Very friendly staff and delicious food. We received complimentary bread and herb butter beforehand, and after paying, we also received a rose. Very thoughtful.

Sometimes you're lucky enough to find something that's just right. The atmosphere. The staff, who clearly enjoy their work. The food. We wanted to grab a quick pizza tonight, and we ended up having a wonderfully fun and delicious evening. Thanks.

Not planned... ordered a large dessert on the advice of the staff. The luxury of free parking at the cultural center. Good to know: San Marco has its own, free, parking facilities at the back of the restaurant. Recommended!

Today we spontaneously ate at Italian Restaurant San Marco in Doorn. Despite not having made a reservation, we were fortunately able to get a spot, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well prepared. An extra surprise was that we were given a rose upon departure, which we found very thoughtful. In addition, parking is free on the street with a parking disc (maximum 2 hours), which is very convenient. In short, a great experience and definitely recommended!

Sorry, cozy informal atmosphere. The owner and staff seem to know almost everyone. We had not made a reservation, but we were still able to get a spot for a quick bite. We were served quickly (but not too quickly). I can be short about the food: very good. Good portions, good quality and a good price.

San Marco is een gezellig ingericht restaurant. De bediening is vriendelijk. Menukeuze is uitgebreid. Wij hebben pizza gegeten. Pizza's hadden geen vis, maar waren vegetarisch of hawaiï. Voor mensen die weinig zout en specerijen gebruiken was het eten veel te zout, we hadden er de dag later nog last van.

Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant with lots of fun

Ate here for the 2nd time now. If you are looking for an old-fashioned Italian restaurant, stop at San Marco in Doorn. Last time I had the pasta AL FUNGHI with creamy cheese sauce and mushrooms (vegetarian), delicious and more than enough €13.25 This time the BISTECCA DI MANZO with grilled tenderloin, more than enough €26.75 My table lady takes the QUATTRO FORMAGGI Four different types of cheese € 14.50 old-fashioned traditional! The service is extremely friendly and the (guest) dog is allowed inside and given a bowl of water, which is nice (but we don't have a dog ourselves). The furnishings deserve a special mention, The interior is a mix of old-fashioned murals and decorations on the ceiling with (Christmas) lighting... we think it's funny. Parking (at the back) is also no problem. There is ample parking. If you enter the Pizzeria through the back, you enter through an improvised covered plastic area with heaters for the smokers among us. If this bothers you, walk around the building and reach the front door. In short; It is an experience to sit and eat here. Everything gets a good grade (7.8) because the price is also very reasonable!

De vorige keer de pasta AL FUNGHI genomen met romige kaassaus en champignons (vegetarisch) heerlijk en ruim voldoende €13,25 Dit keer de BISTECCA DI MANZO met gegrilde ossenhaas, ruim voldoende €26,75 Mijn tafeldame neemt de QUATTRO FORMAGGI Vier verschillende soorten kaas € 14,50 ouderwets traditioneel! De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en de (gast) hond mag mee naar binnen en krijgt een bak water, netjes (maar wij hebben zelf geen hond) De inrichting verdient een aparte vermelding, Het interieur is een mix van ouderwetse muurschilderingen en gefreubel aan het plafond met (kerst) verlichting .. wij vinden het grappig. Ook (achter) parkeren is geen probleem. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Als je via de achterkant de Pizzeria kom je binnen via een geïmproviseerde overdekte plastic ruimte met heaters voor de rokers onder ons. Mocht je daar last van hebben dan loop je even om het pand heen en pak je de voordeur. Kortom; Het is een belevenis om hier te zitten en te eten. Alles krijgt een ruime voldoende (7.8) omdat ook de prijs zeer schappelijk is!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Salat I had was a bit too basic (no oil, no dressing) ..a bit too much for 8€ and pizza I had was ok but felt like onion, and other veggie on the pizza was not baked enough. Peperoni pizza was great! The rest of my friends had some meat and lasagne..they enjoyed it! Overall great experience! On top of it, women got some nice roses and children lollipop..how sweet! I would definitely come back :)

The reviews were good. But what a disappointment. An Italian who doesn't have an aperol spritz (but apple juice, the staff said🤔) A pizza that had an undercooked base. A salad without dressing. There is also no olive oil or balsamic vinegar on the table. And then there is no latte machiato. Never this again

Delicious and real Italian - extensive menu - and don't go for the pizza (which is very tasty) but for the real Italian dishes - they make it very tasty - make a reservation, because it is sometimes busy - beautiful rose for had the woman on departure - really smooth service.

