Well, maybe it was too cozy with the owner... He brought dessert with the lame joke, "SMELL THIS..." I thought, no way! My husband got the sorbet shoved right under his nose, and sure enough, right up his nose. In hindsight, that was a step too far for us. My husband will never eat there again. ..

1 cook and 1 waiter this Sunday, but the service was excellent, and the speed of the dishes was excellent considering the number of tables occupied. They were well-maintained and friendly.

Friendly staff and very tasty food. The soup and salmon sandwich are above average here. The coffee with fresh waffles is also top-notch.

A cafe, nothing more, nothing less. It's always a shame that, for the sake of speed and convenience, good-quality food ends up in the deep fryer instead of the frying pan. But then again, the price reflects that.

I remember this place from the old days as the Wishing Well. It's been beautifully modernized inside. We had a lovely lunch outside in the sunshine. The soup is a bit salty, but I mentioned that. Otherwise, everything was fine. The cheerful waiter even took care of our four-legged friend with a cookie and water.

Delicious food. Cozy and clean decor. Friendly, efficient service. But we arrived at noon, opening time. And if the waiters already start with dirty aprons, I think that's really unacceptable.

My sister and I took the "Happen & Stappen" package, which starts with apple pie at the starting point. We walked to this restaurant for soup and then back to the starting point for a "uitsmijter" (fried eggs) or pancake. Drinks are at your own expense. We had a map and description of the route, but luckily we also had a GPX file. The route was sometimes difficult to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We ate here with our Social Deal. This also contributed to the excellent price-quality ratio. Always nice: a carafe of (tap) water on the table. The service was friendly, the food was good. In short, definitely worth a return visit.

Friday evening... What are we going to do? Groceries and cooking? Or...? We haven't been living in Leersum for very long, so there are still quite a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity that we haven't been to yet. Tonight was the perfect opportunity to tick off another one. This time to Grand Café Reyck. Starter (carpaccio), main course (mussels) and dessert (Irish Coffee). Absolutely satisfactory! Nothing spectacular, but just as you would like it to be. This was the perfect place for an evening like tonight. I think the restaurant would be wise to take a critical look at the appearance of the outdoor furniture. As far as I'm concerned, many more people who are in the vicinity of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug should visit here.

On Friday evening the entire restaurant was empty at 7:00 PM. That didn't feel right because the terraces were full everywhere along the way. With doubts we ate there anyway. Staff walked around with dirty aprons. The coffee was brought by the chef in a very dirty apron. We had satay. The kroepoek was gone. How so because there was no one there. Later 3 tables with people. 1 couple walked away. It was reasonable. Lettuce not fresh. Found the place dirty. Not a second time for us. Should have listened to our feelings.

Enjoyed a 12 hour break outside on the terrace... food tastes good, nice place to sit too, in short, we will come back again

Nice weather so get out and about. On the route through Doorn, we stopped for a drink and a snack at Grand Café Reyck. There is still plenty of room in the sun on the terrace, so we opted for a table with a bench. Service was a bit strange, I had never experienced how the question was asked if we wanted something to drink. Ordered a beer and a wine and before I finished speaking the waiter was on his way back inside while I also wanted to order a snack. Successfully called him back. The serving was also not as expected, young lady came to the table and shouted wine and then beer. Even when she came back with appetizers, she first went to all the other tables until we told her that it was for us. Also got the idea that she did not speak the Dutch language. After consuming our drinks, the waiter walked by at least 4 times without asking if we wanted anything else to drink. Paid and left! Not a good impression unfortunately... Possibly better next time!

We had a last minute walking package through social deal. Cup of coffee with something tasty. And after our walk in the nature reserve behind it, a two-course lunch. Friendly and smooth service and of course the sun also played a wonderful role in a great day out.

Nice location (with good parking). Spacious interior, nice to have a quiet conversation. And an excellent menu: Reyck is recommended!

We had a nice walking package. First a delicious cappuccino with a waffle or apple pie. After the walk a delicious two-course lunch. And a big compliment to the very nice host with humor!

