Grand Café Haagse Bluf in Wijk 28 Centrum

Wat een gezellig restaurant. Het dakterras is leuk op een mooie avond. Helaas is er weinig avondzon door een hoog gebouw ervoor. De service is amicaal en goed. Het eten is prima. Ik heb lekkere gamba's vooraf gegeten en een salade biefstukpuntjes als hoofdgerecht. Ook nog een erg lekker nagerecht. Chocoladecake met ijs en slagroom.

Hier prima geluncht bij koud weer, op de 1e verdieping met mooi uitzicht. En zelfs met een lift bereikbaar. Lekkere pannenkoeken, nette prijs en prima bediening. In de zomer is er een mooi dakterras, voor een andere keer!

Went in for a little afternoon snack after a long walk in the city center. The location is nice and the staff is friendly. However the poffertjes were really disappointing and definitely not fresh. The texture was spongy and they weren’t warm, which can only mean they were microwaved. We’ve never had that before in a restaurant, let alone for that price… The smoothies were pretty good.

Wonderful / spectacular service, with a warm and festive ambiance (it was holiday season). Incredible Dutch cuisine, especially Dutch pancake and pea soup. They also serve good coffee.

The most beautiful terrace in The Hague! What a great spot. We just went here for a glass of wine and a sandwich. Wine was not fantastic but okay, the bread was very good, the spreads were less so, but still fine!

It’s beautiful, there is a terrace on the second floor, the service is slow, so they didn’t leave like the two couples with us. The food was ok.

Nice and cozy terrace, always a spot in the middle of the city. Decent prices and, on my advice, take the bitterballen with truffle.

We ordered satay, we asked if it came with fries. She had to ask a colleague about that, no, that wasn't an option. We wanted it anyway. Received one satay skewer with some raw vegetables and a small piece of bread for €15. My surprise when I read the reviews here and saw a photo of someone with a large plate of satay with fries. Staff has no idea what is on the menu. Not recommended. Haagse Bluf is also whipped air.

Special place in the heart of The Hague

A quick stop in this shop tought us that not all cacao is tasty. The suggary mess was barely drinkable and was a grand disappointment. The coffee was okay, but nothing to write home about. I was a bit scared of some wooden boards on the way up, they a bit too much leeway.

And above all: a beautiful roof terrace!

Everything is good in this city now! And the atmosphere, and the food, and the service. I recommend! They ate ribs - it was incredibly delicious!

Friendly staff, good atmosphere and what you wouldn't expect, a huge space upstairs with lots of space and a nice overview from above. It is certainly not busy upstairs.

Came in for lunch yesterday, the restaurant has a lovely decor. We both had sandwiches - mine was smoked salmon with a mustard-dill dressing, very tasty. My husband had peri peri chicken which he liked. You can choose white, dark (waldkorn) or ciabatta bread - we had the waldkorn. We were about 30 euros for the 2 sandwiches, a small beer and a rose wine - the sandwiches were a decent size so reasonable value overall.

I didn't want to say anything about this at first, but I'm going to anyway. A few days ago my husband and I were craving fresh poffertjes. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, they finally arrived. 12 pathetic, fat, dirty pancakes. And they certainly weren't fresh. Straight out of the package… and for that price!! Scandalous. Too bad because it looks so nice. A one-off for me.

Had lunch for the first time today and it certainly wasn't the last time! In addition to the beautiful location, nice waiter and delicious food, the owner was also super customer-friendly! I had the tuna salad, didn't notice the green beans were missing and didn't miss it either, but a vinegar whiner next to us complained about it, she got a free drink. I commented to the owner that the salad was also great without beans, then she gave us a glass of prosecco, but I didn't want that because the salad was just delicious! But she insisted. So really a top place with delicious food (including the tuna salad without green beans) with super customer-friendly service 👌

Beautiful location and great service

Today, as a born Hagenees, I had lunch here for the first time. Operation and speed are top notch. I thought the food was disproportionate compared to the price. There was no Club Sandwich and with my other choice with brown bread I didn't think the bread was really fresh. My wife's choice was also poor. Maybe visit again in the summer to view the terrace, because it was still very warm inside.

Comfortable. Spacious. Nice decoration. Finally after some months it's renovated and back in business. We missed you. The service is fast and efficient. My favourite dishes are Thai salad, boerenomelet and uitsmijter. Coffee is also great. I hope the heated terrasse will open back soon despite the winter weather.

