In a word, great! Great food and service, always fun!

We waren hier in september 2024 en het beviel toen zo goed, dat we in maart 2025 speciaal voor dit restaurant terug naar Valkenburg zijn gegaan. Je wordt hier vriendelijk ontvangen. We kregen meteen een glaasje Ouzo aangeboden. We hebben ons (weer) laten verassen met verschillende voorgerechten. Garnalen in een pittige romige saus, tzaziki met zelf gemaakte broodjes, gehaktballen in tomatensaus van vers gehakt (geen fabrieksballen) en feta in een dun laagje filodeeg gebakken. Zo lekker! Als hoofdgerecht Gyros genomen. Heel lekker mals vlees, goed op smaak, hier en daar een krokant korstje er aan, precies zoals het hoort. Een toetje wilden we niet meer, omdat we helemaal vol zaten. Toen kregen we toch een schaaltje met een zelf gemaakt dessert door de eigenaresse om te proeven. Dit was zo lekker. Jammer dat we geen plaats meer hadden voor een volledig dessert. Na het eten kwam de kokkin vragen of alles naar wens was. Dat was het zeker. Tot de volgende keer!

Vandaag zijn wij met 2 personen gaan eten in het restaurant in Valkenburg Het was een gezellig restaurant met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het eten wat wij hadden besteld was lekker en goed bereid. Echter schrokken wij enorm van de hoge prijzen. Alleen al voor de voorgerechtjes betaalde wij voor twee kleine schaaltje tzatziki €19.70 En voor twee Feta met twee schijfjes tomaat uit de oven €32.80 Dat je dit durft te vragen vind ik buiten proportie. Want zo bezonder was het niet. Dus veel te duur naar onze mening

Leuke bediening en het eten smaakte erg goed. Geen een haps smaak zoals bij veel Griekse restaurants. De mensen die er werken zijn ook allemaal Grieks wat ik niet onbelangrijk vind

Be careful rip-off The food is totally overpriced then they just put garlic bread on the table with tzatziki and later charge 30.00 euros so be careful I wouldn't go there again, not recommended

What a ball tent, neatly reserved, arrived on time, but still had to wait 20 minutes, okay, that's possible. Ordered 1x mixed grill 1x Suzuki dish, this was ordered at 8.50 pm, then at 9.45 pm I asked where it was, yes sir, 10 minutes it arrived, ok, then I visited the DIRTY TOILET with the shit next to the bowl and was completely covered in piss, come on I return to the table and they bring: 2x mixed grill without gyros because it was gone, yes, but we ordered 1 Suzuki dish and 1 mixed grill, yes, but suzuki is on you get extra rice and extra fries And we could just eat that. I said I don't like this, meat is so white, it's almost still alive, we just had to choose something else from the menu, unfortunately that's not how it works, I'm not going to eat alone and my wife has to wait for another dish pffffff. Yes and now they say yes, put on a coat and go, what were you thinking??? We got up and left, didn't pay anything because we didn't get anything we ordered, so you don't have to pay anything. This is definitely NOT recommended and we will NEVER return here.

Went to this fantastic restaurant for the third time tonight. And it was incredibly pleasant and delicious again. Very friendly staff, very friendly and sweet hostess. We were surprised by the hostess with a surprise from the kitchen, highly recommended if you are with a group. In short, a great cozy and tasty restaurant. See you next year.

We had made a reservation. When we arrived there was no table available. We waited fifteen minutes. When I ordered a sousouki dish and my husband a mixed grill, it was indicated that the gyros that accompanied both dishes had run out. It could happen that we were offered extra rice and fries because nothing could be adjusted with the price. The side dish we ordered with the main course was served as a starter. We also understand this because it was very busy. Then after waiting an hour and asking twice when the food was coming, we received a mixed grill dish twice. When I indicated that this was not what we had ordered, I was told that the sousouki had run out. I could have chosen something else from the menu. We left and left the food behind.

It was okay, nothing special. Owner and staff very friendly and accommodating. Priced at the upper level and a bit too high for what is on offer.

