Mustard soup, ribs, and pancakes with fruit. Wow. Simply amazing. The mustard soup is the best soup I've ever had. And the ribs, incredible. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Absolutely fantastic.

Well, long story short. I made a reservation, but upon arrival the kitchen was closed. No kitchen due to illness. No call, nothing... the phone number was known, I'd put it in the email. I came from Assen for nothing. A day later, I received a sincere apology with a voucher. I appreciate that.

Super friendly staff. And then the food is truly top-notch. The steak in pepper sauce is highly recommended and not too expensive.

On a business trip, I had breakfast and dinner there for a week. Excellent food, spacious, warm, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back next time.

A cozy and affordable cafe with friendly service and tasty food

I was here on a business tripp and came in shortly after the kitchen had closed. I did not expect anything... Now picture my surprise when I was served the literally best spare ribs of my life! Not exaggerating! That good! Also incredibly friendly personal.

A spacious and very cozy place to have a drink. It has a great selection of beers and a very friendly atmosphere. 100% recommended.

One of the most pleasant restaurant visits I've ever had. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was also very quick. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a mixed grill, which is perfectly fine. The spare ribs are top-notch, as is the creme brulee. It's a bit pricey, but the service and the fantastic taste are worth it. I would go back anytime.

We were here yesterday for the Groningen liberation tour. Unfortunately, this crowd was just too much for the service and many people stood at the bar for more than 20/30 minutes to order. There wasn't really a system in place and unfortunately it felt very chaotic. Service was friendly and the drinks were good too.

Not a good experience this time… With an ongoing buffet, Raw chicken and salmon, lukewarm food and no vegetables. Bar staff also kept their backs turned, causing you to have to wait an unnecessarily long time for your drinks. Although it was a good location in the past, they will now have to work to get the quality back!

First of all, my steak was served to me “well done”, even though I had ordered it “rare”. Admittedly, our orders messed up the service a bit. After a long wait, I received a steak that was cooked “rare” - but unfortunately it was almost inedible. It was difficult to cut, let alone eat, even with a steak knife because it was covered in tendons. With a heavy heart I sent the meat back. However, the service was extremely friendly and took the dish off the bill without discussion. After a portion of potatoes, I finally decided to leave the restaurant.

There were groups of noisy drunk people in the cafe area...pork tenderloin very tough, dry. Husband had spare ribs were good. Service took a long time before we were seen with an empty glass...cold inside. Bad experience not recommended for us

Unfortunately, the starter was good. The main course, twice the pork satay and a steak were not good. The satay was cold and the steak cold and raw, while we had asked for medium. The spareribs were fine. We indicated that we were not satisfied because the meat was cold. The comment we got back was: it is what it is. Unfortunately a missed opportunity. Not worth the money again for us.

The location is pretty and the waiter was friendly and the fries were very good but: 1. There were fruit flies everywhere and a spider web on the window 2. The bread for the Burger was cold 3. The price is to be too high for what was provided

Not a warm welcome. Pork tenderloin satay, dry, no tenderness visible. Complaint passed on, response oh that was the intention. This is zero customer oriented. Skip quickly and eat somewhere else

Food was great, service had kawgom in it. In addition, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our starter. When it arrived, he said that's great, sorry, it had been ready for a while but I didn't see it. Sorry about that.

The steak was tough, the gravy advertised tasted like Maggi ready-made sauce, the burger was half raw, the lettuce was wilted and with only 2 drops of dressing. The beer menu has no prices and upon request you get a price of €3 for the shandy, whereas the bill said €3.50. For the high prices we would have expected better quality. A pity!

Not recommended. When ordering the drink they did not have the first 3 things on tap. Salad came without a plate. Bread was cold. Main course was scanty and tasteless. Service is good. Too expensive for what you get.

Friendly staff, a bit slow only occasionally. We were not given menus at the beginning. In addition, very small portions, I left hungry after a starter and main course. All in all it wasn't worth it. We got salad as a starter, but no plates with it. The sandwich beforehand was even frozen. 4 portions of vegetables as a main course were small containers of carrots. Not happy, and I won't return.

Cozy restaurant with very attentive service. The prices are reasonable and the food is good and plentiful, in my case. Not a very extensive menu, but enough choice. Please note, with some dishes you must order a bowl of fries or potatoes separately

Food is great! Unfortunately, there is little choice and you get little for what you pay. Service is mediocre and the food is very expensive. If you order a steak, there are no vegetables and potatoes, because if you want that you have to pay +6€..

