There is no lime tree on the terrace of the Grand Café, but a large horse chestnut. That doesn't diminish the atmosphere on a sultry evening. You can eat well here. But it can be even better. The presentation of the dishes was somewhat variable. The sea bass was covered in vegetables, while the steak had to make do with a few potatoes. The service was enthusiastic, but could not prevent the waiting time from being a bit long, especially for the desert. But it was a great stay, partly due to the weather and atmosphere.

We had a nice meal on a moderately busy Saturday evening. One very nice steak dinner and a vegetarian Japanese ramen noodle dinner. After 7 pm people show up to socialize with others for drinks and snacks.

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Er werd gevraagd of we een broodje met dip wilden voor het eten en dat wilden wij wel. We hebben zo zitten kletsen dat we er thuis pas achter kwamen dat er geen broodje dip is gekomen. Heb bon jammer genoeg niet meer en weet dus niet of ik deze betaald heb. De hamburgers op de kaart zagen er zeer luxe uit, op het bord was het gewoon een droge hamburger met wat saus. Viel dus absoluut tegen. Jammer: entourage is gezellig, personeel is vriendelijk.

Heb hier nu 5x gegeten. Het wordt elke keer slechter. Personeel heeft geen horeca mentaliteit, Niemand heeft leiding of overzicht. Slechte prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding.

The staff didn't know if they had jasmine tea, I just had to choose a flavor from the container. Food was good, actually expected smoked salmon, but should have asked. It was now picked fried salmon, but original. Sandwiches were well filled, but we went home hungry. Price quality okay, but small portion/sandwich.

Personeel vriendelijk wist n niet of ze jasmijn thee hadden, moest maar gewoon smaak uit bakje kiezen,. Konden niet goed uitleggen wat voor broodje wat we bestelde was, zeer beperkte lunch kaart, kleine portie / boterham. Rijkelijk belegd, prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Gingen met honger weg, maar komen nog wel een keer terug.

What a disappointment! I will never come back here again! I came here for dinner and ordered a hen. When I cut into my chicken, blood was dripping out. When I pointed this out to the employee, he took the dish to the chef with a lot of effort and with a super friendly face (not so). A little later he came back with the food and said, this is slowly cooked chicken. That's how it should be. Eat and don't whine, that's how it came across to me. I don't feel like doing anything tonight. We pass by by chance and see a lovely terrace. It's not too busy and we fall into a lounge sofa. We are considering a dinner or drinks dishes such as tapas. The choice falls on the latter and we order 6 dishes. What a great choice, wonderfully tasty, generous snacks. The camembert from the oven and the dumplings are particularly excellent. There is nothing negative to say then. Oh yes. We should have had 2 x 3 snacks or a 2nd round after the first round. Delicious food and seating, friendly young lady Floor who served us nicely and recommended a delicious glass of wine. Surprising top dinner.

Gisterenavond hebben we bij restaurant De Lindenhof gegeten, en hoewel het eten van hoge kwaliteit en kwantiteit was, was de ervaring helaas niet helemaal naar verwachting. Laten we beginnen met het positieve: het eten was fantastisch. De kwaliteit van de ingrediënten en de bereiding van de gerechten waren top. We hebben ontzettend genoten van de smaken en de porties waren royaal. Het hoofdgerecht, een steak van 700 gram die ons werd aangeraden, was mals en perfect gegrild. De begeleidende sausjes volgens het menu waren echter een teleurstelling. Desondanks was het eten zelf werkelijk heerlijk en daar kunnen we niets op aanmerken. Helaas was de service deze avond ver onder de maat, wat onze eetervaring negatief beïnvloedde. Toen we ons hoofdgerecht bestelden, werd ons een steak van 700 gram met een mix van sausjes aanbevolen. Echter, bij het serveren van de steak werden slechts twee sausjes gepresenteerd: aioli en pesto. Deze combinatie bleek niet erg passend bij de steak. Wat ons nog het meest verbaasde was de afwezigheid van de pepersaus, die volgens de menukaart bij de steak hoorde. Bij navraag hierover werd ons verteld dat er zo snel mogelijk aan zou komen. Dit leidde tot een wachttijd van ruim 10 minuten, terwijl onze steak op tafel lag af te koelen. In die tijd zagen we de bedieningsmedewerkster ruim 15 minuten op het voorterras praten met een vriendin. Pas nadat ik zelf naar binnen was gelopen om te vragen waar de saus bleef, werd deze uiteindelijk geserveerd. Hierdoor was onze steak tegen die tijd al behoorlijk afgekoeld. De uitleg dat de saus nog moest worden opgewarmd om 19:30 tijdens het diner vonden wij opmerkelijk en niet erg professioneel. Dit was merkwaardig, maar wat ik belachelijk vond. Niet omdat het mij geld kost maar uit principe, werd er ook nog €0,50 in rekening gebracht voor de pepersaus, waar we dus veel te lang op hadden gewacht. Het feit dat we moesten betalen voor een saus die er al had moeten zijn en waarbij de service nalatig was, vonden we ongehoord. De ervaring bij De Lindenhof was gemengd. Het eten was uitstekend, maar de service heeft helaas een negatieve stempel gedrukt op onze avond. Het leek alsof de klantgerichtheid ontbrak en dat was zonde, want het restaurant heeft duidelijk potentieel. Vanwege deze ervaring hebben we besloten om geen fooi te geven, wat voor ons ongebruikelijk is gezien de kwaliteit van het eten.

