If you don't know where to go for a nice meal, this is always a great place to go. It has never disappointed.

Had a delicious meal, a plate full of nachos. Actually too much for me, but very tasty. Pleasant and efficient service, will definitely come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Triple B! There were four of us, and from the very first moment, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was truly fantastic. The spareribs were without a doubt the best I have ever eaten: perfectly tender, flavorfully marinated, and deliciously prepared. The half-liter glasses of beer were also a hit; served nice and cold and a perfect complement to the food. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Triple B to anyone who loves good food, tasty spareribs, and a cozy atmosphere! Thanks for the amazing experience! 🍖🍺👏

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, burgers are 10 euros, and for that price you really get a damn good fresh hamburger, plus fries with mayo. Highly recommended!

It's a far cry from what it used to be. A long wait, even for a basket of bread. We even felt like they'd forgotten us. The food of guests who came after us was served first. The staff doesn't exude any kind of humor.

I've eaten here several times and had good experiences with gluten-free food. This time, however, I was disappointed. The nachos were delicious. Then I had the classic burger. While I'd gotten a good, tasty hamburger the previous times, this time it was a burger straight out of a supermarket freezer. It probably has something to do with the gluten-free food, but I think there are also good gluten-free hamburgers available. The gluten-free hamburger bun is very tasty, though. My companion was very impressed with the pasta. Very tasty. After the main course, we weren't asked if we wanted anything afterward. While we were comfortable, we ended up asking for the dessert menu and ordering something afterward. The service is super friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive last night. I submitted my complaint when I paid; I saw her pass it on to the kitchen staff, but I don't think anything was done about it. Edit: I sent an email based on the owner's comment below, but unfortunately, I haven't received a reply.

This chef manages to mess up a ribeye. Well, that's quite an achievement. I've been eating ribeye for years, but this was truly awful. I think he cooked it in oil instead of butter. Such a waste of such a good piece of meat. How do you do that? One star goes to the friendly waitresses.

4* The food wasn't bad, not fantastic either, but just good. Tables in the back were cozy. Staff very friendly!

I'm not from the area. I thought I had a reservation at a more upscale snack bar. I completely misjudged that. What excellent service and taste! A very extensive menu. They deserve a solid 10. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Went again yesterday (December 19th). It was fantastic, as always! Delicious schnitzel and burger, just like always! It was packed, but the kitchen handled it well; it might have taken a little longer than usual. The service wasn't all that experienced, but it was very friendly!

Delicious burgers, cozy location

Ordered a schnitzel. It wasn't worthy of being called a schnitzel. It looked like chunks of meat stuck together. You didn't need a knife to cut it off.

The food is far from special and the portions are small. You get a few fries with your dish, and the 'salad' served with the dishes can barely serve as a garnish. A waste of my money.

The food was really meager. One small basket of fries for two people, and our son got a similar basket on his own plate. Our glasses were still full, and the waiter came to ask if we'd like anything else to drink. If you do eat here, be sure to wear a thick sweater because it's quite chilly inside.

I was sadly served alcohol by accident while I asked for non-alcoholic (due to medical issues), but this was quickly resolved. The music is unfortunately terrible, the staff is friendly and motivated, and the food is tasty, but unfortunately there is some confusion with the orders.

I spontaneously went to Hengelo that day. I got hungry and thought a burger would be nice. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was very friendly. Communication was no problem. The food was first-class in my opinion; I had a burger and a large glass of pilsner. If I'm ever in Hengelo again, I'll definitely visit this restaurant again.

Tap water cost 50 cents a glass. The chicken burger was flat and dry, (and green?) We had expected more.

I had a really great meal here. The mustard soup was fantastic, I can really recommend that when it's on the menu. The Schnitzel was also excellent, really well presented and very tasty. The menu has some really interesting burgers (which I didn't try this time) but I can't wait to come back here for more.

What a fun, trendy place. Delicious food. Great service, easy accessibility, and a great location right in the center of Hengelo. Definitely worth a return visit.

Nice restaurant with good food and friendly service

I really tried to eat it, but I couldn't... Triple B doesn't have real burgers anymore; it's just pre-prepared gray meat. The dry fries aren't what they used to be either. Such a shame.

I've eaten at Tropple B in Hengelo several times, precisely because they always had the best fresh hamburger meat. Until today... Unfortunately, I received a ready-made "cutlet" that looked gray and ground up 🤢. The taste was completely different from what I'm used to from this restaurant. A real shame and a huge disappointment.

A very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The price/performance ratio is okay. The young service team made every effort to do everything correctly. The food was very good. However, everyone has different tastes. There were eleven of us in total, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely go back for dinner.

Triple B i guess stands for triple BAD. Burgers were just horrible, looked like they just fried a frozen processed patty, instead of grilling an actual beef burger. Soggy schnitzel had one undercooked piece of potato on the plate and some leftover vegetables accompanied by fries on the side. Definitely not recommended!

Warning!!! Anything but a beef burger!!! For a croquette, you're better off going to a cafeteria. The hamburger was a very expensive croquette sandwich.

