The food here is delicious, with plenty of choices. If you order a nice piece of meat, it's even brought to your table, so be sure to know your table number. One comment: the owner is quite oblivious, especially when it comes to tapping beer, which is set to exactly one glass. I tried a few beers, but the pouring wasn't great. The owner immediately looks at you, huffing and puffing because the beer spills. His comment to me was, "You should look at the picture to see how to pour." I heard him say, "Ugh, another one making a mess of things." I then thought to myself, "Get someone to do the tapping for you, so they don't have to be breathing down my neck to make sure it's pouring properly." Every time, he remarked that the pouring wasn't going well.

We had a wonderful and cozy dinner tonight, the host was lovely, the food was truly delicious, they even asked for your preferences, and the sushi was delicious and flavorful. Everything was fresh and well-replenished.

We regularly get our food from Grand Oriental, and it's always delicious! The quality is always top-notch. We also eat at other Chinese restaurants, but Grand Oriental is head and shoulders above the rest for us. Always fresh, well-seasoned, and prepared with care. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good service, fresh products. Unfortunately, the flavors weren't great; the wok sauces were very disappointing, the teppanyaki was also very bland, and the sushi was very limited and poorly seasoned. Desserts were fine. A shame for our first and last visit.

Great restaurant for a delicious meal. Food and drinks are a fixed price for two hours. Teppanyaki and wood-fired oven are brought to your table after ordering. The food is excellent. The staff and owners are very friendly. The wok is excellent; spicy is truly spicy here 🌶. The restaurant, furniture, and restrooms are neat and clean. All in all, highly recommended.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant where drinks are included in the price. The food is good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A good point is that the wok and teriyaki (grilled) dishes are served at your table, so you don't have to wait. The sushi is freshly made and tastes great. My tip: the chicken satay is delicious! Reservations are recommended.

The food is more than excellent. If you don't want to be rushed, you should eat early. They're already eager to leave an hour before closing time and prefer to clean up after themselves. You're constantly being watched. If you don't pour your beer the way they do, they'll take your glass out of your hands. This doesn't contribute to the atmosphere. The price is reasonable. But there are plenty of better wok restaurants in the area.

We've been coming here for years to get takeout or enjoy a nice meal in. We picked it up today. We got home and the food was lukewarm; we live two streets away. It happens sometimes. I heated it up in the microwave because we had visitors. After dinner, I called to complain that the food was lukewarm. After fifteen minutes of back and forth on the phone, they came up with the solution...just bring it back. Once we got back to the store and explained the problem again, they said that's impossible; it'll stay warm all the way to Nijmegen. What a bunch of staff, completely unfocused on customers! Seven people were standing there. Finally, they threw their money on the counter and told us they were no longer welcome. Well...you won't see us there again. The staff is king there, not the customer.

A small, cozy restaurant where the food is excellent, and they bring the dishes they prepare to your table! A truly fantastic restaurant that we will definitely return to.

Another disappointment. The fuet happens to be wrapped with the baguette... which is a good thing, because it's from June 25th. Red meat is gray and waiting for you. The nigri, which I love so much, was barely replenished. I only managed to get three pieces. The price-quality ratio is off. My teenager got sick this time, spending half the night upstairs and on the toilet because something he ate didn't go down well.

Have been here before, take away, food is not bad, only what I always get upset about, see previous posts at other restaurants, is that if it says spicy, it is absolutely not spicy, zero. With the dish beef in spicy sauce I asked for extra spicy, so again not. Shrimp in sambal sauce were a bit spicy. I had ordered extra sauce with the babi panggang, with the foe yong hai too, to my great surprise they said that it was the same sauce as with the babi panggang. (!) Ordered babi panggang without atjar, it was just underneath. I don't like it. Ordered for more than €100, could not get any kroepoek. Next time I will go to the Iris in Losser.

We had an Indonesian rice table for 2 people to take away and what a delicious meal we had. Ate with 3 people and the next day again with the two of us, it was very much very tasty and very good and value for money.

This restaurant is all about 'small but nice'. For a world restaurant it is small, so not massive. The service is very friendly and attentive. But what do you mainly go to a restaurant for? The food. And that is very good! With a wide choice, for every taste. The sushi is as sushi should be, with delicious rice. And not just the basic types of sushi, but also variants that we don't often see in this kind of places. The cold and warm haojes are delicious. And also: cold what should be cold and warm what should be warm. We see that differently sometimes. The dishes from the teppanyaki are brought to the table very friendly. So we didn't have to wait at the plate until it was ready. Another plus: there are separate plates for meat and fish. With some effort we still had room for a dessert. That was fairly standard, but no less tasty. And well cooled. We were also very happy with the tasty (real) whipped cream and the delicious macarons. We could not find any negative points. It will be clear that, as far as we are concerned, this is highly recommended.