This combination turned out not to be very suitable for the steak. What surprised us most was the absence of the pepper sauce, which according to the menu belonged to the steak. When inquiring about this we were told it would arrive as soon as possible. This led to a wait of over 10 minutes while our steak was cooling on the table. During that time we saw the waitress talking to a friend on the front patio for more than 15 minutes. Only after I walked in to ask where the sauce was was it finally served. As a result, our steak had already cooled quite a bit by then. We found the explanation that the sauce still needed to be warmed up at 7:30 PM during dinner remarkable and not very professional. This was strange, but I found it ridiculous. Not because it costs me money, but out of principle, we were also charged €0.50 for the pepper sauce, which we had waited far too long for. We found the fact that we had to pay for a sauce that should have already been there and where the service was negligent to be unheard of. The experience at De Lindenhof was mixed. The food was excellent, but the service unfortunately left a negative mark on our evening. It seemed like customer focus was lacking and that was a shame because the restaurant clearly has potential. Because of this experience we decided not to tip, which is unusual for us considering the quality of the food.

NEVER AGAIN! Visited this establishment for the 4th time today. Always liked it before, but after today we won't be back. Discussed lunch with a group of 10 people (family weekend due to Easter). Ordered food from the nice boy at the counter. I had a glass of Riesling, nothing special in itself, but I thought it would be nice with some avocado toast. The Riesling was put down and after 1 sip I noticed that this is not how a Riesling should be, much, much too sweet. On the menu it is offered as 'slightly sweet', but it should not be cloyingly sweet. Others who tasted agreed. I went back to the bar to report this. The young manager indicated that he had 'smelled' that the wine was good and indicated that it would be bad luck if I didn't like it. I asked if I wanted something else, but he wouldn't take it off the bill because taste is debatable. I didn't respond to that, as a customer you shouldn't be insulted. It was not believed that the wine might not be good; according to the young manager, it was a matter of taste. I have never seen such behavior, as if I were interested in a 4.20 glass of wine! It is a matter of principle: you offer something that is not good, the customer returns it after 1 sip, while you think you are saying that the wine is good because 'you smelled it...' Also a stupid move commercially: we did not leave a tip and will never return and will not recommend this business to anyone after this unpleasant experience. The worst part was that after we were outside, a waitress came by to ask (in English) what we were making such a fuss about. That created an embarrassing scene outside, as a passer-by I would immediately walk through. No, this place has quite a bit of potential, the food is fine, but the attitude of the management is so deplorable that I advise everyone to skip the Lindenhof from now on, there are plenty of other catering establishments where you can spend your money. I have eaten here a few times now. After first asking for the menu, I walked to the bar to get a menu after waiting half an hour, which was sloppy. I once ate croquettes on bread, which is even better in the snack bar. 2 dry sandwiches, served with no butter, 2 croquettes, but certainly nothing green at all, but asking top price for them. That was exactly the same with my hamburger menu, nothing green at all, but again the main prize. It's a real shame that you serve menus with greenery that would be so much more appreciated. I thought the service was a real disaster.

Met een groep lekker gegeten in een goede sfeer. Door de groep duurde het diner langer dan gepland (8 couverts ongeveer gelijktijdig). Bediening goed, kwaliteit van eten ook.

