We had a delicious meal here! They have an extensive menu with simply excellent prices. We were quickly provided with drinks. The service was good, very friendly. We got generous portions of food and it was really tasty. We did find it somewhat disturbing that it was very noisy. It is almost always busy here, which is of course a good thing, but we sometimes had difficulty understanding each other at the table. Otherwise a really great experience.

Delicious food. Restaurant was quite full. A cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed our food. If you couldn't finish it, there was also the option to take it home.

Been there for the first time and also the last time. We were given a table for 4 right at the entrance, where the pick-ups also have to pick up their food, of course the door often opened, so you were exposed to a draft. Menu was not known to staff, had to provide number not name of the dish. After you have eaten the main course, you will not see anyone again and you will no longer be asked for a drink or dessert. There was a sign outside that said "staff wanted" so taking that into account I understand that you have to wait longer. Personally, I would have chosen to take on a few fewer tables in case of a possible staff shortage. This restaurant is mainly about quick money and not for Greek hospitality. Shame.

We hadden om 18.30 gereserveerd voor 6 personen.We hebben zelf moeten aangeven bij het personeel dat we alvast wat wilden drinken,daarna de menukaart wilden zien en het bestellen gebeurde pas nadat wij erom vroegen.Het personeel kon duidelijk de drukte niet aan.Want toen we na ong.1,5 uur vroegen waar ons eten bleef kregen we te horen dat het nog 10 minuten ging duren.Er waren mensen die na ons kwamen die al bijna klaar waren.Daar bovenop kreeg er ook nog één van ons een ander gerecht omdat de gyros op was.En de rekening klopte ook niet want er stond een gerecht op van 57 euro dat wij niet gehad hadden.Al met al geen goede ervaring en was het voor mij de laatste keer dat ik hier gegeten heb.

Worst service ever. Tables were cleared ourselves, not once was anyone asked for anything to drink after clearing, no one was seen for dessert or anything like that.

Delicious food, despite the crowds the service was good! The food is excellent and for a nice affordable price! Definitely recommended!

It is the second time we go to this Greek restaurant, the first was perfect, but this second time the waitress did not take the order correctly (which we repeated more than twice) and later another waiter brought some dishes that were not and we told him very kindly that that was not what we had ordered and he started talking to us angrily and with bad treatment, blaming us saying that it was what we had ordered and that something we had ordered was not on the menu... he left angry and called the owner who came very respectfully and asked us what was missing, in fact they did have what we had originally ordered and that it was on the menu so in 5 minutes he brought us the food. :) We will repeat but I hope we don't get the same waiter.

Come here often. Service, atmosphere and certainly the food are always of excellent quality. It's so much that we always take some home. Price-quality very good.

Overall everything was good. Since I come from the catering industry myself, I am more critical of these reviews. Here I felt the salad wasn't seasoned enough and was a bit boring. The meat and tzatziki were really good. The service could have been a little more attentive. To be fair, I have to say that it was very well attended with a separate large group. This was my second time there and I left satisfied each time. I will definitely go there again if I feel like Greek 😀

Delicious food, cozy restaurant and friendly staff

Called a few times and didn't answer. But I drove there and when I was at the door they called back. Ordered for pick up. Up to two corrections had to be made before I could pay. In the end everything was completely given. Mussels were drowned in oil unfortunately. Rest was okay. It was quite full inside so I guess it was okay and we were a bit unlucky this time. Maybe better next time.

Heerlijke 2 persoons Kreta schotel gegeten. Veel te veel maar heerlijk vlees, salade en rijst. Bediening ook prima, sneller dan afgelopen jaren

Very good restaurant, delicious food, recommended by friends. Drove here from our hotel in Maastricht. Extensive menu with authentic Greek dishes dishes for friendly prices. Many guests leave the restaurant with white filled plastic bags. Later I understood that this is because of the gigantic portions. Absolutely recommended.

Slechte ervaring. Wij hadden gereserveerd. Bij binnenkomst lang gewacht tot we werden aangesproken. Uiteindelijk werden we zeer onvriendelijk naar een tafel verwezen. Hier hebben we 40 min gezeten zonder enig contact. Het rond rennende personeel had voor niemand aandacht en renden rond als een kip zonder kop. Jammer als een goed restaurant (van horen) zo om gaat met klanten.

