of coffee, a tasty meal or an evening of cocktails. For years the best place to go to in Den Helder.

Always pleasant to eat here. Quality and taste are good. Plenty of gluten-free options, but it is limited to a piece of meat or fish. A gluten-free beer would complete it. Service is good and can explain the gluten-free options well.

Tipped to have a bite to eat here, had a delicious ribeye on day 1, service is very friendly. I liked it so much that I went back the next day for the unlimited BBQ chicken thigh. I can't complain about the price either! Day 1 31.70 and day 2 25.90

it's that I have to give 1 star, but otherwise this place definitely deserves 0. super bad staff. I went with my partner for a nice bite to eat (we thought) we were helped to the table and the table was reserved later, which is no problem at all of course! but while we were sitting there, tables were added, and chairs were added very inappropriately because we were still sitting there. We were not asked for food at all or if we wanted anything else, in the end we ordered 2 drinks, paid and left. was terrible will never come back here again. strange tent.

Lekker gegeten. We konden toch nog een plaatje bemachtigen op de thema avond, want daar is een hoop animo voor. De spareribs waren goed gaar maar ik had niet het idee dat er veel verschil zat tussen zoet en spicy en ook de bbq smaak misste ik en leek het alsof het in de oven was klaar gemaakt. Zo ook het vispannetje misste de bbq/grill smaak. Verder was het zeker voldoende en lekker. Leuke bediening en een goed prijs!

Good menu, but sorry...toasted cheese with onion and some other things on it...didn't seem like anything. 2 Paper thin slices of bread, cheese...I really had to check if it was there, and I didn't see what else was supposed to be on it. Fried too hard. Didn't make any sense. But it was nice to sit there. Service fine.

Wij waren hier met de hele familie, 16 personen. Tafel was klaar en heel efficient opgebouwd. Speelhoekje voor de kleine kinderen waar dankbaar gebruik van werd gemaakt. Het was vol en daardoor wat lawaaig. Ondanks het grote aantal personen kon er individueel besteld worden en het eten kwam snel. Was bovendien perfect toebereid en kwam warm op tafel. Service was heel vriendelijk en opmerkzaam ondanks de 'volle tent'. Voor kleine kinderen is een compleet dessert te veel, zonder problemen werden er enkele bolletjes ijs geserveerd. Iedereen was zat en tevreden!

Went out for dinner with good friends last Thursday and really enjoyed the food (sparer ribs menu). Very personal service by staff. Arrival 6:30 PM to 10:20 PM. You could enjoy a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere. In short, an establishment to recommend with very good price/quality, so a very satisfied guest....

On an "exploratory tour" through Den Helder we ended up at Flow. The warmest welcome and when we ordered lunch we were really surprised. My friend wanted the Tuna Salad but asked if it was made fresh. To put her words into words, she was given a sample in a container to taste! We don't experience that (anymore) in the Randstad. Had a delicious lunch and something to drink. Also a very nice and cozy city café in terms of interior and appearance. We will be back 😉

Génialissime, aussi bien la salade césar que le plat avec morue/saumon. Nous avons passé un excellent repas en couple et l'ambiance était top. Les serveurses/serveurs sont très gentils également. Bref, on recommande vivement !

Pasta in sauce with 10 fatty and fresh prawns, that can be something...or the BBQ fish pan...or the pulled pork...boy boy! The staff is almost devoted to their guests, that in itself was great. The only caveat: it's a little loud. All in all, two thumbs up! Thank you for everything ;-)

Claiming to be vegan is incorrect.

We had received a gift voucher, and had never been here before, a nice and attractive restaurant, modern yet with a warm appearance. Friendly and fast service, and normal prices. We only had coffee and pastries for now, but we will definitely come back to try the menu.

Delicious food, good atmosphere and good service. I received flowers from the people we were having dinner with and the waiter was kind enough to fill a wine cooler with water so that the flowers were in the water. Really great! Steak was really delicious, yes really great food here

Very nice restaurant with nice staff. I was there on a Tuesday and only then can you eat unlimited spare ribs, chicken or fish. That is well worth it. A table companion had spilled his espresso and received a new one straight away. Definitely recommended!

What a super tent! Friendly staff, fast service, great atmosphere and what delicious food! My steak was delicious and my hubby's flow burger was absolutely delicious. It's a pity that Den Helder is so far away from IJsselstein, otherwise we would certainly have eaten here more often. If you are in Den Helder and you like atmosphere and good food...Stadscafe Flow!!

Dit is inmiddels wel ons stamplekje waar wij altijd heen gaan met het gezin om van alles te vieren. Van verjaardag ( zoals vandaag) tot jubileum of mijlpaal, altijd keren wij terug bij flow!!!! Atmospheric atmosphere, very friendly staff. The menu is very varied, so there is something for everyone. We all had a delicious meal. This was our first time here, but it is definitely worth repeating.