It's such a shame I have to write this review. I've honestly never had such a bad experience. First, I had to wait half an hour for a drink. Then my son and partner had their food before me, so they finished it before I could eat. The food was incredibly dry and really not tasty. A waste of my money and the birthday present. Such a shame. I sincerely hope you'll do something about this! Because it looks great. The atmosphere is good.

Lovely place to dine and friendly staff

Just spontaneously ate here with my son. We were in Hengelo and both felt like a real hamburger. We had walked past here before, but never eaten anything. Definitely recommended and worth repeating.

Cocktails were very nicely decorated and tasted great. The garlic mushrooms were also fine. Only the hamburger was just from the freezer, what a disappointment. This is just not possible as a restaurant.

The food was very disappointing, everywhere good reviews about the burger, but not for us. A flattened over processed and without taste. The rest of the ingredients were fine. Unfortunately 1.5 hours later ended up on the couch at home with a bad stomach ache and restless intestines. Edit 18/5: after this review I was asked to contact them. I have done that twice now, but still no response. It seems nice to respond to a review, but in practice they do nothing with it 👎

Tasty burgers, so many people - so many varieties. Almost then. At Triple B, real attention is paid to the dish they make. Cosy, fairly open plan. Staff are working effectively, persevere and listen. I'm going to try more varieties of their burgers!

Vandaag hebben we hier geluncht. De drankjes kwamen in etappes. Eerst de frisdranken, aantal minuten later de latte macchiato en de décafé cappuccino kwam weer later, omdat er een décafé koffie was gemaakt. Er was een hapje uit het glas bij de sinas, werd gewoon uitgeserveerd. We kregen wel netjes, nadat ik om een ander glas gevraagd had een nieuwe sinas en uiteraard ook een ander glas. We hadden een appelgebak besteld, een junior burger en een tosti. De appeltaart kwam nadat de lunch was gebracht. De burger was echt niet lekker. Het was een diepvriesding, zo’n platte frikandel. Dit hadden we totaal niet verwacht, omdat er op de website staat dat men heerlijke hamburgers heeft. We hebben één hap op. Lijkt me niet restaurantwaardig of ben ik nu zo veeleisend?! De bediening vind ik ook niet goed. Er leek voldoende personeel te lopen, maar buiten zag je ze amper. Ze leken me niet allemaal erg geschikt voor de horeca…Bovendien ben ik denk ik van de oude stempel en vind o.a. dat je als personeel geen hoi en doei kan zeggen tegen veel oudere mensen en dan heb ik het niet tegen ons , maar tegen 2 dames van in de 70. Of is dat de nieuwe standaard? Over de tafels had een doekje gemogen. Terras had aangeveegd mogen worden. Niemand zou ik dit aanbevelen. Zonde van je geld!

Meat ordered dry and small portion. Tastes like nothing. Very little for the price!! Service dropped the fries. Little selection of special beer for a restaurant with beer in the name. The burgers are tasty, by the way.

Definitely would eat again! I ordered the Ribs & Wings with BBQ sauce(extremely tasty) for round about 24€ and it was more than enough but more importantly the taste was astounding. My partner ordered a Burger that both of us didnt like. Weird for a "Burger Restaurant" to serve a mid looking and mid tasting burger. The fries are tasty and my salad was a nice side. We enjoyed our stay and the service was perfect. We even held a small conversation about the consistency of the patties and the tasteless burger buns.

Had a Mojito Mocktail, it was more like orange juice with a mint leaf. Too bad about the money...

Unfortunately, the acoustics are poor inside, it is very loud and difficult to hear each other at the table. If you are with someone who has worse hearing, I do not recommend sitting indoors. We ate here with a group and could use a three-course menu. The choice and execution of the dishes was unfortunately disappointing. Chicken nachos without chicken and beef teriyaki quite dry. Dessert somewhat unimaginative but tasted fine.

Friendly help, sometimes it took a while but okay, it was also busy. Food was great, I had the ribs & wings. Excellent price quality ratio. Outside it was empty compared to other restaurants that were open at the time. Could be due to the location or the weather, small point for improvement. Otherwise recommended.

We had our wedding dinner at Triple B on 25-02. First contact was very easy, having a nice cup of coffee to discuss our first wishes, this allowed us to think about everything calmly. A month before our day, we again discussed the details over a cup of coffee. Nothing was too crazy, the nice thing was that Tamara really thought along about what was possible. As a starter we had 4 different dishes, Nachos, mushrooms in beer batter, buffalo wings and sandwiches with spread. We can especially recommend the nachos, they are so delicious! As a main course, different burgers divided into 4 pieces, like I said, nothing was too crazy. We had a delicious sharing dinner. We were allowed to order more if necessary, so we had a wonderful evening. We can definitely recommend Triple B for a delicious meal here

Burger was disgusting. Fries undercooked. Got the order wrong. And they were playing xmas music in March. Lesson learned, will never go to any Triple-B again.

In een burger restaurant moet je misschien ook geen mixed grill moeten nemen maar zo droog gebakken vleesspiezen nog nooit gehad. Normaal zou ik dit soort dingen niet doen als de kok probeert dat om te draaien en te herstellen echter dan de volledige rekeningen krijgen as de druppel. Jammer leuke tent.

