Had a bite to eat here on Liberation Day. It was naturally very busy in Vlissingen, and the place was busy too, but we still managed to get a table. Nice owner, friendly service. The food was tasty; we had a Liberation Day menu and it was delicious and reasonably priced.

Upon entering, you are immediately greeted very warmly. The food arrives quite quickly and the quality is really superb! They are also real Greeks, and you can just taste it.

Very busy. Food was okay, but not great. Had to wait a long time for a new round of drinks. Nice for eating with a family with children, but less so if you really want to have a cozy evening with friends or your partner.

We ate here with our family during the Easter holidays. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The portions are perhaps a little small for the price, but that doesn't detract from the overall rating.

We went for a pleasant evening; we’ve been coming here for a while. However, when we saw a hair in our sauce and confronted the owner about it, the atmosphere turned sour. The owner threatened to call the police. He brought up all sorts of things... and basically did all the talking himself. After he calmed down, the only solution for us was: never again. Food is good if there aren't any human objects in it. The restaurant is nice, but the owner could clearly use a dose of life.

Pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce. Very well done. Large portions. The atmosphere is okay, a bit standard. We sat near the door. There's a screen, but it was terribly drafty. I had spanakopita last time. It was microwaved, which was a shame, because the phyllo dough was incredibly tough and white. There's room for improvement.

Food below the standards of the average Greek restaurant in this country. Their tomato sauce is too sweet, truly distasteful.

After ordering food for 6 p.m. at 4:30 p.m., we called at 6:30 p.m. because we had three very hungry children. We were told the delivery driver was on his way, then our food arrived at 7 p.m., as cold as ice. See the photo for the temperature of the meat and the temperature of the fries. We had to reheat our food in the air fryer. I called Poseidon Restaurant, where a vague employee answered the phone and said, "The boss isn't there; he's delivering." We were promised a call back, but unfortunately, nothing. We had to reheat our own food in the air fryer, which was a bland meal. So, never again will we go to Poseidon.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service

The food is absolutely fantastic. We regularly order something different, and it's always delicious. Definitely order the Melitzanes (stewed eggplant) as a side dish; highly recommended! Only the selection of non-alcoholic beers and wines is disappointing. Leffe Brown 0.0 would be a nice addition.

I dare say this is one of the best Greek restaurants I've ever visited, including the ones in Greece. The service is absolutely top-notch; the ladies and gentlemen are like hawks, keeping an eye on everything. Everything is also well-maintained and clean; it's simply remarkable how well-maintained and clean everything is. Reservations are recommended, as the place was completely full.

A very good Greek restaurant located right on the harbor. We often eat there when we're on vacation and have never been disappointed. The selection is excellent and the prices are reasonable! Since it's a family-run business, they place great emphasis on atmosphere, service, and a warm welcome.

We had a wonderful meal with a group of 12. There was a reservation issue, but it was promptly resolved. Four stars for the ambiance, as the lighting was quite bright.

Just when you think the atmosphere is great - the food is absolutely delicious and flavoursome. Definitely will go back. Sumi gave us such a great service.

We ate with 4 people. Good food with sufficiently large portions. Upon entering, we were immediately surprised with an ouzo. If we are in the area again, we will go there again.

There is nothing to complain about regarding the food. The service, on the other hand. Our 10-year-old daughter was locked in the toilet (old-fashioned key that broke off), the locksmith arrived quickly (half an hour). She wanted to use the toilet just before dinner; specifically, food was on the table when it happened. Afterwards, they said "eat quickly now." What food? Cold food? We had to ask for new, hot food ourselves. We moved to the back of the line, essentially waiting. We ordered drinks again... well, you had to wait... but nothing was offered on the house, the owner didn't even come over to ask if everything was okay, we were avoided, as if out of fear "they'll make a fuss," even though... we ordered dessert (our daughter really deserved it), and a coffee afterwards; our bill was over 200 euros. That's not the issue, but we would have appreciated a little humanity. We find this experience deeply saddening, knowing that we were there as tourists and, above all, come to Vlissingen every year and had visited the restaurant frequently in the past for the good food. Is this where society is heading? Me, me, me? We didn't blame anyone—it happens—but just simple humanity like "Is everything okay?" "Do you want a Coke (or whatever)?"—very simple—would have made a world of difference emotionally.

Located at the marina. Beautiful view. The service is efficient and friendly. Trilingual menus are available. I expected more based on other guests' reviews. It's quite possible that my own expectations were too high due to other people's experiences.

After reading the good reviews, we were a little disappointed. The service definitely deserves its 4 stars. The food, however, deserves a maximum of 2 stars.

The place is great. It has a great atmosphere, and the terrace is right by the harbor in the city center. It was packed, and it was a tropically hot day. We had to wait a long time for our main course. Just as I was about to ask if they might have forgotten us, it arrived. My food was overcooked and tasted of tomato sauce. There was no nuance to it. It wasn't just "not good," it was downright disgusting! I left everything. The T-bone steaks were thin, tough, and sinewy. Both men didn't eat more than half of them. The rice was also cooked far too long and overcooked. Inedible. The fourth portion (gyros and lamb chops) was good. The boss said it was so busy and it was 60 degrees Celsius in the kitchen that he couldn't get angry with his staff. He left one T-bone steak off the bill. Apparently, we were having a really bad day, because the other reviews are good. We will definitely never come back here again. I've never eaten so poorly. For now, I'm putting the fact that I'm sick today and the next day and have diarrhea down to coincidence.

