Had lunch on a weekday. The food was very good and there was a wide selection on the menu. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

A week's holiday in our own country: Doorn. We tried almost all the restaurants, and SPOTT was the only one that stood out positively, both in terms of food and hospitality. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

Spott Food & Drink – Doorn Discovered this location through Google Maps, and what a wonderful surprise! Spott is situated in a beautiful setting, housed in a charming and stylishly renovated mansion. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We had a delicious lunch on the terrace and opted for the fish platter – a surprising and flavorful dish. The quality of the food, the beautiful presentation, and the peaceful location make this a highly recommended place. We'll definitely be back!

Tonight the two of us and our daughter had a wonderful meal here! And what a great service from the staff, our daughter got some delicious sandwiches and she ate them up nicely. My wife had an eel on toast as a starter and I had an eel tartare, which was really delicious! The Edam burger and the Bavette were also great! We sat outside on the terrace. We will definitely come back again!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was burgers with a small basket of fries next to it. The fries are fried deliciously crispy. The burgers are fried deliciously, and cooked to just right, so that they are deliciously juicy. Very good and friendly service. The terrace is located on the main road and quite busy, but despite the crowds it is fine to have a conversation with each other.

We didn't arrive until late on Sunday evening. Staff was super friendly. Delicious food! Maybe some bread could go with the starter. Everything tasted delicious! We were not looked away at all despite the fact that we were by far the last!

Nice restaurant/cafe with plenty of parking spaces at the rear. We had a nice tasting beforehand. We thought it was a bit on the small side for the price, but everything on it was very tasty. Just like the main courses, sateh, burgers were good and so were the tournedos. Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and informal.

Nice and attractive restaurant. We sat in the conservatory with a burning candle on each table. Very cozy when it gets a bit dark. Friendly and helpful staff. Main courses fine. Tuna steak excellently cooked. Spare ribs tasty. The prices of the starters and desserts are really over the top. Shame. It was nice that we could still get a table after a day of cycling.

So far I've only been here for the espresso, I can't say anything about lunch or dinner yet, that will come later! In any case, restaurant Spott is located in an accessible location in Doorn (parking lot around the corner at the A.H. with free parking). It is a very pleasant and beautifully decorated restaurant where you can sit and enjoy a drink with the newspaper on the reading table. Staff is young, but very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is managed by the friendly owner. The lunch menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Very successful interior with several tables, including a large table for larger groups. In short, an asset to Doorn!

Not exactly fantastic, to be honest. Service was not good, you can sit behind an empty glass for half an hour and no one will notice. If you want a refill you have to wave your arms. When the main course finally arrived the sludge sole had a spoiled taste. Don't order fish here. Coffee was good though.

Spott turned out to be a discovery last night. There were four of us and we had the cod and the burgers. Everything was delivered quickly and was beautifully laid out. The quality of the food was very good. The spicy Auntie burger with Sriracha and Jalapeño pepper was the best burger I have eaten in years and is worth a detour. The quality of this restaurant was also reflected in the sublime quality of the warm mixed vegetables. Great quality and a perfect bite. Kudos! The service was smooth and almost flawless. The price for all this was absolutely reasonable. Well done Spott!

Cozy place to have a nice and tasty meal.

Restaurant with a very cozy layout So it was a pleasant stay. Staff was very attentive and young I personally did not like the food, I had a tuna steak that was too raw and the fries were airfreyer level. My partner had a chicken burger comparable to the Kwalitaria burger, only more expensive. We won't be going back here again, a shame, nice restaurant

Nice place with really cool interior design. Terrace is nice but the rear 'wintergarden' is great with cobble stone flooring.

July 2, 2024 Went here today with my wife and our 2 dogs. Everything took a very long time, the hostess looked at us strangely because of our dogs. Apparently she was afraid of dogs, that's possible. Food was cold within a few minutes, 2 slices of bread and 3 toppings. Where is my 3rd sandwich??? If you ask for a Latte Macchiato, you will receive a glass of milk and a small cup of coffee, in other words, make your own coffee. Way too cold in there, air conditioning on, door open. Eventually something was done about it. For us, end of story at this restaurant.

When you order a satay and you receive 5 small cubes of raw meat swimming in a bowl of peanut water. With a thimbleful of acid and three cassava chips, 28 euros is really an exaggeration. The accompanying fries were those pre-pressed fake fries and very flexible. An additional amount of €5.50 was charged to the bill for this. In short, very poor price-quality ratio. Nice people, but I had already taken them with me. Unfortunately tried the third time. No more Spott for me.