Jammer dat het niet meer zo gesmeerd loopt als "vroeger" er gaat veel mis. Alles duurt lang en moet opnieuw gevraagd worden. En, géén Eiwit meer van de tap, heel erg jammer. Verder ook heel weinig, alcohol vrije speciaal bieren en mocktails. We missen de oude, oplettende en attente bediening.

Te lang doorbakken burger op wat ouder broodje + hoopje slappe zoete aardappel friet = 18 euro Variëteit aan biertjes / drankjes wel goed. Te duur voor de kwaliteit van het eten. Je betaald voor de locatie, het mooie terras en het grote mooie gebouw. Advies: ga er alleen wat drinken.

Gezellig terras, geen service (alleen QR). Je betaalt er wel naar; limonade kost €4 en de crostini van €5 bestond uit een droog geroosterd broodje met een bakje tomaat ernaast). We hebben verschillende gerechten gegeten waaronder een cevice van knolselderij. Gerecht was compleet smakeloos en slecht bereid. De smaak kwam niet in de buurt van cevice en de plakken waren super dik (personeel gaf aan dit met een snijmachine te bereiden, maar alle plakken waren scheef en varieerden van dikte). We hebben dit na 1 hap aangegeven aan het personeel. Zij waren niet bereid in gesprek te gaan. Het was "dat is een kwestie van smaak", met een agressieve toon. Heel jammer. De rest van het eten was ok. Ik zou dit plek niet aanraden door de service.

Mooie locatie en een gezellige tent. Heerlijke koffie met een appeltaartje. Zeker de moeite waard.

Bij de loungeset moet je bestellen via de app en direct betalen. Bij de stoelen op het terras niet ! Bij het loungeset gedeelte werd door bediening niet snel genoeg opgeruimd. Etenswaren en eetgerei lagen er lang terwijl bediening langs liep en hier niet naar keek. Toen wij via de app bestelde kwam er een stel bij de deur staan die niet meer terug wilde komen naar dit restaurant. Ze vertelde dat ze een rekening hadden betaald die van iemand anders bleek te zijn en dat ze ook nog lang op het eten hadden gewacht. Wij bestelde twee drankjes beide in orde. Duurde wel even. Tweede bestelling twee drankjes en bittergarnituur. De drankjes duurde lang, deze hadden wij al op.. lang daarna kwam pas het bittergarnituur die overigens lekker en verassend was (anders dan andere tentjes) dat was wel fijn :D De keuken is goed, de bediening dramatisch. Tip aan de bediening : Wat meer om je heen kijken of er vuil is en de gasten begroeten als ze komen of gaan zou niet misstaan.

Werd er snel en vriendelijk geholpen, heb er een hamburgertje mee genomen die smaakte me goed. Maar t prijskaartje er van... Tjonge is alles wat ik daar over zeg.

Zojuist erg lekker gedineerd! Het eten is van een hoog niveau. Het is helaas de bediening die er voor zorgt dat ik maar 3 sterren kan geven. Na binnenkomst kregen we de dinerkaart waarna er na 30 minuten nog geen eten werd opgenomen. Ook tijdens het eten wordt er geen actie ondernomen als er lege glazen op tafel staan. Na het hoofdgerecht moesten wij weer zelf vragen om de menu kaart voor het dessert. Koffie en thee hebben we uit eindelijk maar laten zitten want ook hier werd geen aandacht aan besteed. Wij hadden met alle plezier zo 30/40 euro extra uitgegeven als er iets meer/beter personeel zou werken.

We zaten op een prachtig plekje, maar na tien minuten nog geen bediening. Gelukkig wonen we om de hoek, even gezellig en stukken goedkoper!

Het eten was lekker.Ik had een vegetarische burger en die was heerlijk en zeker aan te raden.Het was een fijne en rustige plek om te zitten.De bediening was aardig en vriendelijk, maar het duurde wat lang voordat de bediening naar onze tafel kwam.

Mijn man bestelde Thom Yam soep en ik een vis salade. De soep was goed van temperatuur en helaas was mijn vis salade heel karig. Één gamba, twee gefrituurde inktvis ringen en een afgestreken lepel tonijnsalade, met veel verse sla en zonnebloem pitten. Op de menu staat ook dat er gerookte zalm erbij hoort. Bij afrekenen gaf ik dit aan. De vrouw die ons hielp deed navraag bij de keuken. De kok beweert glashard dat er wel zalm bij zat. 15 euro armer voor de sla. Een onwaardig gerecht.