Kerst diner gedaan eten was goed beetje weinig kerst entourage en was weinig gedecoreerd met kerst dus al met al weinig kerstsfeer. Bediening was weer zeer vriendelijk en top

What a great place and discovered so late .. But we will make it in .. we have eaten several times now and whether we are with our family or with 2 or my wife with her friends it Always good! Taking all the time for you, you will not be looked away and the chef does his best every time to put the best on the table... Very tasty food! We had the meatlover burger and a mixed grill. The pulled chicken nachos are also delicious and well filled. I have rarely experienced a mixed grill prepared so well. Attention had been paid to every piece of meat. Ode to the chef. We will definitely come back again. Price-quality ratio is good!

Good food, an interesting selection of beers, and friendly service, but considering that apart from us there were only three other tables occupied - everything took a little too long. But we will definitely come here again!

Very good service. Atmosphere a little less, but that was because we didn't know there was a fair. So the noise was less.

We came with a group of 13 ladies. The food took a long time and the order was wrong. For example, two chicken satays came with mushroom sauce instead of satay sauce. Also, 3 burgers were missing while the rest were already eating. If we hadn't asked where it was we probably wouldn't have gotten it, because when we asked it still had to be fixed. The food tasted good and the menu is good. The service, on the other hand, could be better. This is how trays are placed on the table, not according to etiquette and actually not allowed. The spoon for the dessert was also missing, the people with a cake only had a fork, which was difficult with the scoops of ice cream that came with it. Small things that go wrong, but reduce the overall quality. The waiter said that they had to take the card with them to prove to the kitchen that they were right. It's unfortunate for the service that complaints are handled this way. After all, they have to do the talking at the table, and they did this very well and neatly. Our complaints were resolved with a free round of drinks. We would actually like to give 5 stars for the service and 0 for the kitchen. That's why we give it 2.

Very tasty food, the cocktails look a bit sad but the meat falls off the bone. Not too expensive.

On a short trip to Hengelo we stopped at the Triple-B hungry in the evening. We ordered a beer and an Alster/Radler. The Tadler was only half full and already stale. The burgers we ordered were below average for a designated burger joint. The patties were more like minced meat and only lukewarm. Salad etc. were fine. The fries were partly cold and limp. The buns very dry. The service on site was sufficiently strong, but unfortunately it was still overwhelmed. For burgers, even if it's my first and only experience with the shop, I wouldn't recommend it.

The ribs had literally no flavor in the meat, they aren't seasoned or marinated and they don't slow cook them so all the fat is still in the meat and unrendered. It tasted like a pork roast that was boiled in nothing but water. The spicy sauce is just BBQ with cayenne added, it was very lame.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen na reservering. We kozen om buiten te zitten. Tijdens het eerste drankje kwam een vriendelijke medewerker vragen of we buiten of binnen wilden eten want er zou veel regen komen! We kozen voor binnen en dat was maar goed ook! Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening prettig, attent soms iets te snel. Heb soms t idee dat t n snelbuffets is. Wij kwamen echt om te dineren. Misschien n idee om te vragen wat mensen willen? Snel of relaxed? Maar… je wilt hier gewoon lekker eten. En dat is t!

Potdonkie! Never been to Hengelo before and this was our first tent! Prices were very reasonable and the food met expectations. Nothing special or groundbreaking, but very salty and tasty! The bouncer is the way to go if you are looking for price/quality and hunger quenching. One word: delicious! For the sandwich; good bread but somewhat rubbery cheese, good sauce. 4/5 stars for the croquettes. The croquette was very tasty but the sauce was just too mild. Furthermore, the service is friendly and it is a good stay for the price! Recommended!

Made a reservation, called to say it would be an hour later. This was no problem. Drive there, almost there, call to say we'll be there in 10 minutes. Being told that they are going to close (earlier) because there are no guests and because the Netherlands has to play football. Ridiculous. We had a special occasion for which we went out for dinner. You can't do this to your customers!

The burger is not worth the price. The patty is extremely low quality, pretty much a cheap burger patty you can find at any restaurant or tan isn’t specialized in burgers like this one claims to be. The rest of the burger is good, bread is not the best, toasted too much and even toasted on the outside making the burger hard to eat. Also, not really burger bread and more like a round sandwich bread with panini influence. Weird experience, very messy to eat, I had to use cutlery. The other ingredients taste nice, the sauce is good and the burger was hot and fresh. Main and biggest issue is the patty, didnt expect a frozen patty at a burger place. To describe the flavor you could compare it to low quality beef with a strange selection of seasonings. It almost tasted like a breakfast sausage, same consistency and similar looks. Not good. The fries are good, solid fries. But overall, too expensive for what you’ll get…. Great service although all servers refused to talk english to me.

Had a delicious meal here again with my daughter. The famous and the double big famous burger are definitely recommended. And if the double big is a bit too big, you can take it home. Service was also perfect again. Still the tastiest burgers in the Netherlands. Only The Baltimore Alehouse on Pratt Street in Baltimore has better.
