Had a delicious lunch. Beautiful place. Highly recommended.

It was quite quiet on the terrace of this Grand Café during lunch. We had coffee and tea, which were nice and hot and tasty. The food was a different story. My wife had a lukewarm köfte sandwich and I had a stone-cold fried eggs. It seemed like it had been ready before we arrived. It didn't take long for our food to arrive. After the waitress commented about the cold food, she said she would pass it on. We never heard anything more about it. A rather misguided decision, and a reason for us not to visit this place again.

At that moment, it was the only terrace open in the morning sun. A mint tea, a slice of Limburg cream, and an apple pie. The apple pie and flan at Hema are much better. Not recommended.

While walking around Kampen, I stopped here for tea or coffee. The coffee platter, with a variety of treats to go with the coffee or tea, was a nice touch. Fresh and delicious. And importantly, good coffee.

We went for brunch, which was very plentiful and good. The staff were friendly and always present.

Tables around were being taken/served. However, we were ignored. After 20 minutes we walked on to the lord and master. Prices are also more favorable there.

The food was ok, the salad said 'red onion', but there was no red onion in it (disappointed). The service staff did not crack a smile. The atmosphere had nothing to do with the restaurant, it's what we made of it.

I was here for a drink last week, but I didn't enjoy it. If I were to be in camps again, I would rather not be here again, someone from the staff was rather curt.

The sandwiches are not what you would expect for the prices they charge. The "Deluxe" chicken schnitzel sandwich was a dry Turkish bread with a schnitzel on it that only covered half of the sandwich with a few lettuce leaves to give it some appearance. The "turkish sandwich" was also very sparsely topped with cheese and a few slices of meat.. Hopefully the other rolls are "luxuriously" lined. Fortunately, the sun on the nice terrace made up for it a bit.

Spoiled coffee milk with coffee, dried up in the cup. Asked for new coffee milk up to 3 times... but unfortunately. No sorry or excuse.. Toilets unkempt and without paper..

Delicious lunch! Tasty food and especially very good service with gluten free food. Many sandwiches can be made with gluten-free bread and it doesn't cost much extra! Beautiful place in Kampen, definitely worth coming back to.

I have eaten in many places in the Netherlands and I must say that Grand Café Efes stands head and shoulders above the rest, delicious food and above all great value for money. Just had a delicious Omelet Efes where for 10 euros you get 2 full plates with egg, bread, salad, feta cheese and everything else you need for a good breakfast. In addition, nice and friendly staff and owner(s). If you are in camps, definitely recommended!

Grand Café Efes in Kampen is highly recommended! Delicious Turkish food, warm atmosphere and super attentive staff who ensured that our children lacked nothing. Every dish tasted perfect, and dessert was a great ending. A great experience with top service - we will definitely come back!

Had a lovely pastry on the terrace this afternoon. Service very good. Friendly staff. Cheesecake with caramel tasted delicious. The flan with hot chocolate was also delicious. We enjoyed the view and the beautiful weather.

Wat een onvriendelijke arrogante dame, halflang haar, die bediende op het terras. Een vieze asbak met een stuk soepstengel werd op de tafel gegooid. Geen fatsoenlijk woord kon er af. Geen visitekaartje voor het bedrijf.

Pushy service. First time we were asked what we wanted to drink, before we could even sit down. Woman goes to the toilet. In the meantime, I was asked 3 times if I had already been able to make a choice, even though I had already noted that I was waiting for my wife. Once chosen (two coffees) I received the comment with a sly smile "Was that so difficult? Gehehe". Attitude of the café: Quickly order something, leave money and go. Fortunately, we didn't order a brownie with the two coffees. The coffee, on the other hand, tasted good!

I have only sat on the terrace, but I find the atmosphere very pleasant and the waiting staff very friendly and efficient. The owner himself also made a round to check if everything was in order and to greet acquaintances. Also open early on Sundays! (Unlike many other catering establishments in camps). Drink boards looked very good. The only downside for me was that they use pork for the shawarma (I'm not a fan of that) and that I think the price for the Turkish pizza and baklava is on the high side.

Ordered a gluten-free sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was so small (baguette slice) that lunch was actually nothing. After indicating to the waiter that this was not lunch, nothing was done with it. In fact, I had to pay extra because it's gluten free!!! Ridiculous! Now on the way to the supermarket for food.

We had a nice meal here. But we came in with wet coats from the rain. I am disappointed that no one from the staff shows you the cloakroom. The toilets were also really dirty, I came across toilet paper on the stairs, and no toilet paper in the toilet. The ordered Efes dish was cold, after being 'heated up' in the kitchen, the food was still cold and now also dry and tough. When paying, the waitress asked if it was to your liking. We indicated no and she blamed us. It's not okay to blame your guests. I don't recommend eating here.

