For in a hospital outrageous prices. You will have someone long-term sick. Going to Ikea is recommended!

In general, a great place to have lunch when you are in the UMCG, the service is always friendly. The food tastes great, but the price is a bit on the high side for what you get.

Last Friday afternoon I had lunch here with my wife and youngest daughter. There were still crumbs on the table from the previous guests. Apparently the tables are not cleared properly. I had ordered an omelette. It was tasty but quite meager and expensive, namely €13.75. In contrast, the bread board was very extensive for €6.95.

The service is very friendly. The food is okay. No haute cuisine and a lot of it is not fresh but comes from a package. That aside, I find the prices really shocking. For example, you pay 15 euros for a chicken burger and for 2 coffees with a pastry each almost 18 euros. This is considerably higher than at a random place in the heart of Amsterdam. Maybe they pay a very high rent to the UMCG? Good to know that the large restaurant in the UMCG is a lot cheaper and delivers the same quality

A little break from the nursing ward for an evening. We had a delicious meal with our three daughters. The staff were extremely friendly and pleasant to chat with. Attentive and attentive. It brought a sparkle to a difficult time and made a welcome change. Thank you, and keep up your hospitality. It makes all the difference!

In our already difficult time here, sitting here was a bright spot of the day, especially when Jan was there, always time for a chat, a joke or a bit of understanding, the couch was our favorite place, a bit of a feeling of being at home, in short, we loved coming here. and now if we have to go for a check-up, we'll have a cup of coffee, thanks Jan!!! They better take the mustard soup off the menu. Diluted mustard water with extra salt, a real Groningen would be ashamed. And the prices are absurd. Unlimited food in a good sushi restaurant is cheaper than a very modest lunch here

Good food, friendly staff, I liked everything!

Cozy, delicious food and very good staff. We were received so warmly when we were having a difficult time. A small beautiful moment with a delicious (gluten-free!) sandwich. Thank you!

Delicious food. The service is always friendly and the food and drinks have always tasted good. I don't understand the negative reactions. I regularly come here alone or with my mother, and it has always been good. I personally think that prices for coffee, pastries and food are in line with the market.

Unfortunately, poke ball inedible. No sushi rice, the only thing you can taste is soya sauce..

Great for a quick bite if you happen to have to be here. Too bad the venue closes at 7:30 PM. Many visitors would also like to eat something later. The fries were a bit overdone. The croquettes were delicious. Good portions and reasonably priced.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Don't understand those negative reviews. Especially in a hospital you are happy that, despite the circumstances, you can still eat something delicious! Drink prices may be a bit higher, but I thought dinner was reasonably priced. Staff very friendly! I ate the fish and chips two days in a row because they were simply delicious. They also just got extra fries because they thought they "may have been a bit frugal". Which wasn't the case, but we still enjoyed it! It is a bit chilly there due to the renovation of the hospital, but that has been solved by nice blankets and pillows. More than satisfied and can definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had an appointment at the outpatient clinic at 1:30 PM and was at the UMCG at 1:00 PM. Just in time for something to eat, I thought A salmon sandwich and a cappuccino It took exactly fifteen minutes before I got the cappuccino. This one was lukewarm, not to mention just cold. The sandwich arrived 10 minutes later so I had exactly 5 minutes to eat it. After 3 bites I gave up. The salmon was mediocre and the bread was old and dry. Moreover, I then had to go to the outpatient clinic. Still hungry and 16 euros poorer. Next time to the other buffet in the UMCG, which looked much better.

Very nice employees who are at your table very quickly to take your order. Without looking at the menu, you quickly order a cup of coffee and a pastry... only to be shocked by the price. Excuse me, but charging these prices is a complete rip-off! Fortunately, we did not let ourselves be rushed and first looked at the map before unanimously deciding to leave. Just too rude for words.

Long wait to place the order, long wait for it to be delivered, not friendly and terribly expensive, 1 cup of coffee, healthy sandwich, cappuccino and healthy sandwich €30.00 I think this is a rip-off. And very cold there, not normal for such a price, you still want to be warm. We won't be there again.

Nou heerlijk gegeten, pokebowl. 1/3e van gehad, frietjes voor dochter en 2x drinken. Drinken heb ik verder niet aangeraakt. Even naar de wc, netjes gemeld, kom terug alles weg. Friet werd opnieuw gebracht, drinken niet en mijn eten ook niet. Mocht wel alles betalen, behalve een portie friet.... toen ik er wat van zei, na het betalen mocht ik nog een flesje drinken mee. Nou geen behoefte meer aan, alsof je er dan nog zin aan hebt. Vind het raar dat je mensen laat betalen als je hun eten weghaald. Die friet, oke, die kwam nog n x. Maar de rest? Ze hebben wel excuus gemaakt hoor en dochter mocht n kadotje uitzoeken, maar ja dat kon ook wel uit 😁 jammer, als je toch al geen leuke dag hebt (je bent nooit voor niks in t umcg) en dit drukt er nog een extra stempel op. Ik mag hopen dat dit n incident was.

Gisteravond een heerlijk naanbrood met zoete aardappel falafel gegeten. Met name de falafel was fantastisch krokant van buiten heerlijk lich, smaakvol en aangenaam van binnen.