It was freezing cold in the restaurant. It was unbearable at the window. Changed tables but it was cold there too. Heating was turned on too late and "it is a monumental building so difficult to heat". You have to pay a lot extra for the side dishes (fries and salad) and they are nothing. Didn't have dessert because it was too cold to sit still. We will never come again!

Een oud gymlokaal een andere functie geven lijkt me lastig maar hier in Delfzijl is dat prachtig gelukt! Met behoud van de originele vloer en plafonds is er een goed geheel van gemaakt. Het klopt gewoon, komt daarbij gastvrije ontvangst en eten zoals het moet zijn. Goed!

S'middags wat Drankjes genuttigd met een bittergarnituur. S'avonds wezen eten, broodplank en mosterdsoep als voorgerecht. De lekkerste mosterdsoep die ik ooit gegeten heb. Daarna kippendijen en sate met friet. Had iets minder zout mogen zijn de sate(saus). Vriendelijke medewerkers.

Es hat sehr lange gedauert bis das Essen kam, das zeigt es wurde frisch gekocht und besonders die Bowl war der Hammer, ewig nicht so gut gegessen.

Mooie locatie. Minpuntje dat je binnen de muntjes contant moet betalen bij de automaat. En vervolgens buiten in de rij moet gaan staan voor de pin. Snap dat dit zo gaat tijdens evenementen maar is niet handig.

Ze proberen het wel.. we hadden broodplank je en wijn, de wijn was al niet echt heel.lekker bij het brood hadden we smeersels waaronder knoflooksaus ?!?! En kruidenboter wat niet te smeren was, helaas, ook wilden we graag een dessert van de kaart, en wat wij wilden was niet te krijgen, ook jammer dat er nog geen terras buiten was, het was prachtig weer

Wel wat rumoerig maar dat komt natuurlijk omdat het ook een café is . De saté was prima.

Gezellig en sfeervol restaurant in het centrum van Delfzijl. Leuke kaart met prima gerechten. Prijzen zijn schappelijk en bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Heerlijke gamba's gegeten en een drankje gedaan. Vriendelijke bediening, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Toen ik er was, was de verwarming stuk. Dan is het direct een stuk ongezelliger

Essen war so lala, gerade die Junge Kellnerin ist unfreundlich wie sau gewesen. Auf die Frage wo etwaige Dinge wie zum Beispiel der Fisch genau herkommt hieß es nur "aus dem Wasser".. Danke für nichts. Die Nudeln die dazu serviert wurden haben mehlig geschmeckt. War irgendwann nur noch genervt von dem Laden.

Heerlijk eten, mooi bar, top bediening.

Heerlijk gegeten en prima bediend. De schnitzel met kippenlevertjes is aan te bevelen en dat geldt ook voor de saté. Bediening vlot en vriendelijk.

Leuke locatie en een leuke ‘kroeg’/restaurant. Veel speciaalbieren. Het ontbijt was er heel goed. We verbleven in het hotel.

Gereserveerd voor 4 personen om 18.00 uur Hebben ze geen spareribs meer! Met tegenzin degambas genomen, smaakten naar karton. De manager stond te lachen in de keuken richting ons en laat de serveerster de kolen uit het vuur halen, gratis 2 gratis drankjes gehad, want ja we konden niet 2 keer de spareribs krijgen. In dit lokaal komen we nooit meer. Het hotel waar we overnacht hebben kreeg van mij een 10, maar het restaurant een 2 alleen de mayonaise was lekker, van calve denk ik.

Heerlijke spareribs en een toetje van de plaatselijke bakker. Super vriendelijk en gezellig geholpen. Hier komen we terug!

De sfeer was goed. Service kon er mee door, oudere mensen krijgen ruim de aandacht maar wij, stel van 50, kregen tijdens het eten geen aandacht. Spare ribs waren aan de kleine kant en hadden weinig smaak, waren wel goed gaar. De schol was ook flauw en de garnalen te gaar/taai. Gelukkig patat en salade bij besteld dus voldoende kunnen eten. Jammer dat je patat,salade e.d. apart moet bij bestellen en betalen.

Goed restaurant en lokale bar. Ruime opzetting en goede authentieke sfeer. Zeer goede en leuke bediening. De keuken is top en de Chef(s) heeft/hebben zeer goede smaak, voor wat betreft hoe een gerecht moet smaken. Voldoende aanbod op de standaard kaart, maar altijd iets bijzonders op/in het dagmenu. Tijdens de Corona zelfs een speciale Daghap voor de hotelgasten. Vooral de Nasi was/is erg lekker!