Tried it once here, normally we always go to Asia in Grootdriene, compared to Asia the nasi doesn't taste that good, the rice is whole and not broken....the taste of boiled bones is not in it and there are not that many vegetables in it....I found the nasi very disappointing, too bad that this craft is disappearing a bit in the Netherlands, because Jasmine Garden in Borne there the nasi also tastes very bad, Asia in Groot Driene is really the best if you want nasi and bami that has an authentic taste of CHINA!! On the other hand we found the pork belly good at Grand Oriëntal....They put onions and cucumber in the container here that is very tasty and a fresh taste! For me Nasi and bami are very important because that is the meat and potatoes of the Chinese kitchen if you don't master this, you have failed...... So guys boil the bones and use broken rice and peanut oil!!!!!!!

All you can eat open buffet and drinks are bottled and you can get whenever you want. The food is definitely not the best however decent, definitely go again

I had to wait a very long time for meat from the griddle that was brought to me. The first time, 30 minutes after I walked there, my food was already gone... Drink up to three times over lukewarm... A lot of food just isn't hot... Worst wok ever!!! When we entered it was our turn... another woman arrived, we were pushed aside and had to wait until they had helped that woman.... scandalously bad

Food mediocre. Can still learn a lot from other wok restaurants. Example. Cooking food without protection Rice nasi noodles and noodles. In our opinion, in terms of taste, they had been in the warming pan all day. Tasted like wet snot. Music inside is like being at a funeral. And we both had stomach aches afterwards. And we tasted everything, but regularly left some behind

Very friendly and motivated staff. Parking lot not that big. Enough seating inside. Also possibility for separate take-away of dishes. The buffet was not that big as what we are normally used to; but we do feel that everything was fresh. Nothing that was frozen in the containers and was defrosted. Flavors were good and not provided with too much soy sauce. The possibility for service at the fray. For larger groups we noticed that drinks are also neatly delivered to the table. The price is lower than with an average all-inclusive formula. For us worth repeating

Ordered today from this restaurant. When we picked up we had to pay for food that we did not order. They did not want to offer a solution on the spot. Only afterwards did they come up with a strange 'solution'. We had to bring the food back. Their mistake became our problem. They even came up with a story of their own making that I had not informed my husband of the correct order and that it had therefore been our fault. Very special.

Op vrijdagavond (19.30u) en een beetje uitgestorven. Wij kregen echt het gevoel dat als wij ook maar iets teveel namen de vinger naar ons gewezen kregen. Er was trouwens genoeg bediening die zelf ook rijkelijk aan het eten waren. De opstelling van eten nodigde niet uit, warmhoudplaten die voor 1/5 gevuld waren. Eerste drankje werd ingeschonken daarna zelfbediening, waarop ook commentaar kwam. Niet teveel want dat is zonde......3 drankjes p.p. gehad. Eten was ook niets bijzonders en de sfeer was ver te zoeken.

Laat ik positief beginnen. Bediening zeer vriendelijk. Tomatensoep was top. En dan verder: sushi was lauw, vleesgerechten waren koud. En het meeste was smakeloos. Gefrituurde garnalen was vol met olie. Dus de volgende keer rijden wij voorbij.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar, vlees wordt bereid en naar de uw tafel gebracht. Indien u aardappels en groente erbij wilt, moet u met uw bord terug lopen en hopen, dat er niet teveel mensen bij het buffet staan anders wordt uw vlees koud. Het deeg van de grote garnalen is volgelopen met olie. De spareribs en de chickenwings waren koud. Reactie van eigenaar was, dat we het vlees onderuit de bak moesten halen. Het softijs was echt lekker, het schepijs was echt niet te pruimen.

Super tasty meals. There is no limit on food and alcoholic beverages (wine and beer). Stronger alcohols are charged additionally. Variety of dishes seafood, Indian Chinese cuisine, llama dishes. Kangaroo etc. Not excessive prices. I sincerely recommend it

We just went out for dinner with a group of friends. It's quite a small kitchen. There was very little choice in terms of meat. It was more Chinese and the food was good. When pouring beer, they really watched you or spoke to you if you were not doing well. This is the first and last time and we think this is a shame. We are used to many wok restaurants, but this is not worth the money for 38 euros.

The food was extremely tasty, lots of choice and fresh products.... Only special that after 2 hours it is indicated that the time is over, while the website states that you can eat and drink for 2 hours for a fixed amount and every half hour longer costs 2 euros extra per person..... we were seated It was nice, so we had something to drink.... after 2.5 hours we left and when paying, the story told earlier about the 2 hours and that they actually prefer you not to stay longer than 2 hours sit there because it will no longer be possible given the costs..... so don't put it on the website.....

Lovely people in the service. The staff are friendly and approachable. Nothing seems too much for them and they work hard. Good food, there is everything! Some dishes you can grab, some dishes are freshly made for you and delivered to your table! It is also very child-friendly. There are plenty of dishes for children and a special playroom for children. This way the children can play and the adults can eat delicious food. We enjoyed!

The outside is not inviting, once inside the appearance is modern and luxurious. But €36 p.p. is not worth the money. The fish did not taste fresh and was not glassy. To start with, we entered an empty and quiet restaurant with no music and felt very stared at by the staff Staff was almost inaudible The food was very mediocre, almost everything was cold/lukewarm and there was little choice. It tasted like it had been there since yesterday. Once we left we both suffered from severe stomach cramps and nausea. Only the desert and the mini frikandels were tasty. Once, never again.