Mooie plek in het centrum van Den Haag. De zaak is binnen heel sfeervol het eten was heerlijk we hebben geluncht de lunchkaart is zeer gevarieerd. De bediening enthousiast en heel vriendelijk. We gaan zeker nog een keer en bij beter weer op het mooie terras.

We were looking for a nice place for lunch and as my lovely Dutch company was up for his beloved boterham/broodje as usual we came across the Haagse Bluf. As I got convinced that I should be 'a little bit more Dutch' this time I ordered a sandwich as well (the 'gezonde') which was basically nothing special but the combination of the toppings was well chosen! I also liked the other one ('carpaccio met pesto') a lot! As dessert we chose Poffertjes met Slagroom which tasted also really good :) The waitress was very kind and we liked the atmosphere, so altogether it was a decent Dutch lunch with my boterhammetje 🥪🥞

For the first time ever in the Netherlands, i had the fastest service. Well done for this efforts. The bites and drinks were delicious too

Mooi ingerichte zaak oog voor kunst en muurschilderingen. Vlotte bediening en zeer goede prijs kwaliteit. Ligt midden in het gezellige centrum van Den Haag. Een aanrader!!!

Ordered a Medium Steak, was rare. Doesnt want to eat another, no discount.

Feestje van het werk. Mooi en ruim terras. Wel wat losse tegels. Er waren twee bars ingericht waar je snel en vriendelijk geholpen werd. Er werd een lopend buffet geserveerd dat oke was. Leuke locatie je zou niet zeggen dat je in het centrum van Den Haag was.

We hebben heerlijk geluncht op het grote buitenterras. Van binnen ziet het er ook prima uit en is centraal in het centrum gelegen. Er is een lift aanwezig, als traplopen lastig is. Bediening heel vriendelijk en grappig. Kwaliteit ook prima. Ofwel een topzaak.

Heel erg lekker eten en een vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Gezellig dakterras waar je heerlijk van het zonnetje kan genieten.

Wat hebben ze hier een geweldig terras!!! Geweldig die plek bovenop het dak. Echt even het bezoeken waard. Vlotte en gezellige bediening. Lekkere lunchgerecht met hele snelle service. Gewoon prettig daar.

Als je de zon zoekt zit je hier goed, warm mini klimaat op dit prachtige terras. Koffie, cocktails, lunchlezing, groep of alleen het kan hier allemaal. Pak de lift als nodig.

Mijn favoriete terras. Hele snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Echt helemaal niets op aan te merken. Bij lekker weer moeite om een plekje te vinden omdat iedereen er wil zitten.

Leuk cafe, met de lift omhoog naar een mooie ruimte met een leuke sfeer. Vriendelijke service. Ribeye was mals en smaakte goed, hetzelfde geld voor de frietjes. De sorbet was lekker maar niks speciaals. Zeker een aanrader!

Our group booked in advance for an 8 pm arrival. We bought drinks and snacks, then more drinks. Suddenly at 9.30 they announced that they were closing early, for lack of customers, and made us leave, with food still on the table and drinks unfinished. Probably not the fault of the staff, who likely lost a couple of hours of pay, but a mean, money-grubbing boss. Never again.

We zaten in het Blufje. Wel raar dat je voor een wc buitenom moet naar het restaurant. (!) Verder wel heel vriendelijke bediening.

Good food from the Dutch kitchen. In the summer the roof terrace is subliem.

In the holiday season, the place is cozy and the staff is very kind. Ordered just a chocomel so cannot really judge the food, but I will definitely return this summer to try the terrace and some snacks

Het eten (vooral de hoeveelheid) is het hele lange wachten niet waard. Meer dan een uur moeten wachten op ons eten (na meermaals vragen hoe lang het nog duurde en telkens ‘nog 5 minuten’ te horen). 4 tafels rond ons kregen eerder hun eten, zelfs al bestelden zij ons later. Toen we dit meldden aan de eigenares zei ze ‘dat het druk was en de keuken random tickets neemt’. Heel onvriendelijk: blijf hier weg :)

Leuke tent. Jammer dat het verwarmd terras niet verwarmd was, maar binnen was ook goed vertoeven. Drankje en borrelhapjes waren prima!

De zaak is zijn naam waardig: echte bluf! Niks wat men belooft is waar: mooiste terras van Den Haag is absoluut niet correct. Geen zicht over de stad. En het eten is veel te duur voor wat men krijgt. Geen sympathieke bediening. Geen aanrader!
