Green Leaf Restaurant Apeldoorn in Centrum

We've eaten at Green Leaf four times. Friendly staff and delicious sushi. They even have their own parking space for guests. This weekend, the owner had a bad day: there were a lot of guests absent and the restaurant was packed. As a result, the food took a very long time to arrive, and many dishes weren't even served. Without asking, the owner compensated us. Absolutely top-notch. We'll be back for another meal soon.

We ate here for the first time last night. We received a warm welcome and a good explanation. The food was high quality and delicious. However, we had to wait a very long time for the dishes we ordered, so we didn't get all the dishes we ordered. We won't be back anytime soon.

We've been sitting there for almost an hour and a half, and the first order hasn't even been fully served yet. The food is delicious, but if you can't handle the staff, halve the number of reservations!!! Then everyone gets served on time.

The food was fine...a bit limited sushi selection...the flavors were okay. It's a bare and somewhat uninviting restaurant, though. A bit more ambiance at the table would be nice, like a candle or a vase with a fresh flower in it.

You didn't get many options, and you always got a carrot 🥕 on your plate. It wasn't very tasty. They also had poor radio service, which was good, but we wouldn't recommend the food! Not worth the money!!!!

I ate at this restaurant in mid-July, and the food was very good. Most all-you-can-eat restaurants offer roughly the same menu. At this restaurant, we were able to try sushi we hadn't seen before. The service was friendly, and the food was delivered quickly. Point for improvement: The tables for two are very close together. Luckily, no one was sitting next to us.

We dined again with a small group of people at our invitation. We requested a quiet table due to hearing problems, and they were very accommodating. Once again, the food was delicious. Everything was super fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. This certainly won't be our last time.

Spacious, large, yet very atmospheric. The waitresses are clear and polite. Everything is done via tablet, so no pushy waitresses regarding drinks. You can order two dishes per person every 10 minutes. This is guaranteed by a timer on the tablet. But that's more than fast enough. Each genre has its own tab. There are poultry, beef, pork, sushi, soup, drinks, vegetarian, salads, desserts, and I'm probably forgetting one more. Plenty of choice. Do pay attention to how much you get. Some portions are (slightly) too large, causing you to fill up too quickly without being able to taste all your choices. Tip for the restaurant: perhaps an option to order smaller portions? Or a choice for the customer of 1, 2, or 4 pieces. Not cheap, but in line with the market. Desserts are an additional charge, and drinks are charged individually. The quality is very good. The selection is much better and more extensive than other comparable restaurants. It was my first visit, but definitely not the last. Thank you for the delicious food and a pleasant evening

It was super tasty, it was worth the long time in the car and you sometimes see that you have to wait a long time for your food but that was certainly not the case, it was very fast

Had a wonderful meal with my family tonight! We sat in the back of the restaurant, which was perfect for us with a 4-year-old. We were close to the toys.

Best sushi/fusion restaurant in Apeldoorn!

Excellent, delicious food! Lots of choices and comfortable seating, etc. The reason I didn't give the food 5 stars is because I had some rather unusual sushi at another sushi restaurant. Other than that, I can't think of any negatives.

Unfortunately, we were forced to give it one star, as the current 4+ star rating is misleading given the low quality of the sushi and other dishes. To our disappointment, we decided to deviate from our regular sushi restaurant; we thought something different would be nice. The prawn crackers and peanut sauce as a starter were okay; I'd have had more flavorful artisanal prawn crackers. This would have set Greenleaf apart from a standard Chinese restaurant. To be honest, the highlight was the fried shrimp and the tarragon roll. These, to be honest, tasted average compared to sushi delivered. Of course, you can't go wrong with the fried shrimp; it's ready-made straight from the freezer, as every restaurant serves these days. Generally, everything was salty, but the carpaccio and other meat dishes were difficult to distinguish due to the generous amount of black pepper sprinkled on them. They should have called the restaurant "BLACK PEPPER." The salmon ceviche was okay, nice and soft with a fresh sauce, but it was a shame the salmon flavor was lost. We prefer good sashimi. Believe me, any fresh salmon you buy yourself, cut into sashimi, and dip in a drop of soy sauce can easily surpass it. The salmon tartare, served on a kind of crispy bed, was also exceptionally tasteless. Of course, I'm comparing this to a well-known sushi delivery chain, which is exceptionally flavorful. Without this comparison, I probably would have found it "average" in flavor. The menu is very extensive; I think it would be better to thin it out a bit and focus on high quality. Meat dishes were either dry and overcooked or very raw on the inside. The amount of sauce clearly had a purpose: to hide the dry meat. Mission failed. The waitresses are very friendly; we always saw a smile on their faces. The welcome and table assignments were sloppy. We had a reservation, but the table was taken care of by a staff member. There was some confusion. We were eventually assigned a table, but it was a strange situation, and stressful for the staff. Unnecessary for us as customers. Therefore, only 2 stars. The atmosphere also left something to be desired, perhaps due to our taste. But it mainly resembles a more upscale (at least, we tried to) Chinese restaurant. Perhaps the average Dutch person will be perfectly satisfied with the nasi, bami, and fried meat dishes, especially if they're not into sushi. In short, if you're a true sushi lover, do NOT go here; save yourself the disappointment. The sushi is far from exceptional. SP, as a home-delivered sushi restaurant, far surpasses it in quality! Next time, we'll especially enjoy the softest, freshest, perfectly seasoned sushi rolls at our favorite sushi place, SS. While it unjustly rates lower than "Greenleaf," it does have over 2,000 reviews. Unjustified, in our opinion. We've learned our lesson and won't be going back just to try "something different." What a disappointment.