Had a very nice drink here on Friday afternoon. Nice service and cozy atmosphere. This was reason for us to make a reservation for dinner for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed this evening, especially with the service. The girl who helped us immediately did not seem very friendly. We had to wait a while for our drinks but that can happen. We ordered a verdejo and 2 pinot grigio. The Verdejo was a Chardonnay. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she immediately responded no, that's not possible because I poured it myself. Point. It was 100% a chardonnay but fine. Exchanged glass with my daughter, so resolved the error myself. Then the ordered red wine with the main course did not arrive. Asked again from a waitress but he came. When the main course was finished, unfortunately we had no red wine. When clearing the table, I said that I was sorry that the wine had not arrived after asking twice. All the lady could say was: oh, but that wasn't ordered from me. No, but does it matter!! Furthermore, there was no question whether I still wanted the wine or could offer them a cup of coffee or something. If this were my business, I would send this lady to customer service training or home. The food was reasonable, but the price-quality ratio is a bit lacking. Asparagus was quite tasteless and the lamb was quite well done, even though I really indicated media rare. After our nice pleasant experience on Friday afternoon, last night was a really disappointing evening. Unfortunately the last time for us.

Always a party at Spott! Whether I come for coffee or tea, a drink, or dinner, the atmosphere is always good and the service friendly. In addition, the drinks dishes are excellent in terms of price/quality.

The seven of us enjoyed coffee and cake for my 60th birthday. Was a lot of fun, I got a fireworks fountain with my pastries and the staff even sang.

Had a great meal tonight with very nice and friendly service. There was very little cheese fondue, but that was resolved nicely! We often sat with empty glasses for a long time and had to ask for the dessert menu twice.

Had a fantastic Christmas lunch with family. Really great, nice appetizers, excellent main course, very personal service level host. Even a cheese plate in this very affordable 4-course Christmas lunch.

Zeer geslaagde avond gehad bij Spott met fantastisch eten, vriendelijk personeel en een gezellige ambiance. Absolute aanrader!

Alle gerechten zijn van topkwaliteit. We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. De gerechten worden mooi gepresenteerd. Dr bediening is zeer vriendelijk. Zekere een aanrader als je van lekker eten houd.

Hier wezen eten met een groepje van 8 mensen, eten was erg lekker, maar er zat erg veel tijd tussen de gerechten. Uiteindelijk ongeveer 3,5 uur in het restaurant geweest voor 3 gangen diner. Desondanks was de service erg goed en de atmosfeer in het restaurant ook. Het restaurant heeft een mooie uitstraling van buiten en is gezellig knus van binnen.

Zooo lekker gegeten... Gewoon top!

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekkerste pulled pork ooit! Alles zag er fantastisch uit. Koffie en thee leuk geserveerd. Hele vriendelijke bediening. Alles vlot. Prachtig pand. Mooi, warm en gezellig ingericht. Ruime keus. Wij komen zeker graag terug!

Met een groep bij Spott gegeten. Leuke tent, sfeervol en vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. We hebben de proeverij genoten met zijn zessen. Lekker diverse voorgerechten, daarna keuze uit vis (zalmmoot) of vlees (parelhoen) als hoofdgerecht en tenslotte weer diverse desserts (zie foto). Erg lekker. De parelhoen had een licht pikante marinade. Lekker!

Leuke plek op het terras op een nazomerse zondag. De keuken leek de drukte tijdens de lunch niet goed aan te kunnen; de wachttijd was vrij lang. De tonijn op brood was smakelijk, het naan met humus helaas niet. De humus smaakte werkelijk nergens naar.

Alleen snel een Aperol Spritz genuttigd Snelle goede aardige bediening. Terras mooi en sfeervol, fijne zitbank midden in Doorn

Leuk restaurant waar je binnen als in de serre of op het terras kunt zitten. Diverse keren hier gegeten. Ik neem eigenlijk altijd de tuna tataki hier. Je kunt hier zowel voor de lunch als diner terecht. Ze hebben een leuke gevarieerde kaart, echt een aanrader.

Voor een tweede keer hier gegeten. Alleen een hoofdgerecht. We hadden een burger en de steak tartaar. De tartaar had weinig tot geen smaak, frietjes te lang gebakken. Burgers was prima. Over het algemeen een teleurstellende ervaring. Zeker in verhouding met de vorige keer. Eerste keer: Leuk, sfeervol restaurant met strakke bediening en lekker eten. Even voor de duidelijkheid, het is geen sterren restaurant, maar qua kwaliteit wel hoger dan een standaard restaurant in Nederland (eten, presentatie en bediening) We hadden een proeverij en de carpaccio als voorgerecht. Lekker hapjes, prima vlees De dorade en picanha als hoofdgerecht. Wat mij betreft miste de picanha peper en zout. Staan natuurlijk wel op tafel en liever te weinig dan te veel. Proeverij als nagerecht, alleen de chocolademousse had in mijn ogen geen smaak. Zou er zeker nog eens eten.