Pleasantly surprised by this attractive yet somewhat hip grand café in Doorn. We had lunch and all three loved it. A brown floor roll with mackerel salad, a sandwich and a white Floor roll with ham/cheese omelette. Nice idea too, to sell regional products! We brought a bottle of mulled wine. Super friendly service, good prices and delicious homemade butter cake with coffee/tea. We will definitely come back!

We always have a delicious meal here, super friendly and loving service! The boneless spareribs are especially delicious! Also kudos to the Reyckburger - with tasty Reyck sauce! The only thing I miss is vegetable croquettes on the lunch menu 😊

See a lot of good reviews, but our experience is really different: dishes were tasteless, the presentation on the plate also did not look nice (boring!) The wine is sour and seems cheap. It took too long between starter and main course. We won't be back!

Our lunch was mediocre. Croquettes poorly cooked on old, toasted bread. Ready-made pancakes. Not recommended in terms of food. Location is also nice, play area for children.

Tonight we had dinner with five people during our holiday in this Grand Café. Compliments for the delicious food, top service and the beautiful business. Highly recommended. It's that we come from Limburg, otherwise we would definitely come here for a bite to eat more often.

This restaurant is conveniently located close to hiking trails. There is a spacious terrace with plenty of sun and shade on the lively Driebergsestraatweg. The apple strudel is delicious and fresh. Friendly service by the owner.

Cheescake (home-made judging by the structure, also tastes great) and ice cream. Friendly service and nice little terrace very close to the road. This also makes it ideal for passing cyclists and lunch guests.

Had a delicious high tea. It was great that there were ginger strung on sticks on the table and fresh mint. It was all very tasty. Worth repeating.

It was our first time here after having been to the Wishing Well for at least 40 years. We really liked it, the new owner has really turned it into something beautiful, we will keep coming.

We have been here several times. After 3 months, I went here again. What happened here, the atmosphere is gone. The waiter does not know his trade and assumes that you are coming to eat, but is not asked. Starts right away with what is on the menu, while we just came to drink a Latte Macchiato, which also did not taste good. A wrong choice for us. We will not visit this restaurant again. Too bad, it was nice here in the beginning.

We know Paul from his restaurant in Amerongen. So when he and his partner opened Reyck, we went there for dinner. We have now eaten there for the fourth time and it is a pleasure to dine there every time. However, we do miss Paul a bit, because he has shifted his attention back to Buitenlust.

Ate with social deal, nice introduction to this restaurant. Will definitely come back to taste the rest of the menu.

What started as a social deal, coffee and cake, walking and then lunch, grew into a dinner. Pleasant owner, good, plentiful and affordable food.

Good food in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere

Excellent meal in a nicely decorated restaurant with good and friendly service. And not unimportant, the only restaurant near Driebergen with a decent children's menu! Due to the L-shape of the restaurant, you can easily sit with children in one corner with lots of games and other things for the children, and you can also sit on the other side if you want to eat or drink something without children. We will definitely come back.

Christmas lunch with family. Limited selection, lots of sugar and pancakes. Bread and fillings are fine, rolls and bread, salmon eggs, quiche pieces…. It was fine but outrageous that the price was 24.50! We will never do this again!

Goede ambiance en zeer vriendelijke bediening die oog hadden voor details. Een mooie plek om na een lange wandeling rustig en aangenaam te dineren

Gezellig met de hele familie een lunch gehad maar eerst een wandeling in het bos. Al met al een leuke ervaring bij Reyck. Ja zaterdag middag is het er druk maar dat waren wij ook, dus laat je daardoor niet weerhouden.

We waren er nog niet geweest, maar wat een leuke, gezellige en warme zaak. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en we zijn top bediend. Gaan er zeker nog eens terug 😍

Samen met een vriendin op een doordeweekse avond gegeten bij Grand Café Reyck. Het was rustig die avond, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Er was tijd voor een praatje en persoonlijke aandacht en dat hebben we erg kunnen waarderen. Daarnaast was het natuurlijk fijn dat we lekker gegeten hebben. Een aanrader om een keer heen te gaan.

Mooi grand café, het eten was goed. De bediening leuk. Je voelt je daar welkom.

Was een pannenkoeken restaurant. Kwamen hier na enkele jaren terug en was het dit geworden. We hebben er heerlijk geluncht en komen zeker terug.
