A truly peculiar café: I have rarely seen a waiter combine rudeness, irritation, and arrogance so consistently. Anyone who does not value hospitality will feel right at home here.

It wasn't great. We felt like we were bothering them. A few small pancakes were scattered on the plate for an exorbitant price. The toilets were dirty. The soda was served without a glass. In short, if you have another option, go somewhere else.

Absolutelty awesome! The staff here is from another dimension: soooo polite, helpfull and funny. We came back here every day and hope to came back in the future. THE BEST SPOT!

We were trying to choose two 14€ cocktails, but the owner interrupted us 3 times in less than 2 minutes. He was very rude with his face and words too, so we took 2 coke zero just to not give them more money. That's not how you treat a customer

Serive not the best. We went there for drinks. We were asked if we want to eat as well, and we said no. After that, they immediately asked us to pay for our drinks. The server served the table next to us, and accidently spilled a drink on my boyfriend. He apologized to us and went inside. We thought he would give us a napkin or something to clean, but he only came back with a fresh drink for the other table. We did not get any napkins. I went inside myself and asked for napkins, and the boss (probably?) of this place very slowly gave me a few. But I could tell that he was not happy doing it. He didn't even say a word. Would not recommend this place and will never visit again.

Very disappointing experience at Pancakes & Burgers in Amsterdam. Not even a minute after we sat down, an older waiter with a beard came to ask if we were ready to order. When we indicated that we needed a little more time, he replied in an unfriendly tone that we “only had one minute left”. That is not how you treat guests. We came to enjoy our meal in peace, not to be pressured. This employee's attitude was very unprofessional and anything but hospitable. Unfortunately, this poor service completely ruined our experience.

Very poor service. We barely had time to look at the menu. The waiter came several times within a few minutes to ask if we wanted to order and eventually said in an unfriendly manner that we had one minute left, otherwise we would have to leave. We left immediately. Absolutely not recommended.

A great spot for an evening beer and to soak up the Amsterdam vibe. We only popped in briefly, but the atmosphere made us stay for several hours. The chef was a total blast! He's a dedicated guy who makes you feel instantly welcome. Places like this are remembered not only for the place, but above all, for the people. I definitely recommend it! 🍻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A nice little spot along a canal, perfect for eating on the terrace in the summer and watching the barges go by. We weren't bothered by cars since we rarely saw any. The staff were friendly. We decided to have a classic cheese crepe and a chicken burger. The fries served with the burger were too greasy and practically inedible (is that how they're cooked locally? I don't know). The burger and vegetables were fine, no complaints 👍 A 10-minute walk from the Torture Museum.

A very nice spot near the Greenhouse. The food was excellent, and the waiters were polite and attentive. André, in particular, was a very friendly waiter who made sure you felt comfortable. I would definitely come back, and the prices are typical for this area.

Situated right on the canal. Food was lovely offering a wide range of pancakes, sandwiches and drinks. Lovely service, Andrey is super friendly and very accomodating.

We’ve been coming here for three days in a row, and every time we were welcomed with the same warmth and kindness. The waiters were so friendly, smiling, and genuinely attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, but what really made the place special for us was the people working here. We felt comfortable, cared for, and happy to come back every day. 🤍

We only got fries and some beers so can’t comment on the food more broadly. The staff were great, clearly working hard to make sure all customers were being served and happy. Location was great to kill some time next to the canal before our walking tour.

Tourist trap. Ask for a glass, they say okay - sure. You get a pint saying thats the only option on the menu.

The restaurant is in a good location, but unfortunately, it didn't impress us overall. The coffee came from a machine and tasted awful. In addition, the staff was very unfriendly, making the visit disappointing. Therefore, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

The owner was incredibly unfriendly and unkempt; he didn't even say hello. The place was shabby and smelled of urine. The cappuccino tasted like it had been sitting out for two days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!

Rude staff, purchased a round of drinks and was half way through my coffee before the guy told us have to go because its breakfast time when there were other tables available and no one waiting to sit. Would have ordered more had it not been for this unnecessary rude staff member.