In addition, this salad, which did not contain any cucumber dressing or anything, was simply bad. Service was okay with drinks but that's it.

Always busy on this terrace so we thought it would be good. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The bouncer was well done with brown edges. Add old lettuce without dressing. The kofte was delivered without sauce. Missed opportunity for this case.

Het eten is te vergelijken met een daghap. Verwacht niks speciaals. Maar waar ik echt van baalde was dat in een sinas bestelde maar een fanta light kreeg en ik die wel moest betalen. Ik heb mijn beklag hierover gedaan, dat ik ook geen light had besteld. “Dat is ons beleid mevrouw”, was het antwoord. Vreemd beleid dat je wat anders krijgt dan je besteld en het dan wel moet betalen. Verkeerde manier van geldgraaierij.

Na een mooie stadswandeling even lekker lunchen. Grand café Efes zit midden in de stad aan een mooi plein. De mogelijkheid om binnen te lunchen was ook aanwezig maar wij kozen voor het grote buitenterras. Veel bediening aanwezig en wij werden snel voorzien van koffie. De serveerster vroeg direct of wij de terras heater aan wilden hebben. Na de koffie hebben wij beiden een lunchgerecht besteld. Dit werd redelijk snel uitgeserveerd maar het was geen hoogstandje. Het broodje met kipsate was prima maar de bijgevoegde salade had geen toegevoegde waarde. IJsbergsla zonder enige toevoeging of dressing. Jammer maar doe het er dan niet bij, of het is bedoeld als vulling van het bord. Mijn vrouw had 12 uurtje besteld, een broodje kroket en een broodje ei. Lekker maar gewoon. De prijs staat niet in verhouding met de kwaliteit. Het geheel is lekker maar wat meer “aankleding” en beter brood zou de gasten meer plezieren. De bediening is vriendelijk en snel met uitserveren. Het was niet al te druk.

Super avond gehad op het terras. Keuken was eigenlijk dicht, maar toch wilden ze wel even warme hapjes maken. Top.

Buiten op het terras gezeten, leuke lokatie in het centrum van Kampen. Lekker gegeten, voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht, met een drankje. Kopje koffie na. Schappelijke prijzen. Als we in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker nog eens terug

Perfecte eet gelegenheid, vriendelijke bediening en snel. Mooie lokatie.

'Kan ik ook een klein saté-tje bestellen van de kleine kaart? 'Geen probleem' zei de ober. 'Dat is fijn want ik heb niet zo'n honger' zei ik. 'Dan hoef ik er geen broodje bij' meldde ik ook nog. Onbegrijpelijk dat er bij het afrekenen 3x werd gezegd dat er alleen van de grote kaart na 17u besteld mocht worden. Ik moest bijna een 10- tje meer betalen, terwijl ik er geen brood/patat bij geserveerd had gekregen. Ook bevestigde de ober mijn verhaal, geen coulance. Onprofessioneel, met zo'n houding als bedrijf verlies je klanten.

Zeer onsympathieke bijdehante oudere vrouw werkt hier met een hele onvriendelijke uitstraling! Wijn besteld met 1 cm verschil per glas! Dat kan gebeuren maar volgens mij los je dat dan netjes op! Mevr er vriendelijk op aangesproken! Kreeg een hele nare zeer onsympathieke reactie ! Het viel wel mee riep ze ! Of ik serieus was? Ze schreeuwde dat het druk was en dat ik een nare man was toen ik zei dat ze een review van me zou krijgen ! Iedereen op het terras keek en de mensen naast ons spraken er schande van ! Deze vrouw is geen reclame voor de zaak!!!

Moeilijk contact krijgen met de bediening. Eten hoef je hier niet te doen naar mijn mening. We hadden spicy pizza en broodje shoarma. Verloren blaadje sla op je bord met vlees en 1 broodje, sauzen moet je om vragen. Geen pittigheid te bekennen op de pizza, paprika en uien grof en te rauw. Ben vanuit Turkije veel beter gewend. Misschien in fe svond gezellig om te borrelen maar verder hoeft het voor mij niet perse.

Prima plek om een drankje te doen op het terras. We hebben er niet gegeten.

Lekker gegeten. Bediening was wat nors en de kaart stond vol met spellingsfouten. Verder is de sfeer goed en het eten lekker.

Wat een sfeer op dit terras , echt een onvergetelijke ervaring gehad midden in de winkelstraat in Kampen. De lunch was overheerlijk. We komen hier zeker weer