Absoluut een afrader! 4 schotels en bijgerechten telefonisch besteld bij de eigenaar om af te halen. Aangezien ik een uien intolerantie heb duidelijk bij de bestelling aangegeven dat 1 schotel zonder uien moest. Bij afhalen dit ook nog bij het personeel kenbaar gemaakt en zij gaf aan dat dit goed zou komen. Helaas bij thuiskomst bleek toch dat er uien in zaten. Gebeld met de eigenaar welke gelijk in de verdediging ging en mij voor leugenaar uitmaakte. Want ik had - volgens hem, niet aangegeven dat het zonder uien moest zijn. Terwijl ik dat heel duidelijk had aangegeven. Geen enkele sorry alleen maar verwijten richting mij. Ongelofelijk schandalig! Bij terugkomst in het restaurant om mijn geld terug te halen kwam er ook geen enkele sorry en alleen maar verwijten. Verwijten voor iets wat ik absoluut telefonisch heb doorgegeven. Ik snap niet dat jij als eigenaar zo met betalende klanten om gaat. En dan ook nog durven zeggen dat er met mij de vorige keer ook al een probleem was. Logisch als ik toen ook aangaf dat mijn schotel zonder uien moest zijn en er toen ook uien op zaten. Ga jij alsjeblieft gauw voor een cursus gastvriendelijkheid, want daar ontbreekt het jou volledig aan. Voor ons NOOIT MEER!

Beautifully decorated restaurant, delicious food, way too much. Tzatziki and gyros taste good. Will definitely come back again. We saw delicious large desserts passing by, but we were already too full to eat another large dessert. Was busy so the friendly staff couldn't keep up. But definitely worth repeating.

Had a delicious meal at Aphrodite last Thursday!! Delicious appetizer, delicious dish and delicious dessert! Staff is great too! We are on holiday in the area, so it's a shame that we can't go here more often!

Delicious food!! Definitely recommended. Unfortunately the service stopped at the end of the main course. They were eating themselves (we were told) and then you leave your guests to their fate! That's really not possible! And the waiter who was still there had a lot of time to chat with a Greek group of guests. This is a shame! So divide attention. Atmosphere outside on the terrace unfortunately noisy due to 2 large groups. Can't do much about the restaurant... Terrace not so attractively decorated.

Cosy, nice place to sit outside. It also looked nice and tidy inside. Excellent and delicious food! You get salad and zarziki with it, you don't have to order separately and ouzo from the case. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Op de bonnefooi aan komen lopen en blij verrast. Lekkere griekse gerechten, nette bediening en een mooie zaak. Op het drinken zou men iets meer kunnen letten, we zaten op de warmste dag van het jaar tamelijk lang te wachten op een 2e ronde. Verder was het goed.

Voor het eerst hier in een B&B. Via Tripadvisor het restaurant gevonden . Op een woensdagavond gelukkig een tafel vrij voor vier. Goed voorteken toch? Het eten was heerlijk maar gewoon te veel. We konden ee doggybag krijgen. De entourage het personeel in een woord TOP!!! Een echte aanrader. Wij blijven 3 nachtenin de B&B en gaan dus zeker terug

Food wasn't high quality, but it wasn't bad either. Salad with dinner was not cold. But then... a restaurant without air conditioning is no longer possible in 2024. You simply melt inside from the heat with an outside temperature of 33-34 degrees.

We were greeted with an ouzo. The food was really tasty and a lot. The service was genuine, friendly and very nice. And large complete to the kitchen.

Geweldige Griek en fijn personeel. Zoveel eten dat zelfs ik het niet op kreeg. Goede giros en bij goed weer een geweldig terras achter het restaurant. Helemaal top en bij een volgende vakantie zeker weer naar deze Gtiek.

The food was of good quality. We had to wait a very long time for our dish. We ordered at 5.10 pm and when I asked about it at 5.40 pm I was treated very unfriendly and when it was served I received a rude answer. Very unprofessional and certainly not an advertisement for the business.

The food is always very good! The service usually too, unfortunately the last time the young waitress didn't feel like it. She was downright blunt and also snapped. Shame.

We've been coming here for years. The food is always delicious. We have "tried" several dishes and have never been disappointed. The service is also always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. We are clearly not the only guests who like to come here, so it is wise to make a reservation!

