Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijk personeel. Sfeervol ingericht restaurant. Voldoende tijd gekregen tussen de gerechten door.

We had booked extra early, 5:30 PM. The waiter was already waiting to show us to our table. A nice, sleekly decorated restaurant. Which does take away some of the atmosphere. The service and food were honestly extremely good. The meat was wonderfully tender. Even when it quickly became busy, the staff kept a close eye on us to see if we still wanted to order. That's why these well-deserved stars. Unfortunately the food was too tasty so I forgot to take the photos

It was tasty, cuisine unknown to me, so the spices were too much for me and therefore I didn't finish everything. The rest of the meat was tasty

The one and only Greek. Great service and always delicious food. Highly recommended, it can be busy so it is better to make a reservation to be assured of a spot. Even on weekdays without public holidays, it quickly becomes full and cozy here.

Visited yesterday with 15 people. Unfortunately, only 14 people received their food on the table and 1 guest was not served a meal despite giving a reminder. The lady who took the drink orders was very inexperienced and paid no attention to the group at all, which also applies to the colleagues passing by. The waiter who took the meals poked one of the participants with a pen to get their attention. For us as a group this was once but never again.

Not good not bad. Average. Like almost all Greek restaurants. Good food! Quite a price, but where isn't that nowadays? Service is smooth but they do exactly what they have to do. Disadvantage, very noisy! When the restaurant is full the acoustics are terrible. After a few hours you are happy that your ears are getting some rest. Beautifully and attractively decorated.

Na een mindere ervaring in de zomer 2023 wilden we het eind augustus nog een keer proberen. Hetzelfde gezelschap van 4 personen, dezelfde ervaring. Het dagmenu en de gyros-schotel. Alle vlees was smakeloos, net als de bijbehorende salade. Nu hebben we het wel gehad met Poseidon.

We often go out to eat, but what we experience now. This really is the best Greek restaurant in Zeeland. Mix Grill and Garides Tiganites are really made with love, it is very tasty. I recommend everyone to eat at Poseiden. 10☆

Nog altijd een goed adres voor Griekse gerechten. En keuze uit een mooie kaart die wat anders heeft te bieden dan de bekende mixed grill die standaard bij de meeste Griekse restaurants op het menu staan. Gewoon goed gegeten hier nu we toch een keer in Vlissingen waren en je zit hier gelijk in een mooie omgeving.

We used to go to this restaurant quite often but last few times we noticed that quality and quantity went sooooo low. In comparison to other restaurants in surrounding you can get better. Service is always great ,its pity they reduced on food quality and started to serv super small potions. Was last time for us.

We komen al jaren zo nu en dan bij Poseidon. De laatste tijd hebben we gezien dat de prijzen enorm gestegen zijn en de porties steeds kleiner worden. Zo ook nu weer. Hetgeen we als hoofdgerecht op ons bord kregen en waar we €23 p/p voor moesten betalen, was echt de hoeveelheid van een kindermenu. Echt bedroevend. De voorgerechten waren helemaal erg. Griekse kaasballetjes voor €9,25. Wat krijg je daarvoor? 3 mini kaasballetjes, ter grootte van een twee euro munt, met wat verlepte sla eronder. Voor die prijs is dat echt schandalig. De bediening vinden we ook steeds slechter worden helaas. De eigenaar is allesbehalve vriendelijk. Hij stond normaal gesproken altijd achter de bar en dat kan hij beter blijven doen, want klantencontact is niet aan hem besteed. Er kan geen lachje of vriendelijke blik vanaf. We moesten, nadat we de menukaart (oftewel placemat) hadden gehad, ruim een half uur wachten tot iemand de bestelling kwam opnemen. Vervolgens werd ons iets later gevraagd of we nog een drankje wilde, maar dat kwam niet. Daar hebben we twee keer opnieuw om moeten vragen en uiteindelijk opnieuw moeten bestellen. Om uiteindelijk bij het afrekenen te zien dat er twee drankjes teveel op de rekening stonden. Dus die waren wel op de rekening gezet, maar nooit gebracht. Heel slecht. Allemaal van die kleine dingen die het niet prettig maken. We snappen dat alles duurder wordt, maar voor ons is de prijs in verhouding tot de porties echt een reden om niet meer naar Poseidon te gaan.

Nice to sit outside and enjoy delicious appetizers. The main courses were ok but nothing special (especially for the price).

We were there too and had dinner. The ambience is great there, good location at the boat dock. Service was good, it took 40 minutes to get the food, but then the shop was very busy and that was it. The gyro was very good. Hearty taste, I haven't had such a good gyro in a long time. The Mussaka was a dream and very tasty. The meat in general was excellently prepared "very high praise for the kitchen" We had the Olympus Paltte for two. The kids had gyro plates The prices are quite high. We would still like to come back.

