Grand Café Noorderpark in Volewijck

No idea what the actual opening hours are. I have often stood in front of a closed door here.

First, a gentleman comes shouting at his daughter: today we are making a fuss about nothing and no one wants things when they want them (meanwhile a lady and I are standing at the cash register and he looks at us as if we are the problem.) Then he walks back and forth, his daughter was busy for a while and then he calls out, they're having a good time, they just wait. How rude can you be to your customers? It's really not polite! Prices too expensive and after this behavior I will never have to be so uncomfortable again, that shouting and then also that eye contact, yuck, disgusting!

The staff is is rude and disrespectful. The restaurant is supposed to close at 6pm. I arrived at 17:05, and was told they were closing so I could not order anything. My son goes to swimming lesson here so I hung around. About 15 minutes later I see a man go in and order an ice cream for his daughter. I asked for an explanation and was told they will close in 4 minutes so they were right to send me away 15 minutes ago. And they don’t care about my opinion or if I’m offended. If I don’t like it I should complain to the swimming pool management cause that has nothing to do with them. I literally have never seen such blatant disregard for customers in my life. My only explanation is that the young girls and older man that work here are terribly lazy so after 5pm get very selective about who they serve or not. I’m hoping that the fact that I’m not a white male, as apposed to the customer who did get served, has nothing to do with it... but I’ll let you draw your own conclusion.

It is more of a canteen than a "Grand café". No atmosphere, aimed at quick sales, high prices, so actually just not fun to eat. Too expensive for the quality delivered. Unfortunately, unfortunately. At the beginning of 2023, they increased the prices of coffee, for example, again. Now from €2.70 to €3.20. And that without further announcement. So in 1 year the price for a small coffee has increased by € 0.90. Sad. From now on, a coffee from MacDonald for me. It contains 3x more and costs €2.30 (the old price of the "Grand Café").

Rude service, very poor experience. Not recommended

Unfriendly and poor service and unpleasant food. Two of the food orders never arrived. The drinks arrived a long time after the meals. The meals are not presented well and the sandwiches are dry. We raised these concerns to both the attendant as well as the manager but nothing was done to rectify the situation and no compensation was made to apologize.

Prima tent, maar opent tegenwoordig (op zaterdag) altijd pas na 9 uur. Wat vervelend is als je koffie wilt halen als je aan het wachten bent bij de zwemles van je kind. Terwijl hij volgens de website open is om 9 uur.

Aardig personeel en goed service .

Café ligt aan het zwembad noord. Fraai ingericht, ruim en de bediening was vriendelijk.

Heel erg gezellig en leuk restaurant met een heel mooi terras! Het heeft een gezellige sfeer en ziet er fantastisch uit! Het bedrijf heeft een nieuwe start gemaakt en het is perfect! Het restaurant is heel erg mooi geworden van binnen en het terras ziet er erg goed uit! De mannen die het bedrijf runnen zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij! Zeker een aanrader deze zaak. Echt een hele mooie plek aan het Noorderpark!

Eten op zich wel lekker (friet) maar de heer die er werkt (ik vermoed de eigenaar) wat een afschuwelijke vent! De dames die er werken doen ontzettend hun best maar meneer behandeld ze als vuil zo jammer... Ik hoop dat iemand gauw ingrijpt deze vent zou niet met personeel mogen werken!

Leuk park om te spelen met je kinderen maar ook om er te joggen.

In het noorderpark wordt regelmatig iets georganiseerd, dit is een ontmoetingsplek waar iedereen samen komt.

Como el parque es grande, este es un lugar bienvenido y no debería tener ninguna preocupación llenando el lugar. Desafortunadamente, esa es probablemente la razón por la que no muestran el esfuerzo de dar la bienvenida a la gente. El servicio no se extiende a tomar su pedido en la terraza, que es solo unas pocas sillas al azar. Esto podría ser una gran ubicación, pero lamentablemente no es tan grande.

Geweldige bediening, snacks, soep en ander heerlijk voedsel met liefde klaargemaakt !

Goede bediening en gezellig personeel

Laagdrempelig, vriendelijke mensen en leuke plek.

De openingstijden van het grand café kunnen afwijken van de openingstijden op de site. Het is niet echt een grand café, maar meer een bar met een terras met aan de andere kant het zwembad. Het personeel is ok. Het geheel oogt wat chaotisch.