First time for us at Aphrodite after being recommended by others. The food was good except that the gyros were partly cold. Anyway, that was the only downside in terms of food. We also ordered fries instead of rice, but this was resolved immediately after the dish with rice was placed on the table. The staff, on the other hand, was a different story. They stood at the bar, next to our table, arguing with each other for more than an hour. The younger lady behind the bar was unfriendly anyway, including when paying. We also had to wait about an hour for our food while others who came in later were served their food earlier. After asking how long we had to wait, we got it after 10 minutes. In terms of food/taste: highly recommended. In terms of service/staff: not recommended.

We had a really delicious meal. It was enough and the taste was great. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back. ♿

Always delicious, especially the racks of lamb!

Delicious food, very tasty, not too greasy, not too dry. Very simple. The staff is friendly, but every 5 minutes someone else came to ask if everything was okay. We thought that was a bit too much of a good thing. Furthermore, the room is quite noisy when all the tables are full. Acoustics could be better. But again: the food is delicious!

Was here for the first time. The food was delicious. It is wise to make a reservation, otherwise there is a good chance that you may not be able to eat there. Staff are friendly.

Compared to other Greek restaurants this is the worst. The rice was watery and tasteless. Everything on my plate was substandard.

For many years this has been our favorite restaurant, during this time we have tried everything on the menu, all the dishes are very tasty, but our favorite is fried sardines and lamb on the bone - cooked on the grill - yummy! What’s also important is that this restaurant has a very friendly, helpful staff, as well as two beautifully decorated rooms, a large terrace with a beautiful view, and on the street next to the terrace there is a children’s playground. Our family will continue to visit this wonderful restaurant and recommend it to our friends.

Very great restaurant. The food was great. Price/performance is right. We were given an ouzo as a welcome. And now, 11 months later, here we were again. Still very, very tasty. And we will definitely come here a third time!!

Had dinner with my wife on Valentine's Day. It was lamb chops with fries and a crispy salad. My wife asked for some extra greetings instead of fries; that was no problem. She got excellent hot vegetables, grilled. Truly excellent food. Will be back soon for these lamb chops. It was a successful, pleasant evening. Cool! We often eat fried sardines here. Also fine. The Samos sweet dessert wine with ice is an excellent ending.

The food was excellent as always, but now for the second time we had to wait a long time for someone to bring a card. When asked, a short blunt response that that person only brought out food and we had to wait for the colleague who walked around sporadically. The heating could also have been turned up a notch. Not for us anymore for the time being...

Lekker eten met een vriendelijke bediening. Door de indeling van het restaurant is het wel erg luidruchtig als het druk is.

Klantvriendelijke bediening, goede kwaliteit van het eten! Dat maakt wel dat het druk is.....

Leuke plaats om lekker te eten! Ruim voldoende en lekker gegeten. In de zomer mooi terras om buiten te eten met zicht op een mooie tuin!

Heerlijk eten en zoals gewoonlijk erg veel. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is prima. De bediening moet professioneler gaan acteren.

Heerlijk gegeten, leuke sfeer vriendelijke bediening.

Het eten is er zoals altijd lekker, alleen de huiswijn had kraak nog smaak. Je proefde niet eens dat je wijn dronk, hij had ook totaal geen geur. Jammer, maar verder wat betreft het eten is er echt niets op aan te merken.

The food took very long to be delivered (1hour), the starters were delivered after the main course. The waitress looked like she was attending a funeral. The food itself was good and the chef seemed friendly when he delivered the main course. Would not go again.

Heerlijk gegeten op een doordeweekse dag. Ondanks dat was het er erg druk en behoorlijk rumoerig Vriendelijke bediening. We hebben wel lang (een dik uur) op ons eten moeten wachten zonder een voorgerecht te hebben genut. Al bij al, eten zeer lekker in een drukke sfeer te lang wachten op onze bestelling.

Heerlijk gegeten. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Waar voor je geld.

Net en schoon restaurant. Best druk voor de woensdag, maar hoefden niet lang te wachten. Ouzo en een soort salade van het huis. Een bord vol eten, konden het niet eens op. Heerlijke gyros, bifteki, souvlaki,moussaka. Echt een aanrader! En....niet duur!