We were a group of four, two adults and two children, at Grieks Restaurant Poseidon in Vlissingen. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was truly excellent. My husband's main course, lamb chops, were unfortunately overcooked, and he wouldn't have complained because the restaurant was very busy, and we completely understand that sometimes it's not possible to cook everything to perfection. However, the owner himself came to our table and asked how we were enjoying our meal. My husband answered truthfully, saying that we had enjoyed everything else immensely, but that the chops were unfortunately overcooked. The staff responded immediately and with great understanding, which is truly exceptional. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much for the wonderful service, the delicious food, and the hospitality. If we are ever in the area again, we would be delighted to return to Grieks Restaurant Poseidon in Vlissingen.

We ate there tonight: the service and atmosphere were okay, but the gyros was terrible: greasy pieces of meat, the meat was grey, less than lukewarm, and completely tasteless, and all for €20! 🥴 Bottom line: stay away from the gyros!!!!

The food is good, but the service could be much better. If you want to have a drink outside upon arrival and then go inside to eat, this is not possible. So you are not allowed to change seats during your visit, which is quite odd.

We had a delicious meal, truly Greek! Well-seasoned, the meat was very tender and flavorful. Delicious tzatziki. The price, quality, and quantity were excellent. On the first day: GREAT. On the second visit, the daily menu didn't quite live up to the excellent first impression.

The food was absolutely delicious. Nice and tender, not too much and not too little. Nicely seasoned. Communication between staff was reasonable, although there were some ambiguities that prevented everything from going smoothly. I thought I saw that the children were being given ouzo. I sincerely hope I misunderstood. *Update* This turned out to be different. The children are given Sprite or water to toast with. You shouldn't be claustrophobic for the men's restroom, and the room was very warm.

Yesterday, we were invited to join them for a delicious meal in Vlissingen. Of course, we couldn't say no. A fantastic evening full of conviviality and unique stories from the past. Poseidon in Vlissingen is a modern, high-quality Greek restaurant. It's always busy, and for good reason, so reservations are definitely recommended. They serve Greek dishes as we know them in the Dutch style, as well as traditional dishes like lamb cooked in paper. Today, because we come here often, we opted for the Farmer's Platter. It's always a matter of finding the perfect combination of meats, but this is definitely a favorite. Because of the dessert's size, which is a must, a starter is practically impossible unless you share one, which we often do. Personally, I think it's a shame that the potato wedges (long ago) were replaced with fries. But that doesn't make the rest of the food any less delicious. The daily special is also recommended. An absolutely wonderful evening at a superb Greek restaurant. The service is second to none in Vlissingen. Even the burning tea light was replaced within a minute – incredibly attentive. The food was delicious, and the price was right. Everything is cooked fresh here, without any frozen products. Keep it up!

It was delicious, but the cuisine was unfamiliar to me, so the spices were too strong for me, so I couldn't finish it all. The rest of the meat was good, though.

We had booked extra early at 5:30 PM. The staff was already waiting to show us to our table. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant, which does take away from the ambiance. The service and the food were honestly excellent. The meat was wonderfully tender. Even when it quickly got busy, the staff kept a close eye on us to see if we wanted to order anything. Therefore, these well-deserved stars. Unfortunately, the food was too good, so I forgot to take the photos.

The one and only Greek restaurant. Superb service and always delicious food. Highly recommended, but it can get busy, so it's best to make a reservation to guarantee a spot. Even during the week, except on public holidays, it fills up quickly and is very lively.

Visited yesterday with 15 people. Unfortunately, only 14 people received their food on the table and 1 guest was not served a meal despite giving a reminder. The lady who took the drink orders was very inexperienced and paid no attention to the group at all, which also applies to the colleagues passing by. The waiter who took the meals poked one of the participants with a pen to get their attention. For us as a group this was once but never again.

Not good not bad. Average. Like almost all Greek restaurants. Good food! Quite a price, but where isn't that nowadays? Service is smooth but they do exactly what they have to do. Disadvantage, very noisy! When the restaurant is full the acoustics are terrible. After a few hours you are happy that your ears are getting some rest. Beautifully and attractively decorated.

Na een mindere ervaring in de zomer 2023 wilden we het eind augustus nog een keer proberen. Hetzelfde gezelschap van 4 personen, dezelfde ervaring. Het dagmenu en de gyros-schotel. Alle vlees was smakeloos, net als de bijbehorende salade. Nu hebben we het wel gehad met Poseidon.

We often go out to eat, but what we experience now. This really is the best Greek restaurant in Zeeland. Mix Grill and Garides Tiganites are really made with love, it is very tasty. I recommend everyone to eat at Poseiden. 10☆

Nog altijd een goed adres voor Griekse gerechten. En keuze uit een mooie kaart die wat anders heeft te bieden dan de bekende mixed grill die standaard bij de meeste Griekse restaurants op het menu staan. Gewoon goed gegeten hier nu we toch een keer in Vlissingen waren en je zit hier gelijk in een mooie omgeving.

Service is always great ,its pity they reduced on food quality and started to serv super small potions. Was last time for us.