I have been there a few times, once I was a bit disappointed in terms of service because we had to wait quite a long time for our orders, which were not delivered together either, which meant we often had to eat separately, but fortunately that is normally fine. Too bad that drinks have to be paid for separately, which can make the price quite high.

Heel goed systeem om je buikje te verwennen. Heerlijk diner, vriendelijk personeel, je kan eten zolang je wil door telkenmale 2 schoteltjes te bestellen per keer. Mooie zaak, als we nog eens in Apeldoorn langs komen gaan we er zeker terug.

5 juni gegeten bij de Green Leave in Apeldoorn. De sushi is heerlijk, de Thaise rode curry is een echte aanrader. Het eten is heerlijk alleen de bediening is wel vriendelijk maar erg traag. Als wij op de tablet de 2de ronde hadden besteld moest de eerste ro de nog komen. Dit is echt een punt van aandacht, het mag allemaal sneller.

Unpleasant atmosphere and mediocre food. They bake in batches, which means that some dishes take a long time or suddenly 1 type of dish, e.g. steak cubes, is served en masse. Too bad! I strongly feel that the company uses "fake" reviews

Large restaurant and of course not busy on Mondays. However, the interior is such that you certainly do not have the impression that you are eating in a gym. It also looked quite empty and cozy. The choice was huge. There were a lot of tasty things for everyone. The portions were good. Only 1 soup was in a huge bowl. The service was fine and we had a nice and cozy meal.

All you can eat with dishes that you don't have at other "sushi & grill" restaurants. Very considerate if you have an allergy. They had a list ready with dishes that you should not eat. Drinks are relatively expensive. The real letdown was the "wasabi". Mainly horseradish. But that's the case everywhere. But this one was also not tasty and not spicy enough.

The food is fine but the kitchen can't handle the amount of guests. we were there at half past five and it was pleasantly busy and the orders came in on time until the place filled up then we had to wait for fifteen minutes and the food came in at strange times we thought after fifteen minutes we were going to pay and then they came with the food again and the neighbors next to us had also been waiting for a long time. That's how you go under because of your own success if you don't have the kitchen in order more cooks might be the solution.

Delicious food, extremely good quality of products, we really enjoyed it again! Recommendations are the Wan Tan Soup, Beef Noodle Soup, pork belly, the scallops and the shrimps with caramelized tomato.

It was tasty, some things were a little less so. Our tablet didn't work properly so we waited 45 minutes for food. It would also be nice if there was a vegetarian soup.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food, but the service was very fanatical about clearing the table. Too much in my opinion, which meant that someone came to the table very often. We found this quite disturbing. My plate was taken away from me while I had just put the last bite in my mouth. The prawn crackers were simply taken away even though they were not finished yet. We were not asked if it was allowed. If this is better paid attention to or managed, it could be a 5 star experience. Unfortunately, due to over-zealous clearing, the service now only gets 3 stars from us. Too bad, it wasn't necessary.

The food was very tasty, flavorful. The service from the English speaking ladies was unprofessional; difficult to understand, gruff appearance and the signs were just placed somewhere. The service from the English-speaking ladies was excellent and friendly.

Food was good, not exceptional. Service was downright terrible. I had to wait over 45 minutes for my first bite. After I told them that I was feeling sick and really needed to eat something, they woke up. Otherwise I would still be waiting. Orders got mixed up and some didn't get through. An apology and consumption of the matter was not possible. I won't be coming back here again. There are plenty of tapas restaurants. The atmosphere was great, we had a very nice group again

Yesterday, April 20, 2025, I ate here for the first time with my sister, brother-in-law, two grandsons and mother. So my mother and I had never been, the rest had been a few times. Been to many such restaurants but this one was the best. Beautiful atmospheric restaurant with truly excellent food. Everything tastefully and neatly prepared! Young but friendly employees. And Chapeau to the kitchen brigade!!! Had a very nice evening!!

Delicious food and slightly different sushi than the usual. 2 snacks per round may be a bit on the low side. 3 or even 4 would be better.

Everything tastes the same, there is no shortage of garlic... maybe so you don't taste that it was made and prepared (the day before) yesterday. Service was friendly and helpful

Have eaten here a few times now. The dishes are very tasty and there is something for everyone. We really like that you are not limited by time. The dishes you order are small portions, so if there is something you don't like, you don't have to leave much behind. There is also a wide choice for people with allergies. I personally think it is a better system that you always order your dishes at the table, because then at least everyone is not always away from the table. The little ones have also been taken into account, there is a nice play corner. The only downside we think is that it is noisy, so you can barely hear the waitresses. But all in all, we think this restaurant is much nicer and better than all those wok centers.

Had dinner last night. It was very busy so many orders went wrong. After 1 hour we had not all had our first dishes. We found out that you can simply continue ordering, at least at our neighboring table, dishes were delivered here and there while we waited quietly. I said something about it a few times, but then it ruined the pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately we won't be coming here for a while.