First time I was here but certainly won't be the last. I had the pizza marinara special. I have never experienced such a good seafood pizza like this! What an amount of delicacy there was on this pizza that had a delicious base and had no black edges whatsoever. These are experts!

Based on the good reviews, but a huge disappointment. Starts with the rolls and herb butter, which comes straight from the factory. As a main course, a combination of 3 pastas, which were ultimately crammed into 1 casserole, turning it into 1 large lasagna meat lump and you cannot see or taste any difference. Service from the gentleman (owner?) not hospitable, the ladies all are. My husband had fried potatoes with his dish, which was exactly 1 small piece of potato. Salad is also nothing. The seating area at the bar is quite cozy, despite the plastic plants, but the takeaway is also at the bar, so there will be a crowd at your table. In short, a waste of money. It is a mystery to me why it was full.

Absolutely great! The normal (commercial) prices are also OK, but the most important thing is that the food is really good regardless of what you order. Sometimes the service is not too fast, apart from the fact that - partly due to the lower prices - it was quite busy (2/3 full)

Wat een geweldig restaurant. Aan de buitenkant zou je misschien op het verkeerde been worden gezet. Binnen, gezellig en keurige tafels en stoelen. Een mooie kaart met veel keuzes. Vooraf een kreeftensoep. Goed gevuld. Vrienden kozen voor de tapasschotel. Heerlijk. Hoofdgerecht Kalfsvlees met grote garnalen met een heerlijke saus. Bediening goed alhoewel de eigenaar wel druk is aan tafel om contact te maken. En als ik toch wat aan te merken heb is dat als je zo’n goede zaak hebt met heerlijk eten in een geweldige ambiance dan serveer je kwalitatief roomijs met echte slagroom en niet prut. We komen graag nog eens terug of rijden er voor om.

Echt de aller aller smerigste pizzah van m'n leven gehad. Brem en brem zout dus niet op kunnen eten. De tranen liepen over gezicht. Lekkere Pizza,s , vriendelijke mensen en fijne sfeer. De glutenvrije optie is wel lekker , maar ook beetje klein.

Gezellige tent voor families maar ook met zn twee. Goede bediening prima gerechten

Het eten was zeer lekker, goede service en de aankleding sfeervol. Aan het eind kregen de vrouwen een roze roos.

Ook als ik probeer om geen vergelijking te maken met trattorie/pizzerie in Italië komt dit Nederlandse dorpsrestaurantje niet boven een klein zesje uit. De gemengde antipasti waren flauw van smaak, met ingrediënten van, naar mijn oordeel, matige kwaliteit, vooral veel ijsbergsla. Mijn pizza al gorgonzola smaakte naar knoflook en naar zout, niet naar gorgonzola.

Fijn restaurant met klantvriendelijke benadering en prijzen. Een echt Italiaans restaurant . Heerlijk gegeten. Ruimte wat oudbollig, maar de ruime keuze en kwaliteit van het eten, maken meer dan goed.

Let niet op de plastic planten, het systeemplafond en tapijt, maar geniet van het eten, prettige bediening en prima prijs!

Zeer smakelijke en goedbelegde pizza's voor een schappelijke prijs. Je hoeft niet lang te wachten. Als u binnen 10km van deze pizzeria bent, is een bezoekje het zeker waard! Sfeer is informeel en hartelijk. Bezoek van alle leeftijden en wordt meer dan alleen pizza geserveerd.

We zijn een weekendje weg en hebben pizza afgehaald. Wat een leuke tent!! Mazzel dat de eigenaar weer terug was van vakantie. Lekker eten & betaalbaar. En er dan zelfs nog een lekker biertje bij krijgen is echt super attent.

Kind and welcoming personnel. I had the gluten-free pasta bolognese, and for the first time in life a waiter has asked me to choose between 3 kinds of gluten-free pasta (I’ve never been happier) So I choose the tagliatelle one - very delicious. My brother had a pizza bolognese and said it was pretty good. The portions was big and you’ll be full, trust me. The only negative thing was the drinks, we had 2x 200 ml Coca Cola which were too expensive for that small of amount of coke Other than that if someone asked me if I would come back, than the answer is “yes, I’ll be back soon”