We went to eat at Thessaloniki after the Christmas market, even without a reservation, we got a table by the window. The gyros were wonderfully seasoned and good and slightly crispy, the chicken souvlaki was also perfect and the staff was very friendly!

Het voorgerecht was veel te zout, maar toen kwam het hoofdgerecht en dat was zooo slecht dit is echt geen goeie aanrader maar het gene wat zonde is was dat het Gyros en de friet en al het andere eten wel heel lekker kon zijn maar het was niet lekker omdat het veel te zout was als mijn oma hier zou eten hé dan was ze ziek geweest want zij kan niet goed zout eten. En we hebben gezegd dat het te zout was maar toen werd de kok boos. Sommige personeel was aardig maar de kok niet echt en ze zeiden dat we niet veel zout eten dat het daarom niet lekker was en ze zeiden dat niemand het eten te zout vond maar als je naar de reviews gaat dan kom je best veel tegen dat het te zout is. Maar in iedergeval ik heb nog nooit meegemaakt dat men eten zo zout en vies is.

Last night upon arrival we were kindly received by a lady, other waiting staff were also very friendly. I've been to several Greek restaurants, but here it really is the best, in Valkenburg! Dishes delicious, meat tender, not overly spiced! TOP!! Thanks for the dessert, it was very tasty! Back again today for round 2!!

We were with my wife last Saturday in this restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly. Especially the woman in the service was really helpful and recommended the best dish that I have ever tasted Kleftiko. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Erg slechte bediening, duurde erg lang voor het eten kwam. Vroeg water naast de wijn, was, werd niet gebracht, bestelde rijst i.p.v. friet, kreeg een grote bak friet maar geen extra rijst, en we werden totaal genegeerd. Kortom bedenk voor u hier gaat eten, wij voelden ons niet welkom.

Had a delicious meal last week. I can only eat very little and after indicating what I like, a delicious meal was prepared and nothing was too crazy. A cozy, not too large restaurant with good acoustics. On my next visit to Valkenburg I already know where I will enjoy the food, the great service and ambiance

Maybe too many customers for the staff to handle, service was slow and food not very interesting (we had the mixed grill like most of the other customers) waiters forgot both fries and rice, which we had to ask for. We've had much better greek food in Greece.

The place to be!! You can get delicious authentic Greek food here, super, super hospitable owner and daughter! Despite the late time we arrived, we were very kindly provided with a delicious meal! Improvising is in the blood. These people have passion for their restaurant, they radiate it. And you can really enjoy Greek food there, the place to eat in Valkenburg!

Nice food, but very strange that you have to pay 1.95 for an egg cup of mayo. There was no response as to what they based the price on.

We had an excellent meal. The food is very tasty. The gentleman and madam at the counter are very customer friendly. Many restaurants can follow this example. We are from Almere but we will definitely come back more often. In our opinion one of the better Greek restaurants!!

So far the best Greek restaurant I have ever eaten at, friendly and energetic staff. Even the chef came out of the kitchen and passed the tables right away, thanking this (Greek woman) because this was really great, next time I'm in the area I'll definitely eat here again. I also hear a lot of people say that the interior is outdated, I don't mind at all, it creates an authentic Greek atmosphere. Nice view too, lots to see along a busy, bustling road

Friendly welcome and good advice when choosing. Mega dish with different types of meat. It was really great and fun!

Het eten is op zich prima als je verwachting laag is. Dolmadakia was nogal week en grijs, de grillschotel was qua hoeveelheid ruim, vlees in orde, lekker gekruid, behalve de kip was aan de droge kant, te lang gegrild? Er werd geadviseerd om geen extra koolsalade (€ 8,00 ! ) te nemen omdat dit ook bij de gerechten zit, dit was echter een (te) kleine hoeveelheid voor twee personen. Personeel is vriendelijk, klantgericht en doet zeker z’n best. Een beoordeling van 2 (slecht) zou dit restaurant te kort doen, score 3 (voldoende) is eigenlijk te veel. Maar ja, je moet een keuze maken.