Hello, We spontaneously went to eat at Poseidon last night because the fish restaurant was already closed. We were greeted warmly and given a table outside. The location is nice and is right next to the pier for various boats. There was an ouzo on the house beforehand. We also got a baby chair/children's chair! Beforehand we ate herb butter with bread and breaded feta with onions. There was also a salad with the main course. The main course consisted of the farmer's platter (gyros, chicken skewer, souvlaki, tzaziki) and stuffed bifteki with feta. Now for the review: The bread was still warm and the herb butter was a poem. Very very tasty. The feta had a very mild and delicious taste. The onion rounded the whole thing off. The filled bifteki was very seasoned and tasted great with the tomato stock. The meat in the farmer's platter was very well seasoned and tasted very good. The gyro had hardly any fat. Cons: For us, tzatziki could have had a bit more garlic content and the chicken skewer on the farmer's platter was a bit dry. We will definitely come back again 😊 The prices are absolutely reasonable!!

Waited 2 hours for our food in the cold with a toddler and a baby. With an excuse as to why it took so long. And a very meager plate of food.

It was okay, but nothing more. Food was ok, fries were ok, ouzo unfortunately got a little warm. I'm also used to an ouzo when I say goodbye, but that didn't come. Still, all in all OK.

After knowing Poseidon as a very good restaurant two and five years ago, we would be very disappointed with the quality of the food today. We visited the restaurant right at the beginning of the evening business and ordered gyros. The meat was dry and gave the impression that it had been left over from lunch and had been reheated in the pan. The rice side dish wasn't freshly prepared either. Based on today's experiences, I cannot recommend the restaurant more highly.

After a terrible day, the staff took such good care of us! Truly a one of a kind experience created by kind and attentive people.

We will not be supporting this business again. I cannot say the food was bad but our meal was surely ruined. We asked the waiter a question regarding the meat and were shortly met with the owner waiving a plate of raw meat over our table asking if we could tell the difference between this and the cooked food placed in front of us. This action was uncalled for and ruined our meal and evening. After paying and proceeding to leave the owner approached us to offer an awkward and frankly late apology. Eating out is not just about the food it's about the experience.There was no excuse for such behavior and we will not be returning or recommending this establishment

We called very late on a Saturday afternoon to make a reservation, a friendly gentleman answered and told us he still had 1 spot available, the food was delicious, if we are in Vlissingen again, we will definitely come back.

We stopped here while visiting the city of Vlissingen because we were impressed by the Google reviews. We had a feta as a starter, 2x cola and 2x gyros. The appetizer arrived quickly. We waited 1.5 hours for the main course. The fries that were served as a side dish tasted like fish. The gyro was full of gnarly and absolutely greasy - untypical for what I usually eat. The starter and side salad were delicious. When the waitress asked us if we liked it and we told her our conclusion, she just said "I'm hearing that for the first time today, I'm sure it won't happen again next time." Yes. But at €65 and a plate that you didn't finish, there definitely won't be a next time!

Meat dish was nice. I ordered a mixed grill, so you know what to expect from the average Greek. Meat was okay. The vegetarian among us had very limited choice for the main course. He was given a plate full of small snacks. Grilled zucchini with cheese, a bolus of puff pastry filled with spinach, a piece of fried feta. Wash a bit dry. When asked if it was tasty and it was stated that it was mediocre, no further comment was given. That's strange. It also looks very neat and cozy.

Awesome! Super nice staff, delicious food, tonight (Thursday October 26) was very busy, fun. But the staff went above and beyond... and remained very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Too bad we live in Groningen, otherwise we would definitely come back more often.

Waiting 1.5 hours for the meal is a bit long. Also quite pricey for the amount of food.

Started with an ouzo on the house. 1 of us eats gluten-free and the options are good. There is a separate allergen card on which all dishes with allergens are listed. However, the cookie roll on the dessert did not appear to be gluten-free. To be on the safe side, I didn't eat this either. Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The meat was well cooked and very tasty. The house wine tasted good with the meat. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Unfortunately not baby friendly, no changing place, and if you wanted to change the baby, other guests had no problem. That's just not possible, you can't leave a baby in a dirty diaper, no air conditioning, it was very hot, we had to leave early and couldn't eat our food. Very bad.

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. The waiter immediately splashed the first drink over the table, hitting our clothes with coke. Then people laugh about it. As if that wasn't bad enough, it took 45 minutes before our order was even taken. To make matters worse, they also brought the wrong dishes to our table, meaning we couldn't eat together. During this whole event, there were also several tables that came in later and had already finished their main course while we were still waiting for our starter. In summary, once and never again.

Good food with generous portions but also at reasonable prices. The service was very friendly and helpful, but we had to wait 90 minutes for the food (main course) to arrive. The side salad was served after about 50 minutes. Therefore points deducted. It seems to be the best Greek in town. The restaurant was very busy.

The gyros was dried out and inedible. There were at least 20 cigarette butts and other trash under our table. In any case, the outdoor area is not recommended.

We had a dish for 2 people, personally I thought the tenderloin and lamb chop were tough, but the prawns and chicken on it were very tasty. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Samos wine is really important to me, super tasty. We will definitely come back to try something different.
